The use of allergenic extracts for therapeutic purpose has been established by well-controlled clinical studies. Allergenic extracts may be used as adjunctive therapy along with pharmacotherapy which includes antihistamines, corticosteroids, and cromoglycate, and avoidance measures. Allergenic extracts for therapeutic use should be given using only the allergen selection to which the patient is allergic, has a history of exposure and are likely to be exposed to again.",

Glycerinated allergenic extracts are prepared with cocas fluid and glycerin to produce a 50% (v/v) allergenic extract. Allergenic Extracts are supplied as concentrations designated as protein nitrogen units (PNU) or weight/volume (w/v) ratio. Standardized extracts are designated in Bioequivalent Allergy Units (BAU) or Allergy Units (AU). (See product insert for standardized extracts). For diagnostic purposes, allergenic extracts are to be administered by prick-puncture or intradermal routes. Allergenic extracts are administered subcutaneously for immunotherapy injections."

"IndicationAndUsage": "HUMALOG is indicated to improve glycemic control in adult and pediatric patients with diabetes mellitus.",
"Description": "Insulin lispro is a rapid-acting human insulin analog produced by recombinant DNA technology utilizing a non-pathogenic laboratory strain of Escherichia coli. Insulin lispro differs from human insulin in that the amino acid proline at position B28 is replaced by lysine and the lysine in position B29 is replaced by proline. Chemically, it is Lys(B28), Pro(B29) human insulin analog and has the empirical formula C257H383N65O77S6 and a molecular weight of 5.808 kDa, both identical to that of human insulin. Insulin lispro has the following primary structure:. HUMALOG (insulin lispro) injection is a sterile, clear, and colorless solution for subcutaneous or intravenous use. Each mL of HUMALOG U-100 contains 100 units of insulin lispro, and the inactive ingredients: dibasic sodium phosphate (1.0 mg), glycerin (16 mg), metacresol (3.15 mg), trace amounts of phenol, zinc oxide (content adjusted to provide 0.0197 mg zinc ion), and Water for Injection, USP. Each mL of HUMALOG U-200 contains 200 units of insulin lispro, and the inactive ingredients: glycerin (16 mg), metacresol (3.15 mg), trace amounts of phenol, tromethamine (5 mg), zinc oxide (content adjusted to provide 0.046 mg zinc ion), and Water for Injection, USP. HUMALOG has a pH of 7.0 to 7.8. Hydrochloric acid 10% and/or sodium hydroxide 10% is added to adjust the pH."

"IndicationAndUsage": "AUVI-Q® is indicated in the emergency treatment of allergic reactions (Type I) including anaphylaxis to stinging insects (e.g., order Hymenoptera, which include bees, wasps, hornets, yellow jackets and fire ants) and biting insects (e.g., triatoma, mosquitoes), allergen immunotherapy, foods, drugs, diagnostic testing substances (e.g., radiocontrast media) and other allergens, as well as idiopathic anaphylaxis or exercise-induced anaphylaxis. AUVI-Q is intended for immediate administration in patients who are determined to be at increased risk for anaphylaxis, including individuals with a history of anaphylactic reactions. Anaphylactic reactions may occur within minutes after exposure and consist of flushing, apprehension, syncope, tachycardia, thready or unobtainable pulse associated with a fall in blood pressure, convulsions, vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal cramps, involuntary voiding, wheezing, dyspnea due to laryngeal spasm, pruritus, rashes, urticaria or angioedema. AUVI-Q is intended for immediate self-administration as emergency supportive therapy only and is not a substitute for immediate medical care.",
"Description": "AUVI-Q (epinephrine injection, USP) 0.3 mg, 0.15 mg and 0.1 mg is an autoinjector and a combination product containing drug and device components. AUVI-Q includes audible (electronic voice instructions, beeps) and visible (LED lights) cues for use. The needle automatically retracts after the injection is complete. Each AUVI-Q 0.3 mg delivers a single dose of 0.3 mg epinephrine from epinephrine injection, USP (0.3 mL) in a sterile solution. Each AUVI-Q 0.15 mg delivers a single dose of 0.15 mg epinephrine from epinephrine injection, USP (0.15 mL) in a sterile solution. Each AUVI-Q 0.1 mg delivers a single dose of 0.1 mg epinephrine from epinephrine injection, USP (0.1 mL) in a sterile solution . AUVI-Q 0.3 mg, AUVI-Q 0.15 mg and AUVI-Q 0.1 mg each contain 0.76 mL epinephrine solution. 0.3 mL, 0.15 mL and 0.1 mL epinephrine solution is dispensed for AUVI-Q 0.3 mg, AUVI-Q 0.15 mg and AUVI-Q 0.1 mg, respectively, when activated. The remaining solution is not available for future use and should be discarded. Each 0.3 mL in AUVI-Q 0.3 mg contains 0.3 mg epinephrine, 2.3 mg sodium chloride, 0.5 mg sodium bisulfite, hydrochloric acid to adjust pH, and water for injection. The pH range is 2.2–5.0. Each 0.15 mL in AUVI-Q 0.15 mg contains 0.15 mg epinephrine, 1.2 mg sodium chloride, 0.2 mg sodium bisulfite, hydrochloric acid to adjust pH, and water for injection. The pH range is 2.2–5.0. Each 0.1 mL in AUVI-Q 0.1 mg contains 0.1 mg epinephrine, 0.78 mg sodium chloride, 0.15 mg sodium bisulfite, hydrochloric acid to adjust pH, and water for injection. The pH range is 2.2–5.0. Epinephrine is a sympathomimetic catecholamine. Chemically, epinephrine is (-)-3,4-Dihydroxy-α-[(methylamino)methyl]benzyl alcohol with the following structure. Epinephrine solution deteriorates rapidly on exposure to air or light, turning pink from oxidation to adrenochrome and brown from the formation of melanin. AUVI-Q is not made with natural rubber latex. "Description": "Tamsulosin hydrochloride is an antagonist of alpha1A adrenoceptors in the prostate. Tamsulosin hydrochloride is (-)-(R)-5-[2-[[2-(o-Ethoxyphenoxy) ethyl]amino]propyl]-2-methoxybenzenesulfonamide, monohydrochloride. Tamsulosin hydrochloride USP is a white or almost white crystalline powder that melts with decomposition at approximately 230°C. It is sparingly soluble in water and methanol, slightly soluble in glacial acetic acid and ethanol, and practically insoluble in ether. The molecular formula of tamsulosin hydrochloride is C20H28N2O5S HCl. The molecular weight of tamsulosin hydrochloride is 444.98. Its structural formula is: Each tamsulosin hydrochloride capsule, USP for oral administration contains tamsulosin hydrochloride USP 0.4 mg, and the following inactive ingredients: calcium stearate, FD&C Blue 2, gelatin, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, microcrystalline cellulose, methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate copolymer dispersion, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, triacetin, and titanium dioxide. The capsules are printed with SW-9008 Black Ink containing black iron oxide, butyl alcohol, dehydrated alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, shellac, and strong ammonia solution. Meets USP dissolution test 10."

Refer to the vial label for the product concentration. Source material mold mycelia and Candida albicans cells are cultivated on liquid medium which may contain one or more of the following constituents: casein hydrolysate; malt extract; yeast extract; maltose; dextrose; ammonium nitrate, calcium carbonate, calcium chloride, ammonium citrate, potassium phosphate, sodium citrate, citric acid; magnesium sulfate; or trace elements. Acetone and ether may be used as drying and de-fatting agents. Candida albicans cells are treated with phenol, which is removed by dialysis. "IndicationAndUsage": "Furosemide tablets are indicated in adults and pediatric patients for the treatment of edema associated with congestive heart failure, cirrhosis of the liver, and renal disease, including the nephrotic syndrome. Furosemide is particularly useful when an agent with greater diuretic potential is desired.",
"Description": "Furosemide is a diuretic which is an anthranilic acid derivative. Furosemide tablets, USP for oral administration contain furosemide, USP as the active ingredient and the following inactive ingredients: corn starch, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, pregelatinized starch, and sodium starch glycolate. Chemically, it is 4-chloro-N-furfuryl-5-sulfamoylanthranilic acid. Furosemide , USP is available as white to off white round tablets for oral administration in dosage strengths of 20, 40 and 80 mg. Furosemide, USP is a white to slightly yellow odorless crystalline powder. It is practically insoluble in water, soluble in 15 parts of acetone, freely soluble in dimethylformamide and in solution of alkali hydroxides; soluble in methanol; sparingly soluble in alcohol; very slightly soluble in chloroform. The CAS Registry Number is 54-31-9. It has a molecular formula of C 12H 11ClN 2O 5S and a molecular weight of 330.75. The molecular structure is as follows. Tested by USP Dissolution Test 1."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Nicardipine hydrochloride injection is a calcium channel blocker indicated for the short-term treatment of hypertension when oral therapy is not feasible.",
"Description": "Nicardipine hydrochloride is a calcium ion influx inhibitor (slow channel blocker or calcium channel blocker). Nicardipine hydrochloride injection, USP for intravenous administration contains 2.5 mg/mL of nicardipine hydrochloride, USP. Nicardipine hydrochloride is a dihydropyridine derivative with IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) chemical name 2-[benzyl(methyl)amino]ethyl methyl (4RS)-2,6-dimethyl-4-(3-nitrophenyl)-1,4-dihydropyridine-3,5-dicarboxylate hydrochloride and has the following structure. Nicardipine hydrochloride, USP is a pale greenish yellow crystalline powder that has a melting point range of 167° to 171°C. It is soluble in methanol, sparingly soluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in acetone, chloroform and water. It has a molecular weight of 515.99 g/mol. Nicardipine hydrochloride injection, USP is available as a sterile, non-pyrogenic, clear, yellow solution in 10 mL vials for intravenous infusion after dilution. Each mL contains 2.5 mg nicardipine hydrochloride USP, 0.305 mg benzoic acid and 7.5 mg sodium chloride in water for injection. Sodium hydroxide (q.s.) may have been added to adjust pH between 3.3 to 3.8."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Nicardipine hydrochloride injection is a calcium channel blocker indicated for the short-term treatment of hypertension when oral therapy is not feasible.",
"Description": "Nicardipine hydrochloride is a calcium ion influx inhibitor (slow channel blocker or calcium channel blocker). Nicardipine hydrochloride injection, USP for intravenous administration contains 2.5 mg/mL of nicardipine hydrochloride, USP. Nicardipine hydrochloride is a dihydropyridine derivative with IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) chemical name 2-[benzyl(methyl)amino]ethyl methyl (4RS)-2,6-dimethyl-4-(3-nitrophenyl)-1,4-dihydropyridine-3,5-dicarboxylate hydrochloride and has the following structure. Nicardipine hydrochloride, USP is a pale greenish yellow crystalline powder that has a melting point range of 167° to 171°C. It is soluble in methanol, sparingly soluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in acetone, chloroform and water. It has a molecular weight of 515.99 g/mol. Nicardipine hydrochloride injection, USP is available as a sterile, non-pyrogenic, clear, yellow solution in 10 mL vials for intravenous infusion after dilution. Each mL contains 2.5 mg nicardipine hydrochloride USP, 0.305 mg benzoic acid and 7.5 mg sodium chloride in water for injection. Sodium hydroxide (q.s.) may have been added to adjust pH between 3.3 to 3.8."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Zolpidem tartrate tablets are indicated for the short-term treatment of insomnia characterized by difficulties with sleep initiation. Zolpidem tartrate tablets have been shown to decrease sleep latency for up to 35 days in controlled clinical studies [see Clinical Studies ( 14)] . The clinical trials performed in support of efficacy were 4 to 5 weeks in duration with the final formal assessments of sleep latency performed at the end of treatment.",
"Description": "Zolpidem tartrate tablets, USP contains zolpidem tartrate, USP a gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) A receptor positive modulator of the imidazopyridine class. Zolpidem tartrate tablets, USP are available in 5 mg and 10 mg strength tablets for oral administration. Chemically, zolpidem tartrate, USP is N, N,6-Trimethyl-2- p-tolylimidazo[1,2-α]pyridine-3-acetamide L-(+)-tartrate. It has the following structure:. (C 19H 21N 3O) 2C 4H 6O 6 M.W. 764.87. Zolpidem tartrate, USP is a white to off-white crystalline powder that is sparingly soluble in water, alcohol, and propylene glycol. Each zolpidem tartrate tablet, USP includes the following inactive ingredients: hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, sodium starch glycolate, and titanium dioxide; the 5 mg tablet also contains iron oxide red."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Cyanocobalamin is indicated for vitamin B12 deficiencies due to malabsorption which may be associated with the following conditions: 1 Addisonian (pernicious) anemia, 2 Gastrointestinal pathology, dysfunction, or surgery, including gluten enteropathy or sprue, small bowel bacteria overgrowth, total or partial gastrectomy, 3 Fish tapeworm infestation, 4 Malignancy of pancreas or bowel, 5 Folic acid deficiency.",
"Description": "Cyanocobalamin Injection, USP is a sterile solution of cyanocobalamin for intramuscular or subcutaneous injection. Each mL contains 1,000 mcg cyanocobalamin. Each vial also contains Sodium Chloride USP, 0.9%. Benzyl Alcohol NF, 1.5%, is present as a preservative. Dibasic Sodium Phosphate (Heptahydrate) USP 0.05% is present as a buffering agent. Hydrochloric acid NF and/or sodium hydroxide NF may have been added during manufacture to adjust the pH (range 4.5-7.0). Cyanocobalamin appears as crystals or deep red colored, odorless crystalline powder. It is very hygroscopic in the anhydrous form, and sparingly soluble in water (1:80). It is stable to autoclaving for short periods at 121°C. The vitamin B12 coenzymes are very unstable in light. The chemical name is 5,6-dimethyl-benzimidazolyl cyanocobamide; the molecular formula is C63H88CoN14O14P. The cobalt content is 4.35%. The molecular weight is 1355.4. The structural formula is represented below."

"Description": "Raloxifene hydrochloride, USP is an estrogen agonist/antagonist, commonly referred to as a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) that belongs to the benzothiophene class of compounds. The chemical structure is. The chemical designation is methanone, [6-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)benzo[b]thien-3-yl]-[4-[2-(1-piperidinyl) ethoxy]phenyl]-, hydrochloride. Raloxifene hydrochloride (HCl) has the empirical formula C28H27NO4SHCl, which corresponds to a molecular weight of 510.05. Raloxifene HCl, USP is an off-white to pale-yellow solid that is very slightly soluble in water. Raloxifene hydrochloride tablets, USP are supplied in a tablet dosage form for oral administration. Each raloxifene hydrochloride tablet contains 60 mg of raloxifene HCl, USP which is the molar equivalent of 55.71 mg of free base. Inactive ingredients include mannitol, crospovidone, hydroxypropyl cellulose, poloxamer 407, magnesium stearate and opadry white (titanium Dioxide, hypromellose 2910 (3cP), hypromellose 2910 (6cP), macrogol/PEG 400 and polysorbate 80)."
