"IndicationAndUsage": "Zolpidem tartrate tablets, USP a gamma-amino butyric acid (GABA) A receptor positive modulator, is indicated for the short-term treatment of insomnia characterized by difficulties with sleep initiation.",
"Description": "Zolpidem tartrate, a gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) A receptor positive modulator of the imidazopyridine class. Zolpidem tartrate is available in 5 mg and 10 mg strength tablets for oral administration. Chemically, zolpidem is N,N,6-trimethyl-2-p-tolylimidazo[1,2-a] pyridine-3-acetamide L-(+)-tartrate (2:1). It has the following structure:. Zolpidem tartrate, USP is a white to off-white crystalline powder that is sparingly soluble in water, alcohol, and propylene glycol. It has a molecular weight of 764.88. Each zolpidem tartrate tablet, USP includes the following inactive ingredients: hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol, sodium starch glycolate, titanium dioxide and ferric oxide red; the 10 mg tablet also contains ferric oxide yellow."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Fluoxetine is indicated for the treatment of. : 1 Acute and maintenance treatment of Major Depressive Disorder [see Clinical Studies (14.1)] . , 2 Acute and maintenance treatment of obsessions and compulsions in patients with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) [see Clinical Studies (14.2)] . , 3 Acute and maintenance treatment of binge-eating and vomiting behaviors in patients with moderate to severe Bulimia Nervosa [see Clinical Studies (14.3)] . , 4 Acute treatment of Panic Disorder, with or without agoraphobia [see Clinical Studies (14.4)] . .",
"Description": "Fluoxetine capsules, USP are a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor for oral administration. It is designated (±)-N-methyl-3-phenyl-3- [(α,α,α-trifluoro-p-tolyl)oxy]propylamine hydrochloride and has the empirical formula of C 17H 18F 3NOHCl. Its molecular weight is 345.79. The structural formula is:. Fluoxetine hydrochloride, USP is a white to off-white crystalline powder with a solubility of 14 mg/mL in water. Each capsule contains fluoxetine hydrochloride equivalent to 10 mg (32.3 μmol), 20 mg (64.7 μmol), or 40 mg (129.3 μmol) of fluoxetine. The capsules also contain the following inactive ingredients: pregelatinized starch (maize [corn]), colloidal silicon dioxide, gelatin, sodium lauryl sulphate, FD&C Blue #1, FD&C Red #3, and titanium dioxide. In addition 20 mg capsules also contains D&C Yellow #10 and 10 mg capsules also contains FD&C Yellow #6. The capsules are printed with edible ink containing black iron oxide, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, shellac and strong ammonia solution."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Furosemide tablets are indicated in adults and pediatric patients for the treatment of edema associated with congestive heart failure, cirrhosis of the liver, and renal disease, including the nephrotic syndrome. Furosemide tablets are particularly useful when an agent with greater diuretic potential is desired.",
"Description": "Furosemide tablets are a diuretic which is an anthranilic acid derivative. Furosemide tablets for oral administration contain furosemide as the active ingredient and the following inactive ingredients: corn starch, lactose anhydrous, magnesium stearate, pregelatinized starch, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, and colloidal silicon dioxide. Chemically, it is 4-chloro-N-furfuryl- 5-sulfamoylanthranilic acid. Furosemide tablets are available as white tablets for oral administration in dosage strengths of 20, 40 and 80 mg. Furosemide is a white to off-white odorless crystalline powder. It is practically insoluble in water, sparingly soluble in alcohol, freely soluble in dilute alkali solutions and insoluble in dilute acids. The CAS Registry Number is 54-31-9. The structural formula is as follows."

The chemical name of metformin hydrochloride is N,N-dimethylimidodicarbonimidic diamide hydrochloride. The structural formula is as shown below:. Metformin hydrochloride is a white to off-white crystalline compound with a molecular formula of C 4H 11N 5 ∙ HCl and a molecular weight of 165.63. It is freely soluble in water and is practically insoluble in acetone, ether, and chloroform. The pKa of metformin is 12.4. The pH of a 1% aqueous solution of metformin hydrochloride is 6.68. Metformin hydrochloride tablets, USP contain 500 mg, 850 mg or 1,000 mg of metformin hydrochloride, which is equivalent to 389.93 mg, 662.88 mg, 779.86 mg metformin base, respectively. Each tablet contains the inactive ingredients povidone and magnesium stearate. In addition, the coating for the 500 mg, 850 mg and 1,000 mg tablets contains hypromellose and polyethylene glycol."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Benzphetamine hydrochloride tablets, USP are indicated in the management of exogenous obesity as a short term (a few weeks) adjunct in a regimen of weight reduction based on caloric restriction in patients with an initial body mass index (BMI) of 30 kg/m2 or higher who have not responded to appropriate weight reducing regimen (diet and/or exercise) alone. Below is a chart of Body Mass Index (BMI) based on various heights and weights. BMI is calculated by taking the patient's weight, in kilograms (kg), divided by the patient's height, in meters (m), squared. Metric conversions are as follows: pounds ÷2.2 = kg; inches × 0.0254 = meters. The limited usefulness of agents of this class (See CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY) should be weighed against possible risks inherent in their use such as those described below. Benzphetamine hydrochloride tablets, USP are indicated for use as monotherapy only.",
"Description": "Benzphetamine hydrochloride tablets contain the anorectic agent benzphetamine hydrochloride. Benzphetamine hydrochloride is a white crystalline powder readily soluble in water and 95% ethanol. The chemical name for benzphetamine hydrochloride is d-N,α-Dimethyl-N -(phenylmethyl)-benzeneethanamine hydrochloride and its molecular weight is 275.82. The structural formula (dextro form) is represented below. Each benzphetamine hydrochloride tablet, for oral administration, contains 50 mg of benzphetamine hydrochloride. Inactive Ingredients: carnauba wax powder, colloidal silicon dioxide, FD&C red # 40 aluminum lake, FD&C yellow # 6 aluminum lake, lactose monohydrate, macrogol/polyethylene glycol 3350, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose 101, polyvinyl alcohol – partially hydrolyzed, sodium starch glycolate, talc and titanium dioxide."

The inactive ingredients in each immediate-release tablet are: crospovidone, lactose anhydrous, magnesium stearate, starch pregelatinized and tartaric acid. Diethylpropion hydrochloride is a sympathomimetic agent. The chemical name for diethylpropion hydrochloride is 1-phenyl-2-diethylamino-1-propanone hydrochloride. Its chemical structure is."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Diethylpropion hydrochloride extended release tablets, 75 mg are indicated in the management of exogenous obesity as a short-term adjunct (a few weeks) in a regimen of weight reduction based on caloric restriction in patients with an initial body mass index (BMI) of 30 kg/m 2or higher and who have not responded to appropriate weight reducing regimen (diet and/or exercise) alone. Below is a chart of BMI based on various heights and weights. BMI is calculated by taking the patient’s weight, in kilograms (kg), divided by the patient’s height, in meters (m), squared. Metric conversions are as follows: pounds divided by 2.2 = kg; inches x 0.0254 = meters. The usefulness of agents of this class (See CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY) should be measured against possible risk factors inherent in their use such as those described below. Diethylpropion hydrochloride extended release tablets, 75 mg are indicated for use as monotherapy only.",
"Description": "Diethylpropion Hydrochloride Extended Release Tablets, 75 mg are available for oral administration as extended release tablets containing 75 mg diethylpropion hydrochloride, USP. The inactive ingredients in each extended release tablet are: mannitol, carbomer homopolymer, tartaric acid, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, povidone, and magnesium stearate. Diethylpropion hydrochloride is a sympathomimetic agent. The chemical name for diethylpropion hydrochloride is 1-phenyl-2-diethyl-amino-1-propanone hydrochloride. Its chemical structure is. In diethylpropion hydrochloride extended release tablets, 75 mg, diethylpropion hydrochloride is dispersed in a hydrophilic matrix. On exposure to water, the diethylpropion hydrochloride is released at a relatively uniform rate as a result of slow hydration of the matrix. The result is controlled release of the anorectic agent."

"Description": "Phendimetrazine tartrate, as the dextro isomer, has the chemical name of (2S,3S)-3,4-Dimethyl-2-phenylmorpholine L-(+)- tartrate (1:1). The structural formula is. Phendimetrazine tartrate is a white, odorless crystalline powder. It is freely soluble in water; sparingly soluble in warm alcohol, insoluble in chloroform, acetone, ether and benzene. Each white tablet, for oral administration, contains 35 mg of phendimetrazine tartrate. In addition, the following inactive ingredients are present: Colloidal Silicon Dioxide, Lactose Monohydrate, Microcrystalline Cellulose 102, Sodium Starch Glycolate and Stearic Acid. The yellow tablet also contains FD&C Yellow # 5 Aluminum Lake (15-17%). The blue tablet also contains FD&C Blue # 1 Aluminum Lake (11-13%)."

LOMAIRA tablet is available as an oral tablet containing 8 mg of phentermine hydrochloride (equivalent to 6.4 mg of phentermine base). Each LOMAIRA tablet also contains the following inactive ingredients: Corn Starch, Magnesium Stearate, NF, Microcrystalline Cellulose 102, NF, Stearic Acid, NF, FD&C Blue #1, Sucrose and Pharmaceutical Glaze."

C 10H 15NHCl M.W. 185.7. Phentermine hydrochloride is a white, odorless, hygroscopic, crystalline powder which is soluble in water and lower alcohols, slightly soluble in chloroform and insoluble in ether. Phentermine hydrochloride capsule USP is available as an oral capsule containing 15 mg or 30 mg of phentermine hydrochloride (equivalent to 12 mg or 24 mg of phentermine base). a) powder-filled capsules containing 15 mg phentermine hydrochloride (equivalent to 12 mg phentermine) or 30 mg phentermine hydrochloride (equivalent to 24 mg phentermine) and inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, gelatin, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate. In addition, the 15 mg capsules contain black iron oxide, FD&C red No. 3, FD&C yellow No. 5, titanium dioxide; and the blue and clear 30 mg capsules contain D&C red No. 28, FD&C blue No. 1. The ingredients in the black imprinting ink are shellac, dehydrated alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, purified water, strong ammonia solution, potassium hydroxide and black iron oxide."

BMI is calculated by taking the patient’s weight, in kilograms (kg), divided by the patient’s height, in meters (m), squared. Metric conversions are as follows: pounds ÷ 2.2 = kg; inches x 0.0254 = meters. The limited usefulness of agents of this class, including Phentermine hydrochloride, [see CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY ( 12.1, 12.2) ] should be measured against possible risk factors inherent in their use such as those described below.",
"Description": "Phentermine hydrochloride is a sympathomimetic amine anorectic. Its chemical name is α,α,-dimethylphenethylamine hydrochloride. The structural formula is as follows. Phentermine hydrochloride is a white, odorless, hygroscopic, crystalline powder which is soluble in water and lower alcohols, slightly soluble in chloroform and insoluble in ether. Phentermine hydrochloride is available as a capsule and tablet containing 37.5 mg of phentermine hydrochloride (equivalent to 30 mg of phentermine base). Phentermine hydrochloride capsules, USP contain the inactive ingredients: corn starch, D&C Red #33, FD&C Blue #1, gelatin, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate and titanium dioxide. Phentermine hydrochloride tablets, USP contain the inactive ingredients: corn starch, colloidal silicon dioxide, FD&C blue #1, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, and sucrose."

C 10H 15NHCl M.W. 185.7. Phentermine hydrochloride is a white, odorless, hygroscopic, crystalline powder which is soluble in water and lower alcohols, slightly soluble in chloroform and insoluble in ether. Phentermine hydrochloride, an anorectic agent for oral administration, is available as a capsule or tablet containing 37.5 mg of phentermine hydrochloride (equivalent to 30 mg of phentermine base). Phentermine hydrochloride capsules, USP 37.5 mg contain the inactive ingredients Colloidal Silicon Dioxide, Corn Starch, FD&C Blue # 1, FD&C Red # 3, FD&C Yellow # 6, Gelatin, Lactose Monohydrate, Magnesium Stearate, and Titanium Dioxide. The ingredients in the black imprinting ink are shellac, dehydrated alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, purified water, strong ammonia solution, potassium hydroxide and black iron oxide. Phentermine hydrochloride tablets, USP 37.5 mg contain the inactive ingredients Colloidal Silicon Dioxide, Corn Starch, FD&C Blue # 1, Lactose Monohydrate, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Pregelatinized Starch (botanical source: maize), Sugar Spheres, and Stearic Acid."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Tofacitinib is a Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor:Tofacitinib extended-release tablets are indicated for the treatment of adult patients with: 1 Moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis (RA), who have had an inadequate response or intolerance to one or more TNF blockers., 2 Active psoriatic arthritis (PsA), who have had an inadequate response or intolerance to one or more TNF blockers., 3 Active ankylosing spondylitis (AS), who have had an inadequate response or intolerance to one or more TNF blockers.",
"Description": "Tofacitinib extended-release tablets is formulated with the citrate salt of tofacitinib, a JAK inhibitor. Tofacitinib citrate is a white to off-white powder with the following chemical name: (3R,4R)-4-methyl-3-(methyl-7H-pyrrolo [2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-ylamino)-ß-oxo-1- piperidinepropanenitrile, 2-hydroxy-1,2,3-propanetricarboxylate (1:1). The solubility of tofacitinib citrate in water is 2.9 mg/mL. Tofacitinib citrate has a molecular weight of 504.5 Daltons (or 312.4 Daltons as the tofacitinib free base) and a molecular formula of C16H20N6OC6H 8O7. The chemical structure of tofacitinib citrate is. Tofacitinib extended-release tablets is supplied for oral administration as a 11 mg brownish red, oval, extended-release film-coated tablet debossed with \"11\" on one side. Each 11 mg tablet of tofacitinib extended-release contains 11 mg tofacitinib (equivalent to 17.77 mg tofacitinib citrate) and the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose 2208 K100LV, mannitol DC200, hydroxypropyl cellulose (Klucel EXF), magnesium stearate and pink film coating. Coloring film coat contains: hypromellose 2910, titanium dioxide, triacetin and iron oxide red."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Diazepam tablets are indicated for the management of anxiety disorders or for the short-term relief of the symptoms of anxiety. Anxiety or tension associated with the stress of everyday life usually does not require treatment with an anxiolytic. In acute alcohol withdrawal, diazepam tablets may be useful in the symptomatic relief of acute agitation, tremor, impending or acute delirium tremens and hallucinosis. Diazepam is a useful adjunct for the relief of skeletal muscle spasm due to reflex spasm to local pathology (such as inflammation of the muscles or joints, or secondary to trauma), spasticity caused by upper motor neuron disorders (such as cerebral palsy and paraplegia), athetosis, and stiff-man syndrome. Oral diazepam may be used adjunctively in convulsive disorders, although it has not proved useful as the sole therapy. The effectiveness of diazepam in long-term use, that is, more than 4 months, has not been assessed by systematic clinical studies. The physician should periodically reassess the usefulness of the drug for the individual patient.",
"Description": "Diazepam tablets, USP are a benzodiazepine derivative. The chemical name of diazepam, USP is 7-chloro-1,3-dihydro-1-methyl-5-phenyl-2H-1,4-benzodiazepin-2-one. It is an off-white to yellow crystalline powder, insoluble in water. The structural formula is as follows. C 16H 13ClN 2O M.W. 284.74. Diazepam tablets, USP are available as 2 mg, 5 mg, or 10 mg tablets for oral administration containing the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous lactose, colloidal silicon dioxide; colorants: 5 mg only (D&C Yellow No. 10 aluminum lake and FD&C Yellow No. 6); 10 mg only (FD&C Blue No. 1 aluminum lake); magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized corn starch, and sodium starch glycolate."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Major Depressive Disorder– Sertraline hydrochloride is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder in adults. The efficacy of Sertraline hydrochloride in the treatment of a major depressive episode was established in six to eight week controlled trials of adult outpatients whose diagnoses corresponded most closely to the DSM-III category of major depressive disorder (see Clinical Trials under CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY). A major depressive episode implies a prominent and relatively persistent depressed or dysphoric mood that usually interferes with daily functioning (nearly every day for at least 2 weeks); it should include at least 4 of the following 8 symptoms: change in appetite, change in sleep, psychomotor agitation or retardation, loss of interest in usual activities or decrease in sexual drive, increased fatigue, feelings of guilt or worthlessness, slowed thinking or impaired concentration, and a suicide attempt or suicidal ideation. The antidepressant action of sertraline hydrochloride in hospitalized depressed patients has not been adequately studied. The efficacy of sertraline hydrochloride in maintaining an antidepressant response for up to 44 weeks following 8 weeks of open-label acute treatment (52 weeks total) was demonstrated in a placebo-controlled trial. The usefulness of the drug in patients receiving sertraline hydrochloride for extended periods should be reevaluated periodically (see Clinical Trials under CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY). Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder– Sertraline hydrochloride is indicated for the treatment of obsessions and compulsions in patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), as defined in the DSM-III-R; i.e., the obsessions or compulsions cause marked distress, are time-consuming, or significantly interfere with social or occupational functioning. The efficacy of Sertraline hydrochloride was established in 12-week trials with obsessive-compulsive outpatients having diagnoses of obsessive-compulsive disorder as defined according to DSM-III or DSM-III-R criteria (see Clinical Trials under CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY). Obsessive-compulsive disorder is characterized by recurrent and persistent ideas, thoughts, impulses, or images (obsessions) that are ego-dystonic and/or repetitive, purposeful, and intentional behaviors (compulsions) that are recognized by the person as excessive or unreasonable. The efficacy of Sertraline hydrochloride in maintaining a response, in patients with OCD who responded during a 52-week treatment phase while taking Sertraline hydrochloride and were then observed for relapse during a period of up to 28 weeks, was demonstrated in a placebo-controlled trial (see Clinical Trials under CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY). Nevertheless, the physician who elects to use Sertraline hydrochloride for extended periods should periodically re-evaluate the long-term usefulness of the drug for the individual patient (see DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION). Panic Disorder– Sertraline hydrochloride is indicated for the treatment of panic disorder in adults, with or without agoraphobia, as defined in DSM-IV. Panic disorder is characterized by the occurrence of unexpected panic attacks and associated concern about having additional attacks, worry about the implications or consequences of the attacks, and/or a significant change in behavior related to the attacks. The efficacy of Sertraline hydrochloride was established in three 10-12 week trials in adult panic disorder patients whose diagnoses corresponded to the DSM-III-R category of panic disorder (see Clinical Trials under CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY). Panic disorder (DSM-IV) is characterized by recurrent unexpected panic attacks, i.e., a discrete period of intense fear or discomfort in which four (or more) of the following symptoms develop abruptly and reach a peak within 10 minutes: (1) palpitations, pounding heart, or accelerated heart rate; (2) sweating; (3) trembling or shaking; (4) sensations of shortness of breath or smothering; (5) feeling of choking; (6) chest pain or discomfort; (7) nausea or abdominal distress; (8) feeling dizzy, unsteady, lightheaded, or faint; (9) derealization (feelings of unreality) or depersonalization (being detached from oneself); (10) fear of losing control; (11) fear of dying; (12) paresthesias (numbness or tingling sensations); (13) chills or hot flushes. The efficacy of Sertraline hydrochloride in maintaining a response, in adult patients with panic disorder who responded during a 52-week treatment phase while taking Sertraline hydrochloride and were then observed for relapse during a period of up to 28 weeks, was demonstrated in a placebo-controlled trial (see Clinical Trials under CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY).
