"Description": "Diltiazem Hydrochloride Injection is a calcium ion influx inhibitor (slow channel blocker or calcium channel antagonist). Chemically, diltiazem hydrochloride is 1,5-benzothiazepin-4(5H)one,3-(acetyloxy)-5-[2-(dimethylamino)ethyl]-2, 3-dihydro-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-, monohydrochloride, (+)-cis-. The structural formula is:. Diltiazem hydrochloride is a white to off-white crystalline powder with a bitter taste. It is soluble in water, methanol, and chloroform. Diltiazem Hydrochloride Injection is a clear, colorless, sterile, nonpyrogenic solution. It has a pH range of 3.7 to 4.1. Diltiazem Hydrochloride Injection is for direct intravenous bolus injection and continuous intravenous infusion. Each mL contains 5 mg of diltiazem hydrochloride, 0.75 mg citric acid (hydrous), USP, 0.65 mg sodium citrate dihydrate, USP, 71.4 mg sorbitol solution, USP, and water for injection, USP. Sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid is used for pH adjustment."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Clorazepate dipotassium tablets are indicatedfor the management of anxiety disordersorfortheshort-term relief of the symptoms of anxiety. Anxiety or tensionassociatedwith the stress of everyday life usually does not require treatmentwith an anxiolytic. Clorazepate dipotassium tablets are indicated as adjunctivetherapy in themanagement of partialseizures. Theeffectiveness of Clorazepate dipotassium tablets in long-term management of anxiety, that is,more than 4 months, has not beenassessed by systematicclinicalstudies.Long-term studies in epilepticpatients,however, have showncontinuedtherapeuticactivity.Thephysician should reassessperiodically the usefulnessof the drug for the individualpatient. Clorazepate dipotassium tabletsare indicatedfor the symptomaticrelief of acute alcoholwithdrawal.",
"Description": "Chemically, Clorazepate dipotassium is a benzodiazepine. The empirical formula is C16H11ClK2N2O4; the molecular weight is 408.92; 1H-1, 4 Benzodiazepine-3-carboxylic acid, 7-chloro-2,3-dihydro-2-oxo-5-phenyl-, potassium salt compound with potassium hydroxide (1:1) and the structural formula may be represented as follows. The compound occurs as a fine, light yellow, practically odorless powder. It is insoluble in the common organic solvents, but very soluble in water. Aqueous solutions are unstable, clear, light yellow, and alkaline. Clorazepate dipotassium tablets, USP contain 3.75 mg, 7.5 mg or 15 mg of clorazepate dipotassium, USP for oral administration. Inactive ingredients for Clorazepate dipotassium tablets: croscarmellose sodium, magnesium oxide, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, potassium carbonate, sodium chloride and sodium lauryl sulfate. The 3.75 mg tablets also contain FD&C Blue No. 2 Aluminum Lake and the 7.5 mg tablets also contain FD&C Yellow No. 6 Aluminum Lake."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Amlodipine besylate and atorvastatin calcium tablets are indicated in patients for whom treatment with both amlodipine and atorvastatin is appropriate. Amlodipine.",
"Description": "Amlodipine besylate and atorvastatin calcium tablets combine the calcium channel blocker amlodipine besylate USP with the HMG CoA-reductase inhibitor atorvastatin calcium. The amlodipine besylate USP is chemically described as 3-ethyl-5-methyl (4RS)-2-[(2-aminoethoxy)methyl]-4-(2-chlorophenyl)-6-methyl-1,4-dihydropyridine-3,5-dicarboxylate benzenesulphonate. Its molecular formula is C20H25ClN2O5C6H6O3S. The atorvastatin calcium is chemically described as [R-(R*, R*)]-2-(4-fluorophenyl)-ß, δ-dihydroxy-5-(1-methylethyl)-3-phenyl-4-[(phenylamino)carbonyl]-1H-pyrrole-1-heptanoic acid, calcium salt (2:1). Its molecular formula is C66H68CaF2N4O10. The structural formulae for amlodipine besylate USP and atorvastatin calcium are shown below. Amlodipine besylate and atorvastatin calcium contains amlodipine besylate USP, a white or almost white powder, and atorvastatin calcium, a white to off-white colored powder, free from visible extraneous matter. Amlodipine besylate USP has a molecular weight of 567.1 and atorvastatin calcium has a molecular weight of 1155.36. Amlodipine besylate USP is freely soluble in methanol, sparingly soluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in water and in 2-proponal. Atorvastatin calcium is soluble in dimethyl sulphoxide, slightly soluble in alcohol, very slightly soluble in water, in pH 7.4 phosphate buffer and in acetonitrile and practically insoluble in aqueous solutions of pH 4 and below. "IndicationAndUsage": "Dextroamphetamine saccharate, amphetamine aspartate monohydrate, dextroamphetamine sulfate and amphetamine sulfate extended-release capsules, a CNS stimulant, is indicated for the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). (1): 1 Children (ages 6-12): Efficacy was established in one 3-week outpatient, controlled trial and one analogue classroom, controlled trial in children with ADHD. (14), 2 Adolescents (ages 13-17): Efficacy was established in one 4-week controlled trial in adolescents with ADHD. (14), 3 Adults: Efficacy was established in one 4-week controlled trial in adults with ADHD. (14).",
"Description": "Dextroamphetamine saccharate, amphetamine aspartate monohydrate, dextroamphetamine sulfate and amphetamine sulfate extended-release capsules contain mixed salts of a single-entity amphetamine, a CNS stimulant. Dextroamphetamine saccharate, amphetamine aspartate monohydrate, dextroamphetamine sulfate and amphetamine sulfate extended-release capsules contains equal amounts (by weight) of four salts: dextroamphetamine sulfate, amphetamine sulfate, dextroamphetamine saccharate and amphetamine (D,L)-aspartate monohydrate. This results in a 3.1:1 mixture of dextro- to levo- amphetamine base equivalent. The 5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg, 20 mg, 25 mg and 30 mg strength extended release capsules are for oral administration. Dextroamphetamine saccharate, amphetamine aspartate monohydrate, dextroamphetamine sulfate and amphetamine sulfate extended-release capsules contains two types of drug-containing beads (immediate-release and delayed release) which prolong the release of amphetamine compared to the dextroamphetamine saccharate, amphetamine aspartate, dextroamphetamine sulfate and amphetamine sulfate (immediate-release) tablet formulation. Each capsule contains. Inactive Ingredients and Colors. The inactive ingredients in dextroamphetamine saccharate, amphetamine aspartate monohydrate, dextroamphetamine sulfate and amphetamine sulfate extended-release capsules include: Sugar spheres, hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose, talc, triethyl citrate, methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer, hard gelatin capsules, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol, iron oxide yellow, polysorbate 80, iron oxide red. The 5 mg capsule shell contain Titanium dioxide, FD & C Blue 1, FD & C Red 40, gelatin and sodium lauryl sulfate. The 10 mg capsule shell contain Titanium dioxide, FD & C Blue 1, FD & C Red 40, gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate and D&C Red 28. The 15 mg capsule shell contain Titanium dioxide, FD & C Blue 1, D & C Red 28, gelatin and sodium lauryl sulfate. The 20 mg capsule shell contain Titanium dioxide, FD & C Red 3, FD & C Yellow 6, FD & C Blue 1, gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate and FD & C Red 40. The 25 mg capsule shell contain Titanium dioxide, FD & C Red 40, FD & C Yellow 6, gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate. The 30 mg capsule shell contain Titanium dioxide, FD & C Yellow 6, D & C Yellow 10, sodium lauryl sulfate and gelatin. The ink ingredients common for all strengths are shellac, dehydrated alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, propylene glycol, strong ammonia solution, black iron oxide, potassium hydroxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Allergenic extract may be used as a diagnostic skin test reagent in persons suspected of being sensitive to the allergenic source material from which the extract is made. Skin tests should be used in conjunction with a thorough allergic history to establish the relevance of a given allergen in the etiology of allergic disease. (4,5,6) Immunotherapy with allergenic extract is indicated in persons suffering from allergic rhinitis, bronchitis, conjunctivitis, urticaria and asthma. The therapeutic efficacy of allergenic extract has been proven in ragweed, grass, and mountain cedar pollinosis, cat-induced asthma and hypersensitivity to hymenoptera venoms. (7-12). Immunotherapy may be used along with or exclusive of antihistamines and other medications used to control allergic symptoms.",
"Description": "Allergenic extract contains the aqueous extractables from allergenic source material in extracting solution containing 0.25% sodium chloride, 0.125% sodium bicarbonate, and 50% glycerol. 0.4% phenol is added as a preservative. The weight by volume value shown on the label is a measurement of extract concentration, rather than extract potency. Extracts for which U.S. standards exist are labeled in allergy units, in addition to w/v strength."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Carefully consider the potential benefits and risks of ibuprofen tablets and other treatment options before deciding to use ibuprofen. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration consistent with individual patient treatment goals (see WARNINGS). Ibuprofen tablets are indicated for relief of the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Ibuprofen tablets are indicated for relief of mild to moderate pain. Ibuprofen tablets are also indicated for the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea. Controlled clinical trials to establish the safety and effectiveness of ibuprofen tablets in children have not been conducted.",
"Description": "Ibuprofen tablets contain the active ingredient ibuprofen, which is (±)-2-(p-isobutylphenyl) propionic acid. Ibuprofen is a white powder with a melting point of 74 to 77° C and is very slightly soluble in water (<1 mg/mL) and readily soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and acetone. The structural formula is represented below. Ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), is available in 400 mg, 600 mg and 800 mg tablets for oral administration. Inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose 2910, hydroxypropyl cellulose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol 400, pregelatinized starch, povidone k-90, sodium lauryl sulphate, titanium dioxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Tramadol hydrochloride tablets are indicated in adults for the management of pain severe enough to require an opioid analgesic and for which alternative treatments are inadequate. Limitations of Use. Because of the risks of addiction, abuse, and misuse with opioids, which can occur at any dosages or duration [see Warnings and Precautions (5.1)], reserve tramadol hydrochloride for use in patients for whom alternative treatment options [e.g., non-opioid analgesics or opioid combination products]: 1 Have not been tolerated or are not expected to be tolerated., 2 Have not provided adequate analgesia or are not expected to provide adequate analgesia.",
"Description": "Tramadol hydrochloride tablets, USP are an opioid agonist. The chemical name for tramadol hydrochloride is (±) cis-2-[(dimethylamino)methyl]-1-(3-methoxyphenyl) cyclohexanol hydrochloride. Its structural formula is. Tramadol hydrochloride, USP is a white, bitter, crystalline and odorless powder. It is readily soluble in water and ethanol and has a pKa of 9.41. The n-octanol/water log partition coefficient (logP) is 1.35 at pH 7. The molecular weight of tramadol hydrochloride is 299.84. Each tramadol hydrochloride tablet intended for oral administration contains 50 mg of tramadol hydrochloride. In addition, each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous lactose, colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, sodium starch glycolate and titanium dioxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Ranolazine extended-release tablets are indicated for the treatment of chronic angina. Ranolazine extended-release tablets may be used with beta-blockers, nitrates, calcium channel blockers, anti-platelet therapy, lipid-lowering therapy, ACE inhibitors, and angiotensin receptor blockers.",
"Description": "Ranolazine extended-release tablets are available as film-coated, oblong shaped, extended-release tablets for oral administration. Ranolazine is a racemic mixture, chemically described as 1-piperazineacetamide, N-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)-4-[2-hydroxy-3-(2-methoxyphenoxy)propyl]-, (±)-. It has an empirical formula of C24H33N3O4, a molecular weight of 427.54 g/mol, and the following structural formula. Ranolazine is a white to off-white powder. Ranolazine is soluble in methanol; sparingly soluble in acetonitrile; slightly soluble in isopropyl alcohol and very slightly soluble in water. Ranolazine extended-release tablets contain 500 mg or 1000 mg of ranolazine and the following inactive ingredients: carmine, copolymer based ethyl acrylate and methacrylic acid, FD&C Yellow #6/sunset yellow FCF aluminum lake, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, sodium hydroxide, sodium lauryl sulfate, titanium dioxide and triacetin. Additional inactive ingredients for the 500 mg tablet include D&C Yellow #10 aluminum lake; additional inactive ingredients for the 1000 mg tablet include FD&C Red #40/allura red ac aluminum lake."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Abiraterone acetate tablets are indicated in combination with prednisone for the treatment of patients with Metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC). Metastatic high-risk castration-sensitive prostate cancer (CSPC).",
"Description": "Abiraterone acetate, the active ingredient of abiraterone acetate tablets USP is the acetyl ester of abiraterone. Abiraterone is an inhibitor of CYP17 (17α-hydroxylase/C17,20-lyase). Each abiraterone acetate tablet USP contains 250 mg or 500 mg of abiraterone acetate. Abiraterone is designated chemically as 17-(Pyridin-3-yl)androsta-5,16-dien-3β-yl acetate and its structure is. Abiraterone acetate is a white to off-white, non-hygroscopic, crystalline powder. Its molecular formula is C26H33NO2 and it has a molecular weight of 391.55. Abiraterone acetate is a lipophilic compound with an octanol-water partition coefficient of 3.57 (Log P) and Freely soluble in methylene chloride, in tetrahydrofuran, and in toluene, soluble in methanol, in ethanol, in ethyl acetate, in isobutyl methyl ketone, in N,N-dimethyl formamide and in acetone, sparingly soluble in acetonitrile and in dimethyl sulfoxide, slightly soluble in hexane, very slightly soluble in 0.1N hydrochloride and practically insoluble in water. The pKa value of abiraterone Acetate is 3.06. Abiraterone acetate tablets USP are available in 250 mg and 500 mg film-coated tablets and 250 mg uncoated tablets with the following inactive ingredients: 250 mg film-coated tablets: colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose and sodium lauryl sulfate. The film-coating contains iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, talc, and titanium dioxide. 500 mg film-coated tablets: colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose and sodium lauryl sulfate. The film-coating contains iron oxide black, iron oxide red, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, talc, and titanium dioxide. 250 mg uncoated tablets: colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, and sodium lauryl sulfate. 250 mg uncoated tablets: FDA approved dissolution test specifications differ from USP250 mg and 500 mg film-coated tablets: Meets USP dissolution test 3."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Diclofenac sodium topical solution, USP is indicated for the treatment of signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis of the knee(s) (1).",
"Description": "Diclofenac sodium topical solution USP, 1.5% is a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug, available as a clear, colorless to faintly pink-orange solution for topical application. Diclofenac sodium topical solution contains 1.5% w/w diclofenac sodium, a benzeneacetic acid derivative that is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), designated chemically as 2-[(2,6-dichlorophenyl)amino]-benzeneacetic acid, monosodium salt. The molecular weight is 318.14. Its molecular formula is C14H10Cl2NNaO2 and it has the following structural formula. [Chemical Structure]. Each 1 mL of solution contains 16.05 mg of diclofenac sodium. In addition, diclofenac sodium topical solution contains the following inactive ingredients: dimethyl sulfoxide USP (DMSO, 45.5% w/w), ethanol, glycerin, propylene glycol and purified water."

"Description": "Diltiazem Hydrochloride Injection is a calcium ion influx inhibitor (slow channel blocker or calcium channel antagonist). Chemically, diltiazem hydrochloride is 1,5-benzothiazepin-4(5 H)one,3-(acetyloxy)-5-[2-(dimethylamino)ethyl]-2, 3-dihydro-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-, monohydrochloride, (+)- cis-. The structural formula is:. Diltiazem hydrochloride is a white to off-white crystalline powder with a bitter taste. It is soluble in water, methanol, and chloroform. Diltiazem hydrochloride injection is a clear, colorless, sterile, nonpyrogenic solution. It has a pH range of 3.7 to 4.1. Diltiazem Hydrochloride Injection is for direct intravenous bolus injection and continuous intravenous infusion. Each mL contains 5 mg of diltiazem hydrochloride, 0.75 mg citric acid (hydrous), USP, 0.65 mg sodium citrate dihydrate, USP, 71.4 mg sorbitol solution, USP, and water for injection, USP. Sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid is used for pH adjustment."

"Description": "Travoprost is a synthetic prostaglandin F analog. Its chemical name is [1R-[1α(Z),2β(1E,3R*),3α,5α]]-7-[3,5-Dihydroxy-2-[3-hydroxy-4-[3-(trifluoromethyl) phenoxy]-1-butenyl]cyclopentyl]-5-heptenoic acid, 1-methylethylester. It has a molecular formula of C26H35F3O6 and a molecular weight of 500.55 g/mol. The chemical structure of travoprost is:. Travoprost, USP is a clear, colorless and viscous oil that is very soluble in acetonitrile, methanol, octanol, and chloroform. It is practically insoluble in water. Travoprost Ophthalmic Solution, USP (ionic buffered solution) 0.004% is supplied as sterile, buffered aqueous solution of travoprost with a pH of approximately 5.7 and an osmolality of approximately 290 mOsmol/kg. Travoprost Ophthalmic Solution, USP (ionic buffered solution) 0.004% contains Active: travoprost, USP 0.04 mg per mL; Inactives: polyoxyl 40 hydrogenated castor oil, boric acid, propylene glycol, sorbitol, zinc chloride, sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid (to adjust pH), and water for injection. Its chemical name is (-)-1-(tert-butylamino)-3-[(4-morpholino-1,2,5-thiadiazol-3-yl)oxy]-2-propanol maleate (1:1) (salt). Timolol maleate possesses an asymmetric carbon atom in its structure and is provided as the levo-isomer. The optical rotation of timolol maleate is:. 25°[α] in 1.0N HCl (C = 5%) = -12.2° (-11.7° to -12.5°). 405 nm. Its molecular formula is C13H24N4O3SC4H4O4 and its structural formula is:. Timolol maleate has a molecular weight of 432.49. It is a white, odorless, crystalline powder which is soluble in water, sparingly soluble in ethanol; slightly soluble in chloroform; practically insoluble in ether. Timolol Maleate Sterile Ophthalmic Gel Forming Solution is supplied as a sterile, isotonic, buffered, aqueous solution of timolol maleate in two dosage strengths. The pH of the solution is approximately 7.0, and the osmolarity is 260 to 330 mOsm. Each mL of Timolol Maleate Ophthalmic Gel Forming Solution 0.25% contains 2.5 mg of timolol (3.4 mg of timolol maleate). Each mL of Timolol Maleate Ophthalmic Gel Forming Solution 0.5% contains 5 mg of timolol (6.8 mg of timolol maleate). Inactive ingredients: gellan gum, tromethamine, mannitol, and water for injection. Preservative: benzododecinium bromide 0.012%. The gel forming solution contains a purified anionic heteropolysaccharide derived from gellan gum. An aqueous solution of gellan gum, in the presence of a cation, has the ability to gel. Upon contact with the precorneal tear film, Timolol Maleate Ophthalmic Gel Forming Solution forms a gel that is subsequently removed by the flow of tears."

"IndicationAndUsage": "When oral therapy is not feasible and the strength, dosage form, and route of administration of the drug reasonably lend the preparation to the treatment of the condition, those products labeled for intravenous or intramuscular use are indicated as follows:. 1. Endocrine Disorders: 1 Primary or secondary adrenocortical insufficiency (hydrocortisone or cortisone is the drug of choice; synthetic analogs may be used in conjunction with mineralocorticoids where applicable; in infancy, mineralocorticoid supplementation is of particular importance). , 2 Acute adrenocortical insufficiency (hydrocortisone or cortisone is the drug of choice; mineralocorticoid supplementation may be necessary, particularly when synthetic analogs are used). , 3 Preoperatively, and in the event of serious trauma or illness, in patients with known adrenal insufficiency or when adrenocortical reserve is doubtful. , 4 Shock unresponsive to conventional therapy if adrenocortical insufficiency exists or is suspected. , 5 Congenital adrenal hyperplasia. , 6 Nonsuppurative thyroiditis. , 7 Hypercalcemia associated with cancer. .",
"Description": "Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate Injection, USP, is a water-soluble inorganic ester of dexamethasone which produces a rapid response even when injected intramuscularly. Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate, USP C22H28FNa2O8P, has a molecular weight of 516.4 and chemically is 9-fluoro-11β, 17, 21-trihydroxy-16α-methylpregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione, 21-(dihydrogen phosphate) disodium salt. It occurs as a white to practically white powder, is exceedingly hygroscopic, is soluble in water and its solutions have a pH between 7.5 and 9.5. It has the following structural formula:. Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate Injection, USP is available in 4 mg per mL and 10 mg per mL concentrations. Each mL of Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate Injection USP, 4 mg per mL contains dexamethasone sodium phosphate, USP equivalent to 4 mg of dexamethasone phosphate; 11 mg sodium citrate anhydrous; 1 mg sodium sulfite; 10 mg benzyl alcohol (preservative); water for injection, q.s. NaOH and/or citric acid monohydrate to adjust pH if necessary. pH: 7.0 to 8.5. Each mL of Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate Injection, USP, 10 mg per mL (Preservative Free) contains dexamethasone sodium phosphate, USP equivalent to 10 mg dexamethasone phosphate; 24.75 mg sodium citrate, dihydrate; and Water for Injection, q.s. pH adjusted with citric acid or sodium hydroxide, if necessary. pH: 7.0 to 8.5."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Where oral therapy is not feasible, injectable corticosteroid therapy, including triamcinolone acetonide injectable suspension is indicated for intramuscular use as follows:. Allergic states: Control of severe or incapacitating allergic conditions intractable to adequate trials of conventional treatment in asthma, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, drug hypersensitivity reactions, perennial or seasonal allergic rhinitis, serum sickness, transfusion reactions. Dermatologic diseases: Bullous dermatitis herpetiformis, exfoliative erythroderma, mycosis fungoides, pemphigus, severe erythema multiforme (Stevens-Johnson syndrome). Endocrine disorders: Primary or secondary adrenocortical insufficiency (hydrocortisone or cortisone is the drug of choice; synthetic analogs may be used in conjunction with mineralocorticoids where applicable; in infancy, mineralocorticoid supplementation is of particular importance), congenital adrenal hyperplasia, hypercalcemia associated with cancer, nonsuppurative thyroiditis. Gastrointestinal diseases: To tide the patient over a critical period of the disease in regional enteritis and ulcerative colitis. Hematologic disorders: Acquired (autoimmune) hemolytic anemia, Diamond-Blackfan anemia, pure red cell aplasia, selected cases of secondary thrombocytopenia. Miscellaneous: Trichinosis with neurologic or myocardial involvement, tuberculous meningitis with subarachnoid block or impending block when used with appropriate antituberculous chemotherapy. Neoplastic diseases: For the palliative management of leukemias and lymphomas. Nervous system: Acute exacerbations of multiple sclerosis; cerebral edema associated with primary or metastatic brain tumor or craniotomy. Ophthalmic diseases: Sympathetic ophthalmia, temporal arteritis, uveitis, and ocular inflammatory conditions unresponsive to topical corticosteroids. Renal diseases: To induce diuresis or remission of proteinuria in idiopathic nephrotic syndrome or that due to lupus erythematosus. Respiratory diseases: Berylliosis, fulminating or disseminated pulmonary tuberculosis when used concurrently with appropriate antituberculous chemotherapy, idiopathic eosinophilic pneumonias, symptomatic sarcoidosis. Rheumatic disorders: As adjunctive therapy for short-term administration (to tide the patient over an acute episode or exacerbation) in acute gouty arthritis; acute rheumatic carditis; ankylosing spondylitis; psoriatic arthritis; rheumatoid arthritis, including juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (selected cases may require low-dose maintenance therapy). For the treatment of dermatomyositis, polymyositis, and systemic lupus erythematosus.",
"Description": "Triamcinolone acetonide injectable suspension, USP is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory action. THESE FORMULATION ARE SUITABLE FOR INTRAMUSCULAR AND INTRA-ARTICULAR USE ONLY. THESE FORMULATION ARE NOT FOR INTRADERMAL INJECTION. Each mL of the sterile aqueous suspension provides 40 mg triamcinolone acetonide, USP with 0.66% sodium chloride for isotonicity, 0.94% (v/v) benzyl alcohol as a preservative, 0.63% carboxymethylcellulose sodium, and 0.04% polysorbate 80. Sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid may be present to adjust pH to 5.0 to 7.5. At the time of manufacture, the air in the container is replaced by nitrogen. The chemical name for triamcinolone acetonide is 9-Fluoro-11β,16α,17,21-tetrahydroxypregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione cyclic 16,17-acetal with acetone. Its structural formula is:. Triamcinolone acetonide occurs as a white to almost-white, crystalline powder and is sparingly soluble in alcohol, methanol and chloroform; very slightly soluble in ether; practically insoluble in water."

"Description": "Vinorelbine Injection, USP contains vinorelbine, a semi-synthetic vinca alkaloid. The molecular formula for vinorelbine tartrate is C45H54N4O82C4H6O6. It has a molecular weight of 1079.11. The structural formula is as follows:. Vinorelbine tartrate is a white to light yellow amorphous powder. It is easily soluble in water, very soluble in methanol and practically insoluble in hexane. Vinorelbine Injection, USP is a sterile nonpyrogenic aqueous solution for intravenous use. Each milliliter of solution contains 10 mg vinorelbine (equivalent to 13.85 mg vinorelbine tartrate) in Water for Injection, USP. The pH of Vinorelbine Injection, USP is approximately 3.5."
