"IndicationAndUsage": "Sterile Water for Injection, USP is indicated in the aseptic preparation of parenteral admixtures.",
"Description": "Sterile Water for Injection, USP is sterile, nonpyrogenic, distilled water in a Pharmacy Bulk Package. A Pharmacy Bulk Package is a container of a sterile preparation for parenteral use that contains many single doses. The contents are intended for use in a pharmacy admixture program and are restricted to the preparation of admixtures for intravenous infusion. No antimicrobial or other substance has been added. pH 5.5 (5.0 to 7.0). Osmolarity O mOsmol/L (calc.). The VIAFLEX plastic container is fabricated from a specially formulated polyvinyl chloride (PL 146 Plastic). Exposure to temperatures above 25°C/77°F during transport and storage will lead to minor losses in moisture content. Higher temperatures lead to greater losses. It is unlikely that these minor losses will lead to clinically significant changes within the expiration period. The amount of water that can permeate from inside the container into the overwrap is insufficient to affect the solution significantly. Solutions in contact with the plastic container may leach out certain chemical components from the plastic in very small amounts; however, biological testing was supportive of the safety of the plastic container materials."

"IndicationAndUsage": "GAMMAGARD S/D is an Immune Globulin Intravenous (Human) indicated for: 1 Treatment of primary immunodeficiency (PI) in adults and pediatric patients two years of age or older. (1), 2 Prevention of bacterial infections in hypogammaglobulinemia and/or recurrent bacterial infections associated with B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). (1), 3 Prevention and/or control of bleeding in adult chronic idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) patients. (1), 4 Prevention of coronary artery aneurysms associated with Kawasaki syndrome in pediatric patients. (1).",
"Description": "GAMMAGARD S/D, Immune Globulin Intravenous (Human), IgA less than 1 µg/mL in a 5% Solution (IgA < 1 µg/mL), is GAMMAGARD S/D selected to have an IgA concentration of less than 1 µg/mL of IgA in a 5% solution. GAMMAGARD S/D is a solvent/detergent treated, sterile, freeze-dried preparation of purified immunoglobulin G (IgG) derived from large pools of human plasma. IgG preparations are purified from plasma pools using a modified Cohn-Oncley cold ethanol fractionation process, as well as cation and anion exchange chromatography steps. The distribution of IgG subclasses present in this product is similar to that in normal plasma. The Fc portion is maintained intact. When reconstituted with the total volume of diluent (Sterile Water for Injection, USP) supplied and reconstituted to 5% solution, the product contains approximately 50 mg/mL of protein, of which at least 90% is gamma globulin. GAMMAGARD S/D contains < 1 µg/mL of IgA in a 5% solution and IgM is present in trace amounts. GAMMAGARD S/D contains all of the IgG antibody activities which are present in the donor population. The product, after reconstituted to 5% solution, contains a physiological concentration of sodium chloride (approximately 8.5 mg/mL) and has a pH of 6.8 ± 0.4. Stabilizing agents and additional components are present in the following maximum amounts for a 5% solution: 3 mg/mL Albumin (Human), 22.5 mg/mL glycine, 20 mg/mL glucose, 2 mg/mL polyethylene glycol (PEG), 1 µg/mL tri-n-butyl phosphate, 1 µg/mL octoxynol 9, and 100 µg/mL polysorbate 80. GAMMAGARD S/D contains no preservative. To prepare a 10% (100 mg/mL) solution for infusion, add half the volume of diluent, as described in Dosage and Administration (2.1). The content of the stabilizing agents and other components, including IgA, for the 10% solution will be doubled compared to the 5% solution. Screening against potentially infectious agents in the product begins with the donor selection process and continues throughout plasma collection and plasma preparation. Each individual plasma donation used in the manufacture of GAMMAGARD S/D is collected only at FDA approved blood establishments and is tested by FDA licensed serological tests for hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), and for antibodies to human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1/HIV-2) and hepatitis C virus (HCV) in accordance with U.S. regulatory requirements. As an additional safety measure, mini-pools of the plasma are tested for the presence of HIV-1 and HCV by FDA licensed nucleic acid testing (NAT) and found negative. The manufacturing process includes treatment with an organic solvent/detergent mixture12,13, composed of tri-n-butyl phosphate, octoxynol 9 and polysorbate 80. The GAMMAGARD S/D manufacturing process provides for viral reduction in in vitro studies. These studies, summarized in Table 6 demonstrate virus clearance during GAMMAGARD S/D manufacturing using human immunodeficiency virus, Type 1 (HIV-1), as the relevant virus and model for HIV-2; bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV), a model virus for enveloped RNA viruses such as hepatitis C virus (HCV); pseudorabies virus (PRV), a generic model virus for enveloped DNA viruses such as hepatitis B virus (HBV); encephalomyocarditis virus (EMCV), a model for non-enveloped RNA viruses such as hepatitis A virus (HAV); HAV; and mice minute virus (MMV), a model for small non-enveloped DNA viruses such as human parvovirus B19 (B19V). These reductions are achieved through partitioning and inactivation during cold ethanol fractionation, and the solvent/detergent treatment."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Epinephrine in 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection is a non-selective alpha- and beta-adrenergic agonist indicated to increase mean arterial blood pressure in adult patients with hypotension associated with septic shock. (1.1).",
"Description": "Epinephrine in Sodium Chloride injection contains active moiety, Epinephrine, a sympathomimetic catecholamine (adrenergic agent) in the form of Bitartrate salt. The chemical name of Epinephrine Bitartrate, USP, is 1,2-Benzenediol, 4-[1-hydroxy-2-(methylamino)ethyl]-, (R)-,[R-(R*,R*)]-2,3-dihydroxybutanedioate (1:1) (salt). It is a white or greyish-white or light brownish-grey, odourless, crystalline powder, and slowly darkens on exposure to air and light. It has the following structural formula. The molecular weight of epinephrine bitartrate is 333.3 and molecular formula is C9H13NO3 C4H6O6. Epinephrine in 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection is a clear, colorless sterile solution for intravenous administration, available in two strengths 4 mg/250 mL (16 mcg/mL) and 16 mg/250 mL (64 mcg/mL). The lower strength contains 4 mg (16 mcg epinephrine base per mL which is equivalent to 29.1 mcg epinephrine bitartrate), and the higher strength contains 16 mg (64 mcg epinephrine base per mL which is equivalent to 116.4 mcg epinephrine bitartrate), in 250 mL VIAFLO bag. In 250 ml, each 1 mL of Epinephrine in 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection solution contains 0.032 mg edetate disodium, 9 mg sodium chloride, 0.05 mg sodium metabisulfite, water for injection, hydrochloric acid (q.s) and/or sodium hydroxide (q.s) to adjust pH range of 3.4 to 4.5. Epinephrine solution deteriorates rapidly on exposure to air or light, turning pink from oxidation to adrenochrome and brown from the formation of melanin. VIAFLO bag is a flexible plastic container fabricated from a multilayer sheeting composed of Polypropylene (PP), Polyamide (PA) and Polyethylene (PE). The amount of water that can permeate from the container into the overpouch is insufficient to affect the solution significantly. Solutions in contact with the flexible container can leach out certain of the container’s chemical components in very small amounts within the expiration period. The suitability of the container material has been confirmed by tests in animals according to USP biological tests for plastic containers."

<IndicationAndUsage>Sterile Water for Injection, USP is indicated in the aseptic preparation of parenteral admixtures.</IndicationAndUsage>

Sterile Water for Injection, USP is sterile, nonpyrogenic, distilled water in a Pharmacy Bulk Package. Solutions in contact with the plastic container may leach out certain chemical components from the plastic in very small amounts; however, biological testing was supportive of the safety of the plastic container materials.

<IndicationAndUsage>CLINOLIPID is indicated in adults and pediatric patients, including term and preterm neonates, as a source of calories and essential fatty acids for parenteral nutrition (PN) when oral or enteral nutrition is not possible, insufficient, or contraindicated.</IndicationAndUsage>

CLINOLIPID lipid injectable emulsion, USP is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, homogenous, white, milky lipid emulsion for intravenous infusion. The lipid content of CLINOLIPID is 0.2 g/mL and comprises a mixture of refined olive oil and refined soybean oil in an approximate ratio of 4:1 (olive:soy). The mean concentration of linoleic acid (an omega-6 essential fatty acid) is 35.8 mg/mL (range 27.6 to 44.0 mg/mL) and α-linolenic acid (an omega-3 essential fatty acid) is 4.7 mg/mL (range 1.0 to 8.4 mg/mL). The phospholipids provide 470 milligrams or 15 mmol of phosphorus per liter. The total energy content, including fat, phospholipids and glycerin is 2000 kcal/L. Each 100 mL of CLINOLIPID 20% contains approximately 16 g of Olive Oil NF and 4 g of Soybean Oil USP, 1.2 g Egg Phospholipids NF, 2.25 g Glycerin USP, 0.03 g Sodium Oleate, and Water for Injection USP. Sodium Hydroxide NF for pH adjustment, pH: 6.0 to 9.0. The olive and soybean oils are refined natural products consisting of a mixture of neutral triglycerides of predominantly unsaturated fatty acids with the following structure. The major component fatty acids are linoleic (13.8 to 22.0%), oleic (44.3 to 79.5%), palmitic (7.6 to 19.3%), linolenic (0.5 to 4.2%), palmitoleic (0.0 to 3.2%) and stearic (0.7 to 5.0%). These fatty acids have the following chemical and structural formulas. CLINOLIPID has an osmolality of approximately 340 mOsmol/kg water (which represents an osmolarity of 260 mOsmol/liter of emulsion). CLINOLIPID contains no more than 25 mcg/L of aluminum.

<IndicationAndUsage>GAMMAGARD S/D is an Immune Globulin Intravenous (Human) indicated for: 1 Treatment of primary immunodeficiency (PI) in adults and pediatric patients two years of age or older. (1).</IndicationAndUsage>

GAMMAGARD S/D, Immune Globulin Intravenous (Human), IgA less than 1 µg/mL in a 5% Solution (IgA < 1 µg/mL), is GAMMAGARD S/D selected to have an IgA concentration of less than 1 µg/mL of IgA in a 5% solution. These reductions are achieved through partitioning and inactivation during cold ethanol fractionation, and the solvent/detergent treatment.

<IndicationAndUsage>Epinephrine in 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection is a non-selective alpha- and beta-adrenergic agonist indicated to increase mean arterial blood pressure in adult patients with hypotension associated with septic shock. (1.1).</IndicationAndUsage>

Epinephrine in Sodium Chloride injection contains active moiety, Epinephrine, a sympathomimetic catecholamine (adrenergic agent) in the form of Bitartrate salt. The suitability of the container material has been confirmed by tests in animals according to USP biological tests for plastic containers.

<IndicationAndUsage>Dextrose and Sodium Chloride Injection is indicated as a source of water, electrolytes and calories.</IndicationAndUsage>

Dextrose and Sodium Chloride Injection, USP is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution for fluid and electrolyte replenishment and caloric supply in single-dose containers for intravenous administration. It contains no antimicrobial agents. Composition, osmolarity, pH, ionic concentration and caloric content are shown in Table 1. Dextrose is derived from corn. The VIAFLEX Plus plastic container is fabricated from a specially formulated polyvinyl chloride (PL 146 Plastic). The amount of water that can permeate from inside the container into the overwrap is insufficient to affect the solution significantly. Solutions in contact with the plastic container can leach out certain of its chemical components in very small amounts within the expiration period, e.g., di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP), up to 5 parts per million. However, the safety of the plastic has been confirmed in tests in animals according to USP biological tests for plastic containers as well as by tissue culture toxicity studies.
