"IndicationAndUsage": "Tizanidine tablets are a short-acting drug for the management of spasticity. Because of the short duration of effect, treatment with tizanidine should be reserved for those daily activities and times when relief of spasticity is most important (see DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION).",
"Description": "Tizanidine hydrochloride USP, is a centrally acting α2-adrenergic agonist. Tizanidine HCl USP (tizanidine) is a white to off-white, fine crystalline powder, which is odorless or with a faint characteristic odor. Tizanidine is slightly soluble in water and methanol; solubility in water decreases as the pH increases. Its chemical name is 5-chloro-4-(2-imidazolin-2-ylamino)-2,1,3-benzothiodiazole hydrochloride. Tizanidine’s molecular formula is C9H8ClN5S.HCl, its molecular weight is 290.2 and its structural formula is."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Cephalexin is a cephalosporin antibacterial drug indicated for the treatment of the following infections caused by susceptible isolates of designated bacteria. To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of cephalexin and other antibacterial drugs, Cephalexin should be used only to treat infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by bacteria. (1.6).",
"Description": "Cephalexin capsules, USP is a semisynthetic cephalosporin antibacterial drug intended for oral administration. It is 7-(D-α-Amino-α-phenylacetamido)-3-methyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid monohydrate. Cephalexin has the molecular formula C16H17N3O4SH2O and the molecular weight is 365.41.Cephalexin has the following structural formula. Each capsule contains cephalexin monohydrate equivalent to 250 mg, 333 mg, 500 mg, or 750 mg of cephalexin. The 250 mg, 333 mg, 500 mg and 750 mg capsules contain anhydrous lactose, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, FD & C Blue No. 1, D & C Yellow No. 10, gelatin, sodium lauryl sulphate, titanium dioxide. In addition, the 250 mg capsule contains FD & C Red No. 40; 333 mg and 750 mg Capsules contains FD & C Yellow No. 6. The imprinting ink contains; shellac, propylene glycol, strong ammonia solution and potassium hydroxide. Also black Iron oxide is used in 250mg, 333mg and 500mg and titanium dioxide is used in 750mg."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Gabapentin capsules are indicated for: : 1 Management of postherpetic neuralgia in adults , 2 Adjunctive therapy in the treatment of partial onset seizures, with and without secondary generalization, in adults and pediatric patients 3 years and older with epilepsy .",
"Description": "The active ingredient in gabapentin capsule, USP is gabapentin, USP, which has the chemical name 1-(aminomethyl)cyclohexaneacetic acid. The molecular formula of gabapentin is C9H17NO2 and the molecular weight is 171.24 g/mol. The structural formula of gabapentin is. Gabapentin, USP is a white to off-white crystalline solid with a pKa1 of 3.7 and a pKa2 of 10.7. It is freely soluble in water and both basic and acidic aqueous solutions. The log of the partition coefficient (n-octanol/0.05M phosphate buffer) at pH 7.4 is –1.25. Each gabapentin capsule, USP contains 100 mg, 300 mg, or 400 mg of gabapentin, USP and the following inactive ingredients: magnesium stearate, pregelatinized starch (corn), starch (corn) and talc. The 100 mg capsule shell contains gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate and titanium dioxide. The 300 mg capsule shell contains gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate, titanium dioxide, and iron oxide yellow. The 400 mg capsule shell contains gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate, titanium dioxide, FD&C Yellow No.6 and FD&C Blue No.1."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Ropinirole hydrochloride is a non-ergoline dopamine agonist indicated for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease (PD) and moderate-to-severe primary Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) (1.1, 1.2).",
"Description": "Ropinirole hydrochloride tablets contain ropinirole, a non-ergoline dopamine agonist, as the hydrochloride salt. The chemical name of ropinirole hydrochloride is 4-[2-(dipropylamino)ethyl]-1,3-dihydro-2H-indol-2-one and the empirical formula is C16H24N2OHCl. The molecular weight is 296.84 (260.38 as the free base). The structural formula is. Ropinirole hydrochloride is a white to yellow solid with a melting range of 243° to 250°C and a solubility of 133 mg/mL in water. Each round biconvex film-coated ropinirole hydrochloride tablet contains 0.29 mg, 0.57 mg, 1.14 mg, 2.28 mg, 3.42 mg, 4.56 mg, or 5.70 mg ropinirole hydrochloride equivalent to ropinirole, 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 2 mg, 3 mg, 4 mg, or 5 mg. Inactive ingredients of the core tablets consist of croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropyl cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose. Inactive ingredients of the film coats are slightly different among the 7 strengths of tablets and are tabulated below. USP dissolution test is pending."

"Description": "Ropinirole hydrochloride tablets contain ropinirole, a non-ergoline dopamine agonist, as the hydrochloride salt. The chemical name of ropinirole hydrochloride is 4-[2-(dipropylamino)ethyl]-1,3-dihydro-2H-indol-2-one and the empirical formula is C16H24N2OHCl. The molecular weight is 296.84 (260.38 as the free base). The structural formula is. Ropinirole hydrochloride is a white to yellow solid with a melting range of 243° to 250°C and a solubility of 133 mg/mL in water. Each round biconvex film-coated ropinirole hydrochloride tablet contains 0.29 mg, 0.57 mg, 1.14 mg, 2.28 mg, 3.42 mg, 4.56 mg, or 5.70 mg ropinirole hydrochloride equivalent to ropinirole, 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 2 mg, 3 mg, 4 mg, or 5 mg. Inactive ingredients of the core tablets consist of croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropyl cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose. Inactive ingredients of the film coats are slightly different among the 7 strengths of tablets and are tabulated below. USP dissolution test is pending."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Doxepin Hydrochloride Capsules, USP are recommended for the treatment of: 1 1.Psychoneurotic patients with depression and/or anxiety., 2 2.Depression and/or anxiety associated with alcoholism (not to be taken concomitantly with alcohol)., 3 3.Depression and/or anxiety associated with organic disease (the possibility of drug interaction should be considered if the patient is receiving other drugs concomitantly)., 4 4.Psychotic depressive disorders with associated anxiety including involutional depression and manic-depressive disorders.",
"Description": "Doxepin hydrochloride is one of a class of psychotherapeutic agents known as dibenzoxepin tricyclic compounds. The molecular formula of the compound is C19H21NO HCl having a molecular weight of 315.84. It is a white crystalline powder freely soluble in water, in ethanol (96%), and methylene chloride. It may be represented by the following structural formula. Chemically, doxepin hydrochloride is a dibenzoxepin derivative and is the first of a family of tricyclic psychotherapeutic agents. Specifically, it is an isomeric mixture of 1-Propanamine, 3-dibenz[b,e]oxepin-11 (6H)ylidene-N,N-dimethyl-hydrochloride. Each 10 mg, 25 mg, 50 mg, 75 mg and 100 mg doxepin capsule for oral administration contains doxepin hydrochloride, USP equivalent to 10 mg, 25 mg, 50 mg, 75 mg and 100 mg of doxepin, respectively and the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch (corn) and sodium lauryl sulfate. The empty gelatin capsule shells contain D&C Yellow No. 10, gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate and titanium dioxide. In addition, the 10 mg, 25 mg and 50 mg empty gelatin capsule shells contain FD&C Yellow No. 6 and the 75 mg and 100 mg empty gelatin capsule shells contain FD&C Green No. 3. The imprinting ink contains black iron oxide, D&C Yellow No. 10 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Blue No. 1 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Blue No. 2 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Red No. 40 Aluminum Lake, propylene glycol and shellac glaze."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Ropinirole Tablets USP are indicated for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of idiopathic Parkinson’s disease. The effectiveness of ropinirole was demonstrated in randomized, controlled trials in patients with early Parkinson’s disease who were not receiving concomitant L-dopa therapy as well as in patients with advanced disease on concomitant L-dopa (see CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY: Clinical Trials ).",
