"Description": "Teriparatide Injection, USP is a chemically synthesized human parathyroid hormone analog (PTH 1-34). It has an identical sequence to the 34 N-terminal amino acids (the biologically active region) of the 84-amino acid human parathyroid hormone. The molecular formula of teriparatide, USP is C181H291N55O51S2 and molecular weight is 4117.8 daltons. Its amino acid sequence is shown below. Teriparatide, USP is manufactured by chemical synthesis. Teriparatide Injection, USP is supplied as a sterile, colorless, clear, isotonic solution in a glass cartridge which is pre-assembled into a single-patient-use delivery device (pen) for subcutaneous injection. Each delivery device (pen) is filled with volume to allow delivery of 2.24 mL. Each mL contains 250 mcg of teriparatide, USP (corrected for acetate, and water content), 0.41 mg of glacial acetic acid, 0.166 mg of sodium acetate (trihydrate), 45.4 mg of mannitol, 3 mg of metacresol, and water for injection. In addition, hydrochloric acid solution 10% and/or sodium hydroxide solution 10% may have been added to adjust the pH to 3.8 to 4.5. Each prefilled delivery device (pen) delivers 20 mcg of teriparatide, USP per dose for up to 28 days. Each device contains additional volume to allow troubleshooting of the device 2 times."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Reclipsen (desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol tablets USP) is indicated for the prevention of pregnancy in women who elect to use oral contraceptives as a method of contraception. Oral contraceptives are highly effective. Table 1 lists the typical accidental pregnancy rates for users of combined oral contraceptives and other methods of contraception. The efficacy of these contraceptive methods, except sterilization, the IUD, and the Norplant System depends upon the reliability with which they are used. Correct and consistent use of these methods can result in lower failure rates. In a clinical trial with Reclipsen (desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol tablets USP), 1,195 subjects completed 11,656 cycles and a total of 10 pregnancies were reported. This represents an overall user-efficacy (typical user-efficacy) pregnancy rate of 1.12 per 100 women-years. This rate includes patients who did not take the drug correctly. Table 1: PERCENTAGE OF WOMEN EXPERIENCING AN UNINTENDED PREGNANCY DURING THE FIRST YEAR OF TYPICAL USE AND THE FIRST YEAR OF PERFECT USE OF CONTRACEPTION AND THE PERCENTAGE CONTINUING USE AT THE END OF THE FIRST YEAR. UNITED STATES. Reclipsen (desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol tablets USP) has not been studied for and is not indicated for use in emergency contraception.",

"IndicationAndUsage": "The topical corticosteroids are indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses.",
"Description": "The topical corticosteroids constitute a class of primarily synthetic steroids used as anti-inflammatory and antipruritic agents. The topical corticosteroids are intended for topical administration. The active component is the corticosteroid fluocinonide, which is the 21-acetate ester of fluocinolone acetonide and has the chemical name pregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione,21-(acetyloxy)-6,9-difluoro-11-hydroxy-16,17-[(1-methylethylidene) bis(oxy)]-,(6α, 11β, 16α)-. It has the following structural formula. C26H32F207 M.W. 494.5. Each gram of Fluocinonide Cream USP, 0.05% (Emulsified Base) contains: 0.5 mg fluocinonide, USP in a water-washable aqueous emollient base of stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, mineral oil, propylene glycol, sorbitan monostearate, polysorbate 60, citric acid monohydrate and purified water. Each gram of Fluocinonide Cream USP, 0.05% contains: 0.5 mg fluocinonide, USP in a specially formulated cream base consisting of stearyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol 8000, propylene glycol, 1,2,6-hexanetriol and citric acid monohydrate. This white cream vehicle is greaseless, non-staining, anhydrous and completely water miscible. The base provides emollient and hydrophilic properties. In this formulation, the active ingredient is totally in solution. Each gram of Fluocinonide Ointment USP, 0.05% contains: 0.5 mg fluocinonide, USP in an ointment base consisting of white petrolatum, castor oil, and sorbitan sesquioleate. It provides the occlusive and emollient effects desirable in an ointment. In this formulation, the active ingredient is totally in solution."

<IndicationAndUsage>Reclipsen (desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol tablets USP) is indicated for the prevention of pregnancy in women who elect to use oral contraceptives as a method of contraception. Reclipsen (desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol tablets USP) has not been studied for and is not indicated for use in emergency contraception.</IndicationAndUsage>
