"IndicationAndUsage": "Varenicline tablets are indicated for use as an aid to smoking cessation treatment.",
"Description": "Varenicline tablets contain varenicline (as the tartrate salt), which is a partial nicotinic agonist selective for α4β2 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor subtypes. Varenicline, as the tartrate salt, is off-white to light fawn powder with the following chemical name: 7,8,9,10-tetrahydro-6,10-methano-6H-pyrazino[2,3-h][3]benzazepine, (2R,3R)-2,3-dihydroxybutanedioate (1:1). It is freely soluble in water and slightly soluble in N, N-dimethyl Formamide. Varenicline tartrate has a molecular weight of 361.35 Daltons, and a molecular formula of C13H13N3 C4H6O6. The chemical structure is. Varenicline tablets are supplied for oral administration in two strengths: a 0.5 mg off-white, capsule shaped, biconvex, film-coated tablets, debossed with ‘V1’ on one side and plain on other side and a 1 mg blue colored, capsule shaped, biconvex, film-coated tablets, debossed with ‘V2’ on one side and plain on other side. Each 0.5 mg varenicline tablet contains 0.85 mg of varenicline tartrate equivalent to 0.5 mg of varenicline free base; each 1 mg varenicline tablet contains 1.71 mg of varenicline tartrate equivalent to 1 mg of varenicline free base. The following inactive ingredients are included in the tablets: microcrystalline cellulose, anhydrous dibasic calcium phosphate, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, maltodextrin. The film coating contains hypromellose, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol. 1 mg has FD&C Blue # 2 and FD&C yellow # 6."

"IndicationAndUsage": "KITABIS PAK (co-packaging of tobramycin inhalation solution and PARI LC PLUS Reusable Nebulizer) is indicated for the management of cystic fibrosis in adults and pediatric patients 6 years of age and older with P. aeruginosa. Safety and efficacy have not been demonstrated in patients under the age of 6 years, patients with FEV1 < 25% or > 75% predicted, or patients colonized with Burkholderia cepacia [see Clinical Studies (14)].",
"Description": "KITABIS PAK contains tobramycin inhalation solution, USP and the PARI LC PLUS Reusable Nebulizer (PARI LC PLUS). Tobramycin inhalation solution is a sterile, clear, slightly yellow, non-pyrogenic, aqueous solution with the pH and salinity adjusted specifically for administration by a compressed air driven PARI LC PLUS Reusable Nebulizer. The chemical formula for tobramycin is C18H37N5O9 and the molecular weight is 467.52. Tobramycin is O-3-amino-3-deoxy-α-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-O-[2,6-diamino-2,3,6-trideoxy-a-D-ribo - hexopyranosyl-(1→6)]-2-deoxy-L-streptamine. The structural formula for tobramycin is. Each single-use 5 mL ampule contains 300 mg tobramycin and 11.25 mg sodium chloride in sterile water for injection. Sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide are added to adjust the pH to 6.0. Nitrogen is used for sparging. The formulation contains no preservatives. The inhalation solution has an osmolality in the range 135 to 200 mOsmol/kg. The PARI LC PLUS Reusable Nebulizer has the following performance characteristics with tobramycin inhalation solution [measured using Next Generation Impactor (NGI) at 15 L/min continuous flow, standard conditions (50%RH, 23°C)]: (1) Delivered Dose: 174 mg; (2) Fine Particle Dose (< 5μm): 97 mg; (3) Nebulization Time: 13 min.; (4) Mass Median Aerodynamic Diameter: 4.3 μm; (5) Geometric Standard Deviation (GSD): 2.2 μm."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Doxepin hydrochloride capsules are indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) in adults.",
"Description": "Doxepin is a tricyclic antidepressant. The molecular formula of doxepin hydrochloride is C19H21NOHCl with a molecular weight of 315.84. It is a white or almost white crystalline powder freely soluble in water, in alcohol and in methylene chloride. Doxepin is a dibenzoxepin derivative. Specifically, it is an isomeric mixture of: 1-Propanamine, 3-dibenz[b,e]oxepin-11(6H)ylidene-N,N-dimethyl-, hydrochloride. The structural formula of doxepin is shown below. Doxepin Hydrochloride Capsules, USP are for oral administration. Active ingredients for the capsules include: 10 mg, 25 mg, 50 mg, 75 mg and 100 mg of doxepin (equivalent to 11.30 mg, 28.25 mg, 56.50 mg, 84.75 mg, and 113 mg of doxepin hydrochloride USP, respectively). Capsule inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch (maize) and sodium lauryl sulfate. The empty hard gelatin capsule shells contain D&C Yellow No. 10, gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate and titanium dioxide. In addition, 10 mg, 25 mg and 50 mg contain FD&C Yellow No. 6 and 75 mg and 100 mg contain FD&C Green No. 3. The imprinting ink contains black iron oxide, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, shellac and strong ammonia solution."

"Description": "Tapentadol extended-release tablet is an opioid agonist, supplied in extended-release film-coated tablets for oral administration, containing 58.24, 116.48, 174.72, 232.96, and 291.20 mg of tapentadol hydrochloride in each tablet strength, corresponding to 50, 100, 150, 200, and 250 mg of tapentadol free-base, respectively. The chemical name is 3-[(1R,2R)-3-(dimethylamino)-1-ethyl-2-methylpropyl]phenol monohydrochloride. The structural formula is. The molecular weight of tapentadol HCl is 257.80, and the molecular formula is C14H23NOHCl. The n-octanol: water partition coefficient log P value is 2.89. The pKa values are 9.36 and 10.45. In addition to the active ingredient tapentadol HCl, tablets also contain the following inactive ingredients: alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E), hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, and polyethylene oxide. The film coating is comprised of polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol, talc, titanium dioxide, and the colorant FD&C Blue #2 aluminum lake is used for 100, 150, 200, and 250 mg strengths; and additionally, yellow iron oxide is used in 150 mg tablets. Printing inks contain shellac glaze and propylene glycol for all strengths, and black iron oxide (50, 100, 150 and 200 mg tablets) or titanium dioxide (250 mg tablets)."

The chemical name is 3-[(1R,2R)-3-(dimethylamino)-1-ethyl-2-methylpropyl]phenol monohydrochloride. The structural formula is. The molecular weight of tapentadol HCl is 257.80, and the molecular formula is C14H23NOHCl. The n-octanol: water partition coefficient log P value is 2.89. The pKa values are 9.36 and 10.45. In addition to the active ingredient tapentadol HCl, tablets also contain the following inactive ingredients: alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E), hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, and polyethylene oxide. "IndicationAndUsage": "APLENZIN is an aminoketone antidepressant, indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) and seasonal affective disorder (SAD). Periodically reevaluate long-term usefulness for the individual patient. (1).",
"Description": "APLENZIN® (bupropion hydrobromide), an antidepressant of the aminoketone class, is chemically unrelated to tricyclic, tetracyclic, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, or other known antidepressant agents. Its structure closely resembles that of diethylpropion; it is related to phenylethylamines. It is designated as (±)-2-(tert-butylamino)-3’-chloropropiophenone hydrobromide. The molecular weight is 320.6. The molecular formula is C13H18ClNOHBr. Bupropion hydrobromide powder is white or almost white, crystalline, and soluble in water. It has a bitter taste and produces the sensation of local anesthesia on the oral mucosa. The structural formula is. APLENZIN tablets are supplied for oral administration as 174 mg, 348 mg, and 522 mg white to off-white extended-release tablets. Each tablet contains the labeled amount of bupropion hydrobromide and the inactive ingredients: ethylcellulose, glyceryl dibehenate, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol, povidone, and dibutyl sebacate. Carnauba wax is included in the 174 mg and 348 mg strengths. The tablets are printed with edible black ink. The insoluble shell of the extended-release tablet may remain intact during gastrointestinal transit and is eliminated in the feces."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Potassium Chloride in 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection is indicated for use in adults and pediatric patients as a source of electrolytes and water for hydration.",
"Description": "Each 100 mL of 20 mEq Potassium Chloride in 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection (20 mEq K+/L) contains: Sodium Chloride USP 0.9 g Potassium Chloride USP 0.15 g; Water for Injection USP qs. pH may be adjusted with Hydrochloric Acid NF. pH: 5.6 (3.5–6.5) Calculated Osmolarity: 350 mOsmol/L. Concentration of Electrolytes (mEq/L): Sodium 154 Potassium 20 Chloride 174. Potassium Chloride in 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection is sterile, nonpyrogenic, hypertonic and contains no bacteriostatic or antimicrobial agents. This product is intended for intravenous administration. The formulas of the active ingredients are. Not made with natural rubber latex, PVC or DEHP. The plastic container is made from a multilayered film specifically developed for parenteral drugs. The solution contact layer is a rubberized copolymer of ethylene and propylene. The container is nontoxic and biologically inert. The container-solution unit is a closed system and is not dependent upon entry of external air during administration. The container is overwrapped to provide protection from the physical environment and to provide an additional moisture barrier when necessary. Addition of medication should be accomplished using complete aseptic technique. The closure system has two ports; the one for the administration set has a tamper evident plastic protector and the other is a medication addition site. Refer to the Directions for Use of the container."

The white, film-coated tablets are printed with edible black ink which contains black iron oxide, propylene glycol and shellac glaze. The chemical name of valacyclovir hydrochloride is L-valine, 2-[(2-amino-1,6-dihydro-6-oxo-9H-purin-9-yl)methoxy]ethyl ester, monohydrochloride. It has the following structural formula:. Valacyclovir hydrochloride, USP (hydrous) is a white to off-white powder with the molecular formula C13H20N6O4HCl and a molecular weight of 360.80. The maximum solubility in water at 25°C is 174 mg/mL. The pkas for valacyclovir hydrochloride are 7.47 and 9.43. Meets USP Dissolution Test 2."

"Description": "Potassium Phosphates Injection, USP, a phosphorus replacement product containing phosphorus 3 mmol/mL and potassium 4.4 mEq/mL. It is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, concentrated solution containing a mixture of monobasic potassium phosphate and dibasic potassium phosphate in water for injection. It is supplied as 15 mL single-dose vials. Monobasic Potassium Phosphate is chemically designated KH2PO4, molecular weight 136.09, white, odorless crystals or granules freely soluble in water. Dibasic Potassium Phosphate is chemically designated K2HPO4, molecular weight 174.18, colorless or white granular salt freely soluble in water. Each mL contains 224 mg of monobasic potassium phosphate and 236 mg of dibasic potassium phosphate. Each mL contains 3 mmol phosphorus (equivalent to 93 mg phosphorus) and 4.4 mEq potassium (equivalent to 170 mg of potassium). Note: 1 mmol of phosphorus is equal to 1 mmol phosphate. The pH is 6.0 to 7.0. This product contains no more than 900 mcg/L of aluminum [see Warnings and Precautions (5.5)]. The osmolarity is 7.4 mOsmol/mL (calc). The solution is administered after dilution or admixing by the intravenous route."
