"IndicationAndUsage": "Indium In 111 pentetreotide injection, after radiolabeling is an agent for the scintigraphic localization of primary and metastatic neuroendocrine tumors bearing somatostatin receptors.",
"Description": "Indium In 111 pentetreotide is the kit for the preparation of indium In 111 pentetreotide injection, a radioactive diagnostic agent. It is a kit consisting of two components. 1). A 10-mL Pentetreotide Reaction Vial which contains a lyophilized mixture of. (i) 10 mcg pentetreotide [N-(diethylenetriamine-N,N,N',N”-tetraacetic acid-N”-acetyl)-D-phenylalanyl-L- hemicystyl-L-phenylalanyl-D- tryptophyl-L-lysyl-L-threonyl-L-hemicystyl-L-threoninol cyclic (2→7) disulfide], (also known as octreotide DTPA). (ii) 2 mg gentisic acid [2, 5-dihydroxybenzoic acid]. (iii) 4.9 mg trisodium citrate, anhydrous. (iv) 0.37 mg citric acid, anhydrous, and. (v) 10 mg inositol. Pentetreotide has the following structural formula. Prior to lyophilization, sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid may have been added for pH adjustment. The vial contents are sterile and nonpyrogenic. No bacteriostatic preservative is present. 2). A 10-mL vial of Indium In 111 Chloride Solution, which contains: 1.1 mL of 111 MBq/mL (3 mCi/mL) indium In 111 chloride in 0.02N HCl at time of calibration. The vial also contains ferric chloride at a concentration of 3.5 mcg/mL (ferric ion, 1.2 mcg/mL). The vial contents are sterile and nonpyrogenic. No bacteriostatic preservative is present. Indium In 111 pentetreotide injection is prepared by combining the two kit components ( see INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PREPARATION OF INDIUM In 111 PENTETREOTIDE INJECTION). Indium In 111 reacts with the diethylenetriaminetetraacetic acid portion of the pentetreotide molecule to form indium In 111 pentetreotide. The pH of the resultant indium In 111 pentetreotide injection is between 3.8 and 4.3. No bacteriostatic preservative is present. The indium In 111 pentetreotide injection is suitable for intravenous administration as is, or it may be diluted to a maximum volume of 3 mL with 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection, USP, immediately before intravenous administration. In either case, the radiolabeling yield of indium In 111 pentetreotide injection should be determined before administration to the patient. A method recommended for determining the labeling yield is presented at the end of this package insert (see RECOMMENDED METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF RADIOLABELING YIELD OF INDIUM In 111 PENTETREOTIDE INJECTION)."

"IndicationAndUsage": "When the natural exposure to elevated aeroallergens produces symptoms as described under Clinical Pharmacology, specific diagnosis and therapeutic procedures are indicated. Clearly, important clues to the cause of a person's allergic condition can be gleaned from a thorough history and careful physical examination. Diagnostic tests - in vitro or in vivo - serve only to confirm the physician's suspicions or to improve investigative skills. Specific diagnosis is especially indicated when the patient's symptoms are not controlled by medication. When immunotherapy is contemplated demonstration of sensitivity to a specific allergenic extract is necessary. An orderly approach to the use of diagnostic tests usually begins with direct skin testing. 5,6,11. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT INTENDED FOR TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WHO DO NOT MANIFEST IMMEDIATE HYPERSENSITIVITY REACTIONS TO THE ALLERGENIC EXTRACT FOLLOWING SKIN TESTING.",
"Description": "Allergenic extract in this vial is referred to as an individual treatment vial since it is designed primarily for the physician equipped to complete skin testing and supervise allergenic extract immunotherapy. The extract is sterile and intended for subcutaneous injection. The concentration of allergenic extract supplied will be based on the individual physician's prescription order and will be expressed in most cases on a weight/volume basis (or AU/ml with standardized extract) diluted either 1:10 or 1:5. Where mixtures of pollens and non-pollens have been ordered, the ingredients are listed on the final container label. To insure maximum potency for the entire dating period, dilutions will be prepared with 50% v/v glycerine unless otherwise specified. Ingredients - Active allergens, preservative and stabilizer are noted on the Physicians Prescription Ingredients Insert enclosed with each individual allergenic extract treatment vial. Dating Period - A twelve month dating period (expiration date) for the prescription vial will be on the container label. Extract Treatment Sets should be reordered when outdated. Government requirements include a two week holding period for sterility tests. Please allow three weeks minimum for delivery."

The pH of the reconstituted product is 4.2 to 5.7. The structure of mebrofenin (2,2'-[[2-[(3-Bromo-2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)-amino]-2-oxoethyl]imino] bisacetic acid) is shown below. Molecular Weight = 387.23. When sterile, pyrogen-free sodium pertechnetate Tc 99m injection is added to the vial, the diagnostic agent Technetium Tc 99m Mebrofenin is formed for administration by intravenous injection. PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS. Technetium Tc 99m decays by isomeric transition with a physical half-life of 6.02 hours. 1The principal photon that is useful for detection and imaging studies is listed in Table 1. 1Kocher, David C., \"Radioactive Decay Data Tables\", DOE/TIC-11026, (1981) p. 108. External Radiation. The specific gamma ray constant for Tc 99m is 0.78 R/hour-millicurie at 1 cm. The first half value layer is 0.017 cm of lead (Pb). A range of values for the relative attenuation of the radiation emitted by this radionuclide that results from interposition of various thicknesses of Pb is shown in Table 2. To facilitate control of the radiation exposure from millicurie amounts of this radionuclide, the use of a 0.25 cm thickness of Pb will attenuate the radiation emitted by a factor of about 1,000. To correct for physical decay of technetium Tc 99m, the fractions that remain at selected intervals after the time of calibration are shown in Table 3. *Calibration time."

<IndicationAndUsage>Indium In 111 pentetreotide injection, after radiolabeling is an agent for the scintigraphic localization of primary and metastatic neuroendocrine tumors bearing somatostatin receptors.</IndicationAndUsage>

Indium In 111 pentetreotide is the kit for the preparation of indium In 111 pentetreotide injection, a radioactive diagnostic agent. A method recommended for determining the labeling yield is presented at the end of this package insert (see RECOMMENDED METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF RADIOLABELING YIELD OF INDIUM In 111 PENTETREOTIDE INJECTION).

<IndicationAndUsage>When the natural exposure to elevated aeroallergens produces symptoms as described under Clinical Pharmacology, specific diagnosis and therapeutic procedures are indicated. 5,6,11. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT INTENDED FOR TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WHO DO NOT MANIFEST IMMEDIATE HYPERSENSITIVITY REACTIONS TO THE ALLERGENIC EXTRACT FOLLOWING SKIN TESTING.</IndicationAndUsage>

Allergenic extract in this vial is referred to as an individual treatment vial since it is designed primarily for the physician equipped to complete skin testing and supervise allergenic extract immunotherapy. Please allow three weeks minimum for delivery.

Each multidose reaction vial contains a nonradioactive, sterile, nonpyrogenic mixture of 45 mg mebrofenin, 0.54 mg (minimum) stannous fluoride dihydrate, SnF 22H 2O and 1.03 mg total tin, maximum (as stannous fluoride dihydrate, SnF 22H 2O), not more than 5.2 mg methylparaben, and 0.58 mg propylparaben. The pH is adjusted with sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid prior to lyophilization. The contents of the vial are lyophilized and sealed under nitrogen at the time of manufacture. 1The principal photon that is useful for detection and imaging studies is listed in Table 1. 1Kocher, David C., "Radioactive Decay Data Tables", DOE/TIC-11026, (1981) p. *Calibration time.

<IndicationAndUsage>Losartan potassium and hydrochlorothiazide tablet is a combination of losartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) and hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic indicated for: Treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions. ( 1.1) Reduction of the risk of stroke in patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy. There is evidence that this benefit does not apply to Black patients. ( 1.2).</IndicationAndUsage>

Losartan potassium and hydrochlorothiazide tablets 50 mg/12.5 mg, 100 mg/12.5 mg and 100 mg/25 mg combine an angiotensin II receptor blocker acting on the AT 1receptor subtype and a diuretic, hydrochlorothiazide. Losartan potassium, a non-peptide molecule, is chemically described as 2-butyl-4-chloro-1-[ p-( o-1 H-tetrazol-5-ylphenyl)benzyl]imidazole-5-methanol, monopotassium salt.
