"IndicationAndUsage": "Non-Standardized Allergenic Extracts are indicated for. : 1 Skin test diagnosis of patients with a clinical history of allergies to one or more of the specific non-standardized allergens., 2 Immunotherapy for the reduction of allergen-induced allergic symptoms confirmed by appropriate positive skin tests or by in vitro testing for allergen-specific IgE antibodies.",
"Description": "Non-Standardized Allergenic Extracts are sterile solutions used for percutaneous testing, intradermal testing, or subcutaneous immunotherapy. Aqueous extracts contain the soluble extractants of the source material in water for injection, 0.5% sodium chloride, 0.54% sodium bicarbonate, and 0.4% phenol. Glycerinated extracts contain the soluable extractants of the source material in water for injection and 50% glycerin, 0.25% sodium chloride, 0.27% sodium bicarbonate, and 0.2% phenol. The pH of the extracts range from 6 to 9. Certain food extracts (Barley, Oat, Pineapple, Rye, Spinach, and Wheat), labeled “For Diagnostic Use Only”, contain 0.1% sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate as an antioxidant. Source materials used in the manufacture of allergenic extracts are collected from natural sources or from laboratory cultures. Non-Standardized Allergenic Extracts appear as clear and colorless to dark brown solutions that should be free of particulate matter. Extracts are labeled either as weight-to-volume based on the weight of the source material to the volume of the extracting fluid, or as PNU/milliliter with one PNU representing 0.00001 mg of protein nitrogen per milliliter."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Tri-Lo-Marzia is an estrogen/progestin COC, indicated for use by women to prevent pregnancy. (1.1).",
"Description": "Tri-Lo-Marzia is a combination oral contraceptive containing the progestational compound norgestimate and the estrogenic compound ethinyl estradiol. Norgestimate is designated as ((+)-13-Ethyl-17-hydroxy-18, 19-dinor-17a-pregn-4-en-20-yn-3-one oxime acetate (ester)) and ethinyl estradiol is designated as (19-nor-17a-pregna,1,3,5(10)-trien-20-yne-3,17-diol). : 1 Each active white film-coated tablet contains 0.18 mg norgestimate and 0.025 mg ethinyl estradiol. Inactive ingredients include anhydrous lactose, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, povidone and titanium dioxide., 2 Each active light blue film-coated tablet contains 0.215 mg norgestimate and 0.025 mg ethinyl estradiol. Inactive ingredients include anhydrous lactose, croscarmellose sodium, FD&C Blue No. 2 Aluminium Lake, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, povidone and titanium dioxide., 3 Each active blue film-coated tablet contains 0.25 mg norgestimate and 0.025 mg ethinyl estradiol. "IndicationAndUsage": "Losartan potassium and hydrochlorothiazide is a combination of losartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) and hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic indicated for: 1 Treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions. (1.1), 2 Reduction of the risk of stroke in patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy. There is evidence that this benefit does not apply to Black patients. (1.2).",
"Description": "Losartan potassium and Hydrochlorothiazide Tablets USP, 50/12.5, Losartan potassium and Hydrochlorothiazide Tablets USP, 100/12.5 and Losartan potassium and Hydrochlorothiazide Tablets USP, 100/25 combine an angiotensin II receptor blocker acting on the AT1 receptor subtype and a diuretic, hydrochlorothiazide. Losartan potassium, a non-peptide molecule, is chemically described as 2-butyl-4-chloro-1-[p-(o-1Htetrazol-5-ylphenyl)benzyl]imidazole-5-methanol monopotassium salt. Its empirical formula is C22H22ClKN6O, and its structural formula is. Losartan potassium, USP is a white to off-white free-flowing crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 461.01. It is freely soluble in water, soluble in alcohols, and slightly soluble in common organic solvents, such as acetonitrile and methyl ethyl ketone. Oxidation of the 5-hydroxymethyl group on the imidazole ring results in the active metabolite of losartan. Hydrochlorothiazide is 6-chloro-3,4-dihydro-2H-1,2,4-benzothiadiazine-7-sulfonamide 1,1-dioxide. Its empirical formula is C7H8ClN3O4S2 and its structural formula is. Hydrochlorothiazide, USP is a white, or practically white, crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 297.74, which is slightly soluble in water, but freely soluble in sodium hydroxide solution. Losartan potassium and hydrochlorothiazide is available for oral administration in three tablet combinations of losartan and hydrochlorothiazide. Losartan potassium and hydrochlorothiazide tablets 50/12.5 contains 50 mg of losartan potassium, USP and 12.5 mg of hydrochlorothiazide, USP. Losartan potassium and hydrochlorothiazide tablets 100/12.5 contains 100 mg of losartan potassium, USP and 12.5 mg of hydrochlorothiazide, USP. Losartan potassium and hydrochlorothiazide tablets 100/25 contains 100 mg of losartan potassium, USP and 25 mg of hydrochlorothiazide, USP. Inactive ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, pregelatinized starch, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, titanium dioxide and carnauba wax. Losartan potassium and hydrochlorothiazide 50/12.5 and losartan potassium and Hydrochlorothiazide 100/25 also contain D&C yellow No. 10 aluminum lake. "IndicationAndUsage": "Estradiol Tablets USP are indicated in the: 1 Treatment of moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms associated with the menopause., 2 Treatment of moderate to severe symptoms of vulvar and vaginal atrophy associated with the menopause. When prescribing solely for the treatment of symptoms of vulvar and vaginal atrophy, topical vaginal products should be considered., 3 Treatment of hypoestrogenism due to hypogonadism, castration or primary ovarian failure., 4 Treatment of breast cancer (for palliation only) in appropriately selected women and men with metastatic disease., 5 Treatment of advanced androgen-dependent carcinoma of the prostate (for palliation only)., 6 Prevention of osteoporosis. When prescribing solely for the prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis, therapy should only be considered for women at significant risk of osteoporosis and for whom non-estrogen medications are not considered to be appropriate. "Description": "Estradiol Tablets USP for oral administration contains 0.5, 1 or 2 mg of micronized estradiol per tablet. Estradiol (17β-estradiol) is a white, crystalline solid, chemically described as estra-1,3,5,(10)-triene-3, 17β-diol. The structural formula is. Inactive Ingredients: Colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, dibasic calcium phosphate, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, and sodium starch glycolate. In addition, the 1 mg also contains FD&C blue no. 1 aluminum lake and D&C red no. 27 aluminum lake. The 2 mg also contains FD&C blue no. 1 aluminum lake and FD&C yellow no. 5 (tartrazine) aluminum lake."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Methylphenidate hydrochloride tablets are indicated for the treatment of: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD) in pediatric patients 6 years and older and adults Narcolepsy.",
"Description": "Methylphenidate hydrochloride tablets contain methylphenidate hydrochloride, a CNS stimulant. It is available as tablets of 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg strengths for oral administration. Methylphenidate hydrochloride is methyl α-phenyl-2-piperidineacetate hydrochloride, and its structural formula is. Methylphenidate hydrochloride USP is a white, odorless, fine crystalline powder. Its solutions are acid to litmus. It is freely soluble in water and in methanol, soluble in alcohol, and slightly soluble in chloroform and in acetone. Its molecular weight is 269.77 g/mol. Methylphenidate hydrochloride tablets contain the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, silicified microcrystalline cellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate, magnesium stearate and D&C Yellow #10 (5 mg and 20 mg tablets)."

Glycerinated allergenic extracts are prepared with cocas fluid and glycerin to produce a 50% (v/v) allergenic extract. Allergenic Extracts are supplied as concentrations designated as protein nitrogen units (PNU) or weight/volume (w/v) ratio. Standardized extracts are designated in Bioequivalent Allergy Units (BAU) or Allergy Units (AU). (See product insert for standardized extracts). For diagnostic purposes, allergenic extracts are to be administered by prick-puncture or intradermal routes. Allergenic extracts are administered subcutaneously for immunotherapy injections."
