"IndicationAndUsage": "Temozolomide is an alkylating drug indicated for the treatment of adults with: 1 Newly diagnosed glioblastoma concomitantly with radiotherapy and then as maintenance treatment. (1.1), 2 Anaplastic astrocytoma. (1.2) Adjuvant treatment of adults with newly diagnosed anaplastic astrocytoma. (1.2) Treatment of adults with refractory anaplastic astrocytoma. (1.2) .",
"Description": "Temozolomide is an alkylating drug. The chemical name of temozolomide is 3,4-dihydro-3-methyl-4-oxoimidazo[5,1-d]-as-tetrazine-8-carboxamide. The structural formula of temozolomide is. The material is a white to light tan/light pink powder with a molecular formula of C6H6N6O2 and a molecular weight of 194.15. The molecule is stable at acidic pH (<5) and labile at pH >7; hence temozolomide can be administered orally and intravenously. The prodrug, temozolomide, is rapidly hydrolyzed to the active 5-(3-methyltriazen-1-yl) imidazole-4-carboxamide (MTIC) at neutral and alkaline pH values, with hydrolysis taking place even faster at alkaline pH. Temozolomide capsules, USP. Each capsule for oral use contains either 5 mg, 20 mg, 100 mg, 140 mg, 180 mg, or 250 mg of temozolomide. The inactive ingredients for Temozolomide Capsules, USP are as follows. Temozolomide Capsules 5 mg: lactose anhydrous, colloidal silicon dioxide, sodium starch glycolate, tartaric acid, and stearic acid.Temozolomide Capsules 20 mg: lactose anhydrous, colloidal silicon dioxide, sodium starch glycolate, tartaric acid, and stearic acid.Temozolomide Capsules 100 mg: lactose anhydrous, colloidal silicon dioxide, sodium starch glycolate, tartaric acid, and stearic acid.Temozolomide Capsules 140 mg: lactose anhydrous, colloidal silicon dioxide, sodium starch glycolate, tartaric acid, and stearic acid.Temozolomide Capsules 180 mg: lactose anhydrous, colloidal silicon dioxide, sodium starch glycolate, tartaric acid, and stearic acid.Temozolomide Capsules 250 mg: lactose anhydrous, colloidal silicon dioxide, sodium starch glycolate, tartaric acid, and stearic acid. The body of the capsules is made of gelatin and is opaque white. The cap is also made of gelatin, and the colors vary based on the dosage strength. The capsule body and cap are imprinted with pharmaceutical branding ink, which contains shellac, dehydrated alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, purified water, strong ammonia solution, potassium hydroxide, and ferric oxide. "IndicationAndUsage": "A dental caries preventive; for once daily self-applied topical use. It is well established that 1.1% sodium fluoride is safe and extraordinarily effective as a caries preventive when applied frequently with mouthpiece applicators.1-4 Denta 5000 Plus brand of 1.1% sodium fluoride in a squeeze-tube is easily applied onto a toothbrush. This prescription dental cream should be used once daily in place of your regular toothpaste unless otherwise instructed by your dental professional. May be used whether or not drinking water is fluoridated, since topical fluoride cannot produce fluorosis. (See WARNINGS for exception.).",

"Description": "Temozolomide is an alkylating drug. The chemical name of temozolomide is 3,4-dihydro-3-methyl-4-oxoimidazo[5,1-d]-as-tetrazine-8-carboxamide. The structural formula of temozolomide is. The material is a white to light tan/light pink powder with a molecular formula of C6H6N6O2 and a molecular weight of 194.15. The molecule is stable at acidic pH (<5) and labile at pH >7; hence temozolomide can be administered orally and intravenously. The prodrug, temozolomide, is rapidly hydrolyzed to the active 5-(3-methyltriazen-1-yl) imidazole-4-carboxamide (MTIC) at neutral and alkaline pH values, with hydrolysis taking place even faster at alkaline pH. Temozolomide capsules, USP. Each capsule for oral use contains either 5 mg, 20 mg, 100 mg, 140 mg, 180 mg, or 250 mg of temozolomide. "IndicationAndUsage": "When oral therapy is not feasible and the strength, dosage form, and route of administration of the drug reasonably lend the preparation to the treatment of the condition, the intramuscular use of Methylprednisolone Acetate Injectable Suspension, sterile aqueous suspension, is indicated as follows:. Allergic States: Control of severe or incapacitating allergic conditions intractable to adequate trials of conventional treatment in asthma, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, drug hypersensitivity reactions, serum sickness, transfusion reactions. Dermatologic Diseases: Bullous dermatitis herpetiformis, exfoliative erythroderma, mycosis fungoides, pemphigus, severe erythema multiforme (Stevens-Johnson syndrome). Endocrine Disorders: Primary or secondary adrenocortical insufficiency (hydrocortisone or cortisone is the drug of choice; synthetic analogs may be used in conjunction with mineralocorticoids where applicable; in infancy, mineralocorticoid supplementation is of particular importance), congenital adrenal hyperplasia, hypercalcemia associated with cancer, nonsuppurative thyroiditis. Gastrointestinal Diseases: To tide the patient over a critical period of the disease in regional enteritis (systemic therapy) and ulcerative colitis. Hematologic Disorders: Acquired (autoimmune) hemolytic anemia, congenital (erythroid) hypoplastic anemia (Diamond Blackfan anemia), pure red cell aplasia, select cases of secondary thrombocytopenia. Miscellaneous: Trichinosis with neurologic or myocardial involvement, tuberculous meningitis with subarachnoid block or impending block when used concurrently with appropriate antituberculous chemotherapy. Neoplastic Diseases: For palliative management of leukemias and lymphomas. Nervous System: Cerebral edema associated with primary or metastatic brain tumor or craniotomy. Ophthalmic Diseases: Sympathetic ophthalmia, temporal arteritis, uveitis and ocular inflammatory conditions unresponsive to topical corticosteroids. Renal Diseases: To induce diuresis or remission of proteinuria in idiopathic nephrotic syndrome, or that due to lupus erythematosus. Respiratory Diseases: Berylliosis, fulminating or disseminated pulmonary tuberculosis when used concurrently with appropriate antituberculous chemotherapy, idiopathic eosinophilic pneumonias, symptomatic sarcoidosis. Rheumatic Disorders: As adjunctive therapy for short-term administration (to tide the patient over an acute episode or exacerbation) in acute gouty arthritis; acute rheumatic carditis; ankylosing spondylitis; psoriatic arthritis; rheumatoid arthritis, including juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (selected cases may require low-dose maintenance therapy). For the treatment of dermatomyositis, polymyositis, and systemic lupus erythematosus.",
"Description": "Methylprednisolone Acetate Injectable Suspension, USP is an anti-inflammatory glucocorticoid for intramuscular, intra-articular, soft tissue, or intralesional injection. It is available in two strengths: 40 mg per mL, 80 mg per mL. Each mL of these preparations contains:. Methylprednisolone acetate……………………………………40 mg……………………..80 mg. Dibasic sodium phosphate, USP……………………………..1.42 mg…………………….1.37 mg. Benzyl alcohol added as a preservative………………………9.16 mg……………………8.88 mg. Sodium Chloride was added to adjust tonicity. When necessary, pH was adjusted with sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid. The pH of the finished product remains within the USP specified range (e.g., 3.5 to 7.0). The chemical name for methylprednisolone acetate is pregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione, 21-(acetyloxy)-11,17-dihydroxy-6-methyl-,(6α,11ß)- and the molecular weight is 416.51. The structural formula is represented below:. Methylprednisolone Acetate Injectable Suspension, USP, sterile aqueous suspension, contains methylprednisolone acetate which is the 6-methyl derivative of prednisolone. Methylprednisolone acetate is a white or practically white, odorless, crystalline powder which melts at about 215° with some decomposition. It is soluble in dioxane, sparingly soluble in acetone, alcohol, chloroform, and methanol, and slightly soluble in ether. It is practically insoluble in water."

Oraltag is provided as a nonsterile white to off-white powder with 9.7 g iohexol (equivalent to 4.5 g of carbon bound iodine) in a 20-ounce beverage bottle. Each bottle is individually sealed in a foil laminated pouch. Oraltag consists of 100 percent iohexol and contains no excipients. Iohexol is designated chemically as N,N´-bis(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)-5-[N-(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)acetamido]-2,4,6-triiodoisophthalamide. It is a nonionic, water-soluble iodinated contrast medium with a molecular weight of 821.14 (carbon bound iodine content 46.36%). In aqueous solution each triiodinated molecule remains undissociated. The chemical structure is. Oraltag, when prepared at a concentration of 9 mgI/mL in water, has an osmolality of 30 mOsmol/kg water. The calculated osmolality of 21 mgI/mL in water is 55 mOsmol/kg water. The prepared solutions are hypotonic."

"Description": "OMNIPAQUE (iohexol) injection is a nonionic, x-ray or radiographic contrast medium for intrathecal, intravenous, oral, rectal and body cavity use. The chemical name of iohexol is Bis(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)-5-[N-(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)-acetamido]-2,4,6- triiodoisophthalamide with a molecular weight of 821.14 (iodine content 46.36%). Iohexol has the following structural formula. "Description": "OMNIPAQUE (iohexol) injection is a nonionic, x-ray or radiographic contrast medium for intrathecal, intravenous, oral, rectal and body cavity use. OMNIPAQUE oral solution is for oral use only. OMNIPAQUE injection and OMNIPAQUE oral solution are both provided as sterile, pyrogen-free and gluten-free solutions. OMNIPAQUE injection and OMNIPAQUE oral solution are colorless to pale yellow solutions. The chemical name of iohexol is Bis(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)-5-[ N-(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)-acetamido]-2,4,6- triiodoisophthalamide with a molecular weight of 821.14 (iodine content 46.36%). Iohexol has the following structural formula:. OMNIPAQUE injection is available in five strengths: 1 OMNIPAQUE 140 mg iodine/mL (302 mg of iohexol/mL): Each mL contains 140 mg organically bound iodine, 1.21 mg tromethamine and 0.1 mg edetate calcium disodium, 2 OMNIPAQUE 180 mg iodine/mL (388 mg of iohexol/mL): Each mL contains 180 mg organically bound iodine, 1.21 mg tromethamine and 0.1 mg edetate calcium disodium, 3 OMNIPAQUE 240 mg iodine/mL (518 mg of iohexol/mL): Each mL contains 240 mg organically bound iodine, 1.21 mg tromethamine and 0.1 mg edetate calcium disodium, 4 OMNIPAQUE 300 mg iodine/mL (647 mg of iohexol/mL): Each mL contains 300 mg organically bound iodine, 1.21 mg tromethamine and 0.1 mg edetate calcium disodium, 5 OMNIPAQUE 350 mg iodine/mL (755 mg of iohexol/mL): Each mL contains 350 mg organically bound iodine, 1.21 mg tromethamine and 0.1 mg edetate calcium disodium."

"Description": "Iohexol, N, N´ - Bis(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)-5-[ N-(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)-acetamido]-2,4,6-triiodoisophthalamide, is a nonionic, water-soluble radiographic contrast medium with a molecular weight of 821.14 (iodine content 46.36%). In aqueous solution each triiodinated molecule remains undissociated. The chemical structure is:. OMNIPAQUE is provided as a sterile, pyrogen-free, colorless to pale-yellow solution, in Pharmacy Bulk Package, in the following iodine concentrations: 300 and 350 mg Iodine/mL. A Pharmacy Bulk Package is used to dispense multiple single doses, utilizing a suitable transfer device. OMNIPAQUE 300 contains 647 mg of iohexol equivalent to 300 mg of organic iodine per mL; and OMNIPAQUE 350 contains 755 mg of iohexol equivalent to 350 mg of organic iodine per mL. Each milliliter of iohexol solution contains 1.21 mg tromethamine and 0.1 mg edetate calcium disodium with the pH adjusted between 6.8 and 7.7 with hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide. All solutions are sterilized by autoclaving and contain no preservatives. Iohexol solution is sensitive to light and therefore should be protected from exposure. The available concentrations have the following physical properties. OMNIPAQUE 300 and OMNIPAQUE 350 have osmolalities from approximately 2.2 to 3 times that of plasma (285 mOsm/kg water) or cerebrospinal fluid (301 mOsm/kg water) as shown in the above table and are hypertonic under conditions of use."

OMNIPAQUE injection and OMNIPAQUE oral solution are colorless to pale yellow solutions. The chemical name of iohexol is Bis(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)-5-[ N-(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)-acetamido]-2,4,6- triiodoisophthalamide with a molecular weight of 821.14 (iodine content 46.36%). Iohexol has the following structural formula:. "Description": "Iohexol, N, N´ - Bis(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)-5-[ N-(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)-acetamido]-2,4,6-triiodoisophthalamide, is a nonionic, water-soluble radiographic contrast medium with a molecular weight of 821.14 (iodine content 46.36%). In aqueous solution each triiodinated molecule remains undissociated. The chemical structure is:. OMNIPAQUE is provided as a sterile, pyrogen-free, colorless to pale-yellow solution, in Pharmacy Bulk Package, in the following iodine concentrations: 300 and 350 mg Iodine/mL. A Pharmacy Bulk Package is used to dispense multiple single doses, utilizing a suitable transfer device. OMNIPAQUE 300 contains 647 mg of iohexol equivalent to 300 mg of organic iodine per mL; and OMNIPAQUE 350 contains 755 mg of iohexol equivalent to 350 mg of organic iodine per mL. Each milliliter of iohexol solution contains 1.21 mg tromethamine and 0.1 mg edetate calcium disodium with the pH adjusted between 6.8 and 7.7 with hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide. All solutions are sterilized by autoclaving and contain no preservatives. Iohexol solution is sensitive to light and therefore should be protected from exposure. The available concentrations have the following physical properties. OMNIPAQUE 300 and OMNIPAQUE 350 have osmolalities from approximately 2.2 to 3 times that of plasma (285 mOsm/kg water) or cerebrospinal fluid (301 mOsm/kg water) as shown in the above table and are hypertonic under conditions of use."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Desvenlafaxine extended-release tablets, is indicated for the treatment of adults with major depressive disorder (MDD) [ seeClinical Studies (14)].",
"Description": "Desvenlafaxine extended-release is an extended-release tablet for oral administration that contains desvenlafaxine succinate, a structurally novel SNRI for the treatment of MDD. Desvenlafaxine (O-desmethylvenlafaxine) is the major active metabolite of the antidepressant venlafaxine, a medication used to treat major depressive disorder. Desvenlafaxine is designated RS-4-[2-dimethylamino-1-(1-hydroxycyclohexyl)ethyl]phenol and has the empirical formula of C 16H 25NO 2(free base) and C 16H 25NO 2C 4H 6O 4H 2O (succinate monohydrate). Desvenlafaxine succinate monohydrate has a molecular weight of 399.48. The structural formula is shown below. Desvenlafaxine succinate is a white to off-white powder that is soluble in water. The solubility of desvenlafaxine succinate is pH dependent. Its octanol:aqueous system (at pH 7.0) partition coefficient is 0.21.
