"IndicationAndUsage": "Neomycin and polymyxin B sulfates and bacitracin zinc ophthalmic ointment is indicated for the topical treatment of superficial infections of the external eye and its adnexa caused by susceptible bacteria. Such infections encompass conjunctivitis, keratitis and keratoconjunctivitis, blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis.",
"Description": "Neomycin and Polymyxin B Sulfates and Bacitracin Zinc Ophthalmic Ointment, USP is a sterile antimicrobial ointment for topical ophthalmic use. Each gram contains: neomycin sulfate equivalent to 3.5 mg neomycin base, polymyxin B sulfate equivalent to 10,000 polymyxin B units, and bacitracin zinc equivalent to 400 bacitracin units and petrolatum q.s. Neomycin sulfate is the sulfate salt of neomycin B and C, which are produced by the growth of Streptomyces fradiae Waksman (Fam. Streptomycetaceae). It has a potency equivalent of not less than 600 micrograms of neomycin standard per mg, calculated on an anhydrous basis. The structural formulae are:. Polymyxin B sulfate is the sulfate salt of polymyxin B1 and B2 which are produced by the growth of Bacillus polymyxa (Prazmowski) Migula (Fam. Bacillaceae). It has a potency of not less than 6,000 polymyxin B units per mg, calculated on an anhydrous basis. The structural formulae are. Bacitracin zinc is the zinc salt of bacitracin, a mixture of related cyclic polypeptides (mainly bacitracin A) produced by the growth of an organism of the licheniformis group of Bacillus subtilis var Tracy. It has a potency of not less than 40 bacitracin units per mg. The structural formula is."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Pregabalin capsules are indicated for. Management of neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Management of postherpetic neuralgia. Adjunctive therapy for the treatment of partial-onset seizures in patients 1 month of age and older. Management of fibromyalgia. Management of neuropathic pain associated with spinal cord injury.",
"Description": "Pregabalin is described chemically as ( S)-3-(aminomethyl)-5-methylhexanoic acid. The molecular formula is C 8H 17NO 2and the molecular weight is 159.23. The chemical structure of pregabalin is:. Pregabalin is a white to off-white, crystalline powder with a pK a1of 4.2 and a pK a2of 10.6. It is sparingly soluble in water. The log of the partition coefficient (n-octanol/0.05M phosphate buffer) at pH 7.4 is - 1.35. Pregabalin Capsules are administered orally and are supplied as imprinted hard-shell capsules containing 25 mg, 50 mg, 75 mg, 100 mg, 150 mg, 200 mg, 225 mg, and 300 mg of pregabalin, along with regelatinized starch and talc as inactive ingredients. The capsule shells contain gelatin, titanium dioxide and sodium lauryl sulfate. In addition, the orange capsule shells (75 mg, 100 mg, 200 mg, 225 mg and 300 mg strengths) contain the colorants FD&C Blue 1, FD&C Red 40 and FD&C Yellow 6. The imprinting ink contains shellac, black iron oxide, propylene glycol, and potassium hydroxide."

"Description": "GoLYTELY is a combination of polyethylene glycol 3350, an osmotic laxative, and electrolytes (sodium sulfate, sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and potassium chloride) for oral solution supplied in a 4-liter disposable jug containing 236 g polyethylene glycol 3350, 22.74 g sodium sulfate (anhydrous), 6.74 g sodium bicarbonate, 5.86 g sodium chloride, and 2.97 g potassium chloride as a white powder. "Description": "Meclizine hydrochloride, a histamine (H1) receptor antagonist, is a white or slightly yellowish, crystalline powder. It has the following structural formula. Chemically, meclizine hydrochloride is 1-(p-chloro-α-phenylbenzyl)-4-(m-methylbenzyl) piperazine dihydrochloride monohydrate. Tablets Inactive ingredients for the tablets are: corn starch; dibasic calcium phosphate; magnesium stearate; polyethylene glycol; sucrose. The 12.5 mg tablets also contain: FD&C Blue # 1. The 25 mg tablets also contain: FD&C Yellow # 6 and D&C Yellow # 10. The 50 mg tablets also contain: FD&C Blue # 1, FD&C Yellow # 6 and D&C Yellow # 10. Each meclizine hydrochloride 12.5 mg tablet contains 12.5 mg of meclizine dihydrochloride equivalent to 10.53 mg of meclizine free base. Each meclizine hydrochloride 25 mg tablet contains 25 mg of meclizine dihydrochloride equivalent to 21.07 mg of meclizine free base. "IndicationAndUsage": "Meclizine hydrochloride is indicated for the treatment of vertigo associated with diseases affecting the vestibular system in adults.",
"Description": "Meclizine hydrochloride, a histamine (H1) receptor antagonist, is a white or slightly yellowish, crystalline powder. It has the following structural formula. Chemically, meclizine hydrochloride is 1-(p-chloro-α-phenylbenzyl)-4-(m-methylbenzyl) piperazine dihydrochloride monohydrate. Tablets Inactive ingredients for the tablets are: corn starch; dibasic calcium phosphate; magnesium stearate; polyethylene glycol; sucrose. The 12.5 mg tablets also contain: FD&C Blue # 1. The 25 mg tablets also contain: FD&C Yellow # 6 and D&C Yellow # 10. The 50 mg tablets also contain: FD&C Blue # 1, FD&C Yellow # 6 and D&C Yellow # 10. Each meclizine hydrochloride 12.5 mg tablet contains 12.5 mg of meclizine dihydrochloride equivalent to 10.53 mg of meclizine free base. Each meclizine hydrochloride 25 mg tablet contains 25 mg of meclizine dihydrochloride equivalent to 21.07 mg of meclizine free base. Each meclizine hydrochloride 50 mg tablet contains 50 mg of meclizine dihydrochloride equivalent to 42.14 mg of meclizine free base.Chewable Tablets Inactive ingredients for the chewable tablets are: corn starch, colloidal silicon dioxide, FD&C Red # 40, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, raspberry flavor, saccharin sodium, and talc. Levetiracetam is chemically unrelated to existing antiepileptic drugs (AEDs). It has the following structural formula. Levetiracetam USP is a white to off-white, crystalline powder with a faint odor and a bitter taste. It is very soluble in water (104 g/100 mL). It is freely soluble in chloroform (65.3 g/100 mL) and in methanol (53.6 g/100 mL), soluble in ethanol (16.5 g/100 mL), sparingly soluble in acetonitrile (5.7 g/100 mL) and practically insoluble in n-hexane. (Solubility limits are expressed as g/100 mL solvent.)Levetiracetam tablets USP contain the labeled amount of levetiracetam.
