"IndicationAndUsage": "Control of severe or incapacitating allergic conditions intractable to adequate trials of conventional treatment in asthma, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, drug hypersensitivity reactions, perennial or seasonal allergic rhinitis, and serum sickness.",
"Description": "Dexamethasone Tablets USP are available for oral administration containing either 0.5 mg, 0.75 mg, 1 mg, 1.5 mg, 2 mg, 4 mg or 6 mg of dexamethasone USP. Each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, starch, sugar, D&C Yellow #10 (0.5 mg and 4 mg), FD&C Blue #1 (0.75 mg and 1.5 mg), FD&C Green #3 (4 mg and 6 mg), FD&C Red #3 (1.5 mg), FD&C Red #40 (1.5 mg), FD&C Yellow #6 (0.5 mg and 4 mg) and Yellow Iron Oxide (1 mg). Dexamethasone Oral Solution USP is formulated for oral administration containing 0.5 mg per 5 mL of dexamethasone USP. The cherry brandy flavored oral solution contains the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous citric acid, cherry brandy flavor, disodium edetate, glycerin, methylparaben, propylene glycol, propylparaben, sorbitol solution and water. Dexamethasone Oral Solution USP Intensol (Concentrate) is formulated for oral administration containing 1 mg per mL of dexamethasone USP. In addition, the oral solution contains the following inactive ingredients: alcohol 30% v/v, anhydrous citric acid, benzoic acid, disodium edetate, propylene glycol and water. Dexamethasone, a synthetic adrenocortical steroid, is a white to practically white, odorless, crystalline powder. It is stable in air. It is practically insoluble in water. The empirical formula is C22H29FO5. The molecular weight is 392.47. It is designated chemically as 9-fluoro-11β,17,21-trihydroxy-16α-methylpregna-1,4-diene,3,20-dione and the structural formula is."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Quetiapine is an atypical antipsychotic indicated for the treatment of: : 1 Schizophrenia (1.1) , 2 Bipolar I disorder manic episodes (1.2) , 3 Bipolar disorder, depressive episodes (1.2).",
"Description": "Quetiapine is an atypical antipsychotic belonging to a chemical class, the dibenzothiazepine derivatives. The chemical designation is 2-[2-(4-dibenzo [b,f] [1,4]thiazepin-11-yl-1-piperazinyl)ethoxy]-ethanol fumarate (2:1) (salt). It is present in tablets as the fumarate salt. All doses and tablet strengths are expressed as milligrams of base, not as fumarate salt. Its molecular formula is C42H50N6O4S2C4H4O4 and it has a molecular weight of 883.10 (fumarate salt). The structural formula is: 1 ."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Dicyclomine hydrochloride capsules, USP are indicated for the treatment of patients with functional bowel/irritable bowel syndrome.",
"Description": "Dicyclomine hydrochloride is an antispasmodic and anticholinergic (antimuscarinic) agent available as. Dicyclomine hydrochloride capsules, USP for oral use containing 10 mg dicyclomine hydrochloride, USP. Dicyclomine hydrochloride 10 mg capsules contain the following inactive ingredients: corn starch, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, and microcrystalline cellulose. Capsule shells contain FD&C Blue No.1, FD&C Red No.40, gelatin, purified water, and sodium lauryl sulfate. The white monogramming ink contains: ammonium hydroxide, isopropyl alcohol, n-butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, shellac, simethicone, and titanium dioxide. Dicyclomine hydrochloride is [bicyclohexyl]-1-carboxylic acid, 2-(diethylamino) ethyl ester, hydrochloride, with a molecular formula of C19H35NO2HCl and the following structural formula. Dicyclomine hydrochloride occurs as a fine, white, crystalline, practically odorless powder with a bitter taste. It is soluble in water, freely soluble in alcohol and chloroform, and very slightly soluble in ether."

It is soluble in water, freely soluble in alcohol and chloroform, and very slightly soluble in ether."

Each capsule for oral administration contains lithium carbonate USP, 150 mg, 300 mg or 600 mg and the following inactive ingredient: talc. The capsule shells contain black monogramming ink, FD&C Red No. 40 (300 mg and 600 mg only), gelatin and titanium dioxide. The black monogramming ink contains ammonium hydroxide, ethanol, iron oxide black, isopropyl alcohol, N-butyl alcohol, propylene glycol and shellac glaze. Lithium is an element of the alkali-metal group with atomic number 3, atomic weight 6.94, and an emission line at 671 nm on the flame photometer. "Description": "Each tablet for oral administration contains lithium carbonate USP, 300 mg and the following inactive ingredients: calcium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, purified water, sodium lauryl sulfate, and sodium starch glycolate. Each capsule for oral administration contains lithium carbonate USP, 150 mg, 300 mg or 600 mg and the following inactive ingredient: talc. The capsule shells contain black monogramming ink, FD&C Red No. 40 (300 mg and 600 mg only), gelatin and titanium dioxide. The black monogramming ink contains ammonium hydroxide, ethanol, iron oxide black, isopropyl alcohol, N-butyl alcohol, propylene glycol and shellac glaze. Each 5 mL of solution for oral administration contains lithium ion (Li+), 8 mEq (equivalent to amount of lithium in 300 mg of lithium carbonate), alcohol 0.3% v/v and the following other inactive ingredients: citric acid, purified water, raspberry blend, sodium benzoate and sorbitol solution. Lithium Oral Solution is a palatable oral dosage form of lithium ion. It is prepared in solution from lithium hydroxide and citric acid in a ratio approximately di-lithium citrate. Lithium is an element of the alkali-metal group with atomic number 3, atomic weight 6.94, and an emission line at 671 nm on the flame photometer. "Description": "Prednisone is a glucocorticoid. Glucocorticoids are adrenocortical steroids, both naturally occurring and synthetic, which are readily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Prednisone, USP is a white to partially white, crystalline powder. It is very slightly soluble in water; slightly soluble in alcohol, chloroform, dioxane, and methanol. The chemical name for prednisone is 17,21-dihydroxypregna-1,4-dienne-3,11,20-trione. The structural formula is represented below. Each tablet, for oral administration, contains 1, 2.5, 5, 10, 20, or 50 mg of prednisone. PredniSONE Oral Solution contains 5 mg prednisone per 5 mL, and PredniSONE IntensolTM Oral Solution (Concentrate) contains 5 mg prednisone per mL. Inactive Ingredients. PredniSONE Tablets, USP contain the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, sodium starch glycolate and stearic acid (1 mg, 2.5 mg, and 5 mg only). PredniSONE Oral Solution, USP contains alcohol 5% and the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous citric acid, edetate disodium, fructose, hydrochloric acid, maltol, peppermint oil, polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, saccharin sodium, sodium benzoate, vanilla flavor and purified water. "IndicationAndUsage": "Clonidine hydrochloride is indicated in the treatment of hypertension. Clonidine hydrochloride may be employed alone or concomitantly with other antihypertensive agents.",
"Description": "Clonidine hydrochloride is a centrally acting alpha-agonist hypotensive agent available as tablets for oral administration in three dosage strengths: 0.1 mg, 0.2 mg and 0.3 mg. The 0.1 mg tablet is equivalent to 0.087 mg of the free base. The inactive ingredients are lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, sodium starch glycolate, magnesium stearate and FD&C Yellow No. 6 Aluminum Lake. Clonidine hydrochloride 0.1 mg tablets also contain FD&C Red No. 40 Aluminum Lake and FD&C Blue No. 1 Aluminum Lake. Clonidine hydrochloride is an imidazoline derivative and exists as a mesomeric compound. The chemical name is 2-(2,6-dichlorophenylamino)-2-imidazoline hydrochloride. The following is the structural formula:. C9H9Cl2N3.HCl Mol Wt. 266.56. Clonidine hydrochloride is an odorless, bitter, white, crystalline substance soluble in water and alcohol."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Balsalazide disodium capsules are indicated for the treatment of mildly to moderately active ulcerative colitis in patients 5 years of age and older. Limitations of Use. Safety and effectiveness of balsalazide disodium capsules beyond 8 weeks in pediatric patients 5 years to 17 years of age and 12 weeks in adults have not been established.",
"Description": "Each Balsalazide Disodium Capsule, USP contains 750 mg of balsalazide disodium, a prodrug that is enzymatically cleaved in the colon to produce mesalamine (5-aminosalicylic acid or 5-ASA), an aminosalicylate. Each capsule of balsalazide (750 mg) is equivalent to 267 mg of mesalamine. Balsalazide disodium has the chemical name (E)-5-[[4-[[(2-Carboxyethyl)amino]carbonyl] phenyl]azo]-2-hydroxybenzoic acid, disodium salt, dihydrate. Its structural formula is. Molecular Weight: 437.31. Molecular Formula: C17H13N3Na2O62H2O. Balsalazide disodium is a yellow to orange crystalline powder. It is freely soluble in water and isotonic saline and DMSO, sparingly soluble in methanol and ethanol, and practically insoluble in all other organic solvents. The inactive ingredients in Balsalazide Disodium Capsules, USP are colloidal silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate. Additionally, the capsule shell contains FD&C Blue #1, FD&C Red #40, FD&C Yellow #6, gelatin, and titanium dioxide. The black monogramming ink contains ammonium hydroxide, iron oxide black, isopropyl alcohol, n-butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, and shellac glaze.
