"IndicationAndUsage": "Parenteral therapy should be reserved for patients unable to take oral medication or for patients in emergency clinical situations. Edema:Furosemide is indicated in adults and pediatric patients for the treatment of edema associated with congestive heart failure, cirrhosis of the liver, and renal disease, including the nephrotic syndrome. Furosemide is particularly useful when an agent with greater diuretic potential is desired. Furosemide is indicated as adjunctive therapy in acute pulmonary edema. The intravenous administration of furosemide is indicated when a rapid onset of diuresis is desired, e.g., in acute pulmonary edema. If gastrointestinal absorption is impaired or oral medication is not practical for any reason, furosemide is indicated by the intravenous or intramuscular route. Parenteral use should be replaced with oral furosemide as soon as practical.",

Skin tests should be used in conjunction with a thorough allergic history to establish the relevance of a given allergen in the etiology of allergic disease. (4,5,6) Immunotherapy with allergenic extract is indicated in persons suffering from allergic rhinitis, bronchitis, conjunctivitis, urticaria and asthma. The therapeutic efficacy of allergenic extract has been proven in ragweed, grass, and mountain cedar pollinosis, cat-induced asthma and hypersensitivity to hymenoptera venoms. (7-12). Immunotherapy may be used along with or exclusive of antihistamines and other medications used to control allergic symptoms.",

"Description": "Desvenlafaxine is an extended-release tablet for oral administration that contains desvenlafaxine succinate, USP, a structurally novel SNRI for the treatment of MDD. Desvenlafaxine (O-desmethylvenlafaxine) is the major active metabolite of the antidepressant venlafaxine, a medication used to treat major depressive disorder. Desvenlafaxine is designated RS-4-[2-dimethylamino-1-(1-hydroxycyclohexyl)ethyl]phenol and has the empirical formula of C16H25NO2 (free base) and C16H25NO2C4H6O4H2O (succinate monohydrate). Desvenlafaxine succinate monohydrate has a molecular weight of 399.48. The structural formula is shown below. Desvenlafaxine succinate, USP is a white to off-white powder that is soluble in water. The solubility of desvenlafaxine succinate is pH dependent. Its octanol:aqueous system (at pH 7) partition coefficient is 0.21. Desvenlafaxine is formulated as an extended-release tablet for once-a-day oral administration. Each tablet contains 38 mg, 76 mg or 152 mg of desvenlafaxine succinate equivalent to 25 mg, 50 mg or 100 mg of desvenlafaxine, respectively. Inactive ingredients for the 25 mg tablet consist of hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, talc and film coating, which consists of hypromellose, iron oxide yellow, iron oxide red, iron oxide black, polyethylene glycol, talc, and titanium dioxide. Inactive ingredients for the 50 mg tablet consist of hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, talc and film coating, which consists of hypromellose, iron oxide red, polyethylene glycol, talc, and titanium dioxide. Inactive ingredients for the 100 mg tablet consist of hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, talc and film coating, which consists of hypromellose, iron oxide black, iron oxide red, polyethylene glycol, talc, and titanium dioxide."

<IndicationAndUsage>Parenteral therapy should be reserved for patients unable to take oral medication or for patients in emergency clinical situations. Parenteral use should be replaced with oral furosemide as soon as practical.</IndicationAndUsage>

<IndicationAndUsage>Allergenic extract may be used as a diagnostic skin test reagent in persons suspected of being sensitive to the allergenic source material from which the extract is made. (7-12). Immunotherapy may be used along with or exclusive of antihistamines and other medications used to control allergic symptoms.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Allergenic extract contains the aqueous extractables from allergenic source material in extracting solution containing 0.25% sodium chloride, 0.125% sodium bicarbonate, and 50% glycerol. 0.4% phenol is added as a preservative. The weight by volume value shown on the label is a measurement of extract concentration, rather than extract potency. Extracts for which U.S. standards exist are labeled in allergy units, in addition to w/v strength.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>Desvenlafaxine is indicated for the treatment of adults with major depressive disorder (MDD) [see Clinical Studies (14)].</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Desvenlafaxine is an extended-release tablet for oral administration that contains desvenlafaxine succinate, USP, a structurally novel SNRI for the treatment of MDD. Inactive ingredients for the 100 mg tablet consist of hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, talc and film coating, which consists of hypromellose, iron oxide black, iron oxide red, polyethylene glycol, talc, and titanium dioxide.</Description>
