"IndicationAndUsage": "Busulfan Injection is indicated for use in combination with cyclophosphamide as a conditioning regimen prior to allogeneic hematopoietic progenitor cell transplantation for chronic myelogenous leukemia.",
"Description": "Busulfan is a bifunctional alkylating agent known chemically as 1,4-butanediol, dimethanesulfonate. The molecular formula of busulfan is CH 3SO 2O(CH 2) 4OSO 2CH 3with a molecular weight of 246 g/mole. Busulfan has the following chemical structure:. Busulfan Injection is supplied as a clear, colorless, sterile, solution in 10 mL single-dose vials for intravenous administration upon dilution. Each vial contains 60 mg of busulfan in N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMA), 3.3 mL and Polyethylene Glycol 400, NF 6.7 mL. The solubility of busulfan in water is 0.1 g per L and the pH of Busulfan Injection diluted to approximately 0.5 mg per mL busulfan in 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection, USP or 5% Dextrose Injection, USP as recommended for infusion reflects the pH of the diluent used and ranges from 3.5 to 5.5."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Dimethyl fumarate delayed-release capsules are indicated for the treatment of relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS), to include clinically isolated syndrome, relapsing-remitting disease, and active secondary progressive disease, in adults.",
"Description": "Dimethyl fumarate delayed-release capsules, USP contain dimethyl fumarate which is also known by its chemical name, dimethyl (E) butenedioate, (C6H8O4). It has the following structure. Dimethyl fumarate, USP is a white to off-white powder that is highly soluble in water with a molecular mass of 144.13. Dimethyl fumarate delayed-release capsules, USP is provided as hard gelatin delayed-release capsules for oral administration, containing 120 mg or 240 mg of dimethyl fumarate, USP consisting of the following inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, methacrylic acid - ethyl acrylate copolymer type A containing Sodium laurylsulfate, methacrylic acid - ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1) dispersion containing Sodium laurylsulfate and Polysorbate 80, triethyl citrate, and talc. The capsule shell, printed with black ink, contains the following inactive ingredients: gelatin, FD&C Blue No 1, iron oxide black, iron oxide yellow, titanium dioxide. The black imprinting ink contains shellac, propylene glycol, black iron oxide, potassium hydroxide and strong ammonia solution."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Oxycodone hydrochloride oral solution is indicated in adults for the management of pain severe enough to require an opioid analgesic and for which alternative treatments are inadequate. Limitations of Use Because of the risks of addiction, abuse, misuse, overdose, and death, which can occur at any dosage or duration and persist over the course of therapy [see Warnings and Precautions (5.2)], reserve opioid analgesics, including oxycodone hydrochloride, for use in patients for whom alternative treatment options are ineffective, not tolerated, or would be otherwise inadequate to provide sufficient management of pain.",
"Description": "Oxycodone hydrochloride oral solution is an opioid agonist, available as solution in 5 mg/5mL (1 mg/mL) strength for oral administration. Chemically, oxycodone hydrochloride is 4, 5α-epoxy-14-hydroxy-3-methoxy-17-methylmorphinan-6one hydrochloride and has the following structural formula. C18H21NO4HCl MW 351.82. Oxycodone hydrochloride, USP is a white to off-white fine crystalline powder derived from the opium alkaloid, thebaine. Oxycodone hydrochloride dissolves in water (1 g in 6 to 7 mL) and is considered slightly soluble in alcohol (octanol water partition coefficient is 0.7). Oxycodone hydrochloride oral solution USP, 5 mg per 5 mL contains equivalent of 4.5 mg of oxycodone free base per 5 mL and contains the following inactive ingredients: sorbitol solution, saccharin sodium, anhydrous citric acid, sodium citrate dihydrate, sodium benzoate, FD&C red #40, mixed berry flavor, and purified water."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Oxycodone Hydrochloride Oral Solution is indicated in adults for the management of pain severe enough to require an opioid analgesic and for which alternative treatments are inadequate. "Description": "Oxycodone Hydrochloride Oral Solution is an agonist, available as a red solution 5 mg/5 mL (1 mg/mL) and a yellow solution 100 mg/5 mL (20 mg/mL) for oral administration. The chemical name is (5R,9R,13S,14S)-4,5α-epoxy-14-hydroxy-3-methoxy-17-methylmorphinan-6-one hydrochloride. The molecular weight is 351.82. Its molecular formula is C18H21NO4HCl, and it has the following chemical structure. Oxycodone hydrochloride is a white, odorless crystalline powder derived from the opium alkaloid, thebaine. It is soluble in water and slightly soluble in alcohol. The inactive ingredients in Oxycodone Hydrochloride Oral Solution, 5 mg per 5 mL (l mg/mL) include: citric acid anhydrous, FD&C Red #40, natural/artificial berry flavor, purified water, sodium citrate dihydrate, sodium benzoate, saccharin sodium, sorbitol. The inactive ingredients in Oxycodone Hydrochloride Oral Solution 100 mg per 5 mL (20 mg/mL) include: citric acid anhydrous, D&C Yellow #10, natural/artificial berry flavor, purified water, sodium citrate dihydrate, sodium benzoate, saccharin sodium, sorbitol."

Chemically, glimepiride is identified as 1-[[p-[2-(3-ethyl-4-methyl-2-oxo-3-pyrroline-1carboxamido) ethyl]phenyl]sulfonyl]-3-(trans-4-methylcyclohexyl)urea (C 24H 34N 4O 5S) with a molecular weight of 490.62. Glimepiride is a white to yellowish-white, crystalline, odorless to practically odorless powder and is practically insoluble in water. The structural formula is. Glimepiride tablets, USP contain the active ingredient glimepiride and the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, sodium starch glycolate, povidone, and magnesium stearate. In addition, glimepiride tablets, USP 1 mg contain ferric oxide red, glimepiride tablets, USP 2 mg contain ferric oxide yellow and FD &C blue #2 aluminum lake, and glimepiride tablets, USP 4 mg contain FD&C blue #2 aluminum lake."

"Description": "Glimepiride is an oral sulfonylurea that contains the active ingredient glimepiride. Chemically, glimepiride is identified as 1-[[p-[2-(3-ethyl-4-methyl-2-oxo-3-pyrroline-1carboxamido) ethyl]phenyl]sulfonyl]-3-(trans-4-methylcyclohexyl)urea (C 24H 34N 4O 5S) with a molecular weight of 490.62. Glimepiride is a white to yellowish-white, crystalline, odorless to practically odorless powder and is practically insoluble in water. The structural formula is. Glimepiride tablets, USP contain the active ingredient glimepiride and the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, sodium starch glycolate, povidone, and magnesium stearate. "IndicationAndUsage": "Glimepiride tablets are indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus [see Clinical Studies( 14.1)]. Limitations of Use. Glimepiride tablets should not be used for the treatment of type 1 diabetes mellitus or diabetic ketoacidosis, as it would not be effective in these settings.",

The empirical formula of simvastatin is C 25H 38O 5and its molecular weight is 418.57. Its structural formula is:. Simvastatin is a white to off-white, nonhygroscopic, crystalline powder that is practically insoluble in water, and freely soluble in chloroform, methanol and ethanol. Simvastatin tablets USP for oral administration contain either 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, 40 mg or 80 mg of simvastatin and the following inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose E5, croscarmellose sodium, ferric oxide red, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, maize starch, talc, titanium dioxide, butylated hydroxyanisole, ascorbic acid, citric acid monohydrate, and triethyl citrate."
