"IndicationAndUsage": "Acne treatment. Directions. Clean skin througly before applying this product. Cover entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur , start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. "IndicationAndUsage": "OPANA ER is indicated for the relief of moderate to severe pain in patients requiring continuous, around-the-clock opioid treatment for an extended period of time. OPANA ER is not intended for use as a prn analgesic. OPANA ER is not indicated for pain in the immediate post-operative period (12-24 hours following surgery) for patients not previously taking opioids because of the risk of oversedation and respiratory depression requiring reversal with opioid antagonists. OPANA ER is not indicated for pain in the post-operative period if the pain is mild or not expected to persist for an extended period of time.",
"Description": "OPANA ER (oxymorphone hydrochloride) extended-release, is a semi-synthetic opioid analgesic supplied in 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, and 40 mg tablet strengths for oral administration. The tablet strength describes the amount of oxymorphone hydrochloride per tablet. The tablets contain the following inactive ingredients: hypromellose, iron oxide black, methylparaben, propylene glycol, silicified microcrystalline cellulose, sodium stearyl fumarate, TIMERx® -N, titanium dioxide, and triacetin. The 5 mg, 10 mg and 20 mg tablets also contain macrogol, and polysorbate 80. In addition, the 5 mg tablets contain iron oxide red. The 10 mg tablets contain FD and C yellow No. 6. The 20 mg tablets contain FD and C blue No. 1, FD and C yellow No. 6, and D and C yellow No. 10. The 40 mg tablets contain FD and C yellow No. 6, D and C yellow No. 10, and lactose monohydrate. Chemically, oxymorphone hydrochloride is 4, 5α -epoxy-3, 14-dihydroxy-17-methylmorphinan-6-one hydrochloride, a white or slightly off-white, odorless powder, which is sparingly soluble in alcohol and ether, but freely soluble in water. The molecular weight of oxymorphone hydrochloride is 337.80. The pKa1 and pKa2 of oxymorphone at 37°C are 8.17 and 9.54, respectively. The octanol/aqueous partition coefficient at 37°C and pH 7.4 is 0.98. The structural formula for oxymorphone hydrochloride is as follows. The tablet strengths, 5, 10, 20 and 40 mg, describe the amount of oxymorphone hydrochloride per tablet."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Glimepiride tablets are indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. (See DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION section).",
"Description": "Glimepiride tablets USP, are an oral blood-glucose-lowering drug of the sulfonylurea class. Glimepiride is a white to yellowish-white, crystalline, odorless to practically odorless powder formulated into tablets of 1 mg, 2 mg, and 4 mg strengths for oral administration. Glimepiride tablets contain the active ingredient glimepiride and the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone and sodium starch glycolate. In addition, glimepiride 1 mg tablets contain ferric oxide red, glimepiride 2 mg tablets contain lake blend green (contains D&C yellow # 10 aluminium lake and FD&C blue #1/ brilliant blue FCF aluminium lake) and glimepiride 4 mg tablets contain lake blend blue (contains D&C yellow # 10 aluminium lake and FD&C blue # 1/ brilliant blue FCF aluminium lake). Chemically, glimepiride is identified as 1-[[p-[2-(3-ethyl-4-methyl-2-oxo-3-pyrroline-1- carboxamido)ethyl]phenyl]sulfonyl]-3-(trans-4-methylcyclohexyl)urea. The CAS Registry Number is 93479-97-1. The structural formula is. Molecular Formula: C24H34N4O5S. Molecular Weight: 490.62. Glimepiride is practically insoluble in water."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Valsartan tablet is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) indicated for: Treatment of hypertension,to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions ( 1.1) Treatment of heart failure (NYHA class II to IV);valsartan tablets significantly reduced hospitalization for heart failure ( 1.2) Post-myocardial infarction:for the reduction of cardiovascular mortality in clinically stable patients with left ventricular failure or left ventricular dysfunction following myocardial infrarction ( 1.3).",
"Description": "Valsartan, USP is a nonpeptide, orally active, and specific angiotensin II receptor blocker acting on the AT 1receptor subtype. Valsartan, USP is chemically described as L-valine, N-(1-oxopentyl)-N-[[2'-(1H-tetrazol-5-yl) [1,1'-biphenyl]-4-yl]methyl]-. Its empirical formula is C 24H 29N 5O 3, its molecular weight is 435.52, and its structural formula is. Valsartan, USP is a white to an off-white powder. It is soluble in ethanol and methanol and insoluble in water. Valsartan is available as tablets for oral administration, containing 40 mg, 80 mg, 160 mg or 320 mg of valsartan. The inactive ingredients of the tablets are croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, povidone, and titanium dioxide. In addition to this 40 mg contains iron oxide yellow, 80 mg contains iron oxide red, 160 mg contains iron oxides (yellow and red) and 320 mg contains iron oxides (yellow, red and black). Meets USP dissolution test 2."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Sildenafil tablets are indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.",
"Description": "Sildenafil tablets USP, an oral therapy for erectile dysfunction, is the citrate salt of sildenafil, a selective inhibitor of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP)-specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5). Sildenafil citrate, USP is designated chemically as 1-[[3-(6,7-dihydro-1-methyl-7-oxo-3-propyl-1 H-pyrazolo[4,3- d]pyrimidin-5-yl)-4-ethoxyphenyl]sulfonyl]-4-methylpiperazine citrate and has the following structural formula:. C 22H 30N 6O 4SC 6H 8O 7 M.W. 666.7. Sildenafil citrate, USP is a white to off-white crystalline powder with a solubility of 3.5 mg/mL in water. Sildenafil citrate, USP is formulated as white to off-white, film-coated, modified oval-shaped, convex tablets equivalent to 25 mg, 50 mg and 100 mg of sildenafil for oral administration. In addition to the active ingredient, sildenafil citrate, USP, each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, dibasic calcium phosphate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol – part. hydrolyzed, talc, and titanium dioxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Edema. Furosemide is indicated in adults and pediatric patients for the treatment of edema associated with congestive heart failure, cirrhosis of the liver and renal disease, including the nephrotic syndrome. Furosemide is particularly useful when an agent with greater diuretic potential is desired. Hypertension. Oral furosemide may be used in adults for the treatment of hypertension alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents. Hypertensive patients who cannot be adequately controlled with thiazides will probably also not be adequately controlled with furosemide alone.",

"IndicationAndUsage": "Benazepril hydrochloride tablets, USP are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. It may be used alone or in combination with thiazide diuretics.",
"Description": "Benazepril hydrochloride is a white to off-white crystalline powder, soluble (>100 mg/mL) in water, in ethanol, and in methanol. Its chemical name is benazepril 3-[[1-(ethoxy-carbonyl)-3-phenyl-(1S)-propyl]amino]-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-2-oxo-1H-1-(3S)-benzazepine-1-acetic acid monohydrochloride; its structural formula is. Its empirical formula is C 24H 28N 2O 5HCl and its molecular weight is 460.96. Benazeprilat, the active metabolite of benazepril, is a non-sulfhydryl angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor. Benazepril is converted to benazeprilat by hepatic cleavage of the ester group. Benazepril hydrochloride, USP is supplied as film-coated tablets containing 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, and 40 mg of benazepril hydrochloride for oral administration. The inactive ingredients are carnauba wax, colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polydextrose, polyethylene glycol, pregelatinized starch, titanium dioxide, and triacetin. The 10 mg tablet also contains FD&C Red No. 40 aluminum lake. The 20 mg tablet also contains black iron oxide and yellow iron oxide. The 40 mg tablet also contains FD&C Blue No. 2 aluminum lake. Benazepril hydrochloride tablets USP, 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg and 40 mg meet USP Dissolution Test 2."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Carefully consider the potential benefits and risks of nabumetone tablets and other treatment options before deciding to use nabumetone tablets. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration consistent with individual patient treatment goals (see WARNINGS). Nabumetone tablets, USP are indicated for relief of signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.",
"Description": "Nabumetone is a naphthylalkanone designated chemically as 4-(6-methoxy-2-naphthalenyl)-2-butanone. It has the following structure:. Nabumetone is a white to off-white crystalline substance. It is nonacidic and practically insoluble in water, but soluble in alcohol and most organic solvents. It has an n-octanol: phosphate buffer partition coefficient of 2,400 at pH 7.4. Each tablet, for oral administration, contains either 500 mg or 750 mg of nabumetone. In addition, each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, povidone, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium starch glycolate, titanium dioxide and triacetin. The 500 mg tablets also contain talc and the 750 mg tablets also contain iron oxide red."

"Description": "Duloxetine delayed-release capsules, USP are a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) for oral administration. Its chemical designation is (+)-(S )-N-methyl-γ-(1-naphthyloxy)-2-thiophenepropylamine hydrochloride. The empirical formula is C18H19NOS∙HCl, which corresponds to a molecular weight of 333.88. The structural formula is. Duloxetine hydrochloride is a white to slightly brownish white solid, which is slightly soluble in water. Each capsule contains enteric-coated pellets of 22.4, 33.7, 44.9 or 67.3 mg of duloxetine hydrochloride equivalent to 20, 30, 40 or 60 mg of duloxetine, respectively. These enteric-coated pellets are designed to prevent degradation of the drug in the acidic environment of the stomach. Inactive ingredients include ammonium hydroxide, black iron oxide, hypromellose, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion (methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer, polysorbate 80, sodium lauryl sulfate), potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, shellac, sucrose, sugar spheres (maize starch, sucrose), talc, titanium dioxide, triethylcitrate, and hard gelatin capsules (gelatin, titanium dioxide). The 20 mg hard gelatin capsule colorant is yellow iron oxide. The 30 mg hard gelatin capsule colorants are FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C Yellow No. 6, and FD&C Yellow No. 10. The 40 mg hard gelatin capsule colorants are FD&C Blue No. 2, red iron oxide, and yellow iron oxide. The 60 mg hard gelatin capsule colorants are FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C Yellow No. 6, FD&C Yellow No.10, and yellow iron oxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Dexlansoprazole delayed-release capsules are proton pump inhibitor (PPI) indicated in patients 12 years of age and older for: 1 Healing of all grades of erosive esophagitis (EE). ( 1.1) , 2 Maintenance of healed EE and relief of heartburn. ( 1.2) , 3 Treatment of symptomatic non-erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). ( 1.3) .",
"Description": "The active ingredient in dexlansoprazole delayed-release capsules, a proton pump inhibitor, is (+)-2-[( R)-{[3-methyl-4-(2,2,2-trifluoroethoxy)pyridin-2-yl] methyl} sulfinyl]- 1H-benzimidazole, a compound that inhibits gastric acid secretion. Dexlansoprazole is the R-enantiomer of lansoprazole (a racemic mixture of the R- and S-enantiomers). Its empirical formula is: C 16H 14F 3N 3O 2S, with a molecular weight of 369.36. Dexlansoprazole has the following chemical structure. Dexlansoprazole is a white to nearly white crystalline powder which melts with decomposition at 140°C. Dexlansoprazole is freely soluble in dimethylformamide, methanol, dichloromethane, ethanol, and ethyl acetate; and soluble in acetonitrile; slightly soluble in ether; and very slightly soluble in water; and practically insoluble in hexane. Dexlansoprazole is stable when exposed to light. Dexlansoprazole is more stable in neutral and alkaline conditions than acidic conditions. Dexlansoprazole is supplied for oral administration as a dual delayed-release formulation in capsules. The capsules contain dexlansoprazole in a mixture of two types of enteric-coated granules with different pH-dependent dissolution profiles [see Clinical Pharmacology (12.3)] . Dexlansoprazole delayed-release capsules are available in two dosage strengths: 30 and 60 mg, per capsule. Each capsule contains enteric-coated granules consisting of dexlansoprazole (active ingredient) and the following inactive ingredients: sugar spheres, hypromellose, sucrose, sodium hydroxide, magnesium carbonate, titanium dioxide, methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate copolymer dispersion, triethyl citrate, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80 and talc. The components of the capsule shell include the following inactive ingredients: FDA/E172 Black iron oxide, titanium dioxide, hypromellose, and FD&C Blue #1. The black imprinting ink contains: shellac, black iron oxide, FD&C Blue #2, FD&C Red #40, FD&C Blue #1, and D&C Yellow #10."

"Description": "Pregabalin is described chemically as (S)-3-(aminomethyl)-5-methylhexanoic acid. The molecular formula is C8H17NO2 and the molecular weight is 159.23. The chemical structure of pregabalin is. Pregabalin is a white to off-white, crystalline solid with a pKa1 of 4.2 and a pKa2 of 10.6. It is freely soluble in water and both basic and acidic aqueous solutions. The log of the partition coefficient (n-octanol/0.05M phosphate buffer) at pH 7.4 is – 1.35. LYRICA (pregabalin) Capsules are administered orally and are supplied as imprinted hard-shell capsules containing 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 225, and 300 mg of pregabalin, along with lactose monohydrate, cornstarch, and talc as inactive ingredients. The capsule shells contain gelatin and titanium dioxide. In addition, the orange capsule shells contain red iron oxide and the white capsule shells contain sodium lauryl sulfate and colloidal silicon dioxide. Colloidal silicon dioxide is a manufacturing aid that may or may not be present in the capsule shells. The imprinting ink contains shellac, black iron oxide, propylene glycol, and potassium hydroxide. LYRICA (pregabalin) oral solution, 20 mg/mL, is administered orally and is supplied as a clear, colorless solution contained in a 16 fluid ounce white HDPE bottle with a polyethylene-lined closure. The oral solution contains 20 mg/mL of pregabalin, along with methylparaben, propylparaben, monobasic sodium phosphate anhydrous, dibasic sodium phosphate anhydrous, sucralose, artificial strawberry #11545 and purified water as inactive ingredients."

"Description": "The active ingredient in omeprazole delayed-release capsules, USP is a substituted benzimidazole, 5-methoxy-2-[[(4-methoxy-3, 5-dimethyl-2-pyridinyl) methyl] sulfinyl]-1H-benzimidazole, a compound that inhibits gastric acid secretion. Its empirical formula is C 17H 19N 3O 3S, with a molecular weight of 345.42. The structural formula is:. Omeprazole USP is a white to off-white powder. Melts between 150°C and 160°C with decomposition. It is soluble in dichloromethane, sparingly soluble in methanol and in alcohol and very slightly soluble in water. Omeprazole USP is supplied as delayed-release capsules for oral administration. "Description": "Methocarbamol Tablets, USP, a carbamate derivative of guaifenesin, are a central nervous system (CNS) depressant with sedative and musculoskeletal relaxant properties. The structural formula is. The chemical name for Methocarbamol is 3-(2-Methoxyphenoxy)-1,2-propanediol 1-carbamate and has the empirical formula C11H15NO5. Its molecular weight is 241.24. Methocarbamol is a white powder, sparingly soluble in water and chloroform, soluble in alcohol (only with heating) and propylene glycol, and insoluble in benzene and n-hexane. Each tablet, for oral administration, contains 500 mg or 750 mg of methocarbamol, USP. In addition each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: Colloidal Silicon Dioxide, Lactose Monohydrate, Magnesium Stearate, Methylcellulose, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Pregelatinized Starch and Sodium Starch Glycolate."
