"IndicationAndUsage": "Citalopram, is indicated for the treatment of depression. The efficacy of citalopram hydrobromide, in the treatment of depression was established in 4 to 6 week, controlled trials of outpatients whose diagnosis corresponded most closely to the DSM-III and DSM-III-R category of major depressive disorder (see CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY). A major depressive episode (DSM-IV) implies a prominent and relatively persistent (nearly every day for at least 2 weeks) depressed or dysphoric mood that usually interferes with daily functioning, and includes at least five of the following nine symptoms: depressed mood, loss of interest in usual activities, significant change in weight and/or appetite, insomnia or hypersomnia, psychomotor agitation or retardation, increased fatigue, feelings of guilt or worthlessness, slowed thinking or impaired concentration, a suicide attempt or suicidal ideation. The antidepressant action of citalopram in hospitalized depressed patients has not been adequately studied. The efficacy of citalopram in maintaining an antidepressant response for up to 24 weeks following 6 to 8 weeks of acute treatment was demonstrated in two placebo-controlled trials (see CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY). Nevertheless, the physician who elects to use citalopram for extended periods should periodically re-evaluate the long-term usefulness of the drug for the individual patient.",
"Description": "Citalopram hydrobromide, USP is an orally administered selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) with a chemical structure unrelated to that of other SSRIs or of tricyclic, tetracyclic, or other available antidepressant agents. Citalopram hydrobromide is a racemic bicyclic phthalane derivative designated ( )‑1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-1-(4-fluorophenyl)-1,3-dihydroisobenzofuran-5-carbonitrile, hydrobromide with the following structural formula. The molecular formula is C 20H 22BrFN 2O and its molecular weight is 405.35. Citalopram hydrobromide, USP occurs as a fine, white to off-white powder. Citalopram hydrobromide is sparingly soluble in water and soluble in ethanol. Citalopram hydrobromide is available only in tablet dosage form.

<IndicationAndUsage>Citalopram, is indicated for the treatment of depression. Nevertheless, the physician who elects to use citalopram for extended periods should periodically re-evaluate the long-term usefulness of the drug for the individual patient.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Citalopram hydrobromide, USP is an orally administered selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) with a chemical structure unrelated to that of other SSRIs or of tricyclic, tetracyclic, or other available antidepressant agents. Citalopram 10 mg tablets are film-coated, round shaped tablets containing citalopram hydrobromide in strengths equivalent to 10 mg citalopram base. Citalopram hydrobromide 20 mg and 40 mg tablets are film-coated, oval shaped, scored tablets containing citalopram hydrobromide, in strengths equivalent to 20 mg or 40 mg citalopram base. The tablets also contain the following inactive ingredients: copovidone, croscarmellose sodium, ferric oxide red, ferric oxide yellow, glycerin, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, starch, and titanium dioxide.</Description>

The efficacy of citalopram in maintaining an antidepressant response for up to 24 weeks following 6 to 8 weeks of acute treatment was demonstrated in two placebo-controlled trials (see CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY). Nevertheless, the physician who elects to use citalopram for extended periods should periodically re-evaluate the long-term usefulness of the drug for the individual patient.</IndicationAndUsage>

<IndicationAndUsage>Minocycline hydrochloride capsules, USP are indicated in the treatment of the following infections due to susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms. Rocky Mountain spotted fever, typhus fever and the typhus group, Q fever, rickettsialpox and tick fevers caused by rickettsiae. Respiratory tract infections caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae. Lymphogranuloma venereum caused by Chlamydia trachomatis. Psittacosis (Ornithosis) due to Chlamydophila psittaci. Trachoma caused by Chlamydia trachomatis, although the infectious agent is not always eliminated, as judged by immunofluorescence. Inclusion conjunctivitis caused by Chlamydia trachomatis. Nongonococcal urethritis, endocervical, or rectal infections in adults caused by Ureaplasma urealyticumor Chlamydia trachomatis. Relapsing fever due to Borrelia recurrentis. Chancroid caused by Haemophilus ducreyi. Plague due to Yersinia pestis. Tularemia due to Francisella tularensis. Cholera caused by Vibrio cholerae. Campylobacter fetus infections caused by Campylobacter fetus. Brucellosis due to Brucellaspecies (in conjunction with streptomycin). Bartonellosis due to Bartonella bacilliformis. Granuloma inguinale caused by Klebsiella granulomatis. Minocycline is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by the following gram-negative microorganisms when bacteriologic testing indicates appropriate susceptibility to the drug. Escherichia coli. Klebsiella aerogenes. Shigellaspecies. Acinetobacterspecies. Respiratory tract infections caused by Haemophilus influenzae. Respiratory tract and urinary tract infections caused by Klebsiellaspecies. Minocycline hydrochloride capsules, USP are indicated for the treatment of infections caused by the following gram-positive microorganisms when bacteriologic testing indicates appropriate susceptibility to the drug. Upper respiratory tract infections caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae. Skin and skin structure infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus. (NOTE: Minocycline is not the drug of choice in the treatment of any type of staphylococcal infection.). When penicillin is contraindicated, minocycline is an alternative drug in the treatment of the following infections. Uncomplicated urethritis in men due to Neisseria gonorrhoeaeand for the treatment of other gonococcal infections. Infections in women caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Syphilis caused by Treponema pallidumsubspecies pallidum. Yaws caused by Treponema pallidumsubspecies pertenue. Listeriosis due to Listeria monocytogenes. Anthrax due to Bacillus anthracis. Oral minocycline is indicated in the treatment of asymptomatic carriers of Neisseria meningitidisto eliminate meningococci from the nasopharynx. In order to preserve the usefulness of minocycline in the treatment of asymptomatic meningococcal carriers, diagnostic laboratory procedures, including serotyping and susceptibility testing, should be performed to establish the carrier state and the correct treatment. It is recommended that the prophylactic use of minocycline be reserved for situations in which the risk of meningococcal meningitis is high. Oral minocycline is not indicated for the treatment of meningococcal infection. Although no controlled clinical efficacy studies have been conducted, limited clinical data show that oral minocycline hydrochloride has been used successfully in the treatment of infections caused by Mycobacterium marinum. To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of minocycline hydrochloride capsules, USP and other antibacterial drugs, minocycline hydrochloride capsules, USP should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. When culture and susceptibility information are available, they should be considered in selecting or modifying antibacterial therapy. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy.</IndicationAndUsage>

<IndicationAndUsage>ROTARIX is indicated for the prevention of rotavirus gastroenteritis caused by G1 and non-G1 types (G3, G4, and G9) when administered as a 2-dose series [see Clinical Studies (14.3)]. ROTARIX is approved for use in infants 6 weeks and up to 24 weeks of age.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>ROTARIX (Rotavirus Vaccine, Live, Oral), for oral administration, is a live, attenuated rotavirus vaccine derived from the human 89-12 strain which belongs to G1P[8] type. The rotavirus vaccine strain is propagated on Vero cells. There are two formulations of ROTARIX: a reconstituted lyophilized formulation (supplied in a vial and oral dosing applicator presentation) and a liquid formulation (supplied in an oral dosing applicator only presentation). Formulation for the Vial and Oral Dosing Applicator Presentation. After reconstitution of the lyophilized vaccine component, each 1 mL dose of the ROTARIX formulation for the vial and oral dosing applicator presentation contains at least 106.0 median Cell Culture Infective Dose (CCID50) of live, attenuated rotavirus. The lyophilized vaccine component of this ROTARIX formulation contains amino acids, dextran, Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM), sorbitol, and sucrose. DMEM contains the following ingredients: sodium chloride, potassium chloride, magnesium sulfate, ferric (III) nitrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, sodium pyruvate, D-glucose, concentrated vitamin solution, L-cystine, L-tyrosine, amino acids solution, L-glutamine, calcium chloride, and sodium hydrogenocarbonate. In the manufacturing process, porcine-derived materials are used. Porcine circovirus type 1 (PCV-1) is present in this ROTARIX formulation. PCV-1 is not known to cause disease in humans. The liquid diluent contains calcium carbonate, sterile water, and xanthan. The diluent includes an antacid component (calcium carbonate) to protect the vaccine during passage through the stomach and prevent its inactivation due to the acidic environment of the stomach. This ROTARIX formulation is available in single-dose vials of lyophilized vaccine, accompanied by a prefilled oral dosing applicator of liquid diluent [see How Supplied/Storage and Handling (16)]. The tip caps of the prefilled oral dosing applicators contain natural rubber latex; the vial stoppers are not made with natural rubber latex. This ROTARIX formulation contains no preservatives. Formulation for the Oral Dosing Applicator Only Presentation. Each 1.5 mL dose of the ROTARIX formulation for the oral dosing applicator only presentation contains at least 106.0 CCID50 of live, attenuated rotavirus. This ROTARIX formulation contains disodium adipate, Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM), sucrose, and sterile water. DMEM contains the following ingredients: sodium chloride, potassium chloride, magnesium sulfate, ferric (III) nitrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, sodium pyruvate, D-glucose, concentrated vitamin solution, L-cystine, L-tyrosine, amino acids solution, L-glutamine, calcium chloride, and sodium hydrogenocarbonate. This ROTARIX formulation contains an antacid component (disodium adipate) to protect the vaccine during passage through the stomach and prevent its inactivation due to the acidic environment of the stomach. This ROTARIX formulation is available in single-dose prefilled oral dosing applicator [see How Supplied/Storage and Handling (16)]. The tip caps of the prefilled oral dosing applicators contain natural rubber latex. This ROTARIX formulation contains no preservatives.</Description>
