Digoxin is described chemically as 3β-[(O-2,6-Dideoxy-β-D-ribo-hexopyranosyl-(1→4)-O-2,6-dideoxy-β-D-ribo-hexopyranosyl-(1→4)-2,6-dideoxy-β-D-ribo-hexopyranosyl)oxy]-12β,14-dihydroxy-5β-card-20(22)-enolide. Its molecular formula is C41H64O14, its molecular weight is 780.94, and its structural formula is. Digoxin occurs as white or almost white powder, or colorless crystals that melt with decomposition above 230°C. The drug is practically insoluble in water and in ether; slightly soluble in diluted (50%) alcohol and in chloroform; and freely soluble in pyridine. Digoxin Tablets, USP are supplied as 125 mcg or 250 mcg tablets for oral administration. Each tablet contains the labeled amount of Digoxin, USP and the following inactive ingredients. 125 mcg: anhydrous lactose, colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, D&C yellow #10 aluminum lake, FD&C yellow #6 aluminum lake, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, and starch 1500. 250 mcg: anhydrous lactose, colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, and starch 1500."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Ziprasidone capsules are indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia, as monotherapy for the acute treatment of bipolar manic or mixed episodes, and as an adjunct to lithium or valproate for the maintenance treatment of bipolar disorder. When deciding among the alternative treatments available for the condition needing treatment, the prescriber should consider the finding of ziprasidone’s greater capacity to prolong the QT/QTc interval compared to several other antipsychotic drugs [see Warnings and Precautions (5.3)]. Prolongation of the QTc interval is associated in some other drugs with the ability to cause torsade de pointes-type arrhythmia, a potentially fatal polymorphic ventricular tachycardia, and sudden death. In many cases this would lead to the conclusion that other drugs should be tried first. Whether ziprasidone will cause torsade de pointes or increase the rate of sudden death is not yet known [see Warnings and Precautions (5.3)]. Schizophrenia: 1 Ziprasidone capsules are indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults [see Clinical Studies (14.1)].",

<IndicationAndUsage>Ziprasidone capsules are indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia, as monotherapy for the acute treatment of bipolar manic or mixed episodes, and as an adjunct to lithium or valproate for the maintenance treatment of bipolar disorder. Schizophrenia: 1 Ziprasidone capsules are indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults [see Clinical Studies (14.1)].</IndicationAndUsage>

Schizophrenia: 1 Ziprasidone capsules are indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults [see Clinical Studies (14.1)].</IndicationAndUsage>

<IndicationAndUsage>Lithium carbonate extended-release tablets are indicated in the treatment of manic episodes of Bipolar Disorder. Bipolar Disorder, Manic (DSM-IV) is equivalent to Manic Depressive illness, Manic, in the older DSM-II terminology. Lithium carbonate extended-release tablets are also indicated as a maintenance treatment for individuals with a diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder. Maintenance therapy reduces the frequency of manic episodes and diminishes the intensity of those episodes which may occur. Typical symptoms of mania include pressure of speech, motor hyperactivity, reduced need for sleep, flight of ideas, grandiosity, elation, poor judgment, aggressiveness, and possibly hostility. When given to a patient experiencing a manic episode, lithium may produce a normalization of symptomatology within 1 to 3 weeks.</IndicationAndUsage>
