"IndicationAndUsage": "Clindamycin phosphate and benzoyl peroxide gel is indicated for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris in patients 12 years or older.",
"Description": "Clindamycin phosphate and benzoyl peroxide gel, 1.2%/2.5% is a combination product with two active ingredients in a white to off-white, opaque, smooth, aqueous gel formulation intended for topical use. Clindamycin phosphate, USP is a water-soluble ester of the semi-synthetic antibiotic produced by a 7(S)-chloro-substitution of the 7(R)-hydroxyl group of the parent antibiotic lincomycin. The chemical name for clindamycin phosphate, USP is Methyl 7-chloro-6,7,8-trideoxy-6-(1-methyl-trans-4-propyl-L-2-pyrrolidinecarboxamido)-1-thio-L-threo-α-D-galactooctopyranoside 2-(dihydrogen phosphate). The structural formula for clindamycin phosphate, USP is represented below:. Clindamycin phosphate, USP. C18H34ClN2O8PS M.W. 504.97. Benzoyl peroxide, USP is an antibacterial and keratolytic agent. The structural formula for benzoyl peroxide, USP is represented below:. Benzoyl peroxide, USP. C14H10O4 M.W. 242.23. Clindamycin phosphate and benzoyl peroxide gel contains the following inactive ingredients: purified water, carbomer 980, propylene glycol, and potassium hydroxide. Each gram of clindamycin phosphate and benzoyl peroxide gel contains 1.2% of clindamycin phosphate, USP which is equivalent to 1% clindamycin."

"Description": "Loxapine, a dibenzoxazepine compound, represents a subclass of tricyclic antipsychotic agents, chemically distinct from the thioxanthenes, butyrophenones, and phenothiazines. Chemically, it is 2-Chloro-11-(4-methyl-1-piperazinyl)dibenz[b,f][1,4]oxazepine. It is present as the succinate salt. Each capsule for oral administration, contains loxapine succinate, USP 6.8 mg, 13.6 mg, 34.0 mg or 68.1 mg equivalent to 5 mg, 10 mg, 25 mg or 50 mg of loxapine base respectively. It also contains the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous lactose, benzyl alcohol, butyl paraben, edetate calcium disodium, gelatin, magnesium stearate, methyl paraben, polacrilin potassium, propyl paraben, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium propionate, talc, and titanium dioxide. The printing ink contains black iron oxide, propylene glycol, potassium hydroxide, shellac, strong ammonia solution. Additionally, the 10 mg capsule contains D&C Yellow No. 10 and FD&C Yellow No. 6, the 25 mg capsule contains D&C Yellow No. 10 and FD&C Blue No. 1, and the 50 mg capsule contains FD&C Blue No. 1."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets are indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Important Limitations of UseMetformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets should not be used in patients with type 1 diabetes or for the treatment of diabetic ketoacidosis, as it would not be effective in these settings.",
"Description": "Metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablet is an oral antihyperglycemic medication used in the management of type 2 diabetes. Metformin hydrochloride (N,N-dimethylimidodicarbonimidic diamide hydrochloride) is not chemically or pharmacologically related to any other classes of oral antihyperglycemic agents. The structural formula of metformin hydrochloride (metformin HCl) is as shown. Metformin HCl, USP is a white to off-white crystalline compound with a molecular formula of C4H11N5HCl and a molecular weight of 165.63. Metformin HCl, USP is freely soluble in water and is practically insoluble in acetone, ether, and chloroform. The pKa of metformin is 12.4. The pH of a 1% aqueous solution of metformin hydrochloride is 6.68. Metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets, USP are modified release dosage forms that contain 500 mg or 1,000 mg of metformin HCl. Each 500 mg tablet contains cellulose acetate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, FD&C blue #2, hypromellose, iron oxide black, lecithin, magnesium stearate, povidone, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, propylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, titanium dioxide, xanthan gum. Each 1,000 mg tablet contains cellulose acetate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, iron oxide black, lecithin, magnesium stearate, povidone, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, propylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, titanium dioxide, xanthan gum. Metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets USP, 500 mg and 1,000 mg tablets are formulated to gradually release metformin to the upper gastrointestinal (GI) tract."

"Description": "Metformin Hydrochloride Extended-Release Tablets contain the biguanidine antihyperglycemic agent, metformin, in the form of monohydrochloride salt. The chemical name of metformin HCl is N, N-dimethylimidodicarbonimidic diamide hydrochloride with a molecular formula of C4H11N5HCl and a molecular weight of 165.63. Its structural formula is. Metformin HCl is a white to off-white crystalline powder that is freely soluble in water and is practically insoluble in acetone, ether, and chloroform. The pKa of metformin is 12.4. The pH of a 1% aqueous solution of metformin HCl is 6.68. Metformin Hydrochloride Extended-Release Tablets deliver 500 mg or 1,000 mg of metformin HCl, which is equivalent to 389.93 mg or 779.86 mg metformin, respectively. These ingredients are not pharmacologically active."
