"IndicationAndUsage": "Tamsulosin hydrochloride capsules are indicated for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) [see Clinical Studies (14)]. Tamsulosin hydrochloride capsules are not indicated for the treatment of hypertension.",
"Description": "Tamsulosin hydrochloride is an antagonist of alpha1A adrenoceptors in the prostate. Tamsulosin hydrochloride is (-)-(R)-5-[2-[[2-(o-Ethoxyphenoxy) ethyl]amino]propyl]-2-methoxybenzenesulfonamide, monohydrochloride. Tamsulosin hydrochloride USP is a white or almost white crystalline powder that melts with decomposition at approximately 230°C. It is sparingly soluble in water and methanol, slightly soluble in glacial acetic acid and ethanol, and practically insoluble in ether. The molecular formula of tamsulosin hydrochloride is C20H28N2O5S HCl. The molecular weight of tamsulosin hydrochloride is 444.98. Its structural formula is. Each tamsulosin hydrochloride capsule, USP for oral administration contains tamsulosin hydrochloride USP 0.4 mg, and the following inactive ingredients: calcium stearate, FD&C Blue 2, gelatin, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, microcrystalline cellulose, methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate copolymer dispersion, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, triacetin, and titanium dioxide. The capsules are printed with SW-9008 Black Ink containing black iron oxide, butyl alcohol, dehydrated alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, shellac, and strong ammonia solution. Meets USP dissolution test 10."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Tobramycin inhalation solution is indicated for the management of cystic fibrosis patients with Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Safety and efficacy have not been demonstrated in patients under the age of six years, patients with FEV1 less than 40% or greater than 80% predicted, or patients colonized with Burkholderia cepacia [see Clinical Studies (14)].",
"Description": "Tobramycin inhalation solution, USP is a sterile, clear, colorless to yellow, non-pyrogenic, aqueous solution with pH and salinity adjusted. Tobramycin inhalation solution, USP is administered by a compressed air driven reusable nebulizer. The chemical formula for tobramycin is C18H37N5O9 and the molecular weight is 467.51. Tobramycin, USP is O-3-amino-3-deoxy-α-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-O-[2,6-diamino-2,3,6-trideoxy-α-D-ribo-hexopyranosyl-(1→6)]-2-deoxy-L-streptamine. The structural formula for tobramycin, USP is. Each single-dose 4 mL ampule of tobramycin inhalation solution, USP contains one 300 mg dose of tobramycin, USP with sodium chloride and trisodium citrate dihydrate in sterile water for injection. Sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide are used, as needed, to adjust the pH to 5.0. Nitrogen is used for sparging and filling. The formulation contains no preservatives."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Dimethyl fumarate delayed-release capsules are indicated for the treatment of relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS), to include clinically isolated syndrome, relapsing-remitting disease, and active secondary progressive disease, in adults.",
"Description": "Dimethyl fumarate delayed-release capsules contain dimethyl fumarate which is also known by its chemical name, dimethyl (E) butenedioate, (C6H8O4). It has the following structure:. Dimethyl fumarate is a white to off-white powder that is highly soluble in water with a molecular mass of 144.13. Dimethyl fumarate delayed-release capsules are provided as hard gelatin delayed-release capsules for oral administration, containing 120 mg or 240 mg of dimethyl fumarate consisting of the following inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, silicified microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, talc, silica colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, triethyl citrate, methacrylic acid copolymer - Type A, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion, simethicone (30% emulsion), sodium lauryl sulphate, and polysorbate 80. The capsule shell, printed with black ink, contains the following inactive ingredients: gelatin, titanium dioxide, FD&C blue 1; brilliant blue FCF, yellow iron oxide and black iron oxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Baclofen is useful for the alleviation of signs and symptoms of spasticity resulting from multiple sclerosis, particularly for the relief of flexor spasms and concomitant pain, clonus, and muscular rigidity. Patients should have reversible spasticity so that baclofen treatment will aid in restoring residual function. Baclofen may also be of some value in patients with spinal cord injuries and other spinal cord diseases. Baclofen is not indicated in the treatment of skeletal muscle spasm resulting from rheumatic disorders. The efficacy of baclofen in stroke, cerebral palsy, and Parkinson's disease has not been established and, therefore, it is not recommended for these conditions.",
"Description": "Baclofen USP is a muscle relaxant and antispastic. Its chemical name is 4-amino-3-(-4-chlorophenyl)-butanoic acid. The structural formula is. [Chemical Structure]. Baclofen USP is a white to off-white, odorless or practically odorless crystalline powder. It is slightly soluble in water, very slightly soluble in methanol and insoluble in chloroform. Each tablet, for oral administration, contains 10 mg or 20 mg baclofen. In addition, each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, colloidal silicon dioxide, and magnesium stearate."

"Description": "Ciprofloxacin tablets, USP are synthetic antimicrobial agents for oral administration. Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride, USP, a fluoroquinolone, is the monohydrochloride monohydrate salt of 1-cyclopropyl-6-fluoro-1, 4-dihydro-4-oxo-7-(1-piperazinyl)-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid. It is a faintly yellowish to light yellow crystalline substance with a molecular weight of 385.8. Its molecular formula is C 17H 18FN 3O 3HClH 2O and its chemical structure is as follows:. Ciprofloxacin is 1-cyclopropyl-6-fluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-7-(1-piperazinyl)-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid. Its molecular formula is C 17H 18FN 3O 3 and its molecular weight is 331.4. It is a faintly yellowish to light yellow crystalline substance and its chemical structure is as follows:. Ciprofloxacin film-coated tablets are available in 250 mg, 500 mg and 750 mg (ciprofloxacin equivalent) strengths. Each ciprofloxacin film-coated tablet contains 250 mg (equivalent to 291 mg ciprofloxacin hydrochloride monohydrate) or 500 mg (equivalent to 582 mg ciprofloxacin hydrochloride monohydrate) or 750 mg of ciprofloxacin (equivalent to 873 mg ciprofloxacin hydrochloride monohydrate). Ciprofloxacin tablets, USP are white to off-white. The inactive ingredients are colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, povidone, sodium starch glycolate, and titanium dioxide."

"Description": "Valacyclovir hydrochloride is the hydrochloride salt of the L-valyl ester of the antiviral drug acyclovir.Valacyclovir tablets, USP are for oral administration. Each tablet contains 556 mg or 1.112 grams of valacyclovir hydrochloride USP (hydrous) equivalent to 500 mg or 1 gram of valacyclovir, respectively, and the inactive ingredients crospovidone, FD&C blue #2/indigo carmine aluminum lake, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, povidone, and titanium dioxide.The chemical name of valacyclovir hydrochloride is L-valine, 2-[(2-amino-1,6-dihydro-6-oxo-9H-purin-9-yl)methoxy]ethyl ester, monohydrochloride. It has the following structural formula. Valacyclovir hydrochloride USP (hydrous) is a white or almost white powder with the molecular formula C13H20N6O4HCl and a molecular weight of 360.80. The maximum solubility in water at 25°C is 174 mg/mL. The pkas for valacyclovir hydrochloride are 1.90, 7.47, and 9.43."

"Description": "Tamsulosin hydrochloride is an antagonist of alpha1A adrenoceptors in the prostate. Tamsulosin hydrochloride is (-)-(R)-5-[2-[[2-(o-Ethoxyphenoxy) ethyl]amino]propyl]-2-methoxybenzenesulfonamide, monohydrochloride. Tamsulosin hydrochloride USP is a white or almost white crystalline powder that melts with decomposition at approximately 230°C. It is sparingly soluble in water and methanol, slightly soluble in glacial acetic acid and ethanol, and practically insoluble in ether. The molecular formula of tamsulosin hydrochloride is C20H28N2O5S HCl. The molecular weight of tamsulosin hydrochloride is 444.98. Its structural formula is. Each tamsulosin hydrochloride capsule, USP for oral administration contains tamsulosin hydrochloride USP 0.4 mg, and the following inactive ingredients: calcium stearate, FD&C Blue 2, gelatin, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, microcrystalline cellulose, methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate copolymer dispersion, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, triacetin, and titanium dioxide. The capsules are printed with SW-9008 Black Ink containing black iron oxide, butyl alcohol, dehydrated alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, shellac, and strong ammonia solution. "IndicationAndUsage": "Zolpidem tartrate tablets are indicated for the short-term treatment of insomnia characterized by difficulties with sleep initiation. Zolpidem tartrate tablets have been shown to decrease sleep latency for up to 35 days in controlled clinical studies [see Clinical Studies (14)]. The clinical trials performed in support of efficacy were 4 to 5 weeks in duration with the final formal assessments of sleep latency performed at the end of treatment.",
"Description": "Zolpidem tartrate tablets, USP contains zolpidem tartrate, USP a gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) A receptor positive modulator of the imidazopyridine class. Zolpidem tartrate tablets, USP are available in 5 mg and 10 mg strength tablets for oral administration. Chemically, zolpidem tartrate, USP is N,N,6-Trimethyl-2-p-tolylimidazo[1,2-α]pyridine-3-acetamide L-(+)-tartrate. It has the following structure:. (C19H21N3O)2C4H6O6 M.W. 764.87. It is freely soluble in methanol, soluble in ethanol and water, and practically insoluble in chloroform and in dilute acid. The n-octanol/water partition coefficient is 13.4 at pH 7.4 and 1545 at pH 5.2. It has a single dissociation constant (pKa) of 4.0 ± 0.2 at 25°C in water. Each tablet, for oral administration, contains 50 mg of diclofenac potassium.
