"IndicationAndUsage": "Succinylcholine chloride injection is indicated in adults and pediatric patients: as an adjunct to general anesthesia to facilitate tracheal intubation to provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation.",
"Description": "Succinylcholine Chloride Injection, USP is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution to be used as a short-acting, depolarizing neuromuscular blocker for intravenous or intramuscular use. Succinylcholine Chloride Injection, USP contains succinylcholine chloride as the active pharmaceutical ingredient. Succinylcholine Chloride, USP is chemically designated C 14H 30Cl 2N 2O 4.2H 2O and its molecular weight is 397.34. The chemical name of succinylcholine chloride is 2,2'-[(1,4-dioxo-1,4-butanediyl)bis(oxy)]bis[N,N,N-trimethyl-ethanaminium],dichloride. Succinylcholine chloride is a diquaternary base consisting of the dichloride salt of the dicholine ester of succinic acid. It is a white or almost white, odourless, crystalline powder, freely soluble in water. It has the following structural formula:. Succinylcholine chloride injection USP, 200 mg/10 mL (20 mg/mL) is intended for multiple-dose administration and contains preservative. Each 1 mL of succinylcholine chloride injection USP, 200 mg/10 mL (20 mg/mL) multiple-dose fliptop vials contains: 20 mg of succinylcholine chloride anhydrous (equivalent to 21.994 mg of succinylcholine chloride dihydrate), 1.8 mg of methylparaben and 0.2 mg of propylparaben as preservatives, 4.8 mg of sodium chloride as iso-osmotic agent, and sodium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid as pH adjusters in water for injection. The pH of the solution is between 3.0 and 4.5, with an osmolarity of 0.338 mOsm/mL (calc.)."

"Description": "The active ingredient in mesalamine 1,000 mg suppositories for rectal use is mesalamine, also known as mesalazine or 5-aminosalicylic acid (5-ASA). "Description": "Itraconazole, an azole antifungal agent. Itraconazole is a 1:1:1:1 racemic mixture of four diastereomers (two enantiomeric pairs), each possessing three chiral centers. It may be represented by the following structural formula and nomenclature. (±)-1-sec-Butyl-4-[p-[4-[p-[[2R *,4S *)-2-(2,4-dichloro phenyl)-2-(1H-1, 2, 4-triazol-1 ylmethyl)-1,3- dioxolan-4 yl]methoxy]phenyl]-1-piperazinyl]phenyl]- Δ 2-1, 2, 4-triazolin-5- one or 4-[4-[4-[4-[[Cis-2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-2-(1H-1,2,4- triazol-1-ylmethyl)-1,3-dioxolan-4 yl]methoxy] phenyl]piperazin-1-yl] phenyl]-2-[(1RS)-1-methyl propyl]-2,4-dihydro-3H-1,2,4-triazol-3-one Itraconazole has a molecular formula of C 35H 38Cl 2N 8O 4and a molecular weight of 705.63. It is a white or almost white powder. It is freely soluble in methylene chloride, sparingly soluble in tetrahydrofuran, very slightly soluble in alcohol, practically insoluble in water. It has a pKa of 3.70 (based on extrapolation of values obtained from methanolic solutions) and a log (n-octanol/ aq. Buffer of pH: 8.1) partition coefficient of 5.66 at pH 8.1. Itraconazole oral solution contains 10 mg of itraconazole USP per mL, solubilized by hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (400 mg/mL) as a molecular inclusion complex. Itraconazole oral solution is clear, colorless to yellowish brown liquid with a target pH of 2. Other ingredients are ascorbic acid, hydrochloric acid, propylene glycol, purified water, non crystallizing sorbitol solution, saccharin sodium, sodium hydroxide, ART Cherry flavor."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Diatrizoate meglumine and diatrizoate sodium solution is indicated for radiographic examination of segments of the gastrointestinal tract (esophagus, stomach, proximal small intestine, and colon). The preparation is particularly indicated when a more viscous agent such as barium sulfate, which is not water-soluble, is not feasible or is potentially dangerous. Diatrizoate meglumine and diatrizoate sodium solution may also be used as an adjunct to contrast enhancement in computed tomography of the torso (body imaging); the preparation is indicated, in conjunction with intravenous administration of a radiopaque contrast agent, when unenhanced imaging may not provide sufficient definition in distinguishing normal loops of bowel from adjacent organs or areas of suspected pathology.",
"Description": "Diatrizoate Meglumine and Diatrizoate Sodium Solution, USP is a palatable strawberry-flavored water-soluble iodinated radiopaque contrast medium for oral or rectal administration only. Each mL contains 660 mg diatrizoate meglumine USP and 100 mg diatrizoate sodium USP; pH has been adjusted to 6.0 to 7.6 with sodium hydroxide. Each mL contains approximately 4.8 mg (0.21 mEq) sodiumand 367 mg organically bound iodine. Inactive ingredients: edetate disodium dihydrate, polysorbate 80, saccharin sodium, simethicone, sodium hydroxide, strawberry flavor and tri-sodium citrate dihydrate. Diatrizoate meglumine is designated chemically as 1-deoxy-1-(methylamino)-D-glucitol 3,5- diacetamido-2,4,6-triiodobenzoate (salt); diatrizoate sodium is monosodium 3,5-diacetamido-2,4,6-triiodobenzoate. Structural formulas:. Diatrizoate meglumine C 11H 9I 3N 2O 4.C 7H 17NO 5 Molecular Weight: 809.13 Organically bound Iodine: 47.1%. "IndicationAndUsage": "Solifenacin succinate tablets are indicated for the treatment of adults with overactive bladder with symptoms of urge urinary incontinence, urgency, and urinary frequency.",
"Description": "Solifenacin succinate is a muscarinic receptor antagonist. Chemically, solifenacin succinate is a butanedioic acid compound with (1S)-3,4-Dihydro-1-phenyl-2(1H) isoquinoline carboxylic acid (3R)-1-azabicyclo-[2.2.2] oct-3yl ester succinate having an empirical formula of C 27H 32N 2O 6, and a molecular weight of 480.55. The structural formula of solifenacin succinate is:. Solifenacin succinate is a white to pale yellow color crystalline powder. It is freely soluble in methanol, water, dimethyl sulfoxide and acetic acid. Each solifenacin succinate tablet contains 5 or 10 mg of solifenacin succinate and is for oral administration. In addition to the active ingredient solifenacin succinate, each solifenacin succinate tablet also contains the following inactive ingredients: corn starch, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate. The film coating contains hypromellose polyethylene glycol, talc, and titanium dioxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Promethazine hydrochloride suppositories are useful for: Perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis. Vasomotor rhinitis. Allergic conjunctivitis due to inhalant allergens and foods. Mild, uncomplicated allergic skin manifestations of urticaria and angioedema. Amelioration of allergic reactions to blood or plasma. Dermographism. Anaphylactic reactions, as adjunctive therapy to epinephrine and other standard measures, after the acute manifestations have been controlled. Preoperative, postoperative, or obstetric sedation. Prevention and control of nausea and vomiting associated with certain types of anesthesia and surgery. Therapy adjunctive to meperidine or other analgesics for control of post-operative pain. Sedation in both children and adults, as well as relief of apprehension and production of light sleep from which the patient can be easily aroused. Active and prophylactic treatment of motion sickness. Antiemetic therapy in postoperative patients.",

Promethazine hydrochloride, a phenothiazine derivative, is designated chemically as (±)-10-[2-(Dimethylamino)propyl] phenothiazine monohydrochloride with the following structural formula:. Promethazine hydrochloride USP occurs as a white to faint yellowish, crystalline powder. "Description": "Diclofenac potassium for oral solution is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, available as a buffered soluble powder, designed to be mixed with water prior to oral administration. Diclofenac potassium for oral solution is a white to off-white, buffered, flavored powder for oral solution packaged in individual unit dose packets. The chemical name is potassium [o-(2,6-dichloroanilino) phenyl] acetate. The molecular weight is 334.24 g/mole. Its molecular formula is C 14H 10Cl 2NKO 2, and it has the following structure. The inactive ingredients in diclofenac potassium for oral solution include: flavoring agent (peppermint), glyceryl behenate, mannitol, sucralose and tribasic sodium phosphate anhydrous."

Sapropterin dihydrochloride, the active pharmaceutical ingredient in sapropterin dihydrochloride powder for oral solution, is a synthetic preparation of the dihydrochloride salt of naturally occurring tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4). Sapropterin dihydrochloride is a white to pale yellow color powder. The chemical name of sapropterin dihydrochloride is (6R)-2-amino-6-[(1R,2S)-1,2-dihydroxypropyl]-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-4(1H)-pteridinone dihydrochloride and the molecular formula is C 9H 15N 5O 3·2HCl with a molecular weight of 314.17. Sapropterin dihydrochloride has the following structural formula:. Sapropterin dihydrochloride is supplied as powder for oral solution containing 100 mg of sapropterin dihydrochloride (equivalent to 76.8 mg of sapropterin base). Sapropterin dihydrochloride is also supplied as powder for oral solution containing 500 mg of sapropterin dihydrochloride (equivalent to 384 mg of sapropterin base). Sapropterin dihydrochloride powder for oral solution is off-white to yellow in color. "Description": "Indomethacin Suppositories USP is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, available as a suppository containing 50 mg of indomethacin administered for rectal use. The chemical name is 1-(4-chlorobenzoyl)-5-methoxy-2-methyl-1H-indole-3-acetic acid. The molecular weight is 357.79. Its molecular formula is C 19H 16ClNO 4, and it has the following chemical structure. Indomethacin USP is a white to yellow crystalline powder. It is sparingly soluble in absolute alcohol, chloroform and ether and insoluble in water. It has a pKa of 4.7. The inactive ingredients in indomethacin suppositories include: Butylated hydroxy anisole, butylated hydroxy toluene, edetic acid, glycerin, polyethylene glycol 3350, polyethylene glycol 8000 and sodium chloride. Indomethacin suppositories, 50 mg each, are white to off-white, bullet shaped, rectal suppositories. FDA approved dissolution test specifications differ from USP."

"Description": "The active ingredient in famotidine for oral suspension USP is a histamine-2 (H 2)receptor antagonist. Famotidine is Propanimidamide, N’(aminosulfonyl)-3[[[2[(diaminomethylene)amino]-4-thiazolyl]methyl]thio]-. The empirical formula of famotidine is C 8H 15N 7O 2S 3and its molecular weight is 337.45. Its structural formula is:. Each 5 mL of famotidine for oral suspension, USP when prepared as directed contains 40 mg of famotidine USP and the following inactive ingredients: citric acid, flavors (banana, cherry and peppermint),and powder cellulose, sucrose and xanthan gum. Added as preservatives are sodium benzoate 0.38%, sodium methylparaben 0.38% and sodium propylparaben 0.08%. Famotidine USP is a white to pale yellow crystalline powder that is freely soluble in glacial acetic acid, slightly soluble in methanol, very slightly soluble in water."

"Description": "Sodium sulfate, potassium sulfate and magnesium sulfate oral solution (for adults)is an osmotic laxative and is provided as two bottles each containing 6 ounces of solution. Each bottle contains: 17.5 grams sodium sulfate, 3.13 grams potassium sulfate, and 1.6 grams magnesium sulfate. Inactive ingredients include: anhydrous citric acid, malic acid, sodium benzoate, strawberry flavor, sucralose, purified water. Sodium Sulfate Anhydrous, USP The chemical name is Na 2SO 4. The average Molecular Weight is 142.04. The structural formula is:. Potassium Sulfate, powder The chemical name is K 2SO 4. The average Molecular Weight is 174.3. The structural formula is:. Magnesium Sulfate Dried, USP The chemical name is MgSO 4. The average Molecular Weight: 120.361. The structural formula is:. "IndicationAndUsage": "Diarrhea caused by Giardia lambliaor Cryptosporidium parvum: Nitazoxanide tablets (patients 12 years and older) are indicated for the treatment of diarrhea caused by Giardia lambliaor Cryptosporidium parvum. Limitations of Use Nitazoxanide tablets have not been shown to be effective for the treatment of diarrhea caused by Cryptosporidium parvumin HIV-infected or immunodeficient patients [see Clinical Studies (14.2)] .",
"Description": "Nitazoxanide tablets contain the active ingredient, nitazoxanide, a synthetic antiprotozoal for oral administration. Nitazoxanide is off-white to yellow powder. It is practically insoluble in ethanol, water and soluble in N, N-dimethylacetamide. Chemically, nitazoxanide is 2-((5-Nitrothiazol-2-yl) carbamoyl) phenyl acetate. The molecular formula is C 12H 9N 3O 5S and the molecular weight is 307.28. The structural formula is:. Nitazoxanide tablets contain 500 mg of nitazoxanide and the following inactive ingredients: corn starch, D&C yellow #10 aluminum lake, FD&C blue #2, FD&C yellow #6, hypromellose, lecithin (soya), magnesium stearate, polyvinyl alcohol, pregelatinized starch, sodium starch glycolate, talc, titanium dioxide and xanthan gum."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Cinacalcet is a positive modulator of the calcium sensing receptor indicated for: Secondary Hyperparathyroidism (HPT) in adult patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) on dialysis. (1.1) Limitations of Use: Cinacalcet tablets are not indicated for use in patients with CKD who are not on dialysis Hypercalcemia in adult patients with Parathyroid Carcinoma (PC). (1.2) Severe hypercalcemia in adult patients with primary HPT who are unable to undergo parathyroidectomy. (1.3).",
"Description": "Cinacalcet tablets contain the hydrochloride salt of the active ingredient cinacalcet, a positive modulator of the calcium sensing receptor. The empirical formula of cinacalcet is C22H22F3N⋅HCl with a molecular mass of 393.87. It has one chiral center having an R-absolute configuration. The R-enantiomer is the more potent enantiomer and has been shown to be responsible for pharmacodynamic activity. The hydrochloride salt of cinacalcet is a white to off-white powder that is freely soluble in methanol and in ethanol. The hydrochloride salt of cinacalcet is described chemically as (R)-N-(3-(3-(trifluoromethyl) phenyl] propyl]-1-(1-naphthyl) ethylamine hydrochloride and has the following structural formula. Cinacalcet tablets are formulated as light-green, oval, biconvex, film coated tablets for oral administration in strengths of 30 mg, 60 mg, and 90 mg of cinacalcet as the free base equivalent (33.064 mg, 66.127 mg and 99.191 mg as the hydrochloride salt, respectively). The hydrochloride salt of cinacalcet is described chemically as (R)-N-(3-(3-(trifluoromethyl) phenyl] propyl]-1-(1-naphthyl) ethylamine hydrochloride and has the following structural formula.
