"Description": "Dalfampridine is a potassium channel blocker, available in a 10 mg tablet strength. Each tablet contains 10 mg dalfampridine, formulated as an extended-release tablet for twice-daily oral administration. Dalfampridine is also known by its chemical name, 4-aminopyridine, with the following structure. Dalfampridine Extended-Release Tablets are available in a 10 mg strength and are white to off white, oval shaped, biconvex, film-coated, tablets, debossed with \"FH6\" on one side and plain on other side, containing 10 mg of dalfampridine. Inactive ingredients consist of colloidal anhydrous silica, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, and titanium dioxide. Dalfampridine is a fine white powder with a molecular weight of 94.1, CAS 504-24-5, and a molecular formula of C 5H 6N 2. At ambient conditions, dalfampridine is soluble in water, methanol, acetone, tetrahydrofuran, isopropanol, acetonitrile, N,N-dimethylformamide, dimethylsulfoxide, and ethanol."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Hypothyroidism. Levothyroxine sodium tablets are indicated as a replacement therapy in primary (thyroidal), secondary (pituitary), and tertiary (hypothalamic) congenital or acquired hypothyroidism. Pituitary Thyrotropin (Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone, TSH) Suppression. Levothyroxine sodium tablets are indicated as an adjunct to surgery and radioiodine therapy in the management of thyrotropin-dependent well-differentiated thyroid cancer. Limitations of Use: : 1 Levothyroxine sodium tablets are not indicated for suppression of benign thyroid nodules and nontoxic diffuse goiter in iodine-sufficient patients as there are no clinical benefits and overtreatment with levothyroxine sodium tablets may induce hyperthyroidism [see Warnings and Precautions (5.4)]. , 2 Levothyroxine sodium tablets are not indicated for treatment of hypothyroidism during the recovery phase of subacute thyroiditis.",
"Description": "Levothyroxine sodium tablets, USP contain synthetic crystalline L-3,3',5,5'-tetraiodothyronine sodium salt. Synthetic T4 is identical in chemical structure to the T4 produced in the human thyroid gland. Levothyroxine (T4) sodium has an empirical formula of C15H10I4NNaO4 xH2O, molecular weight of 798.86 g/mol (anhydrous), and structural formula as shown. Levothyroxine sodium tablets for oral administration are available in the following strengths: 25 mcg, 50 mcg, 75 mcg, 88 mcg, 100 mcg, 112 mcg, 125 mcg, 137 mcg, 150 mcg, 175 mcg, 200 mcg, and 300 mcg. Each levothyroxine sodium tablet contains the inactive ingredients butylated hydroxyanisole, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, povidone, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate and color additive(s). Table 6 provides a listing of the color additives by tablet strength. FDA approved Dissolution test differs from the USP dissolution test. FDA approved Assay test differs from the USP assay test."

"Description": "Pregabalin, USP is described chemically as (S)-3-(aminomethyl)-5-methylhexanoic acid. The molecular formula is C8H17NO2 and the molecular weight is 159.23. The chemical structure of pregabalin, USP is. Pregabalin, USP is a white to off-white powder with a pKa1 of 4.2 and a pKa2 of 10.6. It is freely soluble in water and both basic and acidic aqueous solutions. The log of the partition coefficient (octanol/ buffer) at pH 7.2 is -1.27. Pregabalin capsules are administered orally and are supplied as imprinted hard-shell capsules containing 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 225, and 300 mg of pregabalin, along with lactose monohydrate, maize starch, and talc as inactive ingredients. The capsule shells contain gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate and titanium dioxide. In addition, the red capsule shells contain red iron oxide.The imprinting ink contains black iron oxide, propylene glycol, potassium hydroxide and shellac."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Hypertension Metoprolol tartrate tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. They may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents. Angina Pectoris Metoprolol tartrate tablets are indicated in the long-term treatment of angina pectoris. Myocardial Infarction. Metoprolol tartrate tablets are indicated in the treatment of hemodynamically stable patients with definite or suspected acute myocardial infarction to reduce cardiovascular mortality when used alone or in conjunction with intravenous metoprolol. Oral metoprolol therapy can be initiated after intravenous metoprolol therapy or, alternatively, oral treatment can begin within 3 to 10 days of the acute event (see DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION, CONTRAINDICATIONS, and WARNINGS.",
"Description": "Metoprolol tartrate, USP is a selective beta1-adrenoreceptor blocking agent, available as 25 mg, 50 mg and 100 mg tablets for oral administration. Metoprolol tartrate USP is (±)-1-(Isopropylamino)-3-[p-2-methoxyethyl)phenoxy]-2-propanol L-(+)-tartrate (2:1) salt, its structural formula is. Metoprolol tartrate USP is a white, practically odorless, crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 684.82. It is very soluble in water; freely soluble in methylene chloride, in chloroform, and in alcohol; slightly soluble in acetone; and insoluble in ether. Each tablet for oral administration contains 25 mg, 50 mg or 100 mg of metoprolol tartrate and the following inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, povidone, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate hypromellose, titanium dioxide and polyethylene glycol. In addition, the 50 mg product contains D&C Red No. 30 Aluminum Lake and the 100 mg product contains FD&C Blue No. 2 Aluminum Lake and FD&C Blue No. 1 Aluminum Lake as coloring agents."

"Description": "Oxazepam, USP is the first of a chemical series of compounds known as the 3- hydroxybenzodiazepinones. A therapeutic agent providing versatility and flexibility in control of common emotional disturbances, this product exerts prompt action in a wide variety of disorders associated with anxiety, tension, agitation, and irritability, and anxiety associated with depression. In tolerance and toxicity studies on several animal species, this product reveals significantly greater safety factors than related compounds (chlordiazepoxide and diazepam) and manifests a wide separation of effective doses and doses inducing side effects. Oxazepam, is 7-chloro-1,3-dihydro-3-hydroxy-5-phenyl-2 H-1,4-benzodiazepin-2-one and has the following structural formula:. MW 286.72. Oxazepam is a white-crystalline powder. Each capsule for oral administration contain 10 mg, 15 mg or 30 mg of oxazepam. Inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, D&C yellow #10, FD&C blue #1, FD&C blue # 2, FD&C red # 40, ferric oxide black, gelatin, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, n-butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, sda-3a alcohol, shellac, sodium lauryl sulfate, titanium dioxide and other inert ingredients. The 15 mg capsule also contains: FD&C yellow # 6. The 30 mg capsule also contains: D&C red # 28."

"Description": "Telmisartan is a non-peptide angiotensin II receptor (type AT1) antagonist. Telmisartan is chemically described as 4'-[(1,4'-dimethyl-2'-propyl [2,6'-bi-1H-benzimidazol]-1'-yl)methyl]-[1,1'-biphenyl]-2-carboxylic acid. Its molecular formula is C33H30N4O2, its molecular weight is 514.63, and its structural formula is. Telmisartan, USP is a white to slightly yellowish solid. It is practically insoluble in water and in the pH range of 3 to 9, sparingly soluble in strong acid (except insoluble in hydrochloric acid), and soluble in strong base. Telmisartan, USP is available as tablets for oral administration, containing 20 mg, 40 mg or 80 mg of telmisartan, USP. The tablets contain the following inactive ingredients: magnesium stearate, mannitol, meglumine, povidone, sodium hydroxide and talc. Telmisartan tablets, USP are hygroscopic and require protection from moisture."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Naloxone hydrochloride injection is indicated for the complete or partial reversal of opioid depression, including respiratory depression, induced by natural and synthetic opioids including propoxyphene, methadone, and certain mixed agonist-antagonist analgesics: nalbuphine, pentazocine, butorphanol and cyclazocine. Naloxone hydrochloride injection is also indicated for diagnosis of suspected or known acute opioid overdosage. Naloxone hydrochloride injection may be useful as an adjunctive agent to increase blood pressure in the management of septic shock (see CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY: Adjunctive Use in Septic Shock).",
"Description": "Naloxone, an opioid antagonist, is a synthetic congener of oxymorphone. In structure it differs from oxymorphone in that the methyl group on the nitrogen atom is replaced by an allyl group. Naloxone hydrochloride, USP is chemically designated 17-Allyl-4,5α-epoxy-3,14-dihydroxymorphinan-6-one hydrochloride (C19H21NO4 HCl), a white to slightly off-white powder soluble in water, in dilute acids, and in strong alkali; slightly soluble in alcohol; practically insoluble in ether and chloroform. It has a molecular weight of 363.84. It has the following structural formula. Naloxone hydrochloride injection is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution of naloxone hydrochloride in water for injection. Each milliliter (mL) contains 0.4 mg naloxone hydrochloride and sodium chloride to adjust tonicity in water for injection. May contain hydrochloric acid for pH adjustment; pH 4 (3 to 6.5). Naloxone hydrochloride injection may be administered intravenously, intramuscularly, or subcutaneously. The single-dose solution contains no bacteriostat, antimicrobial agent or added buffer (except for pH adjustment) and is intended for use only as a single-dose injection. When smaller doses are required, the unused portion should be discarded."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Essential hypertension, alone or as an adjunct.",
"Description": "HydrALAZINE hydrochloride, USP, is an antihypertensive, for oral administration. Its chemical name is 1-hydrazinophthalazine monohydrochloride, and its structural formula is. C8H8N4 HClHydrALAZINE hydrochloride, USP is a white to off-white, odorless crystalline powder. It is soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, and very slightly soluble in ether. It melts at about 275°C, with decomposition, and has a molecular weight of 196.64. Each tablet for oral administration contains 10 mg, 25 mg, 50 mg or 100 mg HydrALAZINE hydrochloride, USP. Tablets also contain microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, stearic acid, povidone K-30, colloidal silicon dioxide, mannitol and FD&C Yellow No 6."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Allopurinol tablets are indicated for: 1 The management of adults with signs and symptoms of primary or secondary gout (acute attacks, tophi, joint destruction, uric acid lithiasis, and/or nephropathy), 2 The management of adult and pediatric patients with leukemia, lymphoma and solid tumor malignancies who are receiving cancer therapy which causes elevations of serum and urinary uric acid levels, 3 The management of adult patients with recurrent calcium oxalate calculi whose daily uric acid excretion exceeds 800 mg/day in male patients and 750 mg/day in female patients, despite lifestyle changes (such as reduction of dietary sodium, non-dairy animal protein, oxylate rich foods, refined sugars and increases in oral fluids and fruits and vegetables).",
"Description": "Allopurinol is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor. It has the following structural formula. Allopurinol is known chemically as 1, 5-dihydro-4H-pyrazolo [3, 4-d]pyrimidin-4-one. and it has a molecular weight of 136.11 g/mol. Its solubility in water at 37°C is 80.0 mg/dL and is greater in an alkaline solution. It is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor which is administered orally. Each scored white to off white round tablet contains 100 mg allopurinol and the inactive ingredients crospovidone, colloidal silicon dioxide, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, pregelatinized starch, and povidone. Each scored white to off white round tablet contains 200 mg allopurinol and the inactive ingredients crospovidone, colloidal silicon dioxide, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, pregelatinized starch, and povidone. Each scored peach round tablet contains 300 mg allopurinol and the inactive ingredients crospovidone, colloidal silicon dioxide, FD&C Yellow No. 6 Lake, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, pregelatinized starch and povidone."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Simvastatin tablet is indicated: To reduce the risk of total mortality by reducing risk of coronary heart disease death, non-fatal myocardial infarction and stroke, and the need for coronary and non-coronary revascularization procedures in adults with established coronary heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, peripheral vascular disease, and/or diabetes, who are at high risk of coronary heart disease events. As an adjunct to diet to reduce low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C): o In adults with primary hyperlipidemia. o In adults and pediatric patients aged 10 years and older with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HeFH). As an adjunct to other LDL-C-lowering therapies to reduce LDL-C in adults with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH). As an adjunct to diet for the treatment of adults with: o Primary dysbetalipoproteinemia. o Hypertriglyceridemia.",
"Description": "Simvastatin is a prodrug of 3-hydoroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase inhibitor that is derived synthetically from a fermentation product of Aspergillus terreus.
