"Description": "Duloxetine hydrochloride USP is a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) for oral administration. Its chemical designation is (+)-( S)- N-methyl-γ-(1-naphthyloxy)-2-thiophenepropylamine hydrochloride. The molecular formula is C 18H 19NOSHCl, which corresponds to a molecular weight of 333.88. The structural formula is:. Duloxetine hydrochloride USP is a white to brownish-white solid, which is slightly soluble in water. Each capsule contains enteric-coated pellets of 20 mg, 30 mg, 40 mg or 60 mg of duloxetine (equivalent to 22.4 mg, 33.7 mg, 44.9 mg or 67.3 mg of duloxetine hydrochloride, USP respectively). These enteric-coated pellets are designed to prevent degradation of the drug in the acidic environment of the stomach. Inactive ingredients include sugar spheres, hypromellose, sucrose, talc, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion, and triethyl citrate. The capsule shell contains gelatin, FD&C Red No. 3 (40 mg), FD&C Blue No. 1 (40 mg), FD&C Blue No. 2 (20 mg, 30 mg, 60 mg), titanium dioxide, and sodium lauryl sulfate. For 20 mg, 30 mg, 40 mg (body & cap) and 60 mg (body only) strengths, imprinting black ink contains shellac, dehydrated alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, strong ammonia solution, black iron oxide, potassium hydroxide and purified water. "IndicationAndUsage": "K-TAB is indicated for the treatment and prophylaxis of hypokalemia with or without metabolic alkalosis, in patients for whom dietary management with potassium-rich foods or diuretic dose reduction is insufficient.",
"Description": "K-TAB (potassium chloride extended-release tablets) is a solid oral dosage form of potassium chloride containing 600 mg, 750 mg and 1500 mg of potassium chloride, USP, equivalent to 8 mEq, 10mEq and 20 mEq of potassium, respectively, in a film-coated (not enteric-coated), wax matrix tablet. The chemical name is potassium chloride, and the structural formula is KCl. Potassium chloride, USP, occurs as a white, granular powder or as colorless crystals. It is odorless and has a saline taste. Its solutions are neutral to litmus. It is freely soluble in water and insoluble in alcohol. The 8 mEq and 10 mEq tablets also contain castor oil, cellulosic polymers, colloidal silicon dioxide, D&C Yellow No. 10, magnesium stearate, paraffin, polyvinyl acetate, titanium dioxide, vanillin, and vitamin E. The 20 mEq tablets also contain castor oil, cellulosic polymers, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, paraffin, polyvinyl acetate, titanium dioxide, vanillin, and vitamin E."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Depakote ER is indicated for: : 1 Acute treatment of manic or mixed episodes associated with bipolar disorder, with or without psychotic features (1.1), 2 Monotherapy and adjunctive therapy of complex partial seizures and simple and complex absence seizures; adjunctive therapy in patients with multiple seizure types that include absence seizures (1.2), 3 Prophylaxis of migraine headaches (1.3).",
"Description": "Divalproex sodium is a stable co-ordination compound comprised of sodium valproate and valproic acid in a 1:1 molar relationship and formed during the partial neutralization of valproic acid with 0.5 equivalent of sodium hydroxide. Chemically it is designated as sodium hydrogen bis(2-propylpentanoate). Divalproex sodium has the following structure:. Divalproex sodium occurs as a white powder with a characteristic odor. Depakote ER 250 and 500 mg tablets are for oral administration. Depakote ER tablets contain divalproex sodium in a once-a-day extended-release formulation equivalent to 250 and 500 mg of valproic acid. Inactive Ingredients. Depakote ER 250 and 500 mg tablets: FD&C Blue No. 1, hypromellose, lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, potassium sorbate, propylene glycol, silicon dioxide, titanium dioxide, and triacetin. In addition, 500 mg tablets contain iron oxide and polydextrose. Meets USP Dissolution Test 2."

"Description": "Divalproex sodium is a stable co-ordination compound comprised of sodium valproate and valproic acid in a 1:1 molar relationship and formed during the partial neutralization of valproic acid with 0.5 equivalent of sodium hydroxide.
