"Description": "Morphine Sulfate Oral Solution is an opioid agonist, available in the following concentrations for oral administration: 1 10 mg per 5 mL (2 mg/mL): Each 1 mL of oral solution contains 2 mg of morphine sulfate, USP (equivalent to 1.5 mg morphine). , 2 20 mg per 5 mL (4 mg/mL): Each 1 mL of oral solution contains 4 mg of morphine sulfate, USP (equivalent to 3 mg morphine)., 3 100 mg per 5 mL (20 mg/mL): Each 1 mL of oral solution contains 20 mg of morphine sulfate, USP (equivalent to 15 mg morphine).The chemical name is 7,8-didehydro-4,5 alpha-epoxy-17 methyl-morphinan-3,6 alpha-diol sulfate (2:1) (salt) pentahydrate. "IndicationAndUsage": "Galantamine is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate dementia of the Alzheimer’s type.",
"Description": "Galantamine Oral Solution, USP contains galantamine hydrobromide, USP, a reversible, competitive acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, as the hydrobromide salt. Galantamine hydrobromide is known chemically as (4aS,6R,8aS)-4a,5,9,10,11,12-hexahydro-3-methoxy-11-methyl-6H-benzofuro[3a,3,2-ef][2]benzazepin-6-ol hydrobromide. It has an empirical formula of C17H21NO3 HBr and a molecular weight of 368.27. Galantamine hydrobromide, USP is a white to off-white powder and is sparingly soluble in water. The structural formula is:. Galantamine Oral Solution, USP contains 4 mg (as 5.13 mg galantamine hydrobromide, USP) per mL. The inactive ingredients are methylparaben, propylparaben, purified water and saccharin sodium. Galantamine may contain hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide to adjust pH."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Posaconazole is an azole antifungal indicated as follows: : 1 Posaconazole is indicated for the prophylaxis of invasive Aspergillus and Candida infections in adults and pediatric patients 13 years of age and older who are at high risk of developing these infections due to being severely immunocompromised, such as hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) recipients with graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) or those with hematologic malignancies with prolonged neutropenia from chemotherapy. (1.2) , 2 Posaconazole oral suspension is indicated for the treatment of oropharyngeal candidiasis (OPC), including OPC refractory (rOPC) to itraconazole and/or fluconazole in adults and pediatric patients aged 13 years and older. (1.3).",
"Description": "Posaconazole is an azole antifungal agent. Posaconazole is designated chemically as 4-[4-[4-[4-[[ (3R,5R)-5-(2,4-difluorophenyl)tetrahydro-5-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl)-3-furanyl]methoxy]phenyl]-1-piperazinyl]phenyl]-2-[(1S,2S)-1-ethyl-2-hydroxypropyl]-2,4-dihydro-3H-1,2,4-triazol-3-one with an empirical formula of C37H42F2N8O4 and a molecular weight of 700.8. The chemical structure is. Posaconazole is a white to off-white powder that is practically insoluble in water. Posaconazole oral suspension is a white to off-white, cherry-brandy flavored immediate-release suspension containing 40 mg of posaconazole per mL and the following inactive ingredients: cherry-brandy flavor, citric acid monohydrate, hydroxyethyl cellulose, glycerin, polyoxyl 35 castor oil, simethicone emulsion, sodium benzoate, sodium citrate, sorbitol solution, titanium dioxide, and water."

"Description": "Mercaptopurine is a nucleoside metabolic inhibitor. The chemical name is 6H-purine-6-thione, 1,7-dihydro-, monohydrate. The molecular formula is C5H4N4SH2O and the molecular weight is 170.20. The structural formula is:. Mercaptopurine, USP is a yellow, crystalline powder; odorless. It is practically insoluble in water and in ether; slightly soluble in ethanol (96%). It dissolves in solutions of alkali hydroxides; pKa 7.8, 11.2. Mercaptopurine oral suspension contains 2,000 mg/100 mL (20 mg/mL) of mercaptopurine, USP. The suspension also contains the following inactive ingredients: aspartame, ethylparaben sodium, hydrochloric acid, methylparaben sodium, potassium sorbate, raspberry juice powder (raspberry juice, rice syrup solids, silicon dioxide), sodium hydroxide, sucrose, water (purified), xanthan gum. Mercaptopurine oral suspension is a pink to brown viscous suspension."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Lidocaine is indicated for the production of topical anesthesia of irritated or inflamed mucous membranes of the mouth and pharynx. It is also useful for reducing gagging during the taking of X-ray pictures and dental impressions.",
"Description": "Lidocaine Viscous 2% (Lidocaine Hydrochloride Oral Topical Solution, USP) contains a local anesthetic agent and is administered topically. Lidocaine Viscous 2% (Lidocaine Hydrochloride Oral Topical Solution, USP) contains lidocaine hydrochloride, which is chemically designated as acetamide, 2-(diethylamino)-N-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)-,monohydrochloride, monohydrate and has the following structural formula:. The molecular formula of lidocaine is C14H22N2O HCl H2O. The molecular weight is 288.81. Composition of Solution. Each mL contains 20 mg (2%) of lidocaine hydrochloride, USP and the following inactive ingredients: carboxymethylcellulose sodium, flavoring, methylparaben, propylparaben, purified water and saccharin sodium."

"Description": "Mycophenolate mofetil is an antimetabolite immunosuppressant. It is the 2‑morpholinoethyl ester of mycophenolic acid (MPA), an immunosuppressive agent; inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH) inhibitor. The chemical name for mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) is 4-Hexenoic acid, 6-(1,3-dihydro-4-hydroxy-6-methoxy-7-methyl-3-oxo-5-isobenzofuranyl)-4-methyl-,2-(4-morpholinyl)ethyl ester, (E)-. It has an empirical formula of C23H31NO7, a molecular weight of 433.49, and the following structural formula. Mycophenolate mofetil, USP is a white or almost white crystalline powder. (1.1), 2 Maintenance treatment of airflow obstruction and reducing exacerbations in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). (1.2).",
"Description": "Fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder USP, 100 mcg/50 mcg, fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder USP, 250 mcg/50 mcg, and fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder USP, 500 mcg/50 mcg are combinations of fluticasone propionate, USP and salmeterol xinafoate, USP. One active component of fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder is fluticasone propionate, a corticosteroid having the chemical name S-fluoromethyl-6α,9α-difluoro-11β-hydroxy-16α-methyl-3-oxo-17α-propionyloxyandrosta-1,4-diene-17β-carbothioate and the following chemical structure. Fluticasone propionate is a white or almost white powder with a molecular weight of 500.6, and the empirical formula is C25H31F3O5S. It is practically insoluble in water, freely soluble in dimethyl sulfoxide and dimethylformamide, and slightly soluble in methanol and 95% ethanol. The other active component of fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder is salmeterol xinafoate, a beta2-adrenergic bronchodilator. Salmeterol xinafoate is the racemic form of the 1-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acid salt of salmeterol. It has the chemical name 1,3-benzenedimethanol, 4-hydroxy-α1-[[[6-(4-phenylbutoxy)hexyl]amino]methyl]-(±)-,1-hydroxy-2-naphthalenecarboxylate (salt) and the following chemical structure. Salmeterol xinafoate is a white to off-white powder with a molecular weight of 603.75, and the empirical formula is C25H37NO4C11H8O3. It is freely soluble in methanol; slightly soluble in ethanol, chloroform, and isopropanol; and sparingly soluble in water. Fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder is in a gray plastic inhaler containing a foil blister strip. Each blister on the strip contains a white powder mix of micronized fluticasone propionate (100 mcg, 250 mcg, or 500 mcg) and micronized salmeterol xinafoate salt (72.5 mcg, equivalent to 50 mcg of salmeterol base) in 12.5 mg of formulation containing lactose monohydrate (which contains milk proteins). After the inhaler is activated, the powder is dispersed into the airstream created by the patient inhaling through the mouthpiece. Under standardized in vitro test conditions, fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder delivers 93 mcg, 233 mcg, and 465 mcg of fluticasone propionate and 45 mcg of salmeterol base per blister from fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder 100 mcg/50 mcg, fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder 250 mcg/50 mcg, and fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder 500 mcg/50 mcg, respectively, when tested at a flow rate of 60 L/min for 2 seconds. In adult subjects with obstructive lung disease and severely compromised lung function (mean FEV1 20% to 30% of predicted), mean peak inspiratory flow (PIF) through another dry powder inhaler was 82.4 L/min (range: 46.1 to 115.3 L/min). Inhalation profiles for adolescent (N = 13, aged 12 to 17 years) and adult (N = 17, aged 18 to 50 years) subjects with asthma inhaling maximally through another dry powder inhaler show mean PIF of 122.2 L/min (range: 81.6 to 152.1 L/min). Inhalation profiles for pediatric subjects with asthma inhaling maximally through another dry powder inhaler show a mean PIF of 75.5 L/min (range: 49.0 to 104.8 L/min) for the 4‑year‑old subject set (N = 20) and 107.3 L/min (range: 82.8 to 125.6 L/min) for the 8‑year‑old subject set (N = 20). The actual amount of drug delivered to the lung will depend on patient factors, such as inspiratory flow profile."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder is a combination product containing a corticosteroid and a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA) indicated for: 1 Twice-daily treatment of asthma in patients aged 4 years and older. (1.1), 2 Maintenance treatment of airflow obstruction and reducing exacerbations in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). (1.2).",
"Description": "Fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder USP, 100 mcg/50 mcg, fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder USP, 250 mcg/50 mcg, and fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder USP, 500 mcg/50 mcg are combinations of fluticasone propionate, USP and salmeterol xinafoate, USP. One active component of fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder is fluticasone propionate, a corticosteroid having the chemical name S-fluoromethyl-6α,9α-difluoro-11β-hydroxy-16α-methyl-3-oxo-17α-propionyloxyandrosta-1,4-diene-17β-carbothioate and the following chemical structure. Fluticasone propionate is a white or almost white powder with a molecular weight of 500.6, and the empirical formula is C25H31F3O5S. It is practically insoluble in water, freely soluble in dimethyl sulfoxide and dimethylformamide, and slightly soluble in methanol and 95% ethanol. The other active component of fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder is salmeterol xinafoate, a beta2-adrenergic bronchodilator. Salmeterol xinafoate is the racemic form of the 1-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acid salt of salmeterol. It has the chemical name 1,3-benzenedimethanol, 4-hydroxy-α1-[[[6-(4-phenylbutoxy)hexyl]amino]methyl]-(±)-,1-hydroxy-2-naphthalenecarboxylate (salt) and the following chemical structure. Salmeterol xinafoate is a white to off-white powder with a molecular weight of 603.75, and the empirical formula is C25H37NO4C11H8O3. It is freely soluble in methanol; slightly soluble in ethanol, chloroform, and isopropanol; and sparingly soluble in water. Fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder is in a gray plastic inhaler containing a foil blister strip. Each blister on the strip contains a white powder mix of micronized fluticasone propionate (100 mcg, 250 mcg, or 500 mcg) and micronized salmeterol xinafoate salt (72.5 mcg, equivalent to 50 mcg of salmeterol base) in 12.5 mg of formulation containing lactose monohydrate (which contains milk proteins). After the inhaler is activated, the powder is dispersed into the airstream created by the patient inhaling through the mouthpiece. Under standardized in vitro test conditions, fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder delivers 93 mcg, 233 mcg, and 465 mcg of fluticasone propionate and 45 mcg of salmeterol base per blister from fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder 100 mcg/50 mcg, fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder 250 mcg/50 mcg, and fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder 500 mcg/50 mcg, respectively, when tested at a flow rate of 60 L/min for 2 seconds. In adult subjects with obstructive lung disease and severely compromised lung function (mean FEV1 20% to 30% of predicted), mean peak inspiratory flow (PIF) through another dry powder inhaler was 82.4 L/min (range: 46.1 to 115.3 L/min). Inhalation profiles for adolescent (N = 13, aged 12 to 17 years) and adult (N = 17, aged 18 to 50 years) subjects with asthma inhaling maximally through another dry powder inhaler show mean PIF of 122.2 L/min (range: 81.6 to 152.1 L/min). Inhalation profiles for pediatric subjects with asthma inhaling maximally through another dry powder inhaler show a mean PIF of 75.5 L/min (range: 49.0 to 104.8 L/min) for the 4‑year‑old subject set (N = 20) and 107.3 L/min (range: 82.8 to 125.6 L/min) for the 8‑year‑old subject set (N = 20). The actual amount of drug delivered to the lung will depend on patient factors, such as inspiratory flow profile."

"Description": "Lisinopril is an oral long-acting angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor. Lisinopril, a synthetic peptide derivative, is chemically described as (S)-1-[N2-(1-carboxy-3-phenylpropyl)-L-lysyl]-L-proline dihydrate. Its empirical formula is C21H31N3O5·2H2O and its structural formula is. Lisinopril is a white to off-white, crystalline powder, with a molecular weight of 441.53. It is soluble in water and sparingly soluble in methanol and practically insoluble in ethanol. Lisinopril tablets are supplied as 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, 30 mg and 40 mg tablets for oral administration. Inactive Ingredients. 2.5 mg tablets - colloidal silicon dioxide, dibasic calcium phosphate, magnesium stearate, mannitol, pre-gelatinized starch, starch. 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg and 30 mg tablets – colloidal silicon dioxide, dibasic calcium phosphate, magnesium stearate, mannitol, pre-gelatinized starch, red iron oxide, starch. 40 mg tablets - colloidal silicon dioxide, dibasic calcium phosphate, magnesium stearate, mannitol, pre-gelatinized starch, starch, yellow iron oxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "RIOMET is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults and pediatric patients 10 years of age and older with type 2 diabetes mellitus.",
"Description": "RIOMET oral solution contains the biguanidine antihyperglycemic agent metformin in the form of monohydrochloride salt. Metformin hydrochloride, is N,N-dimethylimidodicarbonimidic diamide hydrochloride. The structural formula is shown as. Metformin hydrochloride, USP is a white crystalline powder with a molecular formula of C 4H11N5HCl and a molecular weight of 165.62. Metformin hydrochloride, USP 2.0 g is soluble in 20 mL of water. The pKa of metformin is 12.4. The pH of a 1% aqueous solution of metformin hydrochloride is 6.68. It is freely soluble in water; slightly soluble in alcohol; practically insoluble in acetone and in methylene chloride. RIOMET (Cherry Flavor) contains 500 mg of metformin hydrochloride (the equivalent of 389.93 mg metformin) per 5 mL and the following inactive ingredients: Artificial cherry flavor, hydrochloric acid, potassium bicarbonate, purified water, saccharin calcium, and xylitol. RIOMET (Strawberry Flavor) contains 500 mg of metformin hydrochloride (the equivalent of 389.93 mg metformin) per 5 mL and the following inactive ingredients: Hydrochloric acid, N&A strawberry flavor (propylene glycol and glycerin), potassium bicarbonate, purified water, sucralose, and xylitol."
