"Description": "Doxycycline is an antibacterial drug synthetically derived from oxytetracycline, and is available as Doxycycline Hyclate Capsules and Tablets for oral administration. The structural formula of doxycycline monohydrate is. with a molecular formula of C22H24N2O8∙H2O and a molecular weight of 462.46. The chemical designation for doxycycline is 4-(Dimethylamino)-1,4,4a,5,5a,6,11,12a-octahydro-3,5,10,12,12a- pentahydroxy-6-methyl-1,11-dioxo-2-naphthacenecarboxamide monohydrate. The molecular formula for doxycycline hydrochloride hemiethanolate hemihydrate is (C22H24N2O8∙HCl)2 ∙C2H6O∙H2O and the molecular weight is 1025.89. Doxycycline is a light-yellow crystalline powder. Doxycycline hyclate is soluble in water, while doxycycline monohydrate is very slightly soluble in water. Doxycycline has a high degree of lipoid solubility and a low affinity for calcium binding. It is highly stable in normal human serum. Doxycycline will not degrade into an epianhydro form. Each capsule for oral administration contains doxycycline hyclate equivalent to 50 mg or 100 mg of doxycycline (anhydrous). Inactive ingredients are: Colloidal Silicon Dioxide, Lactose Anhydrous, Magnesium Stearate, Methylcellulose, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Polyethylene Glycol, Sodium Starch Glycolate, and Stearic Acid. 50 mg gelatin capsule shell contains: FD&C Blue #1, D&C Yellow #10, and other inert ingredients. 100 mg gelatin capsule shell contains: FD&C Blue #1 and other inert ingredients. Each tablet, for oral administration, contains doxycycline hyclate equivalent to 100 mg doxycycline. In addition, each tablet contains the following Inactive ingredients; anhydrous lactose, colloidal silicon dioxide, FD&C Red No. 40, FD&C Yellow No. 6, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, methylcellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, sodium starch glycolate, stearic acid, and titanium dioxide."

<IndicationAndUsage>To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain effectiveness of Doxycycline Hyclate Capsules & Doxycycline Hyclate Tablets and other antibacterial drugs, Doxycycline Hyclate Capsules & Doxycycline Hyclate Tablets should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. When culture and susceptibility information are available, they should be considered in selecting or modifying antibacterial therapy. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Doxycycline is an antibacterial drug synthetically derived from oxytetracycline, and is available as Doxycycline Hyclate Capsules and Tablets for oral administration. 6, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, methylcellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, sodium starch glycolate, stearic acid, and titanium dioxide.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>Vancomycin hydrochloride capsule is indicated for the treatment of Clostridioides difficile-associated diarrhea. Vancomycin hydrochloride capsule is also used for the treatment of enterocolitis caused by Staphylococcus aureus (including methicillin-resistant strains) in adult and pediatric patients less than 18 years of age. Limitations of Use Parenteral administration of vancomycin is not effective for the above infections; therefore, vancomycin hydrochloride capsule must be given orally for these infections. Orally administered vancomycin hydrochloride capsule is not effective for other types of infections. To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of vancomycin hydrochloride capsule and other antibacterial drugs, vancomycin hydrochloride capsule should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. When culture and susceptibility information are available, they should be considered in selecting or modifying antibacterial therapy. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy.</IndicationAndUsage>

<IndicationAndUsage>A. Sedative B. Anticonvulsant - For the treatment of generalized and partial seizures.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>The barbiturates are nonselective central nervous system (CNS) depressants that are primarily used as sedative-hypnotics. In subhypnotic doses, they are also used as anticonvulsants. The barbiturates and their sodium salts are subject to control under the Federal Controlled Substances Act. Phenobarbital is a barbituric acid derivative and occurs as white, odorless, small crystals or crystalline powder that is very slightly soluble in water; soluble in alcohol, in ether, and in solutions of fixed alkali hydroxides and carbonates; sparingly soluble in chloroform. Phenobarbital is 5-ethyl-5-phenylbarbituric acid and has the empirical formula C12H12N2O3. Its molecular weight is 232.24. It has the following structural formula. Phenobarbital is a substituted pyrimidine derivative in which the basic structure is barbituric acid, a substance that has no CNS activity. CNS activity is obtained by substituting alkyl, alkenyl, or aryl groups on the pyrimidine ring. Each 5 mL (teaspoon) contains 20 mg Phenobarbital and Alcohol 14.25%. The oral solution also contains FD&C Red #40, glycerin, natural and artificial orange flavor, propylene glycol, benzyl alcohol, natural flavor, tocopherol, vegetable oil, purified water, and sucrose.</Description>
