"Description": "BRONCHITOL (mannitol) inhalation powder contains D-Mannitol (referred to throughout as mannitol) as the active ingredient. Mannitol is a hexahydric sugar alcohol, with the following chemical name hexane-1,2,3,4,5,6-hexol and chemical structure:. Mannitol is a white or almost white crystalline powder or free-flowing granules with an empirical formula of C6H14O6 and molecular weight of 182.2. Mannitol is freely soluble in water, and very slightly soluble in alcohol. Mannitol shows polymorphism. BRONCHITOL contains mannitol powder spray dried into particles of respirable size filled into clear, colorless hard gelatin capsules. There are no inactive ingredients in BRONCHITOL. The accompanying white plastic inhaler is comprised of a mouthpiece, blue piercing buttons, capsule chamber, and a removable cap. A blister pack consists of 10 capsules, each containing 40 mg mannitol. After a capsule is placed in the capsule chamber and pierced by firmly pressing and releasing the buttons on the side of the device, the powder within the capsule becomes exposed and ready for dispersion into the airstream generated by the patient upon inhalation through the mouthpiece. Under standardized in vitro test conditions, the inhaler delivers 32.2 mg of mannitol per inhalation when tested at a flow rate of 60 L/min for 2 seconds. The actual amount of drug delivered to the lungs will depend on patient factors, such as inspiratory flow profile."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Ibutilide fumarate injection is indicated for the rapid conversion of atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter of recent onset to sinus rhythm. Patients with atrial arrhythmias of longer duration are less likely to respond to ibutilide fumarate. The effectiveness of ibutilide has not been determined in patients with arrhythmias of more than 90 days in duration.LIFE-THREATENING ARRHYTHMIAS—APPROPRIATE TREATMENT ENVIRONMENT Ibutilide fumarate can cause potentially fatal arrhythmias, particularly sustained polymorphic ventricular tachycardia, usually in association with QT prolongation (torsades de pointes), but sometimes without documented QT prolongation. In registration studies, these arrhythmias, which require cardioversion, occurred in 1.7% of treated patients during, or within a number of hours of, use of Ibutilide fumarate. These arrhythmias can be reversed if treated promptly (see WARNINGS, Proarrhythmia). It is essential that Ibutilide fumarate be administered in a setting of continuous ECG monitoring and by personnel trained in identification and treatment of acute ventricular arrhythmias, particularly polymorphic ventricular tachycardia. Patients with atrial fibrillation of more than 2 to 3 days’ duration must be adequately anticoagulated, generally for at least 2 weeks. CHOICE OF PATIENTS Patients with chronic atrial fibrillation have a strong tendency to revert after conversion to sinus rhythm (see CLINICAL STUDIES) and treatments to maintain sinus rhythm carry risks. Patients to be treated with Ibutilide fumarate , therefore, should be carefully selected such that the expected benefits of maintaining sinus rhythm outweigh the immediate risks of Ibutilide fumarate , and the risks of maintenance therapy, and are likely to offer an advantage compared with alternative management.",

"IndicationAndUsage": "Fluzone® Quadrivalent Southern Hemisphere is a vaccine indicated for active immunization for the prevention of disease caused by influenza A subtype viruses and type B viruses contained in the vaccine. Fluzone Quadrivalent Southern Hemisphere is approved for use in persons 6 months of age and older.",
"Description": "Fluzone Quadrivalent Southern Hemisphere (Influenza Vaccine) for intramuscular use is an inactivated influenza vaccine, prepared from influenza viruses propagated in embryonated chicken eggs. The virus-containing allantoic fluid is harvested and inactivated with formaldehyde. Influenza virus is concentrated and purified in a linear sucrose density gradient solution using a continuous flow centrifuge. The virus is then chemically disrupted using a non-ionic surfactant, octylphenol ethoxylate (Triton® X-100), producing a \"split virus\". The split virus containing hemagglutinin (HA) antigen is further purified and then suspended in sodium phosphate-buffered isotonic sodium chloride solution. The Fluzone Quadrivalent process uses an additional concentration factor after the ultrafiltration step to obtain a higher HA antigen concentration. The purified split virus from the four strains included in the vaccine are produced separately and then combined to make the quadrivalent formulation. Fluzone Quadrivalent Southern Hemisphere is an injectable suspension and is clear and slightly opalescent in color. Antibiotics are not used in the manufacture of Fluzone Quadrivalent Southern Hemisphere. No presentation of Fluzone Quadrivalent Southern Hemisphere is made with natural rubber latex. Fluzone Quadrivalent Southern Hemisphere is standardized according to United States Public Health Service requirements and is formulated to contain HA of each of the following four influenza strains recommended for the 2025 Southern Hemisphere influenza season: A/Victoria/4897/2022 IVR-238 (H1N1), A/Croatia/10136RV/2023 X-425A (H3N2), B/Phuket/3073/2013 (B Yamagata lineage), and B/Michigan/01/2021 (a B/Austria/1359417/2021-like virus, B Victoria lineage). The amounts of HA and other ingredients per dose of vaccine are listed in Table 7. The 0.5 mL single-dose, pre-filled syringe presentation is manufactured and formulated without thimerosal or any other preservative. The 5 mL multi-dose vial presentation contains thimerosal, a mercury derivative, added as a preservative. Each 0.5 mL dose from the multi-dose vial contains 25 mcg mercury. Each 0.25 mL dose from the multi-dose vial contains 12.5 mcg mercury."

<IndicationAndUsage>BRONCHITOL is indicated as add-on maintenance therapy to improve pulmonary function in adult patients 18 years and older with Cystic Fibrosis. Use BRONCHITOL only for adults who have passed the BRONCHITOL Tolerance Test [see Dosage and Administration (2.1)].</IndicationAndUsage>

BRONCHITOL (mannitol) inhalation powder contains D-Mannitol (referred to throughout as mannitol) as the active ingredient. The actual amount of drug delivered to the lungs will depend on patient factors, such as inspiratory flow profile.

<IndicationAndUsage>Ibutilide fumarate injection is indicated for the rapid conversion of atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter of recent onset to sinus rhythm. Patients to be treated with Ibutilide fumarate , therefore, should be carefully selected such that the expected benefits of maintaining sinus rhythm outweigh the immediate risks of Ibutilide fumarate , and the risks of maintenance therapy, and are likely to offer an advantage compared with alternative management.</IndicationAndUsage>

Ibutilide Fumarate Injection is an antiarrhythmic drug with predominantly class III (cardiac action potential prolongation) properties according to the Vaughan Williams Classification. Each milliliter of Ibutilide Fumarate Injection contains 0.1 mg of ibutilide fumarate, USP (equivalent to 0.087 mg ibutilide free base), 0.189 mg sodium acetate trihydrate, USP, 8.90 mg sodium chloride, USP, hydrochloric acid NF and/or sodium hydroxide NF to adjust pH to approximately 4.6, and Water for Injection, USP. Ibutilide Fumarate Injection is an isotonic, clear, colorless, sterile aqueous solution. Ibutilide fumarate has one chiral center, and exists as a racemate of the (+) and (−) enantiomers. The chemical name for ibutilide fumarate is Methanesulfonamide, N-{4-{4-(ethylheptylamino)-1-hydroxybutyl} phenyl}, (+) (−), (E)-2-butenedioate (1:0.5) (hemifumarate salt) Its molecular formula is C22H38N2O5S, and its molecular weight is 442.62. Ibutilide fumarate is a white to off-white powder with an aqueous solubility of over 100 mg/mL at pH 7 or lower. The structural formula is represented below.

<IndicationAndUsage>Fluzone® Quadrivalent Southern Hemisphere is a vaccine indicated for active immunization for the prevention of disease caused by influenza A subtype viruses and type B viruses contained in the vaccine. Fluzone Quadrivalent Southern Hemisphere is approved for use in persons 6 months of age and older.</IndicationAndUsage>

Fluzone Quadrivalent Southern Hemisphere (Influenza Vaccine) for intramuscular use is an inactivated influenza vaccine, prepared from influenza viruses propagated in embryonated chicken eggs. The virus-containing allantoic fluid is harvested and inactivated with formaldehyde. Influenza virus is concentrated and purified in a linear sucrose density gradient solution using a continuous flow centrifuge. The virus is then chemically disrupted using a non-ionic surfactant, octylphenol ethoxylate (Triton® X-100), producing a "split virus". Each 0.25 mL dose from the multi-dose vial contains 12.5 mcg mercury.

<IndicationAndUsage>Allergenic extract may be used as a diagnostic skin test reagent in persons suspected of being sensitive to the allergenic source material from which the extract is made. Skin tests should be used in conjunction with a thorough allergic history to establish the relevance of a given allergen in the etiology of allergic disease. (4,5,6) Immunotherapy with allergenic extract is indicated in persons suffering from allergic rhinitis, bronchitis, conjunctivitis, urticaria and asthma. The therapeutic efficacy of allergenic extract has been proven in ragweed, grass, and mountain cedar pollinosis, cat-induced asthma and hypersensitivity to hymenoptera venoms. (7-12). Immunotherapy may be used along with or exclusive of antihistamines and other medications used to control allergic symptoms.</IndicationAndUsage>

Allergenic extract contains the aqueous extractables from allergenic source material in extracting solution containing 0.25% sodium chloride, 0.125% sodium bicarbonate, and 50% glycerol. 0.4% phenol is added as a preservative. The weight by volume value shown on the label is a measurement of extract concentration, rather than extract potency. Extracts for which U.S. standards exist are labeled in allergy units, in addition to w/v strength.
