"IndicationAndUsage": "Oxiconazole nitrate cream is indicated for the topical treatment of the following dermal infections: tinea pedis, tinea cruris, and tinea corporis due to Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, or Epidermophyton floccosum. Oxiconazole nitrate cream is indicated for the topical treatment of tinea (pityriasis) versicolor due to Malassezia furfur (see DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION and CLINICAL STUDIES). Chemically, oxiconazole nitrate is 2´,4´-dichloro-2-imidazol-1-ylacetophenone (Z)-[0-(2,4-dichlorobenzyl)oxime], mononitrate. The compound has the molecular formula C18H13ON3CI4HNO3, a molecular weight of 492.15, and the following structural formula. Oxiconazole nitrate is a nearly white crystalline powder, soluble in methanol; sparingly soluble in ethanol, chloroform, and acetone; and very slightly soluble in water. Oxiconazole nitrate cream contains 10 mg of oxiconazole per gram of cream in a white to off-white, opaque cream base of purified water USP, white petrolatum USP, stearyl alcohol NF, propylene glycol USP, polysorbate 60 NF, cetyl alcohol NF, and benzoic acid USP, 0.2% as a preservative."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Pregabalin capsules are indicated for: 1 Management of neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy, 2 Management of postherpetic neuralgia, 3 Adjunctive therapy for the treatment of partial-onset seizures in patients 1 month of age and older, 4 Management of fibromyalgia, 5 Management of neuropathic pain associated with spinal cord injury.",
"Description": "Pregabalin USP is described chemically as (S)-3-(aminomethyl)-5-methylhexanoic acid. The molecular formula is C8H17NO2 and the molecular weight is 159.23. The chemical structure of pregabalin is. Pregabalin USP is a white to off-white, crystalline solid with a pKa1 of 4.2 and a pKa2 of 10.6. It is freely soluble in water and both basic and acidic aqueous solutions. The log of the partition coefficient (n-octanol/0.05M phosphate buffer) at pH 7.4 is – 1.35. Pregabalin capsules are administered orally and are supplied as imprinted hard-shell capsules containing 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 225 and 300 mg of pregabalin USP, along with corn starch, pregelatinized starch (corn) and talc as inactive ingredients. The capsule shells contain gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate and titanium dioxide. In addition, the orange capsule shells (In 75, 100, 200, 225 and 300mg) contain red iron oxide. The imprinting ink contains black iron oxide, propylene glycol, potassium hydroxide and shellac."

"IndicationAndUsage": "For the relief of symptoms of depression. Endogenous depression is more likely to be alleviated than are other depressive states.",
"Description": "Amitriptyline HCl is 3-(10,11-dihydro-5H-dibenzo [a,d] cycloheptene-5-ylidene)-N,N-dimethyl-1-propanamine hydrochloride. Its empirical formula is C20H23NHCl, and its structural formula is. Amitriptyline HCl, a dibenzocycloheptadiene derivative, has a molecular weight of 313.87. It is a white, odorless, crystalline compound which is freely soluble in water. Amitriptyline HCl is supplied as 10 mg, 25 mg, 50 mg, 75 mg, 100 mg or 150 mg tablets. Each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate, sodium starch glycolate and titanium dioxide. The 10 mg tablets also contain FD&C blue #1 lake. The 25 mg tablets also contain D&C yellow #10 lake and FD&C blue #2 lake. The 50 mg tablets also contain synthetic black iron oxide, synthetic red iron oxide and synthetic yellow iron oxide. The 75 mg tablets also contain FD&C yellow #6 lake. The 100 mg tablets also contain D&C red #33 lake and FD&C red #40 lake. The 150 mg tablets also contain FD&C blue #2 lake and FD&C yellow #6 lake."

"Description": "Asenapine sublingual tablets contain asenapine maleate which is an atypical antipsychotic that is available for sublingual administration. Asenapine belongs to the class dibenzo-oxepino pyrroles. The chemical designation is (3aRS,12bRS)-5-Chloro-2-methyl-2,3,3a,12b-tetrahydro-1Hdibenzo[2,3:6,7]oxepino[4,5-c]pyrrole (2Z)-2-butenedioate (1:1). Its molecular formula is C17H16ClNO∙C4H4O4 and its molecular weight is 401.84 (free base: 285.8). The chemical structure is. Asenapine maleate is a white to off-white powder. Asenapine sublingual tablets (Unflavored) are supplied for sublingual administration in tablets containing 5 mg or 10 mg asenapine; inactive ingredients include aspartame, colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, low substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate and povidone. Asenapine sublingual tablets, black cherry flavor, are supplied for sublingual administration in tablets containing 2.5 mg, 5 mg or 10 mg asenapine; inactive ingredients include aspartame, colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, low substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate and povidone and black cherry flavor (components are nature identical flavorings, natural flavoring substances, natural flavoring complexes, maize maltodextrin and moisture)."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Tamsulosin hydrochloride capsules are indicated for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) [see Clinical Studies (14)]. Tamsulosin hydrochloride capsules are not indicated for the treatment of hypertension.",
"Description": "Tamsulosin hydrochloride is an antagonist of alpha1A adrenoceptors in the prostate.Tamsulosin hydrochloride is (-)-(R)-5-[2-[[2-(o-Ethoxyphenoxy) ethyl]amino]propyl]-2-methoxybenzenesulfonamide, monohydrochloride. Tamsulosin hydrochloride USP is a white or almost white crystalline powder that melts with decomposition at approximately 230°C. It is sparingly soluble in water and methanol, slightly soluble in glacial acetic acid and ethanol, and practically insoluble in ether.The molecular formula of tamsulosin hydrochloride is C20H28N2O5S HCl. The molecular weight of tamsulosin hydrochloride is 444.98. Its structural formula is:Each tamsulosin hydrochloride capsule, USP for oral administration contains tamsulosin hydrochloride USP 0.4 mg, and the following inactive ingredients: calcium stearate, FD&C Blue 2, gelatin, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, microcrystalline cellulose, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, triacetin, and titanium dioxide. The capsules are printed with SW-9008 Black Ink containing black iron oxide, butyl alcohol, dehydrated alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, shellac, and strong ammonia solution.Meets USP dissolution test 10."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Postherpetic Neuralgia. Gabapentin is indicated for the management of postherpetic neuralgia in adults. Epilepsy. Gabapentin is indicated as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of partial seizures with and without secondary generalization in patients over 12 years of age with epilepsy. Gabapentin is also indicated as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of partial seizures in pediatric patients age 3 to 12 years.",
"Description": "Gabapentin capsules, USP are supplied as imprinted hard shell capsules containing 100 mg, 300 mg, and 400 mg of gabapentin. The inactive ingredients are: black iron oxide, corn starch, D&C Yellow #10 aluminum lake, FD&C blue #1 aluminum lake, FD&C blue #2 aluminum lake, FD&C red #40 aluminum lake, gelatin, mannitol, pharmaceutical glaze, propylene glycol, red iron oxide T3469, silicon dioxide, sodium lauryl sulfate, synthetic black iron oxide, talc, titanium dioxide, and yellow iron oxide T3506. Gabapentin, USP is described as 1-(aminomethyl)cyclohexaneacetic acid with a molecular formula of C9H17NO2 and a molecular weight of 171.24. The structural formula of gabapentin is. Gabapentin is a white to off-white crystalline solid with a pKa1 of 3.7 and a pKa2 of 10.7. It is freely soluble in water and both basic and acidic aqueous solutions. The log of the partition coefficient (n-octanol/0.05M phosphate buffer) at pH 7.4 is -1.25."

"Description": "Duloxetine hydrochloride USP is a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SSNRI) for oral administration. Its chemical designation is (+)-(S)-N-methyl-γ-(1-naphthyloxy)-2-thiophenepropylamine hydrochloride. The molecular formula is C18H19NOSHCl, which corresponds to a molecular weight of 333.88. The structural formula is. Duloxetine hydrochloride USP is a white to brownish-white solid, which is slightly soluble in water. Each capsule contains enteric-coated pellets of 22.4, 33.7, 44.9 or 67.3 mg of duloxetine hydrochloride USP equivalent to 20, 30, 40, or 60 mg of duloxetine, respectively. These enteric-coated pellets are designed to prevent degradation of the drug in the acidic environment of the stomach. Inactive ingredients include sugar spheres, hypromellose, sucrose, talc, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion, and triethyl citrate. The capsule shell contains gelatin, FD&C Red No. 3 (40 mg), FD&C Blue No. 1 (40 mg), FD&C Blue No. 2 (20 mg, 30 mg, 60 mg), titanium dioxide, and sodium lauryl sulfate. For 20 mg, 30 mg, 40 mg (body & cap) and 60 mg (body only) strengths, imprinting black ink contains shellac, dehydrated alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, strong ammonia solution, black iron oxide, potassium hydroxide and purified water. For 60 mg (cap only) strength, imprinting white ink contains shellac, dehydrated alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, strong ammonia solution, purified water, potassium hydroxide, and titanium dioxide. "IndicationAndUsage": "Baclofen tablets, USP are useful for the alleviation of signs and symptoms of spasticity resulting from multiple sclerosis, particularly for the relief of flexor spasms and concomitant pain, clonus, and muscular rigidity. Patients should have reversible spasticity so that baclofen treatment will aid in restoring residual function. Baclofen tablets, USP may also be of some value in patients with spinal cord injuries and other spinal cord diseases. Baclofen tablets, USP are not indicated in the treatment of skeletal muscle spasm resulting from rheumatic disorders. The efficacy of baclofen in stroke, cerebral palsy, and Parkinson's disease has not been established and, therefore, it is not recommended for these conditions.",
"Description": "Baclofen, USP is a muscle relaxant and antispastic. Its chemical name is 4-amino-3-(4-chlorophenyl)-butanoic acid. The structural formula is. C 10H 12ClNO 2M.W. 213.66. Baclofen, USP is a white to off-white odorless or practically odorless crystalline powder. It is slightly soluble in water, very slightly soluble in methanol and insoluble in chloroform. Each tablet, for oral administration, contains 5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg or 20 mg baclofen, USP. In addition, each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Pregelatinized Starch, Sodium Starch Glycolate, Colloidal Silicon dioxide and Magnesium Stearate."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Clonazepam is useful alone or as an adjunct in the treatment of the Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (petit mal variant), akinetic, and myoclonic seizures. In patients with absence seizures (petit mal) who have failed to respond to succinimides, clonazepam may be useful. Some loss of effect may occur during the course of clonazepam treatment (see PRECAUTIONS: Loss of Effect).",
"Description": "Clonazepam, a benzodiazepine, is available as scored tablets debossed with “1” and “2” containing 0.5 mg of clonazepam and unscored tablets debossed with “C 1” on 1 mg tablets and “C 2” on 2 mg tablets containing 1 mg or 2 mg of clonazepam. Each tablet contains anhydrous lactose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose and starch (corn), with the following colorants: 0.5 mg-FD&C Yellow No. 6 Lake and 1 mg- FD&C Blue No.2 Lake. Chemically, clonazepam is 5-(2-chlorophenyl)-1,3-dihydro-7-nitro-2 H-1,4-benzodiazepin-2-one. It is a light yellow crystalline powder. It has a molecular weight of 315.72 and the following structural formula:."

"Description": "Betamethasone Valerate Cream, Ointment and Lotion contain betamethasone valerate USP, a synthetic adrenocorticosteroid for dermatologic use. Betamethasone, an analog of prednisolone, has a high degree of glucocorticoid activity and a slight degree of mineralocorticoid activity. Betamethasone valerate is a white to practically white odorless crystalline powder practically insoluble in water, freely soluble in acetone and chloroform, soluble in alcohol, and slightly soluble in benzene and ether. Chemically, it is 9-fluoro-11β,17,21-trihydroxy-16β-methylpregna-1, 4-diene-3,20-dione 17-valerate. The structural formula is:. Each gram of the 0.1% Cream contains 1.2 mg betamethasone valerate (equivalent to 1 mg betamethasone) in a soft, white, hydrophilic cream of purified water, mineral oil, white petrolatum, polyoxyl 20 cetostearyl ether, cetostearyl alcohol, monobasic sodium phosphate and phosphoric acid or sodium hydroxide (to adjust pH, if required); chlorocresol is present as a preservative. Each gram of the 0.1% Ointment contains 1.2 mg betamethasone valerate (equivalent to 1 mg betamethasone) in an ointment base of white petrolatum and mineral oil. Each gram of the 0.1% Lotion contains 1.2 mg betamethasone valerate (equivalent to 1 mg betamethasone) in a vehicle of isopropyl alcohol and water slightly thickened with carbomer 934P. Sodium hydroxide is used to adjust pH."

"Description": "Nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream for dermatologic use contains the antifungal agent nystatin and the synthetic corticosteroid triamcinolone acetonide. Nystatin is a polyene antimycotic obtained from Streptomyces noursei. It is a yellow to light tan powder with a cereal-like odor, very slightly soluble in water, and slightly to sparingly soluble in alcohol. It has a molecular formula of C47H75NO17 and a molecular weight of 926.13. Structural formula. Triamcinolone acetonide is designated chemically as 9-fluoro-11β,16α,17, 21-tetrahydroxypregna-1,4-diene-3, 20-dione cyclic 16, 17-acetal with acetone. The white to cream crystalline powder has a slight odor, is practically insoluble in water, and very soluble in alcohol. It has a molecular formula of C24H31FO6 and a molecular weight of 434.50. Structural formula:. Nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream is a soft, smooth cream having a light yellow to tan color.
