Indication And Usage
|
Nail fungus treatments are typically used as follows. Clean the Affected Area: Wash and dry the infected nail and surrounding skin thoroughly before applying the treatment. Trim and File the Nail: Trim the infected nail as short as possible, and gently file any thickened areas. This helps the treatment penetrate better. Apply the Treatment: Follow the product instructions carefully. Some treatments are applied directly to the nail and surrounding skin, while others may need to be brushed or sprayed. Allow to Dry Completely: Let the treatment dry fully to ensure maximum effectiveness and avoid spreading the fungus. Use Consistently: Apply the treatment regularly, as directed (e.g., once or twice daily), for the best results. Fungal infections can take several months to fully heal, so consistency is key. Maintain Nail Hygiene: Keep nails clean and dry, and avoid tight, non-breathable shoes or socks to help prevent reinfection. For best results, follow the product's specific instructions closely, as different treatments may have unique guidelines.
