"IndicationAndUsage": "Non-Standardized Allergenic Extracts are indicated for. : 1 Skin test diagnosis of patients with a clinical history of allergies to one or more of the specific non-standardized allergens., 2 Immunotherapy for the reduction of allergen-induced allergic symptoms confirmed by appropriate positive skin tests or by in vitro testing for allergen-specific IgE antibodies. .",
"Description": "Non-Standardized Allergenic Extracts are sterile solutions used for percutaneous testing, intradermal testing, or subcutaneous immunotherapy. Aqueous extracts contain the soluble extractants of the source material in water for injection, 0.5% sodium chloride, 0.54% sodium bicarbonate, and 0.4% phenol. Glycerinated extracts contain the soluable extractants of the source material in water for injection and 50% glycerin, 0.25% sodium chloride, 0.27% sodium bicarbonate, and 0.2% phenol. The pH of the extracts range from 6 to 9. Certain food extracts (Barley, Oat, Pineapple, Rye, Spinach, and Wheat), labeled “For Diagnostic Use Only”, contain 0.1% sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate as an antioxidant. Source materials used in the manufacture of allergenic extracts are collected from natural sources or from laboratory cultures. Non-Standardized Allergenic Extracts appear as clear and colorless to dark brown solutions that should be free of particulate matter. Extracts are labeled either as weight-to-volume based on the weight of the source material to the volume of the extracting fluid, or as PNU/milliliter with one PNU representing 0.00001 mg of protein nitrogen per milliliter."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Moexipril hydrochloride tablets USP are indicated for treatment of patients with hypertension. It may be used alone or in combination with thiazide diuretics. In using moexipril hydrochloride tablets USP, consideration should be given to the fact that another ACE inhibitor, captopril, has caused agranulocytosis, particularly in patients with renal impairment or collagen-vascular disease. Available data are insufficient to show that moexipril hydrochloride tablets USP do not have a similar risk (see WARNINGS). In considering use of moexipril hydrochloride tablets USP, it should be noted that in controlled trials ACE inhibitors have an effect on blood pressure that is less in black patients than in non-blacks. In addition, ACE inhibitors (for which adequate data are available) cause a higher rate of angioedema in black than in non-black patients (see WARNINGS,Angioedema).",
"Description": "Moexipril hydrochloride, USP, the hydrochloride salt of moexipril, is chemically described as [3S-[2[R*(R*)],3R*]]-2-[2-[[1-(ethoxycarbonyl)-3-phenylpropyl]amino]-1-oxopropyl]-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-6,7-dimethoxy-3-isoquinolinecarboxylic acid, monohydrochloride. It is a non-sulfhydryl containing precursor of the active angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor moexiprilat and its structural formula is. C27H34N2O7HCl M.W. 535.04. Moexipril hydrochloride, USP is a fine white to off-white powder. It is soluble (about 10% weight-to-volume) in distilled water at room temperature. Moexipril hydrochloride tablets USP are supplied as bisected, coated tablets containing 7.5 mg and 15 mg of moexipril hydrochloride, USP for oral administration. In addition to the active ingredient, moexipril hydrochloride, USP, the tablet core contains the following inactive ingredients: crospovidone, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, pregelatinized starch and sodium bicarbonate. <IndicationAndUsage>Non-Standardized Allergenic Extracts are indicated for. : 1 Skin test diagnosis of patients with a clinical history of allergies to one or more of the specific non-standardized allergens., 2 Immunotherapy for the reduction of allergen-induced allergic symptoms confirmed by appropriate positive skin tests or by in vitro testing for allergen-specific IgE antibodies. .</IndicationAndUsage>

Non-Standardized Allergenic Extracts are sterile solutions used for percutaneous testing, intradermal testing, or subcutaneous immunotherapy. Extracts are labeled either as weight-to-volume based on the weight of the source material to the volume of the extracting fluid, or as PNU/milliliter with one PNU representing 0.00001 mg of protein nitrogen per milliliter.

<IndicationAndUsage>Nifedipine extended-release tablets are indicated for the management of vasospastic angina confirmed by any of the following criteria: 1) classical pattern of angina at rest accompanied by ST segment elevation, 2) angina or coronary artery spasm provoked by ergonovine, or 3) angiographically demonstrated coronary artery spasm. In those patients who have had angiography, the presence of significant fixed obstructive disease is not incompatible with the diagnosis of vasospastic angina, provided that the above criteria are satisfied. Nifedipine extended-release tablets may also be used where the clinical presentation suggests a possible vasospastic component, but where vasospasm has not been confirmed, e.g., where pain has a variable threshold on exertion, or in unstable angina where electrocardiographic findings are compatible with intermittent vasospasm, or when angina is refractory to nitrates and/or adequate doses of beta blockers.</IndicationAndUsage>

Nifedipine is a drug belonging to a class of pharmacological agents known as the calcium channel blockers. Nifedipine is 3,5-pyridinedicarboxylic acid, 1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-4-(2-nitrophenyl)-, dimethyl ester, C 17H 18N 2O 6, and has the structural formula:. Nifedipine is a yellow crystalline substance, practically insoluble in water but soluble in ethanol. It has a molecular weight of 346.3. Nifedipine GITS (Gastrointestinal Therapeutic System) tablet is formulated as a once-a-day controlled-release tablet for oral administration designed to deliver 30, 60, or 90 mg of nifedipine. Inert ingredients in the formulations are: cellulose acetate; ferric oxide; hypromellose; magnesium stearate; polyethylene glycol; polyethylene oxide; potassium chloride; povidone; sodium chloride; titanium dioxide; propylene glycol and black iron oxide. The USP Dissolution Test is pending.

<IndicationAndUsage>Sedative. Anticonvulsant – For the treatment of generalized and partial seizures.</IndicationAndUsage>

The barbiturates are nonselective central nervous system (CNS) depressants that are primarily used as sedative-hypnotics. In subhypnotic doses, they are also used as anticonvulsants. The barbiturates and their sodium salts are subject to control under the Federal Controlled Substances Act. Phenobarbital is a barbituric acid derivative and occurs as white, odorless, small crystals or crystalline powder that is very slightly soluble in water; soluble in alcohol, in ether, and in solutions of fixed alkali hydroxides and carbonates; sparingly soluble in chloroform. Phenobarbital is 5-ethyl-5-phenylbarbituric acid. Phenobarbital is a substituted pyrimidine derivative in which the basic structure is barbituric acid, a substance that has no CNS activity. CNS activity is obtained by substituting alkyl, alkenyl, or aryl groups on the pyrimidine ring. It has the following structural formula. Each phenobarbital tablet contains 15 mg, 16.2 mg, 30 mg, 32.4 mg, 60 mg, 64.8 mg, 97.2 mg or 100 mg of phenobarbital. In addition each tablet contains: colloidal silicon dioxide, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose and sodium starch glycolate.

<IndicationAndUsage>Moexipril hydrochloride tablets USP are indicated for treatment of patients with hypertension. In addition, ACE inhibitors (for which adequate data are available) cause a higher rate of angioedema in black than in non-black patients (see WARNINGS,Angioedema).</IndicationAndUsage>

Moexipril hydrochloride, USP, the hydrochloride salt of moexipril, is chemically described as [3S-[2[R*(R*)],3R*]]-2-[2-[[1-(ethoxycarbonyl)-3-phenylpropyl]amino]-1-oxopropyl]-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-6,7-dimethoxy-3-isoquinolinecarboxylic acid, monohydrochloride. The film coating of the 7.5 mg tablet contains: hypromellose, iron oxide red, lactose monohydrate, titanium dioxide and triacetin. The film coating of the 15 mg tablet contains: hypromellose, iron oxide red, lactose monohydrate, titanium dioxide and triacetin. Moexipril hydrochloride tablets USP meet USP Dissolution Test 2.
