"IndicationAndUsage": "MYOBLOC is an acetylcholine release inhibitor indicated for: 1 Treatment of cervical dystonia to reduce the severity of abnormal head position and neck pain associated with cervical dystonia in adults ( 1.1) , 2 Treatment of chronic sialorrhea in adults ( 1.2) .",
"Description": "RimabotulinumtoxinB is an acetylcholine release inhibitor. RimabotulinumtoxinB is a 700 kDA botulinum toxin type B complex produced from fermentation of the bacterium Clostridium botulinum type B (Bean strain) and exists in noncovalent association with hemagglutinin and nonhemagglutinin proteins as a neurotoxin complex. The neurotoxin complex is recovered from the fermentation process and purified through a series of precipitation and chromatography steps. MYOBLOC (rimabotulinumtoxinB) injection is a sterile, preservative-free, clear and colorless to light-yellow solution in a single-dose vial for intramuscular or intraglandular use. Each vial contains 2,500 Units/0.5 mL; 5,000 units/mL; or 10,000 Units/2 mL of rimabotulinumtoxinB at a concentration of 5,000 Units/mL at approximately pH 5.6. Each 2,500 Units/0.5 mL vial of MYOBLOC contains 2,500 Units rimabotulinumtoxinB, 0.235 mg albumin human, 2.9 mg sodium chloride and 1.35 mg sodium succinate. Each 5,000 Units/mL vial of MYOBLOC contains 5,000 Units rimabotulinumtoxinB, 0.47 mg albumin human, 5.8 mg sodium chloride and 2.7 mg sodium succinate. Each 10,000 Units/2 mL vial of MYOBLOC contains 10,000 Units rimabotulinumtoxinB, 0.94 mg albumin human, 11.6 mg sodium chloride and 5.4 mg sodium succinate. One unit of MYOBLOC corresponds to the calculated median lethal intraperitoneal dose (LD50) in mice. The method for performing the assay is specific to Solstice Neurosciences' manufacture of MYOBLOC. Due to differences in specific details such as the vehicle, dilution scheme and laboratory protocols for various mouse LD50 assays, Units of biological activity of MYOBLOC cannot be compared to or converted into Units of any other botulinum toxin or any toxin assessed with any other specific assay method. Therefore, differences in species sensitivities to different botulinum neurotoxin serotypes preclude extrapolation of animal dose-activity relationships to human dose estimates. The specific activity of MYOBLOC ranges between 70 to 130 Units/ng."

"IndicationAndUsage": "LODOSYN is indicated for use with carbidopa-levodopa or with levodopa in the treatment of the symptoms of idiopathic Parkinson’s disease (paralysis agitans), postencephalitic parkinsonism, and symptomatic parkinsonism, which may follow injury to the nervous system by carbon monoxide intoxication and/or manganese intoxication. LODOSYN is for use with carbidopa-levodopa in patients for whom the dosage of carbidopa-levodopa provides less than adequate daily dosage (usually 70 mg daily) of carbidopa. LODOSYN is for use with levodopa in the occasional patient whose dosage requirement of carbidopa and levodopa necessitates separate titration of each medication. LODOSYN is used with carbidopa-levodopa or with levodopa to permit the administration of lower doses of levodopa with reduced nausea and vomiting, more rapid dosage titration, and with a somewhat smoother response. However, patients with markedly irregular (“on-off”) responses to levodopa have not been shown to benefit from the addition of carbidopa. Since carbidopa prevents the reversal of levodopa effects caused by pyridoxine, supplemental pyridoxine (vitamin B6), can be given to patients when they are receiving carbidopa and levodopa concomitantly or as carbidopa-levodopa. Although the administration of LODOSYN permits control of parkinsonism and Parkinson’s disease with much lower doses of levodopa, there is no conclusive evidence at present that this is beneficial other than in reducing nausea and vomiting, permitting more rapid titration, and providing a somewhat smoother response to levodopa. Certain patients who responded poorly to levodopa alone have improved when carbidopa and levodopa were given concurrently. This was most likely due to decreased peripheral decarboxylation of levodopa rather than to a primary effect of carbidopa on the peripheral nervous system. Carbidopa has not been shown to enhance the intrinsic efficacy of levodopa. In deciding whether to give LODOSYN with carbidopa-levodopa or with levodopa to patients who have nausea and/or vomiting, the physician should be aware that, while many patients may be expected to improve, some may not. Since one cannot predict which patients are likely to improve, this can only be determined by a trial of therapy. It should be further noted that in controlled trials comparing carbidopa and levodopa with levodopa alone, about half the patients with nausea and/or vomiting on levodopa alone improved spontaneously despite being retained on the same dose of levodopa during the controlled portion of the trial.",

"IndicationAndUsage": "Clomipramine hydrochloride capsules, USP are indicated for the treatment of obsessions and compulsions in patients with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). The obsessions or compulsions must cause marked distress, be time-consuming, or significantly interfere with social or occupational functioning, in order to meet the DSM-III-R (circa 1989) diagnosis of OCD. Obsessions are recurrent, persistent ideas, thoughts, images, or impulses that are egodystonic. Compulsions are repetitive, purposeful, and intentional behaviors performed in response to an obsession or in a stereotyped fashion, and are recognized by the person as excessive or unreasonable. The effectiveness of clomipramine for the treatment of OCD was demonstrated in multicenter, placebo-controlled, parallel-group studies, including two 10-week studies in adults and one 8-week study in children and adolescents 10 to 17 years of age. Patients in all studies had moderate-to-severe OCD (DSM-III), with mean baseline ratings on the Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale (YBOCS) ranging from 26 to 28 and a mean baseline rating of 10 on the NIMH Clinical Global Obsessive Compulsive Scale (NIMH-OC). Patients taking CMI experienced a mean reduction of approximately 10 on the YBOCS, representing an average improvement on this scale of 35% to 42% among adults and 37% among children and adolescents. CMI-treated patients experienced a 3.5 unit decrement on the NIMH-OC. Patients on placebo showed no important clinical response on either scale. The maximum dose was 250 mg/day for most adults and 3 mg/kg/day (up to 200 mg) for all children and adolescents. The effectiveness of clomipramine for long-term use (i.e., for more than 10 weeks) has not been systematically evaluated in placebo-controlled trials. The physician who elects to use clomipramine for extended periods should periodically reevaluate the long-term usefulness of the drug for the individual patient (see DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION).",

<IndicationAndUsage>MYOBLOC is an acetylcholine release inhibitor indicated for: 1 Treatment of cervical dystonia to reduce the severity of abnormal head position and neck pain associated with cervical dystonia in adults ( 1.1) , 2 Treatment of chronic sialorrhea in adults ( 1.2) .</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>RimabotulinumtoxinB is an acetylcholine release inhibitor. The specific activity of MYOBLOC ranges between 70 to 130 Units/ng.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>LODOSYN is indicated for use with carbidopa-levodopa or with levodopa in the treatment of the symptoms of idiopathic Parkinson’s disease (paralysis agitans), postencephalitic parkinsonism, and symptomatic parkinsonism, which may follow injury to the nervous system by carbon monoxide intoxication and/or manganese intoxication. It should be further noted that in controlled trials comparing carbidopa and levodopa with levodopa alone, about half the patients with nausea and/or vomiting on levodopa alone improved spontaneously despite being retained on the same dose of levodopa during the controlled portion of the trial.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Carbidopa, an inhibitor of aromatic amino acid decarboxylation, is a white, crystalline compound, slightly soluble in water, with a molecular weight of 244.3. <IndicationAndUsage>Clomipramine hydrochloride capsules, USP are indicated for the treatment of obsessions and compulsions in patients with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). The physician who elects to use clomipramine for extended periods should periodically reevaluate the long-term usefulness of the drug for the individual patient (see DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION).</IndicationAndUsage>

<Description>Temozolomide is an alkylating drug. The chemical name of temozolomide is 3,4-dihydro-3methyl-4-oxoimidazo[5,1-d]- as-tetrazine-8-carboxamide. The structural formula is:. The material is a white to light tan/light pink powder with a molecular formula of C 6H 6N 6O 2and a molecular weight of 194.15. The molecule is stable at acidic pH (< 5) and labile at pH > 7; hence Temozolomide can be administered orally. The prodrug, temozolomide, is rapidly hydrolyzed to the active 5-(3-methyltriazen-1-yl) imidazole-4-carboxamide (MTIC) at neutral and alkaline pH values, with hydrolysis taking place even faster at alkaline pH. Temozolomide capsules USP. Temozolomide capsules for oral use contains either 5 mg, 20 mg, 100 mg, 140 mg, 180 mg, or 250 mg of temozolomide.
