"IndicationAndUsage": "CARDENE I.V. is a calcium channel blocker indicated for the short-term treatment of hypertension in adults when oral therapy is not feasible. (1.1).",
"Description": "CARDENE I.V. (nicardipine hydrochloride) is a calcium ion influx inhibitor (slow channel blocker or calcium channel blocker). CARDENE I.V. for intravenous administration contains 20 mg (0.1 mg/mL) of nicardipine hydrochloride per 200 mL in either dextrose or sodium chloride or 40 mg (0.2 mg/mL) of nicardipine hydrochloride per 200 mL in sodium chloride. Nicardipine hydrochloride is a dihydropyridine derivative with IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) chemical name (±)-2-(benzyl-methyl amino) ethyl methyl 1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-4-(m-nitrophenyl)-3,5-pyridinedicarboxylate monohydrochloride and has the following structure. Nicardipine hydrochloride is a greenish-yellow, odorless, crystalline powder that melts at about 169ºC. It is freely soluble in chloroform, methanol, and glacial acetic acid, sparingly soluble in anhydrous ethanol, slightly soluble in n-butanol, water, 0.01 M potassium dihydrogen phosphate, acetone, and dioxane, very slightly soluble in ethyl acetate, and practically insoluble in benzene, ether, and hexane. It has a molecular weight of 515.99. CARDENE I.V. is available as a ready-to-use sterile, non-pyrogenic, clear, colorless to yellow, iso-osmotic solution for intravenous administration in a 200 mL GALAXY container with 20 mg (0.1 mg/mL) or 40 mg (0.2 mg/mL) nicardipine hydrochloride in either dextrose or sodium chloride. Nicardipine Hydrochloride in 4.8% Dextrose Injection. 20 mg in 200 mL (0.1 mg/mL). Each mL contains 0.1 mg nicardipine hydrochloride, 48 mg dextrose hydrous, USP, 0.0192 mg citric acid, anhydrous, USP, and 1.92 mg sorbitol, NF. Hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide may have been added to adjust pH to 3.7 to 4.7. Nicardipine Hydrochloride in 0.86% Sodium Chloride Injection. 20 mg in 200 mL (0.1 mg/mL). Each mL contains 0.1 mg nicardipine hydrochloride, 8.6 mg sodium chloride, USP, 0.0192 mg citric acid, anhydrous, USP, and 1.92 mg sorbitol, NF. Hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide may have been added to adjust pH to 3.7 to 4.7. Nicardipine Hydrochloride in 0.83% Sodium Chloride Injection. 40 mg in 200 mL (0.2 mg/mL). Each mL contains 0.2 mg nicardipine hydrochloride, 8.3 mg sodium chloride, USP, 0.0384 mg citric acid, anhydrous, USP, and 3.84 mg sorbitol, NF. Hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide may have been added to adjust pH to 3.7 to 4.7. The GALAXY container is fabricated from multilayered plastic. Solutions are in contact with the polyethylene layer of the container and can leach out certain chemical components of the plastic in very small amounts within the expiration period. The suitability and safety of the plastic have been confirmed in tests in animals according to the USP biological tests for plastic containers, as well as by tissue culture toxicity studies."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Rocuronium bromide Injection is indicated for inpatients and outpatients as an adjunct to general anesthesia to facilitate both rapid sequence and routine tracheal intubation, and to provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation.",
"Description": "Rocuronium bromide injection is a nondepolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent with a rapid to intermediate onset depending on dose and intermediate duration. Rocuronium bromide is chemically designated as 1-[17β-(acetyloxy)-3α-hydroxy-2β-(4-morpholinyl)-5α-androstan-16β-yl]-1-(2-propenyl)pyrrolidinium bromide. The structural formula is. The chemical formula is C32H53BrN2O4 with a molecular weight of 609.70. The partition coefficient of rocuronium bromide in n-octanol/water is 0.5 at 20°C. Rocuronium bromide is supplied as a sterile, nonpyrogenic, isotonic solution that is clear, colorless to yellow/orange, for intravenous injection only. Each mL contains 10 mg rocuronium bromide and 2 mg sodium acetate. The aqueous solution is adjusted to isotonicity with sodium chloride and to a pH of 4 with acetic acid and/or sodium hydroxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Oxaliplatin injection, in combination with infusional fluorouracil and leucovorin, is indicated for: 1 adjuvant treatment of stage III colon cancer in patients who have undergone complete resection of the primary tumor. , 2 treatment of advanced colorectal cancer.",
"Description": "Oxaliplatin is a platinum-based drug with the molecular formula C8H14N2O4Pt and the chemical name of cis-[(1R,2R)-1,2-cyclohexanediamine-N,N'] [oxalato(2-)- O,O'] platinum. Oxaliplatin is an organoplatinum complex in which the platinum atom is complexed with 1,2-diaminocyclohexane(DACH) and with an oxalate ligand as a leaving group. The molecular weight is 397.3. Oxaliplatin is slightly soluble in water at 6 mg/mL, very slightly soluble in methanol, and practically insoluble in ethanol and acetone. Oxaliplatin injection, USP for intravenous use is supplied in vials containing 50 mg or 100 mg of oxaliplatin as a sterile, clear, colorless, preservative-free, aqueous solution at a concentration of 5 mg/mL. Water for Injection, USP is present as an inactive ingredient."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Ropivacaine Hydrochloride is indicated for the production of local or regional anesthesia for surgery and for acute pain management. : 1 Surgical Anesthesia: epidural block for surgery including cesarean section; major nerve block; local infiltration, 2 Acute Pain Management: epidural continuous infusion or intermittent bolus, e.g., postoperative or labor; local infiltration.",
"Description": "Ropivacaine Hydrochloride Injection, USP is a sterile, isotonic solution that contains ropivacaine hydrochloride as the active pharmaceutical ingredient. Ropivacaine hydrochloride is a member of the amino amide class of local anesthetics. Ropivacaine Hydrochloride Injection, USP is administered parenterally by for infiltration, epidural, and nerve block. Ropivacaine hydrochloride is chemically described as S-(-)-1-propyl-2',6'-pipecoloxylidide hydrochloride. The drug substance is a white crystalline powder, with the following structural formula. C17H26N2OHCl M.W. 310.87. At 25 °C ropivacaine hydrochloride has a solubility of 53.8 mg/mL in water, a distribution ratio between n-octanol and phosphate buffer at pH 7.4 of 14:1 and a pKa of 8.07 in 0.1 M KCl solution. The pKa of ropivacaine is approximately the same as bupivacaine (8.1) and is similar to that of mepivacaine (7.7). However, ropivacaine has an intermediate degree of lipid solubility compared to bupivacaine and mepivacaine. Ropivacaine Hydrochloride Injection, USP is a clear, colorless, and preservative-free solution. Each mL contains 2.0 mg, 5.0 mg, 10 mg of Ropivacaine Hydrochloride (equivalent to 2.1 mg, 5.3 mg, 10.6 mg Ropivacaine Hydrochloride monohydrate), and 8.6 mg, 8.0 mg or 7.1 mg of sodium chloride; respectively, and sodium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid as pH adjusters, in water for injection. The pH is adjusted between 4.0 to 6.0. The specific gravity of Ropivacaine Hydrochloride Injection, USP solutions range from 1.002 to 1.005 at 25°C."

Ropivacaine hydrochloride is a member of the amino amide class of local anesthetics. Ropivacaine Hydrochloride Injection, USP is administered parenterally by for infiltration, epidural, and nerve block. Ropivacaine hydrochloride is chemically described as S-(-)-1-propyl-2',6'-pipecoloxylidide hydrochloride. The drug substance is a white crystalline powder, with the following structural formula. C17H26N2OHCl M.W. 310.87. At 25 °C ropivacaine hydrochloride has a solubility of 53.8 mg/mL in water, a distribution ratio between n-octanol and phosphate buffer at pH 7.4 of 14:1 and a pKa of 8.07 in 0.1 M KCl solution. The pKa of ropivacaine is approximately the same as bupivacaine (8.1) and is similar to that of mepivacaine (7.7). However, ropivacaine has an intermediate degree of lipid solubility compared to bupivacaine and mepivacaine. Ropivacaine Hydrochloride Injection, USP is a clear, colorless, and preservative-free solution. Each mL contains 0.2 mg nicardipine hydrochloride, 8.3 mg sodium chloride, USP, 0.0384 mg citric acid, anhydrous, USP, and 3.84 mg sorbitol, NF. Hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide may have been added to adjust pH to 3.7 to 4.7. The GALAXY container is fabricated from multilayered plastic. Solutions are in contact with the polyethylene layer of the container and can leach out certain chemical components of the plastic in very small amounts within the expiration period. The suitability and safety of the plastic have been confirmed in tests in animals according to the USP biological tests for plastic containers, as well as by tissue culture toxicity studies."

"IndicationAndUsage": "CARDENE I.V. is a calcium channel blocker indicated for the short-term treatment of hypertension when oral therapy is not feasible. (1.1).",
"Description": "CARDENE I.V. (nicardipine hydrochloride) is a calcium ion influx inhibitor (slow channel blocker or calcium channel blocker). CARDENE I.V. for intravenous administration contains 20 mg (0.1 mg/mL) of nicardipine hydrochloride per 200 mL in either dextrose or sodium chloride or 40 mg (0.2 mg/mL) of nicardipine hydrochloride per 200 mL in sodium chloride. Nicardipine hydrochloride is a dihydropyridine derivative with IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) chemical name (±)-2-(benzyl-methyl amino) ethyl methyl 1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-4-(m-nitrophenyl)-3,5-pyridinedicarboxylate monohydrochloride and has the following structure. Nicardipine hydrochloride is a greenish-yellow, odorless, crystalline powder that melts at about 169ºC. It is freely soluble in chloroform, methanol, and glacial acetic acid, sparingly soluble in anhydrous ethanol, slightly soluble in n-butanol, water, 0.01 M potassium dihydrogen phosphate, acetone, and dioxane, very slightly soluble in ethyl acetate, and practically insoluble in benzene, ether, and hexane. It has a molecular weight of 515.99. CARDENE I.V. is available as sterile, non-pyrogenic, a clear, pale yellow to yellow color solution, and essentially free from visible particles, in 10 mL single-dose vial for intravenous infusion after dilution. Each mL contains 2.5 mg nicardipine hydrochloride, 1 mg ascorbic acid, 0.525 mg citric acid monohydrate, 0.09 mg sodium hydroxide and 48 mg sorbitol (neosorb PF). Citric acid monohydrate and/or sodium hydroxide may have been added to adjust pH to 3.0 to 4.2."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Foscarnet sodium injection is indicated for the treatment of CMV retinitis in patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Combination therapy with foscarnet sodium Injection and ganciclovir is indicated for patients who have relapsed after monotherapy with either drug. SAFETY AND EFFICACY OF FOSCARNET SODIUM INJECTION HAVE NOT BEEN ESTABLISHED FOR TREATMENT OF OTHER CMV INFECTIONS (e.g., PNEUMONITIS, GASTROENTERITIS); CONGENITAL OR NEONATAL CMV DISEASE; OR NONIMMUNOCOMPROMISED INDIVIDUALS.",
"Description": "The chemical name of foscarnet sodium is phosphonoformic acid, trisodium salt. Foscarnet sodium is a white, crystalline powder containing 6 equivalents of water of hydration with an empirical formula of Na3CO5P·6H2O and a molecular weight of 300.1. The structural formula is. Foscarnet sodium injection has the potential to chelate divalent metal ions, such as calcium and magnesium, to form stable coordination compounds. Foscarnet sodium injection is a sterile, isotonic aqueous solution for intravenous administration only. The solution is clear and colorless. Each milliliter of foscarnet sodium Injection contains 24 mg of foscarnet sodium hexahydrate in Water for Injection, USP. Hydrochloric acid may have been added to adjust the pH of the solution to 7.4. Foscarnet sodium injection contains no preservatives."

"Description": "Ketamine Hydrochloride Injection, USP, for intravenous or intramuscular use, contains ketamine, a nonbarbiturate general anesthetic. Ketamine hydrochloride, USP is a white crystalline powder and has a molecular formula of C13H16ClNOHCl and a molecular weight of 274.19 g/mol. The chemical name for ketamine hydrochloride is (±)-2-(o-Chlorophenyl)-2-(methylamino)cyclohexanone hydrochloride. The chemical structure of ketamine hydrochloride is. It is formulated as a slightly acidic (pH 3.5-5.5) sterile solution for intravenous or intramuscular injection. Each milliliter (mL) of the single-dose pre-filled syringe contain 10 mg ketamine base (equivalent to 11.53 mg ketamine hydrochloride) in water for injection. The 10 mg/mL solution has been made isotonic with 6.60 mg sodium chloride."

Anxiety or tension associated with the stress of everyday life usually does not require treatment with an anxiolytic. In acute alcohol withdrawal, diazepam may be useful in the symptomatic relief of acute agitation, tremor, impending or acute delirium tremens and hallucinosis. As an adjunct prior to endoscopic procedures if apprehension, anxiety or acute stress reactions are present, and to diminish the patient's recall of the procedures (See WARNINGS). Diazepam is a useful adjunct for the relief of skeletal muscle spasm due to reflex spasm to local pathology (such as inflammation of the muscles or joints, or secondary to trauma); spasticity caused by upper motor neuron disorders (such as cerebral palsy and paraplegia); athetosis; stiff-man syndrome; and tetanus. Diazepam injection is a useful adjunct in status epilepticus. Diazepam is a useful premedication (the intramuscular route is preferred) for relief of anxiety and tension in patients who are to undergo surgical procedures. Intravenously, prior to cardioversion for the relief of anxiety and tension and to diminish the patient's recall of the procedure.",

Succinylcholine chloride injection, USP contains succinylcholine chloride, USP as the active pharmaceutical ingredient. Succinylcholine Chloride, USP is chemically designated C14H30Cl2N2O4.2H2O and its molecular weight is 397.34 g/mol. The chemical name of succinylcholine chloride is ethanaminium, 2,2’-[(1,4-dioxo-1,4 butanediyl)bis(oxy)]bis[N,N,N-trimethyl-], dichloride. Succinylcholine chloride is a diquaternary base consisting of the dichloride salt of the dicholine ester of succinic acid. It is a white or almost white, crystalline powder, odorless, slightly bitter powder, freely soluble in water. It has the following structural formula. Succinylcholine chloride injection USP, 100 mg/5 mL (20 mg/mL) and 200 mg/10 mL (20 mg/mL) is intended for single-dose administration and contains no preservative. Each 1 mL of succinylcholine chloride injection USP, 100 mg/5 mL (20 mg/mL) and 200 mg/10 mL (20 mg/mL) single-dose prefilled syringe contains. 20 mg of succinylcholine chloride anhydrous, equivalent to 21.99 mg of succinylcholine chloride dihydrate, USP, 4.80 mg sodium chloride, USP to achieve isotonicity, sodium hydroxide, NF and hydrochloric acid, NF as pH adjusters in water for injection, USP. The pH of the solution is between 3.0 and 4.5, with an osmolarity of 0.270 to 0.330 mOsm/mL."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Phytonadione injectable emulsion is a vitamin K replacement indicated for the treatment of the following coagulation disorders which are due to faulty formation of factors II, VII, IX and X when caused by vitamin K deficiency or interference with vitamin K activity. : 1 Anticoagulant-induced hypoprothrombinemia deficiency caused by coumarin or indanedione derivatives; (1.1), 2 Hypoprothrombinemia due to antibacterial therapy; (1.1), 3 Hypoprothrombinemia secondary to factors limiting absorption or synthesis of vitamin K, e.g., obstructive jaundice, biliary fistula, sprue, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, intestinal resection, cystic fibrosis of the pancreas, and regional enteritis; (1.1), 4 Other drug-induced hypoprothrombinemia where is it definitely shown that the result is due to interference with vitamin K metabolism, e.g., salicylates. "Description": "Phytonadione, USP is a vitamin K replacement, which is a clear, yellow to amber, very viscous, odorless or practically odorless liquid. It is insoluble in water, soluble in dehydrated alcohol, in benzene, in chloroform, in ether and slightly soluble in alcohol. It has a molecular weight of 450.70. Phytonadione is 2-Methyl-3-(3,7,11,15-tetramethylhexadec-2-en-1-yl)naphthalene-1,4-dione; Phylloquinone. Its empirical formula is C31H46O2 and its molecular structure is. Phytonadione injectable emulsion, USP is a clear, yellow, sterile, aqueous colloidal solution of vitamin K1, with a pH of 5.0 to 7.0, available for injection by the intravenous, intramuscular, and subcutaneous routes. Phytonadione injectable emulsion, USP is available in 1 mg (2 mg/mL) single-dose vials. Each milliliter of phytonadione injectable emulsion, USP contains the following inactive ingredients: 70 mg polyoxyl 35 castor oil, 37.5 mg dextrose monohydrate, 9 mg benzyl alcohol (preservative), and water for injection. Phytonadione injectable emulsion, USP contains hydrochloric acid for pH adjustment to 6.7 (5.0 to 7.0)."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Naloxone hydrochloride injection is indicated for the complete or partial reversal of opioid depression, including respiratory depression, induced by natural and synthetic opioids, including propoxyphene, methadone and certain mixed agonist-antagonist analgesics: nalbuphine, pentazocine, butorphanol, and cyclazocine. Naloxone hydrochloride injection is also indicated for diagnosis of suspected or known acute opioid overdosage. Naloxone hydrochloride injection may be useful as an adjunctive agent to increase blood pressure in the management of septic shock (see CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY; Adjunctive Use in Septic Shock).",
"Description": "Naloxone hydrochloride injection, USP an opioid antagonist, is a synthetic congener of oxymorphone. In structure it differs from oxymorphone in that the methyl group on the nitrogen atom is replaced by an allyl group. Naloxone hydrochloride, USP occurs as a white to slightly off-white powder, and is freely soluble or soluble in water, soluble in dilute acids, and soluble in strong alkali; soluble or slightly soluble in alcohol; practically insoluble in ether and in chloroform. It has a molecular weight of 399.87. Naloxone hydrochloride injection, USP is available as a sterile, clear colorless solution for intravenous, intramuscular and subcutaneous administration. Each mL contains 1 mg naloxone hydrochloride; 8.35 mg sodium chloride. pH is adjusted between 3.0 to 4.0 with hydrochloric acid. The 1 mg/mL single-dose prefilled syringe is available in an unpreserved, paraben-free formulation."

"IndicationAndUsage": "NEXTERONE is indicated for initiation of treatment and prophylaxis of frequently recurring ventricular fibrillation (VF) and hemodynamically unstable ventricular tachycardia (VT) in patients refractory to other therapy.",
"Description": "NEXTERONE contains amiodarone HCl (C25H29I2NO3HCl), a class III antiarrhythmic drug. Amiodarone HCl is (2-butyl-3-benzo-furanyl)[4-[2-(diethylamino)ethoxy]-3,5-diiodophenyl]methanone hydrochloride. Amiodarone HCl has the following structural formula. Amiodarone HCl is a white to slightly yellow crystalline powder and is very slightly soluble in water. It has a molecular weight of 681.78 and contains 37.3% iodine by weight. NEXTERONE Premixed Injection is a sterile clear, colorless to slightly yellow solution visually free from particulates. NEXTERONE Premixed Injection is available as a ready-to-use, nonpyrogenic, iso-osmotic solution for intravenous administration in 100-mL GALAXY containers with 150 mg of amiodarone HCl, USP (1.5 mg/mL) in dextrose, and 200-mL GALAXY containers with 360 mg of amiodarone HCl, USP (1.8 mg/mL) in dextrose. NEXTERONE Premixed Injection (150 mg/100 mL, 1.5 mg/mL). Each mL contains 1.5 mg of amiodarone HCl, USP, 15 mg Betadex Sulfobutyl Ether Sodium, NF, 0.362 mg citric acid anhydrous, 0.183 mg sodium citrate dihydrate and 42.1 mg dextrose anhydrous in water for injection. Sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid may have been added to adjust pH. NEXTERONE Premixed Injection (360 mg/200 mL, 1.8 mg/mL). Each mL contains 1.8 mg of amiodarone HCl, USP, 18 mg Betadex Sulfobutyl Ether Sodium, NF, 0.362 mg citric acid anhydrous, 0.183 mg sodium citrate dihydrate and 41.4 mg dextrose anhydrous in water for injection. Sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid may have been added to adjust pH. NEXTERONE does not contain polysorbate 80 or benzyl alcohol. The GALAXY container is fabricated from a specially designed multilayered plastic. Solutions are in contact with the polyethylene layer of the container and can leach out certain chemical components of the plastic in very small amounts within the expiration period. The suitability and safety of the plastic have been confirmed in tests in animals according to the USP biological tests for plastic containers, as well as by tissue culture toxicity studies."

Ropivacaine hydrochloride is a member of the amino amide class of local anesthetics. Ropivacaine Hydrochloride Injection USP is administered parenterally by for infiltration, epidural, and nerve block. Ropivacaine hydrochloride is chemically described as S-(-)-1-propyl-2',6'-pipecoloxylidide hydrochloride monohydrate. The drug substance is a white crystalline powder, with the following structural formula. At 25°C ropivacaine hydrochloride has a solubility of 53.8 mg/mL in water, a distribution ratio between n-octanol and phosphate buffer at pH 7.4 of 14:1 and a pKa of 8.07 in 0.1 M KCl solution. The pKa of ropivacaine is approximately the same as bupivacaine (8.1) and is similar to that of mepivacaine (7.7). However, ropivacaine has an intermediate degree of lipid solubility compared to bupivacaine and mepivacaine. Ropivacaine Hydrochloride Injection USP is a clear, colorless, and preservative-free solution. Each mL contains 2 mg of ropivacaine hydrochloride anhydrous and 8.6 mg of sodium chloride and sodium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid as pH adjusters, in water for injection. "Description": "Ketamine Hydrochloride Injection, USP, for intravenous or intramuscular use, contains ketamine, a nonbarbiturate general anesthetic. Ketamine hydrochloride, USP is a white crystalline powder and has a molecular formula of C13H16ClNOHCl and a molecular weight of 274.19 g/mol. The chemical name for ketamine hydrochloride is (±)-2-(o-Chlorophenyl)-2-(methylamino)cyclohexanone hydrochloride. The chemical structure of ketamine hydrochloride is. It is formulated as a slightly acidic (pH 3.5-5.5) sterile solution for intravenous or intramuscular injection. Each milliliter (mL) of the single-dose pre-filled syringe contain 10 mg ketamine base (equivalent to 11.53 mg ketamine hydrochloride) in water for injection. The 10 mg/mL solution has been made isotonic with 6.60 mg sodium chloride."

"Description": "Norepinephrine (sometimes referred to as l-arterenol/Levarterenol or l-norepinephrine) is a sympathomimetic amine which differs from epinephrine by the absence of a methyl group on the nitrogen atom. Norepinephrine Bitartrate is (-)-α-(aminomethyl)-3,4-dihydroxybenzyl alcohol tartrate (1:1) (salt) monohydrate (molecular weight 337.3 g/mol) and has the following structural formula:. Norepinephrine Bitartrate Injection, USP is supplied in a sterile aqueous solution in the form of the bitartrate salt to be administered by intravenous infusion. Norepinephrine is sparingly soluble in water, very slightly soluble in alcohol and ether, and readily soluble in acids. Each mL contains 1 mg of norepinephrine base (equivalent to 1.89 mg of norepinephrine bitartrate, anhydrous basis), sodium chloride for isotonicity, not more than 0.2 mg (vials) of sodium metabisulfite as an antioxidant.
