"IndicationAndUsage": "Tacrolimus ointment, both 0.03% and 0.1% for adults, and only 0.03% for children aged 2 to 15 years, is indicated as second-line therapy for the short-term and non-continuous chronic treatment of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis in non-immunocompromised adults and children who have failed to respond adequately to other topical prescription treatments for atopic dermatitis, or when those treatments are not advisable. "IndicationAndUsage": "The topical corticosteroids are indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses.",
"Description": "The topical corticosteroids constitute a class of primarily synthetic steroids used as anti-inflammatory and antipruritic agents. The topical corticosteroids are intended for topical administration. The active component is the corticosteroid fluocinonide, which is the 21-acetate ester of fluocinolone acetonide and has the chemical name pregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione,21-(acetyloxy)-6,9-difluoro-11-hydroxy-16,17-[(1-methylethylidene) bis(oxy)]-,(6α, 11β, 16α)-. It has the following structural formula. C26H32F207 M.W. 494.5. Each gram of Fluocinonide Cream USP, 0.05% (Emulsified Base) contains: 0.5 mg fluocinonide, USP in a water-washable aqueous emollient base of stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, mineral oil, propylene glycol, sorbitan monostearate, polysorbate 60, citric acid monohydrate and purified water. Each gram of Fluocinonide Cream USP, 0.05% contains: 0.5 mg fluocinonide, USP in a specially formulated cream base consisting of stearyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol 8000, propylene glycol, 1,2,6-hexanetriol and citric acid monohydrate. This white cream vehicle is greaseless, non-staining, anhydrous and completely water miscible. The base provides emollient and hydrophilic properties. In this formulation, the active ingredient is totally in solution. Each gram of Fluocinonide Ointment USP, 0.05% contains: 0.5 mg fluocinonide, USP in an ointment base consisting of white petrolatum, castor oil, and sorbitan sesquioleate. "IndicationAndUsage": "Ketoconazole Cream, 2% is indicated for the topical treatment of tinea corporis, tinea cruris and tinea pedis caused by Trichophyton rubrum, T. mentagrophytes and Epidermophyton floccosum; in the treatment of tinea (pityriasis) versicolor caused by Malassezia furfur (Pityrosporum orbiculare); and in the treatment of cutaneous candidiasis caused by Candida spp.",
"Description": "Ketoconazole Cream, 2% contains the broad-spectrum synthetic antifungal agent, ketoconazole 2%. Each gram, for topical administration, contains ketoconazole 20 mg and is formulated in an aqueous cream vehicle consisting of propylene glycol, purified water, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, isopropyl myristate, sorbitan monostearate, polysorbate 60, polysorbate 80, and sodium sulfite, anhydrous. Ketoconazole is cis-1-acetyl-4-[4-[[2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-2-(1H-imidazol-1-ylmethyl)-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl]methoxy]phenyl]piperazine and has the following structural formula. C26H28Cl2N4O4 M.W. 531.44."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Tacrolimus ointment, both 0.03% and 0.1% for adults, and only 0.03% for children aged 2 to 15 years, is indicated as second-line therapy for the short-term and non-continuous chronic treatment of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis in non-immunocompromised adults and children who have failed to respond adequately to other topical prescription treatments for atopic dermatitis, or when those treatments are not advisable. Tacrolimus ointment is not indicated for children younger than 2 years of age (see boxed WARNING, WARNINGS and PRECAUTIONS: Pediatric Use).",
"Description": "Tacrolimus ointment contains tacrolimus, a macrolide immunosuppressant produced by Streptomyces tsukubaensis. It is for topical dermatologic use only. Chemically, tacrolimus is designated as [3S-[3R*[E(1S*,3S*,4S*)],4S*,5R*,8S*,9E,12R*,14R*,15S*,16R*,18S*,19S*,26aR*]]-5,6,8,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,24,25,26,26a-hexadecahydro-5,19-dihydroxy-3-[2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxycyclohexyl)-1-methylethenyl]-14,16-dimethoxy-4,10,12,18-tetramethyl-8-(2-propenyl)-15,19-epoxy-3H-pyrido[2,1-c][1,4]oxaazacyclotricosine-1,7,20,21(4H,23H)-tetrone, monohydrate. It has the following structural formula:. Tacrolimus has a molecular formula of C44H69NO12 H2O and a formula weight of 822.03. Each gram of tacrolimus ointment contains (w/w) either 0.03% or 0.1% of tacrolimus in a base of mineral oil, paraffin, propylene carbonate, white petrolatum and white wax."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Estradiol gel is an estrogen indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms due to menopause (1.1).",
"Description": "Estradiol gel 0.1 percent, is a clear, colorless gel, which is odorless when dry. It is designed to deliver sustained circulating concentrations of estradiol when applied once daily to the skin. The gel is applied to a small area (200 cm2) of the thigh in a thin layer. Estradiol gel is available in five doses of 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, and 1.25 grams for topical application (corresponding to 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, and 1.25 mg estradiol, respectively). The active component of the topical gel is estradiol, an estrogen. Estradiol is a white crystalline powder, chemically described as estra-1,3,5(10)-triene-3,17ß-diol. It has an empirical formula of C18H24O2 and molecular weight of 272.39. The structural formula is. The remaining components of the gel (carbomer, ethanol, propylene glycol, purified water, and triethanolamine) are pharmacologically inactive. Estradiol gel contains 56% alcohol."

"IndicationAndUsage": "NAMENDA XR® is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe dementia of the Alzheimer’s type.",
"Description": "NAMENDA XR (memantine hydrochloride) is an orally active NMDA receptor antagonist. The chemical name for memantine hydrochloride is 1-amino-3,5-dimethyladamantane hydrochloride with the following structural formula. The molecular formula is C12H21NHCl and the molecular weight is 215.76. Memantine hydrochloride occurs as a fine white to off-white powder and is soluble in water. NAMENDA XR capsules are supplied for oral administration as 7 mg, 14 mg, 21 mg, and 28 mg capsules. Each capsule contains extended-release beads with the labeled amount of memantine hydrochloride and the following inactive ingredients: sugar spheres, polyvinylpyrrolidone, hypromellose, talc, polyethylene glycol, ethylcellulose, ammonium hydroxide, oleic acid, and medium chain triglycerides in hard gelatin capsules."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Non-Standardized Allergenic Extracts are indicated for. : 1 Skin test diagnosis of patients with a clinical history of allergies to one or more of the specific non-standardized allergens., 2 Immunotherapy for the reduction of allergen-induced allergic symptoms confirmed by appropriate positive skin tests or by in vitro testing for allergen-specific IgE antibodies.",
"Description": "Non-Standardized Allergenic Extracts are sterile solutions used for percutaneous testing, intradermal testing, or subcutaneous immunotherapy. Aqueous extracts contain the soluble extractants of the source material in water for injection, 0.5% sodium chloride, 0.54% sodium bicarbonate, and 0.4% phenol. Glycerinated extracts contain the soluable extractants of the source material in water for injection and 50% glycerin, 0.25% sodium chloride, 0.27% sodium bicarbonate, and 0.2% phenol. The pH of the extracts range from 6 to 9. Certain food extracts (Barley, Oat, Pineapple, Rye, Spinach, and Wheat), labeled “For Diagnostic Use Only”, contain 0.1% sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate as an antioxidant. Source materials used in the manufacture of allergenic extracts are collected from natural sources or from laboratory cultures. Non-Standardized Allergenic Extracts appear as clear and colorless to dark brown solutions that should be free of particulate matter. Extracts are labeled either as weight-to-volume based on the weight of the source material to the volume of the extracting fluid, or as PNU/milliliter with one PNU representing 0.00001 mg of protein nitrogen per milliliter."
