"IndicationAndUsage": "Allergenic extracts are indicated for use in diagnostic testing and as part of a treatment regime for allergic disease, as established by allergy history and skin test reactivity. Aqueous extracts are prepared using cocas fluid containing NaCl 0.5%, NaHCO3 0.0275%, WFI, preservative 0.4% Phenol. Glycerinated allergenic extracts are prepared with cocas fluid and glycerin to produce a 50% (v/v) allergenic extract. Allergenic Extracts are supplied as concentrations designated as protein nitrogen units (PNU) or weight/volume (w/v) ratio. Standardized extracts are designated in Bioequivalent Allergy Units (BAU) or Allergy Units (AU). (See product insert for standardized extracts). For diagnostic purposes, allergenic extracts are to be administered by prick-puncture or intradermal routes. Allergenic extracts are administered subcutaneously for immunotherapy injections."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Spironolactone is an aldosterone antagonist indicated for: 1 The treatment of NYHA Class III–IV heart failure and reduced ejection fraction to increase survival, manage edema, and to reduce the need for hospitalization for heart failure ( 1.1). , 2 Use as an add-on therapy for the treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions ( 1.2). , 3 The management of edema in adult patients who are cirrhotic when edema is not responsive to fluid and sodium restrictions and in the setting of nephrotic syndrome when treatment of the underlying disease, restriction of fluid and sodium intake, and the use of other diuretics produce an inadequate response ( 1.3). , 4 Treatment of primary hyperaldosternism for: ( 1.4) Short-term preoperative treatmentLong-term maintenance for patients with discrete aldosterone-producing adrenal adenomas who are not candidates for surgery and patients with bilateral micro or macronodular adrenal hyperplasia.",
"Description": "Spironolactone oral tablets USP, for oral administration contain 25 mg, 50 mg, or 100 mg of the aldosterone antagonist spironolactone, 17-hydroxy-7α-mercapto-3-oxo-17α-pregn-4-ene-21-carboxylic acid γ-lactone acetate, which has the following structural formula. Spironolactone is practically insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol, and freely soluble in benzene and in chloroform. Inactive ingredients include lactose monohydrate, dibasic calcium phosphate, povidone, peppermint oil, purified talc, pregelatinised starch, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, polyethylene glycol 400, titanium dioxide and iron oxide yellow. In addition iron oxide red (50 mg and 100 mg tablets) is included in the film coating of specific strengths."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Ondansetron is indicated for the prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with: 1 highly emetogenic cancer chemotherapy, including cisplatin greater than or equal to 50 mg/m 2, 2 initial and repeat courses of moderately emetogenic cancer chemotherapy, 3 radiotherapy in patients receiving either total body irradiation, single high-dose fraction to the abdomen, or daily fractions to the abdomen.",
"Description": "The active ingredient in Ondansetron Tablets, USP is ondansetron hydrochloride, USP as the dihydrate, the racemic form of ondansetron and a selective blocking agent of the serotonin 5-HT 3receptor type. Chemically it is (±) 1, 2, 3, 9-tetrahydro-9-methyl-3-[(2-methyl-1H-imidazol-1-yl)methyl]-4H-carbazol-4-one, monohydrochloride, dihydrate. It has the following structural formula:. The empirical formula is C 18H 19N 3OHCl2H 2O, representing a molecular weight of 365.85 g/mol. Ondansetron hydrochloride, USP (dihydrate) is a white to off-white powder that is sparingly soluble in water and in alcohol; soluble in methanol, slightly soluble in isopropyl alcohol, and in dichloromethane; very slightly soluble in acetone, in chloroform and in ethyl acetate. The active ingredient in Ondansetron Orally Disintegrating Tablets, USP is ondansetron base, the racemic form of ondansetron, and a selective blocking agent of the serotonin 5-HT 3receptor type. Chemically it is (±) 1, 2, 3, 9-tetrahydro-9-methyl-3-[(2-methyl-1H-imidazol-1-yl)methyl]-4H-carbazol-4-one. It has the following structural formula:. The empirical formula is C 18H 19N 3O representing a molecular weight of 293.4 g/mol. Each 4-mg Ondansetron Tablet, USP for oral administration contains ondansetron hydrochloride, USP (dihydrate) equivalent to 4 mg of ondansetron. Each 8-mg Ondansetron Tablet, USP for oral administration contains ondansetron hydrochloride, USP (dihydrate) equivalent to 8 mg of ondansetron. Each tablet also contains the inactive ingredients colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, iron oxide yellow (8 mg tablet only), lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, titanium dioxide and triacetin. Each 4-mg Ondansetron Orally Disintegrating Tablet, USP for oral administration contains 4 mg ondansetron base. Each 8-mg Ondansetron Orally Disintegrating Tablet, USP for oral administration contains 8 mg ondansetron base. Each Ondansetron Orally Disintegrating Tablet, USP also contains the inactive ingredients aspartame, colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, magnesium stearate, mannitol, sodium stearyl fumarate and strawberry flavor. Ondansetron Orally Disintegrating Tablets, USP are an orally administered formulation of ondansetron which rapidly disintegrates on the tongue and does not require water to aid dissolution or swallowing. This product disintegrates in approximately 60 seconds. Ondansetron Orally Disintegrating Tablets, USP meet USP Disintegration Test 2."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Isosorbide Mononitrate Extended-Release Tablets are indicated for the prevention of angina pectoris due to coronary artery disease. The onset of action of oral isosorbide mononitrate is not sufficiently rapid for this product to be useful in aborting an acute anginal episode.",
"Description": "Isosorbide mononitrate (ISMN), an organic nitrate and the major biologically active metabolite of isosorbide dinitrate (ISDN), is a vasodilator with effects on both arteries and veins. Each tablet, for oral administration, contains either 30 mg, 60 mg or 120 mg of isosorbide mononitrate in an extended-release formulation. In addition, ISMN 30 mg tablets, USP contains the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, compressible sugar, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate. ISMN 60 mg tablets, USP contains the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, compressible sugar, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, yellow iron oxide. ISMN 120 mg tablets, USP contains the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate and talc. The molecular formula of ISMN is C 6H 9NO 6 and the molecular weight is 191.14. The chemical name for ISMN is: 1,4:3,6-dianhydro-,D-glucitol 5-nitrate; the compound has the following structural formula:. ISMN is a white, crystalline, odorless compound which is stable in air and in solution, has a melting point of about 90°C, and an optical rotation of +144° (2% in water, 20°C). Isosorbide mononitrate is freely soluble in water, ethanol, methanol, chloroform, ethyl acetate, and dichloromethane. Isosorbide Mononitrate Extended-Release 120mg Tablets, USP meets USP Dissolution Test 7. FDA approved dissolution acceptance criteria for Isosorbide Mononitrate Extended-Release 30mg and 60mg Tablets, USP differ from that of the USP."

"IndicationAndUsage": "GONAL-f® RFF Redi-ject® is a prefilled gonadotropin-containing auto-injection device indicated for: 1 Induction of ovulation and pregnancy in oligo-anovulatory women in whom the cause of infertility is functional and not due to primary ovarian failure (1.1), 2 Development of multiple follicles in ovulatory women as part of an Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) cycle (1.2).",
"Description": "Follitropin alfa, a gonadotropin [human follicle stimulating hormone (hFSH)], is a glycoprotein hormone produced by recombinant DNA technology in a Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cell line. It has a dimeric structure consisting of two glycoprotein subunits (alpha and beta). The alpha and beta subunits have 92 and 111 amino acids, respectively, and their primary and tertiary structures are indistinguishable from those of human follicle stimulating hormone. The molecular weight is approximately 31 kDa (14 kDa for alpha subunit and 17 kDa for beta subunit). GONAL-f® RFF Redi-ject® (follitropin alfa) injection is a sterile, clear and colorless to slightly yellow solution in disposable, prefilled single-patient-use pen intended for the subcutaneous use. Each GONAL-f® RFF Redi-ject® pen delivers 300 International Units (22 mcg) follitropin alfa in 0.48 mL and the inactive ingredients: dibasic sodium phosphate (0.43 mg), m-cresol (1.47 mg), methionine (0.05 mg), monobasic sodium phosphate (0.19 mg), poloxamer (0.05 mg), sucrose (29.47 mg) and Water for Injection USP. Phosphoric acid and/or sodium hydroxide may be used to adjust the pH to 7. Each GONAL-f® RFF Redi-ject® pen delivers 450 International Units (33 mcg) follitropin alfa in 0.72 mL and the inactive ingredients: dibasic sodium phosphate (0.65 mg), m-cresol (2.21 mg), methionine (0.07 mg), monobasic sodium phosphate (0.29 mg), poloxamer (0.07 mg), sucrose (44.20 mg) and Water for Injection USP. Phosphoric acid and/or sodium hydroxide may be used to adjust the pH to 7. Each GONAL-f® RFF Redi-ject® pen delivers 900 International Units (66 mcg) follitropin alfa in 1.44 mL and the inactive ingredients: dibasic sodium phosphate (1.3 mg), m-cresol (4.42 mg), methionine (0.15 mg), monobasic sodium phosphate (0.58 mg), poloxamer (0.15 mg), sucrose (88.41 mg) and Water for Injection USP. Phosphoric acid and/or sodium hydroxide may be used to adjust the pH to 7. Under current storage conditions, GONAL-f® RFF Redi-ject® may contain up to 10% of oxidized follitropin alfa."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Hypertension. Metoprolol tartrate tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. They may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents. Angina Pectoris. Metoprolol tartrate tablets are indicated in the long-term treatment of angina pectoris. Myocardial Infarction. Metoprolol tartrate tablets are indicated in the treatment of hemodynamically stable patients with definite or suspected acute myocardial infarction to reduce cardiovascular mortality when used alone or in conjunction with intravenous metoprolol. Oral Metoprolol tartrate tablets therapy can be initiated after intravenous metoprolol therapy or, alternatively, oral treatment can begin within 3 to 10 days of the acute event. (See DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION, CONTRAINDICATIONS, and WARNINGS).",
"Description": "Metoprolol tartrate is a selective beta1-adrenoreceptor blocking agent, available as 25 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg tablets for oral administration. Metoprolol tartrate is (±)-1-(isopropylamino)-3-[p-2-methoxyethyl)phenoxy]-2-propanol (2:1) dextro-tartrate salt. Its structural formula is:. Metoprolol tartrate, USP is a white, crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 684.82. It is very soluble in water; freely soluble in methylene chloride, in chloroform, and in alcohol; slightly soluble in acetone; and insoluble in ether. Each tablet for oral administration contains 25 mg, 50 mg, or 100 mg of metoprolol tartrate and the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide, sodium starch glycolate, talc and D & C Red #30 Aluminium Lake."

Aqueous extracts are prepared using cocas fluid containing NaCl 0.5%, NaHCO3 0.0275%, WFI, preservative 0.4% Phenol. Glycerinated allergenic extracts are prepared with cocas fluid and glycerin to produce a 50% (v/v) allergenic extract. Allergenic Extracts are supplied as concentrations designated as protein nitrogen units (PNU) or weight/volume (w/v) ratio. Standardized extracts are designated in Bioequivalent Allergy Units (BAU) or Allergy Units (AU). (See product insert for standardized extracts). For diagnostic purposes, allergenic extracts are to be administered by prick-puncture or intradermal routes. Allergenic extracts are administered subcutaneously for immunotherapy injections."
