"IndicationAndUsage": "Valacyclovir tablet is a deoxynucleoside analogue DNA polymerase inhibitor indicated for: Adult Patients ( 1.1) Cold Sores (Herpes Labialis) Genital Herpes Treatment in immunocompetent patients (initial or recurrent episode) Suppression in immunocompetent or HIV-1-infected patients Reduction of transmission Herpes Zoster Pediatric Patients ( 1.2) Cold Sores (Herpes Labialis) Chickenpox Limitations of Use ( 1.3) The efficacy and safety of valacyclovir tablets have not been established in immunocompromised patients other than for the suppression of genital herpes in HIV-1-infected patients.",
"Description": "Valacyclovir hydrochloride is the hydrochloride salt of the L-valyl ester of the antiviral drug acyclovir. Valacyclovir tablets, USP are for oral administration. Each tablet contains 556.0 mg or 1.112 grams of valacyclovir hydrochloride USP equivalent to 500 mg or 1 gm of valacyclovir, respectively, and the inactive ingredients crospovidone, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, povidone, and titanium dioxide. In addition to this 500 mg contains FD&C blue #2/ indigo carmine aluminum lake. The chemical name of valacyclovir hydrochloride is L-valine2-[(2-amino-1,6-dihydro-6-oxo-9 H-purin-9-yl)methoxy]ethyl ester hydrochloride monohydrate. It has the following structural formula:. Valacyclovir hydrochloride USP (monohydrate) is a white or almost white powder with the molecular formula C 13H 23N 6O 5Cl and a molecular weight of 378.81. Valacyclovir hydrochloride USP is freely soluble in water and practically insoluble in 1-octanol. The pka for valacyclovir hydrochloride is 5.95. FDA approved dissolution test specifications differ from USP."

"Description": "Pramipexole dihydrochloride tablets contain pramipexole, a nonergot dopamine agonist. The chemical name of pramipexole dihydrochloride is (S)-2-amino-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-6-(propylamino)benzothiazole dihydrochloride monohydrate. Its empirical formula is C10 H17 N3 S · 2HCl · H2O, and its molecular weight is 302.27. The structural formula is. Pramipexole dihydrochloride is a white to almost white crystalline powder. Melting occurs in the range of 296°C to 301°C, with decomposition. Pramipexole Dihydrochloride is freely soluble in water, soluble in methanol, sparingly soluble to slightly soluble in ethanol (96%) and practically insoluble in methylene chloride. Pramipexole dihydrochloride tablets, for oral administration, contain 0.125 mg, 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 0.75 mg, 1 mg, or 1.5 mg of pramipexole dihydrochloride. Inactive ingredients consist of mannitol, corn starch, colloidal silicon dioxide, povidone, and magnesium stearate."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Hypertension. Metoprolol tartrate tablets, USP are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. They may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents. Angina Pectoris. Metoprolol tartrate tablets, USP are indicated in the long-term treatment of angina pectoris. Myocardial Infarction. Metoprolol tartrate tablets, USP are indicated in the treatment of hemodynamically stable patients with definite or suspected acute myocardial infarction to reduce cardiovascular mortality when used alone or in conjunction with intravenous metoprolol. Oral metoprolol tartrate tablets, USP therapy can be initiated after intravenous metoprolol therapy or, alternatively, oral treatment can begin within 3 to 10 days of the acute event (see DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION, CONTRAINDICATIONS, and WARNINGS).",
"Description": "Metoprolol tartrate USP is a selective beta1-adrenoreceptor blocking agent, available as 25, 50 and 100 mg tablets for oral administration. Metoprolol tartrate is (±)-1-(isopropylamino)-3-[p-(2-methoxyethyl)phenoxy]-2-propanol (2:1) dextro-tartrate salt. Its structural formula is. [metoprolol-structure]. Metoprolol tartrate USP is a white, practically odorless, crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 684.82. It is very soluble in water; freely soluble in methylene chloride, in chloroform, and in alcohol; slightly soluble in acetone; and insoluble in ether. Each tablet for oral administration contains 25 mg, 50 mg or 100 mg of metoprolol tartrate. The tablets contain the following inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, sodium starch glycollate, colloidal silicon dioxide, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol and polysorbate 80. In addition, 50 mg tablet contains D&C Red #30 Aluminium Lake and 100 mg tablet contains FD&C Blue #2 Aluminium Lake as coloring agents."

Acetaminophen (4'-hydroxyacetanilide), a slightly bitter, white, odorless, crystalline powder, is a non-opiate, non-salicylate analgesic and antipyretic. It has the following structural formula. Caffeine (1,3,7-trimethylxanthine), a bitter, white crystalline powder or white glistening needles, is a central nervous system stimulant. It has the following structural formula. Dihydrocodeine Bitartrate (4,5 _-epoxy-3-methoxy-17-methylmorphinan-6 _-ol (+)-tartrate), an odorless, fine white powder is an opioid analgesic. It has the following structural formula:In addition, each capsule contains the following inactive ingredients: crospovidone, magnesium stearate, povidone, pregelatinized starch, stearic acid. The capsule is composed of FD&C Red #40, and gelatin. Imprinting ink is composed of ammonium hydroxide, isopropyl alcohol, n-butyl alcohol, pharmaceutical glaze (modified) in SD-45, propylene glycol, simethicone, and titanium dioxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Droxidopa capsules is indicated for the treatment of orthostatic dizziness, lightheadedness, or the “feeling that you are about to black out” in adult patients with symptomatic neurogenic orthostatic hypotension (nOH) caused by primary autonomic failure (Parkinson's disease [PD], multiple system atrophy, and pure autonomic failure), dopamine beta-hydroxylase deficiency, and non-diabetic autonomic neuropathy. Effectiveness beyond 2 weeks of treatment has not been established. The continued effectiveness of droxidopa capsules should be assessed periodically.",
"Description": "Droxidopa capsules contain droxidopa, which is a synthetic amino acid precursor of norepinephrine, for oral administration. Chemically, droxidopa is (–)-threo-3-(3,4-Dihydroxyphenyl)-L-serine. It has the following structural formula. Droxidopa is an odorless, tasteless, white to light brown color powder. It is slightly soluble in water, and practically insoluble in methanol, glacial acetic acid, ethanol, acetone, ether, and chloroform. It is soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid. It has a molecular weight of 213.19 and a molecular formula of C9H11NO5.Droxidopa capsules also contain the following inactive ingredients: mannitol, pregelatinised starch (corn starch), and magnesium stearate. The capsule shell is printed with black ink. The black inks contain shellac, propylene glycol, black iron oxide, potassium hydroxide. The capsule shell contains the following inactive ingredients: 100 mg – gelatin, titanium dioxide, FD&C Blue No. 2, black and red iron oxide; 200 mg – gelatin, titanium dioxide, FD&C Blue No. 2, black and yellow iron oxide; 300 mg – gelatin, titanium dioxide, FD&C Blue No. 2, yellow iron oxide. Droxidopa capsules differ in size and color by strength [see Dosage Forms and Strengths (3)]."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Diltiazem Hydrochloride Extended-Release Tablets is a nondihydropyridine calcium channel blocker indicated for: 1 treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions. It can be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensives. (1.1), 2 improving exercise tolerance in patients with chronic stable angina. (1.2).",
"Description": "Diltiazem hydrochloride is a nondihydropyridine calcium channel blocker (slow channel blocker or calcium antagonist). Chemically, diltiazem hydrochloride is 1,5-benzothiazepin-4(5H)-one, 3-(acetyloxy)-5-[2-(dimethylamino)ethyl]-2, 3-dihydro-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-, monohydrochloride, (+)-cis-. The structural formula is. Diltiazem hydrochloride is a white to off-white crystalline powder with a bitter taste. It is soluble in water, methanol and chloroform. It has a molecular weight of 450.98. Diltiazem Hydrochloride Extended-Release Tablets are formulated as a once-a-day extended-release tablet for oral administration containing 120 mg, 180 mg, 240 mg, 300 mg, 360 mg or 420 mg of diltiazem hydrochloride. Tablets also contain: carnauba wax, colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, ethyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate copolymer dispersion, hydrogenated vegetable oil, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, paraffin wax, polydextrose, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate, povidone, pregelatinized starch, simethicone, sodium starch glycolate, sucrose stearate, talc, and titanium dioxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Bisoprolol fumarate and hydrochlorothiazide tablets are indicated in the management of hypertension.",
"Description": "Bisoprolol fumarate and hydrochlorothiazide tablets USP are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. It combines two antihypertensive agents in a once–daily dosage: a synthetic beta 1-selective (cardioselective) adrenoceptor blocking agent (bisoprolol fumarate) and a benzothiadiazine diuretic (hydrochlorothiazide). Bisoprolol fumarate is chemically described as (±)-1-[4-[[-2-(1-methylethoxy)ethoxy]methyl] phenoxy]-3-[(1-methylethyl)amino]-2-propanol( E)-2-butenedioate(2:1)(salt). It possesses an asymmetric carbon atom in its structure and is provided as a racemic mixture. The S(-) enantiomer is responsible for most of the beta-blocking activity. Its molecular formula is (C 18H 31NO 4) 2C 4H 4O 4 and it has a molecular weight of 766.97. Its structural formula is:. Bisoprolol fumarate is a white crystalline powder, approximately equally hydrophilic and lipophilic, and readily soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, and chloroform. Hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ) is 6-Chloro-3,4-dihydro- 2H-1,2,4-benzothiadiazine-7-sulfonamide 1,1-dioxide. It is a white, or practically white, practically odorless crystalline powder. It is slightly soluble in water, sparingly soluble in dilute sodium hydroxide solution, freely soluble in n-butylamine and dimethylformamide, sparingly soluble in methanol, and insoluble in ether, chloroform, and dilute mineral acids. Its molecular formula is C 7H 8ClN 3O 4S 2 and it has a molecular weight of 297.73. Its structural formula is:. Each Bisoprolol Fumarate and Hydrochlorothiazide tablet USP 2.5 mg/6.25 mg for oral administration contains. Bisoprolol fumarate USP….. 2.5 mg. Hydrochlorothiazide USP…. 6.25 mg. "IndicationAndUsage": "Anastrozole tablets are an aromatase inhibitor indicated for: 1 Adjuvant treatment of postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive early breast cancer ( 1.1) , 2 First-line treatment of postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive or hormone receptor unknown locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer ( 1.2) , 3 Treatment of advanced breast cancer in postmenopausal women with disease progression following tamoxifen therapy. Patients with ER-negative disease and patients who did not respond to previous tamoxifen therapy rarely responded to anastrozole tablets ( 1.3) .",
"Description": "Anastrozole Tablets, USP for oral administration contain 1 mg of anastrozole, a non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor. It is chemically described as 1,3-Benzenediacetonitrile, a, a, a', a'-tetramethyl-5-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl). Its molecular formula is C 17H 19N 5 and its structural formula is:. Anastrozole is an off-white powder with a molecular weight of 293.4. Anastrozole has moderate aqueous solubility (0.5 mg/mL at 25°C); solubility is independent of pH in the physiological range. Anastrozole is freely soluble in methanol, acetone, ethanol, and tetrahydrofuran, and very soluble in acetonitrile. Each tablet contains as inactive ingredients: hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol, povidone, sodium starch glycolate and titanium dioxide."

"Description": "Amlodipine besylate, USP is the besylate salt of amlodipine, a long-acting calcium channel blocker. Amlodipine besylate, USP is chemically described as 3-Ethyl-5-methyl (±)-2-[(2-aminoethoxy)methyl]-4-(2-chlorophenyl)-1,4-dihydro-6-methyl-3,5-pyridinedicarboxylate, monobenzenesulphonate. Its structural formula is. C 20H 25ClN 2O 5C 6H 6O 3S M.W. 567.1. Amlodipine besylate, USP is a white crystalline powder. It is slightly soluble in water and sparingly soluble in ethanol. Amlodipine besylate tablets USP are formulated as white to off-white tablets equivalent to 2.5 mg, 5 mg, and 10 mg of amlodipine for oral administration. In addition to the active ingredient, amlodipine besylate, USP, each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: calcium phosphate dibasic anhydrous, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and sodium starch glycolate."

"Description": "Lisdexamfetamine dimesylate, a CNS stimulant, is for once-a-day oral administration. The chemical designation for lisdexamfetamine dimesylate is (2S)-2,6-diamino- N-[(1 S)-1-methyl-2-phenylethyl] hexanamide dimethanesulfonate. The molecular formula is C 15H 25N 3O(CH 4O 3S) 2, which corresponds to a molecular weight of 455.60. The chemical structure is:. "Description": "Fenofibrate tablets, USP are lipid regulating agent available as tablets for oral administration. Each tablet contains 48 mg or 145 mg of fenofibrate USP. The chemical name for fenofibrate USP is Isopropyl-2-[p-(p-chlorobenzoyl) phenoxy]-2-methylpropanoate with the following structural formula. The empirical formula is C20H21ClO4 and the molecular weight is 360.83; fenofibrate USP is very soluble in methylene chloride, slightly soluble in alcohol and practically insoluble in water. The melting point is 79 to 82°C. Fenofibrate USP is a white or almost white crystalline powder which is stable under ordinary conditions. Inactive Ingredients Each tablet contains croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium lauryl sulphate and sucrose. The 48 mg tablets are coated with Opadry Yellow, which contains D&C Yellow # 10 aluminum lake, FD&C Blue # 2 / indigo caramine aluminum lake, FD&C Yellow # 6 / sunset yellow FCF aluminum lake, lecithin, polyvinyl alcohol, talc, titanium dioxide and xanthum gum.
