"IndicationAndUsage": "Lamivudine and zidovudine tablets a combination of 2 nucleoside analogues, are indicated in combination with other antiretrovirals for the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) infection.",
"Description": "Lamivudine and Zidovudine tablets, USP are combination tablets containing lamivudine and zidovudine. Lamivudine and zidovudine (azidothymidine, AZT, or ZDV) are synthetic nucleoside analogues with activity against HIV-1. Lamivudine and Zidovudine tablets, USP are for oral administration. Each film-coated tablet contains 150 mg of lamivudine, USP, 300 mg of zidovudine, USP, and the inactive ingredients microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, magnesium stearate and opadry white (hypromellose, macrogol, polysorbate 80 and titanium dioxide). Lamivudine The chemical name of lamivudine is 2(1H)-Pyrimidinone,4-amino-1-[2-hydroxymethyl)-1,3-oxathio-lan-5-yl],(2R-cis)-. It has a molecular formula of C 8H 11N 3O 3S and a molecular weight of 229.26. It has the following structural formula:. Lamivudine is a white to an off-white solid which is soluble in water. Zidovudine The chemical name of zidovudine is Thymidine 3’-azido-3’-deoxy. It has a molecular formula of C 10H 13N 5O 4and a molecular weight of 267.24. It has the following structural formula:. Zidovudine is a white to yellowish powder. Zidovudine is sparingly soluble in water, soluble in alcohol. Meets USP Dissolution Test 2."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Tolterodine tartrate extended-release capsules, USP are indicated for the treatment of overactive bladder with symptoms of urge urinary incontinence, urgency, and frequency [see CLINICAL STUDIES (14)] .",
"Description": "Tolterodine tartrate extended-release capsules, USP contain tolterodine tartrate USP. The active moiety, tolterodine, is a muscarinic receptor antagonist. The chemical name of tolterodine tartrate is (R)-N,N-diisopropyl-3-(2-hydroxy-5methylphenyl)-3-phenylpropanamine L-hydrogen tartrate. The empirical formula of tolterodine tartrate is C 26H 37NO 7, Its structure is:. Tolterodine tartrate is a white, crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 475.6. The pK avalue is 9.87 and the solubility in water is 12 mg/mL. It is soluble in methanol, slightly soluble in ethanol, and practically insoluble in toluene. The partition coefficient (Log D) between n-octanol and water is 1.83 at pH 7.3. Tolterodine tartrate extended-release capsules 4 mg for oral administration contains 4 mg of tolterodine tartrate. Inactive ingredients are colloidal silicon dioxide, dibutyl sebacate, ethylcellulose, FD & C Blue no.2, gelatin, hypromellose, hypromellose phthalate, sucrose, talc and titanium dioxide. Tolterodine tartrate extended-release capsules 2 mg for oral administration contains 2 mg of tolterodine tartrate, and the following Inactive ingredients are colloidal silicon dioxide, dibutyl sebacate, ethylcellulose, FD & C Blue no.2, gelatin, hypromellose, hypromellose phthalate, iron oxide yellow, sucrose, talc and titanium dioxide. Both the 2 mg and 4 mg capsule strengths are imprinted with a pharmaceutical grade printing ink that contains ammonium hydroxide, iron oxide black, shellac, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol and titanium dioxide. Meets USP Dissolution Test 3."

"Description": "Zafirlukast is a synthetic, selective peptide leukotriene receptor antagonist (LTRA), with the chemical name N-[3-[[2-Methoxy-4-[[[(2-methylphenyl) sulfonyl]amino]carbonyl] phenyl]methyl]-1-methyl-1H-1H-indol-5-yl]carbamic acid cyclopentyl ester; The molecular weight of zafirlukast is 575.67 and the structural formula is:. The empirical formula is: C31H33N3O6S Zafirlukast, a white to pale yellow colour powder, is soluble in tetrahydrofuran, slightly soluble in dimethyl sulphoxide, dimethyl formamide and practically insoluble in water. Zafirlukast is supplied as 10 mg and 20 mg tablets for oral administration. Inactive Ingredients: Film-coated tablets containing croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone K30, hypromellose, and titanium dioxide."

Famotidine tablets are indicated in adults for the: treatment of pathological hypersecretory conditions (e.g., Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, multiple endocrine neoplasias). reduction of the risk of duodenal ulcer recurrence.",
"Description": "The active ingredient in famotidine tablets, USP is a histamine-2 (H 2) receptor antagonist. Famotidine is N'-(aminosulfonyl)-3-[[[2-[(diaminomethylene)amino]-4-thiazolyl]methyl] thio]propanimidamide. The empirical formula of famotidine is C 8H 15N 7O 2S 3 and its molecular weight is 337.45. Its structural formula is:. Each famotidine tablet, USP for oral administration contains either 20 mg or 40 mg of famotidine and the following inactive ingredients: corn starch, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate and film coating contains carnauba wax, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, talc, titanium dioxide; and additionally 20 mg contains iron oxide red and iron oxide yellow. Famotidine, USP is a white to pale yellowish white crystalline powder that is freely soluble in dimethyl formamide, glacial acetic acid, slightly soluble in methanol, very slightly soluble in water, and practically insoluble in acetone, in alcohol, in chloroform, in ether and ethyl acetate."

"Description": "Divalproex sodium is a stable co-ordination compound comprised of sodium valproate and valproic acid in a 1:1 molar relationship and formed during the partial neutralization of valproic acid with 0.5 equivalent of sodium hydroxide. Chemically it is designated as sodium hydrogen bis(2-propylpentanoate). Divalproex sodium has the following structure. Divalproex sodium USP occurs as a white to off-white powder with a characteristic odor. Divalproex sodium extended-release tablets USP 250 mg and 500 mg are for oral administration. Divalproex sodium extended-release tablets USP contain divalproex sodium USP in a once-a-day extended-release formulation equivalent to 250 mg and 500 mg of valproic acid. Inactive Ingredients Hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide. The film-coating contains lecithin, polyvinyl alcohol, talc, titanium dioxide and xanthan gum. The imprinting ink contains ammonium hydroxide, black iron oxide, propylene glycol and shellac glaze. FDA approved dissolution test specifications differ from USP."

Sparingly soluble in acetic acid, slightly soluble in chloroform and practically insoluble in water. Its molecular weight is 252.268. Sparingly soluble in acetic acid, slightly soluble in chloroform and practically insoluble in water. Its molecular weight is 252.268. "Description": "Each mesalamine delayed-release tablet, USP for oral administration contains 1.2 g 5-aminosalicylic acid (5-ASA; mesalamine), an anti-inflammatory agent. Mesalamine also has the chemical name 5-amino-2-hydroxybenzoic acid and its structural formula is. Molecular formula: C 7H 7NO 3 Molecular weight: 153.14 The tablet is coated with a pH-dependent polymer film, which breaks down at or above pH 6.8, normally in the terminal ileum where mesalamine then begins to be released from the tablet core. The tablet core contains mesalamine with hydrophilic and lipophilic excipients and provides for extended release of mesalamine. The inactive ingredients of mesalamine delayed-release tablets, USP are colloidal silicon dioxide, ferric oxide, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, methacrylic acid and methyl methacrylate copolymer, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, sodium starch glycolate, talc, titanium dioxide, triethyl citrate, the imprinting ink contains ammonium hydroxide, black iron oxide, propylene glycol and shellac. "Description": "Dicyclomine hydrochloride capsules USP, are an antispasmodic and anticholinergic (antimuscarinic) agent available in the following dosage form: Dicyclomine hydrochloride capsules USP, for oral use contain 10 mg dicyclomine hydrochloride USP. Dicyclomine 10 mg capsules also contain inactive ingredients: calcium sulfate dihydrate, FD&C blue 1, FD&C red 3, gelatin, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, pregelatinized starch, and sodium lauryl sulfate. The imprinting ink contains povidone, propylene glycol, shellac, sodium hydroxide and titanium dioxide. Dicyclomine hydrochloride is [bicyclohexyl]-1-carboxylic acid, 2-(diethylamino) ethyl ester, hydrochloride, with a molecular formula of C 19H 35NO 2HCl and the following structural formula:. Dicyclomine hydrochloride USP, occurs as a fine, white, crystalline powder. It is soluble in water, freely soluble in alcohol, chloroform and very slightly soluble in ether. "Description": "Lurasidone hydrochloride is an atypical antipsychotic belonging to the chemical class of benzisothiazol derivatives. Its chemical name is (3a R,4 S,7 R,7a S)-2-{(1 R,2 R)-2-[4-(1,2-benzisothiazol-3-yl)piperazin-1-ylmethyl] cyclohexylmethyl}hexahydro-4,7-methano-2 H-isoindole-1,3-dione hydrochloride. Its molecular formula is C 28H 36N 4O 2S·HCl and its molecular weight is 529.14. The chemical structure is:. Lurasidone hydrochloride is a white to off-white powder. It is very slightly soluble in methanol. Lurasidone hydrochloride tablets are intended for oral administration only. Each tablet contains 20 mg, 40 mg, 60 mg, 80 mg, or 120 mg of lurasidone hydrochloride. Inactive ingredients are croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, mannitol, polyethylene glycol, pregelatinized starch (maize), and titanium dioxide."
