"IndicationAndUsage": "Pregabalin is indicated for: 1 Management of neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy, 2 Management of postherpetic neuralgia, 3 Adjunctive therapy for the treatment of partial-onset seizures in patients 1 month of age and older, 4 Management of fibromyalgia, 5 Management of neuropathic pain associated with spinal cord injury.",
"Description": "Pregabalin is described chemically as (S)-3-(aminomethyl)-5-methylhexanoic acid. The molecular formula is C8H17NO2 and the molecular weight is 159.23. The chemical structure of pregabalin is. Pregabalin is a white to off-white, crystalline solid with a pKa1 of 4.2 and a pKa2 of 10.6. It is freely soluble in water and both basic and acidic aqueous solutions. The log of the partition coefficient (n-octanol/0.05M phosphate buffer) at pH 7.4 is – 1.35. Pregabalin capsules are administered orally and are supplied as imprinted hard-shell capsules containing 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 225, and 300 mg of pregabalin, along with lactose monohydrate, cornstarch, and talc as inactive ingredients. The capsule shells contain gelatin and titanium dioxide. In addition, the orange capsule shells contain red iron oxide and the white capsule shells contain sodium lauryl sulfate and colloidal silicon dioxide. Colloidal silicon dioxide is a manufacturing aid that may or may not be present in the capsule shells. The imprinting ink contains shellac, black iron oxide, propylene glycol, and potassium hydroxide. Pregabalin oral solution, 20 mg/mL, is administered orally and is supplied as a clear, colorless solution contained in a 16 fluid ounce white HDPE bottle with a polyethylene-lined closure. The oral solution contains 20 mg/mL of pregabalin, along with methylparaben, propylparaben, monobasic sodium phosphate anhydrous, dibasic sodium phosphate anhydrous, sucralose, artificial strawberry #11545 and purified water as inactive ingredients."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Irbesartan tablet is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) indicated for: Treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions. ( 1.1) Treatment of diabetic nephropathy in hypertensive patients with type 2 diabetes, an elevated serum creatinine, and proteinuria. ( 1.2).",

Irbesartan is a non-peptide compound, chemically described as a 2-butyl-3 -[p-(o-1 H-tetrazol-5-ylphenyl)benzyl]-1,3-diazaspiro[4.4] non-1-en-4-one. Its molecular formula is C 25H 28N 6O, and the structural formula:. Irbesartan USP is a white to off-white crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 428.53. It is a nonpolar compound with a partition coefficient (octanol/water) of 10.1 at pH of 7.4. Irbesartan is slightly soluble in ethanol and methylene chloride and practically insoluble in water. Irbesartan is available for oral administration in unscored tablets containing 75 mg, 150 mg, or 300 mg of irbesartan USP. Inactive ingredients include: calcium stearate, carboxy methyl cellulose calcium, colloidal silicon dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose and povidone."

"IndicationAndUsage": "1.1 Treatment of Osteoporosis in Postmenopausal Women. Alendronate sodium tablets, USP are indicated for the treatment of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. In postmenopausal women, alendronate sodium tablets, USP increase bone mass and reduce the incidence of fractures, including those of the hip and spine (vertebral compression fractures). [See Clinical Studies (14.1).]. 1.2 Prevention of Osteoporosis in Postmenopausal Women. Alendronate sodium tablets, USP are indicated for the prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis [see Clinical Studies (14.2)]. 1.3 Treatment to Increase Bone Mass in Men with Osteoporosis. Alendronate sodium tablets, USP are indicated for treatment to increase bone mass in men with osteoporosis [see Clinical Studies (14.3)]. 1.4 Treatment of Glucocorticoid-Induced Osteoporosis. Alendronate sodium tablets, USP are indicated for the treatment of glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis in men and women receiving glucocorticoids in a daily dosage equivalent to 7.5 mg or greater of prednisone and who have low bone mineral density [see Clinical Studies (14.4)]. 1.5 Treatment of Paget's Disease of Bone. Alendronate sodium tablets, USP are indicated for the treatment of Paget's disease of bone in men and women. Treatment is indicated in patients with Paget's disease of bone who have alkaline phosphatase at least two times the upper limit of normal, or those who are symptomatic, or those at risk for future complications from their disease. [See Clinical Studies (14.5).]. 1.6 Important Limitations of Use. The optimal duration of use has not been determined. The safety and effectiveness of alendronate sodium for the treatment of osteoporosis are based on clinical data of four years duration. All patients on bisphosphonate therapy should have the need for continued therapy re-evaluated on a periodic basis. Patients at low-risk for fracture should be considered for drug discontinuation after 3 to 5 years of use. Patients who discontinue therapy should have their risk for fracture re-evaluated periodically.",
"Description": "Alendronate sodium is a bisphosphonate that acts as a specific inhibitor of osteoclast-mediated bone resorption. Bisphosphonates are synthetic analogs of pyrophosphate that bind to the hydroxyapatite found in bone. Alendronate sodium is chemically described as (4-amino-1-hydroxybutylidene) bisphosphonic acid monosodium salt trihydrate. The empirical formula of alendronate sodium is C4H12NNaO7P23H2O and its formula weight is 325.12. The structural formula is. [1]. Alendronate sodiumis a white, crystalline, nonhygroscopic powder. It is soluble in water, very slightly soluble in alcohol, and practically insoluble in chloroform. Each tablet, for oral administration contains: 6.53, 13.05, 45.68, 52.21 or 91.37 mg of alendronate monosodium salt trihydrate, which is the molar equivalent of 5, 10, 35, 40 and 70 mg, respectively, of free acid, and the following inactive ingredients: magnesium stearate, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate and starch."

"Description": "Glipizide is an oral blood-glucose-lowering drug of the sulfonylurea class.
