"IndicationAndUsage": "Allergenic extracts are indicated for use in diagnostic testing and as part of a treatment regime for allergic disease, as established by allergy history and skin test reactivity. Glycerinated allergenic extracts are prepared with cocas fluid and glycerin to produce a 50% (v/v) allergenic extract. Allergenic Extracts are supplied as concentrations designated as protein nitrogen units (PNU) or weight/volume (w/v) ratio. Standardized extracts are designated in Bioequivalent Allergy Units (BAU) or Allergy Units (AU). (See product insert for standardized extracts). For diagnostic purposes, allergenic extracts are to be administered by prick-puncture or intradermal routes. Allergenic extracts are administered subcutaneously for immunotherapy injections."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Nifedipine extended-release tablets are indicated for the management of vasospastic angina confirmed by any of the following criteria: 1) classical pattern of angina at rest accompanied by ST segment elevation, 2) angina or coronary artery spasm provoked by ergonovine, or 3) angiographically demonstrated coronary artery spasm. In those patients who have had angiography, the presence of significant fixed obstructive disease is not incompatible with the diagnosis of vasospastic angina, provided that the above criteria are satisfied. Nifedipine extended-release tablets may also be used where the clinical presentation suggests a possible vasospastic component, but where vasospasm has not been confirmed, e.g., where pain has a variable threshold on exertion, or in unstable angina where electrocardiographic findings are compatible with intermittent vasospasm, or when angina is refractory to nitrates and/or adequate doses of beta blockers.",
"Description": "Nifedipine is a drug belonging to a class of pharmacological agents known as the calcium channel blockers. Nifedipine is 3,5-pyridinedicarboxylic acid, 1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-4- (2-nitrophenyl)-, dimethyl ester, C 17H 18N 2O 6, and has the structural formula:. Nifedipine is a yellow crystalline substance, practically insoluble in water but soluble in ethanol. It has a molecular weight of 346.3. Nifedipine extended-release tablets are formulated as a once-a-day controlled-release tablet for oral administration to provide 30, 60, or 90 mg of nifedipine. Inert ingredients in the nifedipine extended-release tablet formulation are lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose, hydroxyethyl cellulose, ethylcellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate, magnesium stearate, methacrylic acid and methyl methacrylate copolymer, polyethylene glycol, talc, polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide (30mg and 60mg), iron oxide yellow, iron oxide red, lecithin (soya) (30 mg and 90 mg), iron oxide black (30 mg and 90 mg)."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Oxcarbazepine tablets are indicated for use as monotherapy or adjunctive therapy in the treatment of partial-onset seizures in adults and as monotherapy in the treatment of partial-onset seizures in pediatric patients aged 4 years and above, and as adjunctive therapy in pediatric patients aged 2 years and above with partial-onset seizures.",
"Description": "Oxcarbazepine, USP is an antiepileptic drug available as 150 mg, 300 mg, and 600 mg film-coated tablets for oral administration. Oxcarbazepine is 10,11-Dihydro-10-oxo-5H-dibenz[b,f]azepine-5-carboxamide, and its structural formula is. Oxcarbazepine is a white to faintly orange crystalline powder. It is slightly soluble in chloroform, dichloromethane, acetone, and methanol and practically insoluble in ethanol, ether and water. Its molecular weight is 252.27. Oxcarbazepine film-coated tablets, USP contain the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, povidone, polyethylene glycol, croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone, sodium stearyl fumarate, hypromellose, polysorbate 80, titanium dioxide and yellow iron oxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Spironolactone is an aldosterone antagonist indicated for: : 1 The treatment of NYHA Class III-IV heart failure and reduced ejection fraction to increase survival, manage edema, and to reduce the need for hospitalization for heart failure (1.1)., 2 Use as an add-on therapy for the treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions (1.2)., 3 The management of edema in adult patients who are cirrhotic when edema is not responsive to fluid and sodium restrictions and in the setting of nephrotic syndrome when treatment of the underlying disease, restriction of fluid and sodium intake, and the use of other diuretics produce an inadequate response (1.3)., 4 Treatment of primary hyperaldosternism for: (1.4)Short-term preoperative treatmentLong-term maintenance for patients with discrete aldosterone-producing adrenal adenomas who are not candidates for surgery and patients with bilateral micro or macronodular adrenal hyperplasia.",
"Description": "Spironolactone tablets, USP contain 25 mg, 50 mg, or 100 mg of the aldosterone antagonist spironolactone, 17-hydroxy-7α-mercapto-3-oxo-17α-pregn-4-ene-21-carboxylic acid γ-lactone acetate, which has the following structural formula. Spironolactone, USP is practically insoluble in water, soluble in ethyl acetate and alcohol, freely soluble in benzene and in chloroform, slightly soluble in menthanol and very slightly soluble in fixed oils. Inactive ingredients include calcium sulfate dihydrate, colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, peppermint flavor, povidone and sodium lauryl sulfate. "IndicationAndUsage": "LYRICA CR is indicated for the management of: 1 Neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy, 2 Postherpetic neuralgia.",
"Description": "LYRICA CR (pregabalin extended-release) tablets are for oral use and contain pregabalin. Pregabalin is described chemically as (S)-3-(aminomethyl)-5-methylhexanoic acid. The molecular formula is C8H17NO2 and the molecular weight is 159.23. The chemical structure of pregabalin is. Pregabalin is a white to off-white, crystalline solid with a pKa1 of 4.2 and a pKa2 of 10.6. It is freely soluble in water and both basic and acidic aqueous solutions. The log of the partition coefficient (n-octanol/0.05M phosphate buffer) at pH 7.4 is – 1.35. LYRICA CR extended-release tablets are administered orally and contain 82.5, 165, or 330 mg of pregabalin, along with Kollidon SR (polyvinyl acetate, povidone, sodium lauryl sulphate, and silica), crospovidone, polyethylene oxide, carbomer, magnesium stearate, polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide, talc, polyethylene glycol, and colorants as inactive ingredients."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Lithium is a mood-stabilizing agent indicated as monotherapy for the treatment of bipolar I disorder: 1 Treatment of acute manic and mixed episodes in patients 7 years and older [see Clinical Studies (14)], 2 Maintenance treatment in patients 7 years and older [see Clinical Studies (14)].",
"Description": "Each 5 mL of solution for oral administration contains lithium ion (Li+), 8 mEq (equivalent to amount of lithium in 300 mg of lithium carbonate), and the following inactive ingredients: citric acid anhydrous, purified water, propylene glycol, methylparaben, propylparaben, glycerin, sorbitol solution, and artificial raspberry flavor. It may also contain hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment. Lithium Oral Solution is a palatable oral dosage form of lithium ion. It is prepared in solution from lithium carbonate and citric acid in a ratio approximately di-lithium citrate. Lithium is an element of the alkali-metal group with atomic number 3, atomic weight 6.94, and an emission line at 671 nm on the flame photometer. The empirical formula for Lithium Citrate is C6H5Li3O7; molecular weight 209.93. Lithium acts as an antimanic. Lithium Carbonate USP is a granular, white powder with molecular formula Li2CO3 and molecular weight 73.89."

"IndicationAndUsage": "To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of cefdinir and other antibacterial drugs, cefdinir should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. When culture and susceptibility information are available, they should be considered in selecting or modifying antibacterial therapy. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy.Cefdinir for oral suspension is indicated for the treatment of patients with mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms in the conditions listed below.",
"Description": "Cefdinir for oral suspension, USP contains the active ingredient cefdinir USP, an extended-spectrum, semisynthetic cephalosporin, for oral administration. Chemically, cefdinir is [6R-[6α,7β (Z)]]-7-[[(2-amino-4-thiazolyl)(hydroxyimino)acetyl]amino]-3-ethenyl-8-oxo-5-thia-1-azabicyclo[4.2.0]oct-2-ene-2-carboxylic acid. Cefdinir USP is a white to slightly brownish-yellow solid. It is slightly soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid and sparingly soluble in 0.1 M pH 7.0 phosphate buffer. The molecular formula is C14H13N5O5S2 and the molecular weight is 395.42. Cefdinir has the structural formula shown below. Cefdinir for oral suspension, USP after reconstitution, contains 125 mg cefdinir USP per 5 mL or 250 mg cefdinir USP per 5 mL and the following inactive ingredients: sucrose, sodium benzoate, colloidal silicone dioxide, xanthan gum, guar gum, citric acid (anhydrous), sodium citrate (dihydrate), strawberry flavour, fresh cream flavour and magnesium stearate."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Divalproex Sodium Delayed-Release Tablets, USP are an anti-epileptic drug indicated for: 1 Treatment of manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder (1.1), 2 Monotherapy and adjunctive therapy of complex partial seizures and simple and complex absence seizures; adjunctive therapy in patients with multiple seizure types that include absence seizures (1.2), 3 Prophylaxis of migraine headaches (1.3).",
"Description": "Divalproex sodium is a stable co-ordination compound comprised of sodium valproate and valproic acid in a 1:1 molar relationship and formed during the partial neutralization of valproic acid with 0.5 equivalent of sodium hydroxide. Chemically it is designated as sodium hydrogen bis(2-propylpentanoate). Divalproex sodium has the following structure. Divalproex sodium occurs as a white powder with a characteristic odor. Divalproex Sodium Delayed-Release Tablets, USP are for oral administration. Divalproex Sodium Delayed-Release Tablets, USP are supplied in three dosage strengths containing divalproex sodium equivalent to 125 mg, 250 mg, or 500 mg of valproic acid. Inactive Ingredients. Divalproex Sodium Delayed-Release Tablets, USP contain the following inactive ingredients: methacrylic acid copolymer type C, povidone, pregelatinized corn starch, silicon dioxide, simethicone emulsion, sodium bicarbonate, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, triethyl citrate, titanium dioxide, vanillin. The tablets are imprinted using a pharmaceutical ink. In addition, individual tablets contain. 125 mg tablets: FD&C Red No. 40.250 mg tablets: FD&C Yellow No. 6 and iron oxide red.500 mg tablets: FD&C Red No. 40."

Allergenic Extracts are supplied as concentrations designated as protein nitrogen units (PNU) or weight/volume (w/v) ratio. Standardized extracts are designated in Bioequivalent Allergy Units (BAU) or Allergy Units (AU). (See product insert for standardized extracts). For diagnostic purposes, allergenic extracts are to be administered by prick-puncture or intradermal routes. Allergenic extracts are administered subcutaneously for immunotherapy injections."
