"IndicationAndUsage": "Valacyclovir hydrochloride tablets are a nucleoside analogue DNA polymerase inhibitor indicated for. Adult Patients (1.1): 1 Cold Sores (Herpes Labialis), 2 Genital HerpesTreatment in immunocompetent patients (initial or recurrent episode)Suppression in immunocompetent or HIV-infected patientsReduction of transmission, 3 Herpes Zoster.",
"Description": "Valacyclovir hydrochloride is the hydrochloride salt of the L-valyl ester of the antiviral drug acyclovir. Valacyclovir hydrochloride tablets are blue, film-coated tablets for oral administration. Each tablet contains valacyclovir hydrochloride equivalent to 500 mg or 1 gram valacyclovir and the inactive ingredients croscarmellose sodium, FD&C Blue #2, hydrogenated castor oil, hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, starch (corn), and titanium dioxide. The chemical name of valacyclovir hydrochloride is L-valine, 2-[(2-amino-1,6-dihydro-6-oxo-9H-purin-9-yl)methoxy]ethyl ester, monohydrochloride. It has the following structural formula. Valacyclovir hydrochloride is a white to off-white powder with the molecular formula C13H20N6O4HCland a molecular weight of 360.80. The maximum solubility in water at 25°C is 174 mg/mL. The pkas for valacyclovir hydrochloride are 1.90, 7.47, and 9.43."

"IndicationAndUsage": "For Dermatologic Use: Salicylic Acid 6% is a topical aid in the removal of excessive keratin in hyperkeratotic skin disorders including verrucae, and the various ichthyoses (vulgaris, sex-linked and lamellar), keratosis palmaris and plantaris keratosis pilaris, pityriasis rubra pilaris, and psoriasis (including body, scalp, palms and soles). For Podiatric Use: Salicylic Acid 6% is a topical aid in the removal of excessive keratin on dorsal and plantar hyperkeratotic lesions. Topical preparations of 6% salicylic acid have been reported to be useful adjunctive therapy for verrucae plantares.",
"Description": "Salicylic Acid 6% Cream contains 6% salicylic acid USP incorporated into a specially formulated oil and water emulsion vehicle consisting of trolamine, purified water, methyl paraben, propyl paraben, phenoxyethanol, PEG 100 stearate, mineral oil, glyceryl stearate SE, dimethicone 350, ammonium lactate, disodium EDTA, glycerin, cetearyl alcohol (and) PEG-3, distearoylamidoethylmonium methosulfate (and) polysorbate 60, cetyl alcohol and cetearyl alcohol. Salicylic Acid 6% Lotion contains 6% w/w salicylic acid USP incorporated into a specially formulated oil and water emulsion vehicle consisting of trolamine, purified water, methyl paraben, propyl paraben, PEG 100 stearate, cetyl alcohol, mineral oil, glyceryl stearate SE, dimethicone 350, ammonium lactate, disodium EDTA, glycerine, cetearyl alcohol (and) PEG-3 distearoylamidoethylmonium methosulfate (and) polysorbate 60."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Tobramycin for Injection, is an aminoglycoside antibacterial indicated for the treatment of serious bacterial infections caused by susceptible isolates of the designated bacteria in the diseases listed below (1.1): : 1 Septicemia in the pediatric patient and adults caused by P. aeruginosa, E. coli, and Klebsiella species (spp). , 2 Lower respiratory tract infections caused by P. aeruginosa, Klebsiella spp, Enterobacter spp, Serratia spp, E. coli, and S. aureus, 3 Serious central nervous system infections (meningitis) caused by susceptible organisms. , 4 Intra-abdominal infections, including peritonitis, caused by E. coli, Klebsiella spp., and Enterobacter spp. , 5 Skin, bone, and skin structure infections caused by P. aeruginosa, Proteus spp, E. coli, Klebsiella spp., Enterobacter spp., and S. aureus. Complicated urinary tract infections caused by P. aeruginosa, Proteus spp., (indole-positive and indole-negative), E. coli, Klebsiella spp., .",
"Description": "Tobramycin sulfate, a water-soluble aminoglycoside antibacterial, drug derived from the actinomycete Streptomyces tenebrarius. Tobramycin for Injection, USP is supplied as a sterile powder in a pharmacy bulk package vial for intravenous use. It is intended for reconstitution with 30 mL of Sterile Water for Injection, USP. Each vial contains tobramycin sulfate equivalent to 1.2 g of tobramycin. After reconstitution, the solution will contain 40 mg of tobramycin per mL. The product contains no preservative or sodium bisulfite. Tobramycin sulfate is O-3-amino-3-deoxy-α-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-O-[2,6-diamino-2,3,6-trideoxy-α-D-ribo-hexopyranosyl-(1→6)]-2-deoxy-L-streptamine, sulfate (2:5)(salt) and has the molecular formula (C18H37N5O9)25H2SO4. "IndicationAndUsage": "Scopolamine transdermal system is indicated in adults for the prevention of: 1 nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness., 2 post-operative nausea and vomiting (PONV) associated with recovery from anesthesia and/or opiate analgesia and surgery.",
"Description": "Scopolamine transdermal system is designed for continuous release of scopolamine following application to an area of intact skin on the head, behind the ear. Each system contains 1.3 mg of scopolamine base. Scopolamine is (9-methyl-3-oxa-9-azatricyclo[3.3.1.02,4]nonan-7-yl) 3-hydroxy-2-phenylpropanoate. The empirical formula is C17H21NO4 and its structural formula is:. Scopolamine has a molecular weight of 303.35 and a pKa of 7.55-7.81. The scopolamine transdermal system is a circular, 0.2 mm thick, 2.5 cm2 film with four layers. Proceeding from the visible surface towards the surface attached to the skin, these layers are: (1) a backing membrane of tan-colored, aluminized, polyester film; (2) a drug layer of scopolamine, crospovidone, isopropyl palmitate, light mineral oil, and polyisobutylene; (3) an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer membrane that controls the rate of delivery of scopolamine from the system to the skin surface; and (4) a contact layer formulation of crospovidone, isopropyl palmitate, light mineral oil, polyisobutylene, and scopolamine. A release liner of siliconized polyester, which covers the adhesive layer, is removed before the system is used. Cross section of the system."

"Description": "Scopolamine transdermal system is designed for continuous release of scopolamine following application to an area of intact skin on the head, behind the ear. Each system contains 1.3 mg of scopolamine base. Scopolamine is (9-methyl-3-oxa-9-azatricyclo[3.3.1.02,4]nonan-7-yl) 3-hydroxy-2-phenylpropanoate. The empirical formula is C17H21NO4 and its structural formula is:. Scopolamine has a molecular weight of 303.35 and a pKa of 7.55-7.81. The scopolamine transdermal system is a circular, 0.2 mm thick, 2.5 cm2 film with four layers. Proceeding from the visible surface towards the surface attached to the skin, these layers are: (1) a backing membrane of tan-colored, aluminized, polyester film; (2) a drug layer of scopolamine, crospovidone, isopropyl palmitate, light mineral oil, and polyisobutylene; (3) an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer membrane that controls the rate of delivery of scopolamine from the system to the skin surface; and (4) a contact layer formulation of crospovidone, isopropyl palmitate, light mineral oil, polyisobutylene, and scopolamine. "IndicationAndUsage": "Fluocinolone acetonide oil ear drops is indicated for the topical treatment of chronic eczematous external otitis in adults and pediatric patients 2 years of age and older.",
"Description": "Fluocinolone Acetonide Oil, 0.01% Ear Drops contains fluocinolone acetonide [(6α, 11β, 16α)-6,9-difluoro-11,21-dihydroxy-16, 17[(1-methylethylidene)bis(oxy)]-pregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione, cyclic 16,17 acetal with acetone], a synthetic corticosteroid for topical dermatologic use. Chemically, fluocinolone acetonide is C24H30F2O6. It has the following structural formula. Fluocinolone acetonide has a molecular weight of 452.50. It is a white crystalline powder that is odorless, stable in light, and melts at 270°C with decomposition; soluble in alcohol, acetone and methanol; slightly soluble in chloroform; insoluble in water. Each gram of fluocinolone acetonide oil ear drops contains approximately 0.11 mg of fluocinolone acetonide in a blend of oils, which contains isopropyl alcohol, isopropyl myristate, light mineral oil, oleth-2 and refined peanut oil NF. Fluocinolone acetonide oil ear drops is formulated with 48% refined peanut oil. The bulk refined peanut oil, used in fluocinolone acetonide oil ear drops is heated just below 232°C (450°F) for at least 15 minutes."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Mupirocin cream is indicated for the treatment of secondarily infected traumatic skin lesions (up to 10 cm in length or 100 cm2 in area) due to susceptible isolates of Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and Streptococcus pyogenes (S. pyogenes).",
"Description": "Mupirocin Cream USP, 2% contains the dihydrate crystalline calcium hemi-salt of the RNA synthetase inhibitor antibacterial, mupirocin. Chemically, it is (αE,2S,3R,4R,5S)-5-[(2S,3S,4S,5S)-2,3-epoxy-5-hydroxy-4-metylhexyl]tetrahydro-3,4-dihydroxy-β-methyl-2H-pyran-2-crotonic acid, ester with 9-hydroxynonanoic acid, calcium salt (2:1), dihydrate. The molecular formula of mupirocin calcium is (C26H43O9)2Ca2H2O, and the molecular weight is 1075.3. The molecular weight of mupirocin free acid is 500.6. The structural formula of mupirocin calcium, is. Each gram of mupirocin cream USP contains 20 mg (2% w/w) of mupirocin equivalent to 21.5 mg (2.15% w/w) of mupirocin calcium. The inactive ingredients are benzyl alcohol, mono and di-glycerides, mineral oil, phenoxyethanol, polyoxyl 20 cetostearyl ether, purified water and xanthan gum."

"Description": "Betamethasone Dipropionate Lotion USP, 0.05% contains betamethasone dipropionate, USP, a synthetic adrenocorticosteroid, for dermatologic use. Betamethasone, an analog of prednisolone, has high corticosteroid activity and slight mineralocorticoid activity. Betamethasone dipropionate is the 17, 21-dipropionate ester of betamethasone. Chemically, betamethasone dipropionate is 9-fluoro-11β,17,21-trihydroxy-16β-methylpregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione 17,21-dipropionate, with the empirical formula C28H37FO7, a molecular weight of 504.6, and the following structural formula. Betamethasone dipropionate is a white to creamy white, odorless crystalline powder, insoluble in water. Each gram of Betamethasone Dipropionate Lotion USP, 0.05% contains 0.64 mg betamethasone dipropionate (equivalent to 0.5 mg betamethasone) in a lotion base of carbomer homopolymer type B, isopropyl alcohol, and purified water.
