Tinea pedis. Tinea cruris. Tinea barbae. Tinea capitis. Tinea unguium when caused by one or more of the following species of fungi:. Epidermophyton floccosum. Microsporum audouinii. Microsporum canis. Microsporum gypseum. Trichophyton crateriform. Trichophyton gallinae. Trichophyton interdigitalis. Trichophyton megnini. Trichophyton mentagrophytes. Trichophyton rubrum. Trichophyton schoenleini. Trichophyton sulphureum. Trichophyton tonsurans. Trichophyton verrucosum. Note: Prior to therapy, a dermatophyte should be identified as responsible for the infection. Prior to initiating treatment, appropriate specimens for laboratory testing (KOH preparation, fungal culture, or nail biopsy) should be obtained to confirm the diagnosis. Griseofulvin is not effective in the following:. Bacterial infections. Candidiasis (Moniliasis). Histoplasmosis. Actinomycosis. Sporotrichosis. Chromoblastomycosis. Coccidioidomycosis. North American Blastomycosis. Cryptococcosis (Torulosis). Tinea versicolor. Nocardiosis. The use of this drug is not justified in minor or trivial dermatophyte infections which will respond to topical agents alone.",

"Description": "Ambrisentan is an endothelin receptor antagonist that is selective for the endothelin type-A (ET A) receptor. The chemical name of ambrisentan is (+)-(2 S)-2-[(4,6-dimethylpyrimidin-2-yl)oxy]-3-methoxy-3,3-diphenylpropanoic acid. It has a molecular formula of C 22H 22N 2O 4 and a molecular weight of 378.42. It contains a single chiral center determined to be the ( S) configuration and has the following structural formula:. Figure 1 Ambrisentan Structural Formula. Ambrisentan is a white to off-white, crystalline solid. It is a carboxylic acid with a pKa of 4.0. Ambrisentan is practically insoluble in water and in aqueous solutions at low pH. Solubility increases in aqueous solutions at higher pH. In the solid state ambrisentan is very stable, is not hygroscopic, and is not light sensitive. Ambrisentan tablets are available as 5 mg and 10 mg film-coated tablets for once daily oral administration. The tablets include the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate and microcrystalline cellulose. The tablets are film-coated with a coating material containing FD&C Red #40 aluminum lake, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, talc, and titanium dioxide. Ambrisentan tablets, 5 mg tablets also contain FD&C Blue #2. Each square shaped, light pink ambrisentan tablet contains 5 mg of ambrisentan. Each oval shaped, dark pink ambrisentan tablet contains 10 mg of ambrisentan. Ambrisentan tablets are unscored."

Tinea cruris. Tinea barbae. Tinea capitis. Tinea unguium when caused by one or more of the following species of fungi:. Epidermophyton floccosum. Microsporum audouinii. Microsporum canis. Microsporum gypseum. Trichophyton crateriform. Trichophyton gallinae. Trichophyton interdigitalis. Trichophyton megnini. Trichophyton mentagrophytes. Trichophyton rubrum. Trichophyton schoenleini. Trichophyton sulphureum. Trichophyton tonsurans. Trichophyton verrucosum. Note: Prior to therapy, a dermatophyte should be identified as responsible for the infection. Prior to initiating treatment, appropriate specimens for laboratory testing (KOH preparation, fungal culture, or nail biopsy) should be obtained to confirm the diagnosis. Griseofulvin is not effective in the following:. Bacterial infections. Candidiasis (Moniliasis). Histoplasmosis. Actinomycosis. Sporotrichosis. Chromoblastomycosis. Coccidioidomycosis. North American Blastomycosis. Cryptococcosis (Torulosis). Tinea versicolor. Nocardiosis. The use of this drug is not justified in minor or trivial dermatophyte infections which will respond to topical agents alone.</IndicationAndUsage>

<IndicationAndUsage>Adefovir Dipivoxil Tablets are indicated for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B in patients 12 years of age and older with evidence of active viral replication and either evidence of persistent elevations in serum aminotransferases (ALT or AST) or histologically active disease. This indication is based on histological, virological, biochemical, and serological responses in adult patients with HBeAg+ and HBeAg- chronic hepatitis B with compensated liver function, and with clinical evidence of lamivudine-resistant hepatitis B virus with either compensated or decompensated liver function. For patients 12 to less than 18 years of age, the indication is based on virological and biochemical responses in patients with HBeAg+ chronic hepatitis B virus infection with compensated liver function.</IndicationAndUsage>

<IndicationAndUsage>Flucytosine Capsules, USP are indicated only in the treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible strains of Candida and/or Cryptococcus. Candida: Septicemia, endocarditis and urinary system infections have been effectively treated with flucytosine. Limited trials in pulmonary infections justify the use of flucytosine. Cryptococcus: Meningitis and pulmonary infections have been treated effectively. Studies in septicemias and urinary tract infections are limited, but good responses have been reported. Flucytosine Capsules, USP should be used in combination with amphotericin B for the treatment of systemic candidiasis and cryptococcosis because of the emergence of resistance to Flucytosine Capsules, USP (see MICROBIOLOGY).</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Flucytosine Capsules, USP are an antifungal agent available as 250 mg and 500 mg capsules for oral administration. In addition to the active ingredient of flucytosine, each capsule contains corn starch, lactose monohydrate and talc. The 250 mg capsule shell contains FD&C Yellow No. 6, FD&C Green No. 3, D&C Yellow No. 10, titanium dioxide, sodium lauryl sulfate and gelatin. The 500 mg capsule shell contains iron oxide yellow, iron oxide black, titanium dioxide, carboxymethylcellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate and gelatin. The imprinting ink used for 250 mg and 500 mg capsules contains black iron oxide. Chemically, flucytosine is 5-fluorocytosine, a fluorinated pyrimidine which is related to fluorouracil and floxuridine. It is a white to off-white crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 129.09 and the following structural formula.</Description>
