"IndicationAndUsage": "Allergenic extracts are indicated for use in diagnostic testing and as part of a treatment regime for allergic disease, as established by allergy history and skin test reactivity. Allergenic extracts are indicated for the treatment of allergen specific allergic disease for use as hyposensitization or immunotherapy when avoidance of specific allergens can not be attained. The use of allergenic extracts for therapeutic purpose has been established by well-controlled clinical studies. Allergenic extracts may be used as adjunctive therapy along with pharmacotherapy which includes antihistamines, corticosteroids, and cromoglycate, and avoidance measures. Allergenic extracts for therapeutic use should be given using only the allergen selection to which the patient is allergic, has a history of exposure and are likely to be exposed to again.",

Aqueous extracts are prepared using cocas fluid containing NaCl 0.5%, NaHCO3 0.0275%, WFI, preservative 0.4% Phenol. Glycerinated allergenic extracts are prepared with cocas fluid and glycerin to produce a 50% (v/v) allergenic extract. Allergenic Extracts are supplied as concentrations designated as protein nitrogen units (PNU) or weight/volume (w/v) ratio. Standardized extracts are designated in Bioequivalent Allergy Units (BAU) or Allergy Units (AU). (See product insert for standardized extracts). For diagnostic purposes, allergenic extracts are to be administered by prick-puncture or intradermal routes. Allergenic extracts are administered subcutaneously for immunotherapy injections."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Citalopram tablets are indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) in adults [see Clinical Studies (14)].",
"Description": "Citalopram tablets, USP contains citalopram, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). Citalopram hydrobromide is a racemic bicyclic phthalane structure and is designated (±)-1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-1-(4-fluorophenyl)-1,3-dihydroisobenzofuran-5-carbonitrile hydrobromide with the following structural formula. The molecular formula is C20H22BrFN2O and its molecular weight is 405.35.Citalopram hydrobromide USP occurs as a fine, white to off-white powder. Citalopram hydrobromide is sparingly soluble in water and soluble in ethanol. Citalopram tablets, USP are for oral administration and are available as film-coated round and capsule shaped tablets. The strengths reflect citalopram base equivalent content. The 10 mg, 20 mg, and 40 mg strength tablets contain 12.49 mg, 24.98 mg, and 49.96 mg of citalopram hydrobromide, respectively. The 20 mg and 40 mg tablets are scored. Inactive ingredients: copovidone, corn starch, croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, and titanium dioxide. Iron oxides are used as coloring agents in the peach (10 mg) and light pink (20 mg) tablets."

Azithromycin is derived from erythromycin; however, it differs chemically from erythromycin in that a methyl-substituted nitrogen atom is incorporated into the lactone ring. Its molecular formula is C38H72N2O12, and its molecular weight is 749.00. Azithromycin has the following structural formula:. Azithromycin, as the monohydrate, is a white to almost white crystalline powder with a molecular formula of C38H72N2O12H2O and a molecular weight of 767.00. Azithromycin is supplied as tablets containing azithromycin monohydrate equivalent to either 250 mg or 500 mg azithromycin and the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, dibasic calcium phosphate, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, sodium lauryl sulfate, titanium dioxide, triacetin and D&C Red #30. Organic Impurities Test Pending."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Enalapril maleate tablets, USP is indicated for the treatment of hypertension. Enalapril maleate tablets, USP is effective alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents, especially thiazide-type diuretics. The blood pressure lowering effects of enalapril maleate and thiazides are approximately additive.",
"Description": "Enalapril maleate, USP is the maleate salt of enalapril, the ethyl ester of a long-acting angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor, enalaprilat. Enalapril maleate is chemically described as L–Proline, 1–[N-[1-(ethoxycarbonyl)–3–phenylpropyl]–L–alanyl]-,(S)-,(Z)-2-butenedioate(1:1). Its empirical formula is C20H28N2O5●C4H4O4, and its structural formula is. Enalapril maleate, USP is an off-white, crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 492.52. It is practically insoluble in n-Heptane (non-polar organic solvents), slightly soluble in Acetone (semi polar organic solvents), sparingly soluble in water, soluble in alcohol, freely soluble in methanol and in dimethyl formamide. Enalapril is a pro-drug; following oral administration, it is bioactivated by hydrolysis of the ethyl ester to enalaprilat, which is the active angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor. Enalapril maleate, USP is supplied as 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg tablets for oral administration. In addition to the active ingredient enalapril maleate, USP each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol 4000, pregelatinised starch, sodium bicarbonate and sodium stearate. The 10 mg tablets also contain red iron oxide, and 20 mg tablets also contain yellow iron oxide and red iron oxide. FDA approved dissolution test specifications differs from the USP."

"Description": "Azithromycin tablets USP contain the active ingredient azithromycin, a macrolide antibacterial drug, for oral administration. Azithromycin has the chemical name (2R,3S,4R,5R,8R,10R,11R,12S,13S,14R)-13-[(2,6-dideoxy-3-C-methyl-3-O-methyl-α-L-ribo-hexopyranosyl) oxy]-2-ethyl-3,4,10-trihydroxy-3,5,6,8,10,12,14-heptamethyl-11-[[3,4,6-trideoxy-3-(dimethylamino)-β-D-xylo-hexopyranosyl]oxy]-1-oxa-6-azacyclopentadecan-15-one. Azithromycin is derived from erythromycin; however, it differs chemically from erythromycin in that a methyl-substituted nitrogen atom is incorporated into the lactone ring. Its molecular formula is C38H72N2O12, and its molecular weight is 749.00. Azithromycin has the following structural formula:. Azithromycin, as the monohydrate, is a white to almost white crystalline powder with a molecular formula of C38H72N2O12H2O and a molecular weight of 767.00. Azithromycin is supplied as tablets containing azithromycin monohydrate equivalent to either 250 mg or 500 mg azithromycin and the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, dibasic calcium phosphate, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, sodium lauryl sulfate, titanium dioxide, triacetin and D&C Red #30. Glycerinated allergenic extracts are prepared with cocas fluid and glycerin to produce a 50% (v/v) allergenic extract. Allergenic Extracts are supplied as concentrations designated as protein nitrogen units (PNU) or weight/volume (w/v) ratio. Standardized extracts are designated in Bioequivalent Allergy Units (BAU) or Allergy Units (AU). (See product insert for standardized extracts). For diagnostic purposes, allergenic extracts are to be administered by prick-puncture or intradermal routes. Allergenic extracts are administered subcutaneously for immunotherapy injections."
