"Description": "Chlorpromazine HCl is chemically designated as 2-Chloro-10-[3-(dimethylamino)propyl]-phenothiazine monohydrochloride and has the following structural formula. C17H19ClN2S HCl MW 355.33. Chlorpromazine Hydrochloride Injection, USP is a sterile aqueous solution intended for deep intramuscular use. Each mL contains chlorpromazine hydrochloride 25 mg, ascorbic acid 2 mg, sodium metabisulfite 1 mg, sodium sulfite 1 mg and sodium chloride 6 mg in Water for Injection. pH is 3.4-5.4."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Promethazine hydrochloride injection is indicated for the following conditions: 1 Amelioration of allergic reactions to blood or plasma., 2 In anaphylaxis as an adjunct to epinephrine and other standard measures after the acute symptoms have been controlled., 3 For other uncomplicated allergic conditions of the immediate type when oral therapy is impossible or contraindicated., 4 For sedation and relief of apprehension and to produce light sleep from which the patient can be easily aroused., 5 Active treatment of motion sickness., 6 Prevention and control of nausea and vomiting associated with certain types of anesthesia and surgery., 7 As an adjunct to analgesics for the control of postoperative pain., 8 Preoperative, postoperative, and obstetric (during labor) sedation., 9 Intravenously in special surgical situations, such as repeated bronchoscopy, ophthalmic surgery, and poor-risk patients, with reduced amounts of meperidine or other narcotic analgesic as an adjunct to anesthesia and analgesia.",
"Description": "Promethazine hydrochloride injection, USP is a sterile, pyrogen-free solution for deep intramuscular or intravenous administration. Promethazine hydrochloride (10H-Phenothiazine-10-ethanamine,N,N,α-trimethyl-, monohydrochloride, (±)-) is a racemic compound and has the following structural formula. C17H21ClN2S MW 320.88. Each mL contains promethazine hydrochloride, either 25 mg or 50 mg, edetate disodium 0.1 mg, calcium chloride 0.04 mg, sodium metabisulfite 0.25 mg and phenol 5 mg in Water for Injection. pH 4.0 to 5.5; buffered with acetic acid-sodium acetate. Promethazine hydrochloride injection is a clear, colorless solution. The product is light sensitive. It should be inspected before use and discarded if either color or particulate is observed."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Digoxin is a cardiac glycoside indicated for: 1 Treatment of mild to moderate heart failure in adults. (1.1) , 2 Control of resting ventricular rate in adults with chronic atrial fibrillation. (1.3) .",
"Description": "Digoxin is one of the cardiac (or digitalis) glycosides, a closely related group of drugs having in common specific effects on the myocardium. These drugs are found in a number of plants. Digoxin is extracted from the leaves of Digitalis lanata. The term “digitalis” is used to designate the whole group of glycosides. The glycosides are composed of two portions: a sugar and a cardenolide (hence “glycosides”). Digoxin has the chemical name: 3β-[(O-2,6-dideoxy-β-D-ribo-hexopyranosyl-(1→4)-O-2,6-dideoxy-β-D-ribo-hexopyranosyl-(1→4)-2,6-dideoxy-β-D-ribo-hexopyranosyl)oxy]-12β,14-dihydroxy-5β-card-20(22)-enolide, and the following structural formula. C41H64O14 MW 780.94. Digoxin exists as odorless white crystals that melt with decomposition above 230°C. The drug is practically insoluble in water and in ether; slightly soluble in diluted (50%) alcohol and in chloroform; and freely soluble in pyridine. Digoxin Injection, USP is a sterile solution for slow intravenous or deep intramuscular injection. Each mL contains digoxin 250 mcg (0.25 mg), alcohol 0.1 mL, propylene glycol 0.4 mL, dibasic sodium phosphate, anhydrous 3 mg and citric acid, anhydrous 0.8 mg in Water for Injection. pH 6.7-7.3; citric acid and/or sodium phosphate added, if necessary, for pH adjustment. Dilution is not required."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Mirtazapine tablets are indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) in adults [see Clinical Studies (14)].",
"Description": "Mirtazapine tablets, USP contain mirtazapine USP. Mirtazapine has a tetracyclic chemical structure and belongs to the piperazino-azepine group of compounds. It is designated 1,2,3,4,10,14b-hexahydro-2-methylpyrazino [2,1-a] pyrido [2,3-c][2] benzazepine and has the molecular formula of C 17H 19N 3. Its molecular weight is 265.35. The structural formula is the following and it is the racemic mixture:. Mirtazapine is a white to creamy white crystalline powder which is practically insoluble in water. Mirtazapine tablets, USP are available for oral administration as scored film-coated tablets containing 15 or 30 mg of mirtazapine USP, and unscored film-coated tablets containing 7.5 or 45 mg of mirtazapine USP. Each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, and titanium dioxide. In addition, the 15 mg contains iron oxide yellow and 30 mg contains iron oxide red, iron oxide black, and iron oxide yellow."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Carefully consider the potential benefits and risks of ketorolac tromethamine and other treatment options before deciding to use ketorolac. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration consistent with individual patient treatment goals (see WARNINGS). Acute Pain in Adult Patients. Ketorolac tromethamine is indicated for the short-term (≤ 5 days) management of moderately severe acute pain that requires analgesia at the opioid level, usually in a postoperative setting. Therapy should always be initiated with intravenous or intramuscular dosing of ketorolac tromethamine, and oral ketorolac tromethamine is to be used only as continuation treatment, if necessary. The total combined duration of use of ketorolac tromethamine injection and oral ketorolac tromethamine is not to exceed 5 days of use because of the potential of increasing the frequency and severity of adverse reactions associated with the recommended doses (see WARNINGS, PRECAUTIONS, DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION, and ADVERSE REACTIONS). "IndicationAndUsage": "Naloxone hydrochloride injection is indicated for the complete or partial reversal of opioid depression, including respiratory depression, induced by natural and synthetic opioids including propoxyphene, methadone, and certain mixed agonist-antagonist analgesics: nalbuphine, pentazocine, butorphanol, and cyclazocine. Naloxone hydrochloride is also indicated for the diagnosis of suspected or known acute opioid overdosage. Naloxone may be useful as an adjunctive agent to increase blood pressure in the management of septic shock (see CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY, Adjunctive Use in Septic Shock).",

Each milliliter (mL) in the 1 mL single dose syringe contains 0.4 mg (400 micrograms) of naloxone hydrochloride, 8.9 mg of sodium chloride to adjust tonicity, in Water for Injection. Each milliliter (mL) in the 2 mL single dose syringe contains 1 mg of naloxone hydrochloride, 8.35 mg of sodium chloride to adjust tonicity, in Water for Injection. The pH is 3.0-4.0 with hydrochloric acid used, if needed, for pH adjustment. Sealed under nitrogen. Naloxone Hydrochloride Injection, USP may be administered intravenously, intramuscularly, or subcutaneously. Naloxone, an opioid antagonist, is a synthetic congener of oxymorphone. It differs from oxymorphone in that the methyl group on the nitrogen atom is replaced by an allyl group. Naloxone Hydrochloride, USP is a chemically designated 17-Allyl-4,5α-epoxy-3,14-dihydroxymorphinan-6-one hydrochloride (C19H21NO4 HCl), a white to slightly off-white powder soluble in water, in dilute acids, and in strong alkali; slightly soluble in alcohol; practically insoluble in ether and chloroform. It has a molecular weight of 363.84. It has the following structural formula."

"IndicationAndUsage": "AmBisome is indicated for the following: 1 Empirical therapy for presumed fungal infection in febrile, neutropenic patients., 2 Treatment of Cryptococcal Meningitis in HIV-infected patients (see DESCRIPTION OF CLINICAL STUDIES)., 3 Treatment of patients with Aspergillus species, Candida species and/or Cryptococcus species infections (see above for the treatment of Cryptococcal Meningitis) refractory to amphotericin B deoxycholate, or in patients where renal impairment or unacceptable toxicity precludes the use of amphotericin B deoxycholate. , 4 Treatment of visceral leishmaniasis. In immunocompromised patients with visceral leishmaniasis treated with AmBisome, relapse rates were high following initial clearance of parasites (see DESCRIPTION OF CLINICAL STUDIES).",
"Description": "AmBisome® for Injection is a sterile, non-pyrogenic lyophilized product for intravenous infusion. Each vial contains amphotericin B 50 milligrams (mg), intercalated into a liposomal membrane consisting of alpha tocopherol approximately 0.64 mg; cholesterol 52 mg; distearoyl phosphatidylglycerol sodium salt 84 mg; hydrogenated soy phosphatidylcholine 213 mg, together with disodium succinate hexahydrate 27 mg; and sucrose 900 mg. AmBisome may also contain hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide as pH adjusters. Following reconstitution with Sterile Water for Injection, USP, the resulting pH of the suspension is between 5-6. AmBisome is a true single bilayer liposomal drug delivery system. Liposomes are closed, spherical vesicles created by mixing specific proportions of amphophilic substances such as phospholipids and cholesterol so that they arrange themselves into multiple concentric bilayer membranes when hydrated in aqueous solutions. Single bilayer liposomes are then formed by microemulsification of multilamellar vesicles using a homogenizer. AmBisome consists of these unilamellar bilayer liposomes with amphotericin B intercalated within the membrane. Due to the nature and quantity of amphophilic substances used, and the lipophilic moiety in the amphotericin B molecule, the drug is an integral part of the overall structure of the AmBisome liposomes. "Description": "Loxapine, a dibenzoxazepine compound, represents a subclass of tricyclic antipsychotic agents, chemically distinct from the thioxanthenes, butyrophenones, and phenothiazines. Chemically, it is 2-Chloro-11-(4-methyl-1-piperazinyl)dibenz[b,f][1,4]oxazepine. It is present as the succinate salt. Each capsule for oral administration, contains loxapine succinate, USP 6.8, 13.6, 34.0 or 68.1 mg equivalent to 5, 10, 25 or 50 mg of loxapine base respectively. It also contains the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous lactose, colloidal silicon dioxide, gelatin, magnesium stearate, polacrilin potassium, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, titanium dioxide, D&C Yellow #10 and FD&C Blue #1. Additionally, the 5 mg capsule contains D&C Red #33, the 10 mg capsule contains D&C Red #33 and D&C Red #28, and the 25 mg capsule contains FD&C Yellow #6. In addition, the black imprinting ink contains shellac glace in ethanol, iron oxide black, n-butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, FD&C Blue #2/indigo carmine aluminum lake, FD&C Red #40/Allurea Red AC aluminum lake, FD&C Blue #1/brilliant Blue FCF aluminum lake, D&C Yellow #10 aluminum lake, SDA 3A alcohol, and methanol. "IndicationAndUsage": "Amphotericin B liposome for injection is indicated for the following: 1 Empirical therapy for presumed fungal infection in febrile, neutropenic patients., 2 Treatment of Cryptococcal Meningitis in HIV-infected patients (see DESCRIPTION OF CLINICAL STUDIES)., 3 Treatment of patients with Aspergillus species, Candida species and/or Cryptococcus species infections (see above for the treatment of Cryptococcal Meningitis) refractory to amphotericin B deoxycholate, or in patients where renal impairment or unacceptable toxicity precludes the use of amphotericin B deoxycholate., 4 Treatment of visceral leishmaniasis. In immunocompromised patients with visceral leishmaniasis treated with amphotericin B liposome for injection, relapse rates were high following initial clearance of parasites (see DESCRIPTION OF CLINICAL STUDIES).",
"Description": "Amphotericin B liposome for Injection is a sterile, non-pyrogenic lyophilized product for intravenous infusion. Each vial contains amphotericin B 50 milligrams (mg), intercalated into a liposomal membrane consisting of alpha tocopherol approximately 0.64 mg; cholesterol 52 mg; distearoyl phosphatidylglycerol sodium salt 84 mg; hydrogenated soy phosphatidylcholine 213 mg, together with disodium succinate hexahydrate 27 mg; and sucrose 900 mg. Amphotericin B liposome for injection may also contain hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide as pH adjusters. Following reconstitution with Sterile Water for Injection, USP, the resulting pH of the suspension is between 5 to 6. Amphotericin B liposome for injection is a true single bilayer liposomal drug delivery system. Liposomes are closed, spherical vesicles created by mixing specific proportions of amphophilic substances such as phospholipids and cholesterol so that they arrange themselves into multiple concentric bilayer membranes when hydrated in aqueous solutions. Single bilayer liposomes are then formed by microemulsification of multilamellar vesicles using a homogenizer. Amphotericin B liposome for injection consists of these unilamellar bilayer liposomes with amphotericin B intercalated within the membrane. Due to the nature and quantity of amphophilic substances used, and the lipophilic moiety in the amphotericin B molecule, the drug is an integral part of the overall structure of the amphotericin B liposomes for injection. "IndicationAndUsage": "Allergenic extracts are indicated for use in diagnostic testing and as part of a treatment regime for allergic disease, as established by allergy history and skin test reactivity. Allergenic extracts are indicated for the treatment of allergen specific allergic disease for use as hyposensitization or immunotherapy when avoidance of specific allergens can not be attained. The use of allergenic extracts for therapeutic purpose has been established by well-controlled clinical studies. Allergenic extracts may be used as adjunctive therapy along with pharmacotherapy which includes antihistamines, corticosteroids, and cromoglycate, and avoidance measures. Allergenic extracts for therapeutic use should be given using only the allergen selection to which the patient is allergic, has a history of exposure and are likely to be exposed to again.",
