"IndicationAndUsage": "Cefadroxil Capsules USP are indicated for the treatment of patients with infection caused by susceptible strains of the designated organisms in the following diseases. Urinary tract infections caused by E. coli, P. mirabilis, and Klebsiella species. Skin and skin structure infections caused by staphylococci and/or streptococci. Pharyngitis and/or tonsillitis caused by Streptococcus pyogenes (Group A beta-hemolytic streptococci). Note: Only penicillin by the intramuscular route of administration has been shown to be effective in the prophylaxis of rheumatic fever. Cefadroxil monohydrate is generally effective in the eradication of streptococci from the oropharynx. However, data establishing the efficacy of cefadroxil monohydrate for the prophylaxis of subsequent rheumatic fever are not available. Note: Culture and susceptibility tests should be initiated prior to and during therapy. Renal function studies should be performed when indicated. To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of cefadroxil capsules and other antibacterial drugs, cefadroxil capsules should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. When culture and susceptibility information are available, they should be considered in selecting or modifying antibacterial therapy. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy.",
"Description": "Cefadroxil monohydrate is a semisynthetic cephalosporin antibiotic intended for oral administration. It is a white to yellowish-white crystalline powder. It is soluble in water and it is acid-stable. It is chemically designated as 5-Thia-1-azabicyclo[4.2.0]oct-2-ene-2-carboxylic acid, 7-[[amino(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetyl]amino]-3-methyl-8-oxo-, monohydrate, [6R-[6α,7β(R*)]]-. It has the formula C 16H 17N 3O 5SH 2O and the molecular weight of 381.40. It has the following structural formula:. Each capsule contains cefadroxil monohydrate USP equivalent to 500 mg of cefadroxil. In addition, each capsule also contains the following inactive ingredients: crospovidone, D&C Red No. 28, FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C Red No. 40, ferric oxide black, gelatin, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, shellac and titanium dioxide."

<IndicationAndUsage>Cefadroxil Capsules USP are indicated for the treatment of patients with infection caused by susceptible strains of the designated organisms in the following diseases. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy.</IndicationAndUsage>

<IndicationAndUsage>IDVYNSO is indicated as a complete two-drug regimen for the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) infection in adults to replace the current antiretroviral regimen in those who are virologically-suppressed (HIV-1 RNA less than 50 copies/mL) on a stable antiretroviral regimen with no history of virologic treatment failure and no known substitutions associated with resistance to doravirine [see Microbiology (12.4) and Clinical Studies (14)].</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>IDVYNSO is a fixed-dose combination tablet for oral administration containing doravirine, an HIV-1 non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI), and islatravir, an HIV-1 nucleoside analog reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI). Each film-coated tablet contains 100 mg of doravirine and 0.25 mg islatravir as active ingredients. The tablets include the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose acetate succinate, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, and microcrystalline cellulose. The tablets are film coated with a coating material containing the following inactive ingredients: calcium carbonate, ferric oxide, ferrosoferric oxide, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, and triacetin. The coated tablets are polished with carnauba wax. Doravirine. The chemical name for doravirine is 3-chloro-5-[[1-[(4,5-dihydro-4-methyl-5-oxo-1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)methyl]-1,2-dihydro-2-oxo-4-(trifluoromethyl)-3-pyridinyl]oxy]benzonitrile. The molecular formula is C17H11ClF3N5O3 and the molecular weight is 425.75. Doravirine is practically insoluble in water and has the following structural formula. Islatravir. Islatravir is a crystalline monohydrate. The chemical name for islatravir is 2′-deoxy-4′-C-ethynyl-2-fluoroadenosine hydrate (1:1). The molecular formula is C12H12FN5O3.H2O and the molecular weight is 311.27. Islatravir monohydrate is very slightly soluble in water and has the following structural formula.</Description>
