"IndicationAndUsage": "Metoprolol tartrate tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. They may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents.",
"Description": "Metoprolol tartrate is a selective beta1-adrenoreceptor blocking agent, available as 25 mg, 50 mg and 100 mg tablets for oral administration. Metoprolol tartrate is (±)-1-(isopropylamino)-3-[p-2-methoxyethyl)phenoxy]-2-propanol (2:1) dextro-tartrate salt. Its structural formula is. Metoprolol tartrate, USP is a white, practically odorless, crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 684.82. It is very soluble in water; freely soluble in methylene chloride, in chloroform, and in alcohol; slightly soluble in acetone; and insoluble in ether. Each tablet for oral administration contains 25 mg, 50 mg or 100 mg of metoprolol tartrate and the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous lactose, colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polydextrose, polyethylene glycol, povidone, sodium lauryl sulfate, titanium dioxide and triacetin. In addition, the 50 mg product contains FD&C Blue No. 2 Aluminum Lake, D&C Red No. 27 Aluminum Lake and FD&C Red No. 40 Aluminum Lake and the 100 mg product contains FD&C Blue No. 2 Aluminum Lake as coloring agents."

"Description": "Tretinoin Cream, USP a topical retinoid, contains tretinoin USP, 0.025% by weight in a hydrophilic cream vehicle of stearic acid, polyolprepolymer-2, isopropyl myristate, polyoxyl 40 stearate, propylene glycol, stearyl alcohol, xanthan gum, sorbic acid, butylated hydroxytoluene, and purified water. Chemically, tretinoin is all-trans-retinoic acid (C20H2802; molecular weight 300.44 vitamin A acid) and has the following structural formula."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Adapalene gel is indicated for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris in patients 12 years of age and older.",
"Description": "Adapalene gel, 0.3% contains adapalene (3 mg/g) in a topical aqueous gel for use in the treatment of acne vulgaris, consisting of carbomer 940, edetate disodium, methylparaben, poloxamer 182, propylene glycol, purified water, and sodium hydroxide. May contain hydrochloric acid for pH adjustment. The chemical name of adapalene is 6-[3-(1-adamantyl)-4-methoxyphenyl]-2-naphthoic acid. It is a white to off-white powder, which is soluble in tetrahydrofuran, very slightly soluble in ethanol, and practically insoluble in water. The molecular formula is C28H28O3 and molecular weight is 412.53. Adapalene is represented by the following structural formula."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Clotrimazole and betamethasone dipropionate cream is a combination of an azole antifungal and corticosteroid and is indicated for the topical treatment of symptomatic inflammatory tinea pedis, tinea cruris, and tinea corporis due to Epidermophyton floccosum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, and Trichophyton rubrum in patients 17 years and older.",
"Description": "Clotrimazole and betamethasone dipropionate cream USP, 1%/0.05% (base), contains combinations of clotrimazole, USP, an azole antifungal, and betamethasone dipropionate, USP, a corticosteroid, for topical use. Chemically, clotrimazole, USP is 1-(o-Chloro-α,α-diphenylbenzyl)imidazole, with the molecular formula C22H17ClN2, a molecular weight of 344.84, and the following structural formula. Clotrimazole, USP is an odorless, white crystalline powder, insoluble in water and soluble in ethanol. Betamethasone dipropionate, USP has 9-Fluoro-11β,17,21-trihydroxy-16β-methylpregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione 17,21-dipropionate, with the molecular formula C28H37FO7, a molecular weight of 504.59, and the following structural formula. Betamethasone dipropionate, USP is a white to creamy-white, odorless crystalline powder, insoluble in water. Each gram of clotrimazole and betamethasone dipropionate cream, USP contains 10 mg clotrimazole, USP and 0.64 mg betamethasone dipropionate, USP (equivalent to 0.5 mg betamethasone), in a white to off-white hydrophilic cream. Inactive ingredients: Ceteareth-25, cetyl alcohol, mineral oil, propylene glycol, purified water, sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, stearyl alcohol and white petrolatum; benzyl alcohol as preservative."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Betamethasone dipropionate cream is a medium-potency corticosteroid indicated for relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses in patients 13 years and older.",
"Description": "Betamethasone dipropionate cream contains betamethasone dipropionate, USP, a synthetic adrenocorticosteroid, for dermatologic use. Betamethasone, an analog of prednisolone, has high corticosteroid activity and slight mineral-ocorticoid activity. Betamethasone dipropionate is the 17,21-dipropionate ester of betamethasone. Chemically, betamethasone dipropionate is 9-Fluoro-11 β, 17,21-trihydroxy-16β-methylpregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione 17,21-dipropionate, with the empirical formula C28H37FO7, a molecular weight of 504.6, and the following structural formula. Betamethasone dipropionate is a white to creamy white, odorless crystalline powder, insoluble in water. Each gram of betamethasone dipropionate cream 0.05% contains: 0.64 mg betamethasone dipropionate USP (equivalent to 0.5 mg betamethasone) in a hydrophilic cream base consisting of purified water, mineral oil, white petrolatum, polyoxyl 20 cetostearyl ether, cetostearyl alcohol, monobasic sodium phosphate, propylene glycol, phosphoric acid and/or sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment and chlorocresol as a preservative."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Betamethasone dipropionate ointment is a high-potency corticosteroid indicated for relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses in patients 13 years and older.",
"Description": "Betamethasone dipropionate ointment contains betamethasone dipropionate, USP, a synthetic adrenocorticosteroid, for dermatologic use. Betamethasone, an analog of prednisolone, has high corticosteroid activity and slight mineralocorticoid activity. Betamethasone dipropionate is the 17, 21-dipropionate ester of betamethasone. Chemically, betamethasone dipropionate is 9-Fluoro-11 β, 17,21-trihydroxy-16β-methylpregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione 17,21-dipropionate, with the empirical formula C28H37FO7, a molecular weight of 504.6, and the following structural formula. Betamethasone dipropionate is a white to creamy white, odorless crystalline powder, insoluble in water. Each gram of betamethasone dipropionate ointment 0.05% contains: 0.64 mg betamethasone dipropionate, USP (equivalent to 0.5 mg betamethasone) in an ointment base consisting of mineral oil and white petrolatum."

"Description": "Betamethasone Dipropionate Ointment, USP (Augmented) contains betamethasone dipropionate, USP, a synthetic adrenocorticosteroid, for topical use. Betamethasone, an analog of prednisolone, has a high degree of corticosteroid activity and a slight degree of mineralocorticoid activity. Betamethasone dipropionate, USP is the 17, 21-dipropionate ester of betamethasone. Chemically, betamethasone dipropionate, USP is 9-Fluoro-11β, 17,21-trihydroxy-16β-methylpregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione 17,21-dipropionate, with the molecular formula C28H37FO7, a molecular weight of 504.59 and the following structural formula. It is a white to creamy-white, odorless powder insoluble in water; freely soluble in acetone and in chloroform; sparingly soluble in alcohol. Each gram of Betamethasone Dipropionate Ointment, USP (augmented) 0.05% contains 0.643 mg betamethasone dipropionate, USP (equivalent to 0.5 mg betamethasone), in an off-white ointment base of propylene glycol, propylene glycol stearate, white petrolatum, and white wax."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Naproxen tablets are indicated for. The relief of the signs and symptoms of: 1 rheumatoid arthritis, 2 osteoarthritis, 3 ankylosing spondylitis, 4 Polyarticular Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, 5 tendonitis, 6 bursitis, 7 acute gout.",
"Description": "Naproxen, USP is a propionic acid derivative related to the arylacetic acid group of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. The chemical names for naproxen, USP is (S)-6-methoxy- α -methyl-2 naphthaleneacetic acid. Naproxen, USP has the following structures. Naproxen, USP has a molecular weight of 230.26 and a molecular formula of C14H14O3. Naproxen, USP is an odorless, white to off-white crystalline substance. It is lipid-soluble, practically insoluble in water at low pH and freely soluble in water at high pH. The octanol/water partition coefficient of naproxen, USP at pH 7.4 is 1.6 to 1.8. Naproxen, USP is available as white tablets containing 250 mg of naproxen, USP white tablets containing 375 mg of naproxen, USP and white tablets containing 500 mg of naproxen, USP for oral administration. The inactive ingredients are croscarmellose sodium, povidone and magnesium stearate."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Diuretics such as chlorthalidone are indicated in the management of hypertension either as the sole therapeutic agent or to enhance the effect of other antihypertensive drugs in the more severe forms of hypertension. Chlorthalidone is indicated as adjunctive therapy in edema associated with congestive heart failure, hepatic cirrhosis, and corticosteroid and estrogen therapy. Chlorthalidone has also been found useful in edema due to various forms of renal dysfunction, such as nephrotic syndrome, acute glomerulonephritis, and chronic renal failure.",
"Description": "Chlorthalidone is an oral antihypertensive/diuretic. It is a monosulfamyl diuretic that differs chemically from thiazide diuretics in that a double-ring system is incorporated in its structure. It is 2-chloro-5(1-hydroxy-3-oxo-1- isoindolinyl) benzenesulfonamide with the following structural formula. Molecular Formula: C14H11CIN2O4SMolecular Weight: 338.76. Chlorthalidone, USP is practically insoluble in water, in ether, and in chloroform; soluble in methanol; slightly soluble in ethanol. Chlorthalidone tablets are available containing either 25 mg or 50 mg of chlorthalidone USP and the following inactive ingredients: Calcium Stearate, Colloidal Silicon Dioxide, D&C Yellow #10, FD&C Blue #1, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Pregelatinized Starch (Maize), and Sodium Starch Glycolate."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Testosterone cypionate injection is indicated for replacement therapy in the male in conditions associated with symptoms of deficiency or absence of endogenous testosterone. 1. Primary hypogonadism (congenital or acquired)-testicular failure due to cryptorchidism, bilateral torsion, orchitis, vanishing testis syndrome; or orchidectomy. 2. Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (congenital or acquired)-gonadotropin or LHRH deficiency, or pituitary-hypothalamic injury from tumors, trauma, or radiation. Safety and efficacy of testosterone cypionate injection in men with “age-related hypogonadism” (also referred to as “late-onset hypogonadism”) have not been established.",
"Description": "Testosterone Cypionate Injection, USP, for intramuscular injection, contains testosterone cypionate which is the oil-soluble 17 (beta)- cyclopentylpropionate ester of the androgenic hormone testosterone. Testosterone cypionate is a white or creamy white crystalline powder, odorless or nearly so and stable in air. It is insoluble in water, freely soluble in alcohol, chloroform, dioxane, ether, and soluble in vegetable oils. The chemical name for testosterone cypionate is androst-4-en-3-one,17-(3-cyclopentyl-1-oxopropoxy)-, (17β)-. Its molecular formula is C27H40O3, and the molecular weight 412.61. The structural formula is represented below. Testosterone Cypionate Injection, USP is available as 200 mg/mL testosterone cypionate. Each mL of the solution contains Testosterone Cypionate, 200 mg; Benzyl Benzoate, 0.2 mL; Cottonseed Oil, 560 mg; Benzyl Alcohol (as preservative), 9.45 mg."

Chemically, isradipine is 3,5-Pyridinedicarboxylic acid, 4-(4-benzofurazanyl)-1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-,methyl 1-methylethyl ester. Isradipine is a yellow, fine crystalline powder which is odorless or has a faint characteristic odor. Isradipine is practically insoluble in water (<10 mg/L at 37°C), but is soluble in ethanol and freely soluble in acetone, chloroform and methylene chloride. Active Ingredient: isradipine. Inactive Ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, gelatin, lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, red iron oxide (5 mg), sodium lauryl sulfate, and titanium dioxide. "IndicationAndUsage": "Diclofenac sodium topical solution is indicated for the treatment of signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis of the knee(s).",
"Description": "Diclofenac sodium topical solution, USP 1.5% is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, available as a clear, colorless to faintly pink-orange solution for topical application. Diclofenac sodium topical solution, USP contains 1.5% w/w diclofenac sodium, USP, a benzeneacetic acid derivative that is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), designated chemically as 2-[(2,6-dichlorophenyl)amino]-benzeneacetic acid, monosodium salt. It is a white to off-white crystalline powder, hygroscopic, and odorless that is freely soluble in methanol, soluble in alcohol, and sparingly soluble in water. The molecular weight is 318.13. Its molecular formula is C14H10Cl2NNaO2 and it has the following structural formula. Each 1 mL of solution contains 16.05 mg of diclofenac sodium, USP. The inactive ingredients in diclofenac sodium topical solution, USP include: alcohol, dimethyl sulfoxide USP (DMSO, 45.5% w/w), glycerin, propylene glycol, and purified water."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Imatinib mesylate is a kinase inhibitor indicated for the treatment of: 1 Newly diagnosed adult and pediatric patients with Philadelphia chromosome positive chronic myeloid leukemia (Ph+ CML) in chronic phase. ( 1.1) , 2 Patients with Philadelphia chromosome positive chronic myeloid leukemia (Ph+ CML) in blast crisis (BC), accelerated phase (AP), or in chronic phase (CP) after failure of interferon-alpha therapy. ( 1.2) , 3 Adult patients with relapsed or refractory Philadelphia chromosome positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph+ ALL). ( 1.3) , 4 Pediatric patients with newly diagnosed Philadelphia chromosome positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph+ ALL) in combination with chemotherapy. "Description": "Imatinib is a small molecule kinase inhibitor. Imatinib mesylate film-coated tablets are supplied as 100 mg and 400 mg tablets for oral administration. Each 100 mg tablet contains 119.45 mg of imatinib mesylate equivalent to 100 mg of imatinib free base. Each 400 mg tablet contains 477.8 mg of imatinib mesylate equivalent to 400 mg of imatinib free base. Imatinib mesylate is designated chemically as 4-[(4-Methyl-1-piperazinyl)methyl]-N-[4-methyl-3-[[4-(3-pyridinyl)-2-pyrimidinyl]amino]-phenyl]benzamide methanesulfonate and its structural formula is:. Imatinib mesylate is an off-white to creamish yellow crystalline powder. Its molecular formula is C 29H 31N 7O CH 4SO 3and its molecular weight is 589.7 g/mol. Imatinib mesylate is soluble in aqueous buffers less than or equal to pH 5.5 but is very slightly soluble to insoluble in neutral/alkaline aqueous buffers. In non-aqueous solvents, the drug substance is freely soluble to very slightly soluble in dimethyl sulfoxide, methanol, and ethanol, but is insoluble in n-octanol, acetone, and acetonitrile. Inactive Ingredients: silicified microcrystalline cellulose, mannitol, copovidone, crospovidone, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, iron oxide yellow, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide, FD&C yellow # 6 aluminum lake and iron oxide red."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Xiidra ®(lifitegrast ophthalmic solution) 5% is indicated for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of dry eye disease (DED).",
"Description": "The chemical name for lifitegrast is (S)-2-(2-(benzofuran-6-carbonyl)-5,7-dichloro-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline-6-carboxamido)-3-(3-(methylsulfonyl)phenyl)propanoic acid. The molecular formula of lifitegrast is C 29H 24Cl 2N 2O 7S and its molecular weight is 615.5 g/mol. The structural formula of lifitegrast is:. *Chiral center. Lifitegrast is a white to off-white powder, which is soluble in water. Xiidra (lifitegrast ophthalmic solution) 5% is a lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1 (LFA-1) antagonist supplied as a sterile, clear, colorless to slightly brownish-yellow colored, isotonic solution of lifitegrast with a pH of 7.0-8.0, and an osmolality range of 200-330 mOsmol/kg. Xiidra contains Active:lifitegrast 50 mg/mL; Inactives: sodium chloride, sodium phosphate dibasic anhydrous, sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate, and water for injection.
