"IndicationAndUsage": "Ropinirole tablets are a non-ergoline dopamine agonist indicated for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease (PD) and moderate-to-severe primary Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS). (1.1, 1.2).",
"Description": "Ropinirole tablets contain ropinirole, a non-ergoline dopamine agonist, as the hydrochloride salt. The chemical name of ropinirole hydrochloride is 4-[2-(dipropylamino)ethyl]-1,3-dihydro-2H-indol-2-one and the empirical formula is C16H24N2OHCl. The molecular weight is 296.84 (260.38 as the free base). The structural formula is. Ropinirole hydrochloride, USP is a white to yellow solid with a melting range of 243oC to 250°C and a solubility of 133 mg/mL in water. Each round biconvex film-coated ropinirole tablet contains 0.29, 0.57, 1.14, 2.28, 3.42, 4.56, or 5.70 mg of ropinirole hydrochloride equivalent to ropinirole 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 mg, respectively. Inactive ingredients of the core tablets consist of croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropyl cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose. Inactive ingredients of the film coats are slightly different among the 7 strengths of tablets and are tabulated below. FDA approved dissolution test specifications differ from USP."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Atorvastatin calcium tablets are indicated: To reduce the risk of: o Myocardial infarction (MI), stroke, revascularization procedures, and angina in adults with multiple risk factors for coronary heart disease (CHD) but without clinically evident CHD o MI and stroke in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus with multiple risk factors for CHD but without clinically evident CHD o Non-fatal MI, fatal and non-fatal stroke, revascularization procedures, hospitalization for congestive heart failure, and angina in adults with clinically evident CHD As an adjunct to diet to reduce low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in: o Adults with primary hyperlipidemia. o Adults and pediatric patients aged 10 years and older with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HeFH). As an adjunct to other LDL-C-lowering therapies, or alone if such treatments are unavailable, to reduce LDL-C in adults and pediatric patients aged 10 years and older with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH). As an adjunct to diet for the treatment of adults with: o Primary dysbetalipoproteinemia o Hypertriglyceridemia.",
"Description": "Atorvastatin is an inhibitor of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase. Atorvastatin calcium is 1 H-Pyrrole-1-heptanoic acid, 2-(4-fluorophenyl)- β,δ-dihydroxy-5-(1-methylethyl)-3-phenyl-4-[(phenylamino) carbonyl]-, calcium salt (2:1), [R-(R*, R*)] trihydrate. The molecular formula of atorvastatin calcium is (C 33H 34FN 2O 5) 2Ca 2+3H 2O and its molecular weight is 1209.42. Its structural formula is:. Atorvastatin calcium, USP is a white to off-white powder. Atorvastatin calcium is very slightly soluble in pH 1.2, pH 4.5 and pH 6.8 buffers; freely soluble in methanol; slightly soluble in ethanol; practically insoluble in acetonitrile. Atorvastatin Calcium Tablets, USP for oral use contain atorvastatin 10 mg, 20 mg, 40 mg, or 80 mg (equivalent to 10.825 mg, 21.649 mg, 43.299 mg or 86.597 mg atorvastatin calcium trihydrate, USP) and the following inactive ingredients: calcium carbonate, croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropyl cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polysorbate 80 and film coating contains hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, talc and titanium dioxide. USP dissolution test is pending."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Atorvastatin calcium tablets are indicated: To reduce the risk of: o Myocardial infarction (MI), stroke, revascularization procedures, and angina in adults with multiple risk factors for coronary heart disease (CHD) but without clinically evident CHD o MI and stroke in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus with multiple risk factors for CHD but without clinically evident CHD o Non-fatal MI, fatal and non-fatal stroke, revascularization procedures, hospitalization for congestive heart failure, and angina in adults with clinically evident CHD As an adjunct to diet to reduce low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in: o Adults with primary hyperlipidemia. o Adults and pediatric patients aged 10 years and older with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HeFH). As an adjunct to other LDL-C-lowering therapies, or alone if such treatments are unavailable, to reduce LDL-C in adults and pediatric patients aged 10 years and older with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH). As an adjunct to diet for the treatment of adults with: o Primary dysbetalipoproteinemia o Hypertriglyceridemia.",
"Description": "Atorvastatin is an inhibitor of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase. Atorvastatin calcium is 1 H-Pyrrole-1-heptanoic acid, 2-(4-fluorophenyl)- β,δ-dihydroxy-5-(1-methylethyl)-3-phenyl-4-[(phenylamino) carbonyl]-, calcium salt (2:1), [R-(R*, R*)] trihydrate. The molecular formula of atorvastatin calcium is (C 33H 34FN 2O 5) 2Ca 2+3H 2O and its molecular weight is 1209.42. Its structural formula is:. Atorvastatin calcium, USP is a white to off-white powder. Atorvastatin calcium is very slightly soluble in pH 1.2, pH 4.5 and pH 6.8 buffers; freely soluble in methanol; slightly soluble in ethanol; practically insoluble in acetonitrile. Atorvastatin Calcium Tablets, USP for oral use contain atorvastatin 10 mg, 20 mg, 40 mg, or 80 mg (equivalent to 10.825 mg, 21.649 mg, 43.299 mg or 86.597 mg atorvastatin calcium trihydrate, USP) and the following inactive ingredients: calcium carbonate, croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropyl cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polysorbate 80 and film coating contains hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, talc and titanium dioxide. USP dissolution test is pending."

"Description": "Vancomycin Hydrochloride for Injection, USP, contains the hydrochloride salt of vancomycin, a tricyclic glycopeptide antibacterial derived from Amycolatopsis orientalis (formerly Nocardia orientalis). The chemical name for vancomycin hydrochloride, USP is (Sa)- (3S,6R,7R,22R,23S,26S,36R,38aR)-44-[[2-O-(3-Amino-2,3,6-trideoxy-3-C-methyl-α-L-lyxohexo-pyranosyl)-β-D-glucopyranosyl]oxy]-3-(carbamoylmethyl)-10,19-dichloro- 2,3,4,5,6,7,23,24,25, 26,36,37,38,38a-tetradecahydro-7,22,28,30,32-pentahydroxy-6-[(2R)-4-methyl-2 (methylamino) valeramido]-2,5,24,38,39-pentaoxo-22H-8,11:18,21-dietheno-23,36-(iminomethano) 13,16:31,35-dimetheno-1H,16H-[l,6,9]oxadiazacyclohexadecino[4,5-m][10,2,16]-benzoxadia- zacyclotetracosine-26-carboxylic acid, monohydrochloride. The molecular formula is C66H75Cl2N9O24 HCl and the molecular weight is 1,485.71. Vancomycin hydrochloride, USP has the following structural formula. Vancomycin Hydrochloride for Injection, USP is a sterile off-white to light tan colored lyophilized plug or powder for injection. Vancomycin Hydrochloride for Injection, USP is supplied in single-dose vials, containing 769 mg, 1.28 g, or 1.54 g of vancomycin hydrochloride, USP equivalent to 750 mg, 1.25 g, or 1.5 g of vancomycin base. The lyophilized powder is reconstituted with Sterile Water for Injection, USP which forms a clear, colorless or light to dark tan solution and subsequently diluted prior to intravenous administration [see Dosage and Administration (2.5)]."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Prucalopride tablet is indicated for the treatment of chronic idiopathic constipation (CIC) in adults.",
"Description": "Prucalopride tablets for oral use contain prucalopride succinate, a dihydrobenzofurancarboxamide that is a serotonin type 4 (5-HT4) receptor agonist. The IUPAC name is: 4-amino-5-chloro-N-[1-(3-methoxypropyl)piperidin-4-yl]-2,3-dihydrobenzofuran-7-carboxamide succinate. The molecular formula is C18H26ClN3O3.C4H6O4 and the molecular weight is 485.96. The structural formula is. Prucalopride succinate is a white to almost white powder. It is highly soluble in acidic aqueous media and alkaline aqueous media up to a pH of approximately 9. Each 1-mg film-coated tablet of prucalopride contains 1 mg of prucalopride (equivalent to 1.32 mg prucalopride succinate), and the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, anhydrous lactose, magnesium stearate, and microcrystalline cellulose. The coating for the 1-mg tablet contains hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, polyethylene glycol 3000, titanium dioxide, and triacetin. Each 2-mg film-coated tablet of prucalopride contains 2 mg of prucalopride (equivalent to 2.64 mg prucalopride succinate), and the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, anhydrous lactose, magnesium stearate, and microcrystalline cellulose. The coating for the 2-mg tablet contains hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, polyethylene glycol 3000, titanium dioxide, triacetin, red iron oxide, yellow iron oxide, and FD&C Blue #2."

Naproxen is a propionic acid derivative related to the arylacetic acid group of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. The chemical name for naproxen is (S)-6-methoxy-α-methyl-2-naphthaleneacetic acid. Naproxen has a molecular weight of 230.26 and a molecular formula of C 14H 14O 3. It has the following structural formula:. Naproxen is white or almost white crystalline powder. It is insoluble in water, soluble in chloroform, dehydrated ethanol and methanol. Sparingly soluble in ether. The octanol/water partition coefficient of Naproxen at pH < 2.18 is 3.18. Each naproxen tablet, USP contains the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, yellow iron oxide, povidone and magnesium stearate."
