"IndicationAndUsage": "Tricitrates SF Oral Solution is an effective alkalinizing agent useful in those conditions where long-term maintenance of an alkaline urine is desirable, such as in patients with uric acid and cystine calculi of the urinary tract. In addition, it is a valuable adjuvant when administered with uricosuric agents in gout therapy, since urates tend to crystallize out of an acid urine. It is also effective in correcting the acidosis of certain renal tubular disorders. This product is highly concentrated, and when administered after meals and before bedtime, allows one to maintain an alkaline urine pH around the clock, usually without the necessity of a 2 A.M. dose. This product alkalinizes the urine without producing a systemic alkalosis in recommended dosage. It is highly palatable, pleasant tasting, and tolerable, even when administered for long periods. Potassium citrate and sodium citrate do not neutralize the gastric juice or disturb digestion.",

MYCAMINE is a sterile, lyophilized product for intravenous (IV) infusion that contains micafungin sodium. Micafungin sodium is a semisynthetic lipopeptide (echinocandin) synthesized by a chemical modification of a fermentation product of Coleophoma empetri F-11899. Micafungin inhibits the synthesis of 1,3-beta-D-glucan, an integral component of the fungal cell wall. Each single-dose vial contains 50 mg micafungin (equivalent to 50.86 mg micafungin sodium) or 100 mg micafungin (equivalent to 101.73 mg micafungin sodium), 200 mg lactose monohydrate, with citric acid and/or sodium hydroxide (used for pH adjustment). MYCAMINE must be diluted with 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection, USP, or 5% Dextrose Injection, USP [see Dosage and Administration (2)]. Following reconstitution with 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection, USP, the resulting pH of the solution is between 5-7. Micafungin sodium is chemically designated as:. Pneumocandin A0,1-[(4R,5R)-4,5-dihydroxy-N2-[4-[5-[4-(pentyloxy) phenyl]-3-isoxazolyl]benzoyl]-L-ornithine]-4-[(4S)-4-hydroxy-4-[4-hydroxy-3-(sulfooxy)phenyl]-L-threonine]-, monosodium salt. The chemical structure of micafungin sodium is. The empirical/molecular formula is C56H70N9NaO23S and the formula weight is 1292.26. Micafungin sodium is a light-sensitive, hygroscopic white powder that is freely soluble in water, isotonic sodium chloride solution, N,N-dimethylformamide and dimethylsulfoxide, slightly soluble in methyl alcohol, and practically insoluble in acetonitrile, ethyl alcohol (95%), acetone, diethyl ether and n-hexane.

<IndicationAndUsage>Tricitrates SF Oral Solution is an effective alkalinizing agent useful in those conditions where long-term maintenance of an alkaline urine is desirable, such as in patients with uric acid and cystine calculi of the urinary tract. Potassium citrate and sodium citrate do not neutralize the gastric juice or disturb digestion.</IndicationAndUsage>

Tricitrates SF Oral Solution is a stable and pleasant-tasting oral systemic alkalizer containing potassium citrate, sodium citrate, and citric acid in a sugar-free, non-alcoholic base. Tricitrates SF Oral Solution contains in each teaspoonful (5 mL):. Each mL contains 1 mEq potassium ion and 1 mEq sodium ion and is equivalent to 2 mEq bicarbonate (HCO 3). Inactive Ingredients: FD&C Yellow No. 6, flavoring, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, purified water, sodium benzoate, and sorbitol solution.
