"IndicationAndUsage": "Sildenafil tablets are indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.",
"Description": "Sildenafil Tablets, USP an oral therapy for erectile dysfunction, is the citrate salt of sildenafil, a selective inhibitor of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP)-specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5). Sildenafil citrate, USP is designated chemically as 1-[[3-(6,7-dihydro-1-methyl-7-oxo-3-propyl-1H-pyrazolo[4,3 d]pyrimidin-5-yl)-4-ethoxyphenyl]sulfonyl]-4 methylpiperazine citrate and has the following structural formula. Sildenafil citrate, USP is a white to off-white crystalline powder with a solubility of 3.5 mg/mL in water and a molecular weight of 666.7. Sildenafil tablets, USP are formulated as white to off-white, diamond shaped film-coated tablets containing sildenafil citrate, USP equivalent to 25 mg, 50 mg, or 100 mg of sildenafil for oral administration. In addition to the active ingredient, sildenafil citrate USP, each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, dibasic calcium phosphate dihydrate, hypromellose, magnesium stearate and microcrystalline cellulose. The film coating ingredient contains: Hypromellose, titanium dioxide, triacetin."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Carefully consider the potential benefits and risks of ibuprofen tablets and other treatment options before deciding to use ibuprofen. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration consistent with individual patient treatment goals (see WARNINGS). Ibuprofen tablets are indicated for relief of the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Ibuprofen tablets are indicated for relief of mild to moderate pain. Ibuprofen tablets are also indicated for the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea. Controlled clinical trials to establish the safety and effectiveness of ibuprofen tablets in children have not been conducted.",
"Description": "Ibuprofen tablets contain the active ingredient ibuprofen, which is (±)-2-( p-isobutylphenyl) propionic acid. Ibuprofen is a white powder with a melting point of 74-77° C and is very slightly soluble in water (<1 mg/mL) and readily soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and acetone. The structural formula is represented below:. Ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), is available in 400 mg, 600 mg and 800 mg tablets for oral administration. Inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose 2910, hydroxypropyl cellulose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol 400, pregelatinized starch, povidone k-90, sodium lauryl sulphate, titanium dioxide."

"Description": "Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetonide Ointment for dermatologic use contain the antifungal agent nystatin and the synthetic corticosteroid triamcinolone acetonide. Nystatin is a polyene antimycotic obtained from Streptomyces noursei. "IndicationAndUsage": "Cyclobenzaprine HCl tablets USP are indicated as an adjunct to rest and physical therapy for relief of muscle spasm associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions. Improvement is manifested by relief of muscle spasm and its associated signs and symptoms, namely, pain, tenderness, limitation of motion, and restriction in activities of daily living. Cyclobenzaprine HCl should be used only for short periods (up to two or three weeks) because adequate evidence of effectiveness for more prolonged use is not available and because muscle spasm associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions is generally of short duration and specific therapy for longer periods is seldom warranted. Cyclobenzaprine HCl has not been found effective in the treatment of spasticity associated with cerebral or spinal cord disease, or in children with cerebral palsy.",
"Description": "Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride, USP is a white, crystalline tricyclic amine salt with the empirical formula C20H21NHCl and a molecular weight of 311.9. It has a melting point of 217˚C, and a pKa of 8.47 at 25˚C. It is freely soluble in water and alcohol, sparingly soluble in isopropanol, and insoluble in hydrocarbon solvents. If aqueous solutions are made alkaline, the free base separates. Cyclobenzaprine HCl, USP is designated chemically as 3-(5H –dibenzo[a,d]cyclohepten-5-ylidene)-N, N-dimethyl-1-propanamine hydrochloride, and has the following structural formula. [Image]. Cyclobenzaprine HCl USP, 5 mg is supplied as a 5 mg tablet for oral administration. Cyclobenzaprine HCl USP, 10 mg is supplied as a 10 mg tablet for oral administration. Cyclobenzaprine HCl tablets USP, 5 mg contain the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate and opadry beige (hypromellose 6cP, titanium dioxide, PEG 400, iron oxide yellow and iron oxide red). "IndicationAndUsage": "Metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets are indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.",
"Description": "Metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets USP contain the biguanidine antihyperglycemic agent, metformin, in the form of monohydrochloride salt. The chemical name of metformin hydrochloride is N, N-dimethylimidodicarbonimidic diamide hydrochloride with a molecular formula of C4H11N5HCl and a molecular weight of 165.63. Its structural formula is: Metformin hydrochloride USP is a white crystalline powder that is freely soluble in water and is practically insoluble in acetone, ether and chloroform. The pKa of metformin is 12.4. The pH of a 1% aqueous solution of metformin hydrochloride is 6.68. Metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets USP deliver 500 mg or 1,000 mg of metformin hydrochloride USP, which is equivalent to 389.93 mg or 779.86 mg metformin, respectively. In addition to the active ingredient metformin hydrochloride USP, each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: ammonio methacrylate copolymer type A, ammonio methacrylate copolymer type B, ammonium hydroxide, hydroxy propylcellulose, hypromellose, iron oxide black, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, shellac, talc and triethyl citrate. FDA approved dissolution test differs from the USP monograph."

"IndicationAndUsage": "1.1 Major Depressive Disorder. Duloxetine Delayed-release Capsules are indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD). The efficacy of Duloxetine Delayed-release Capsules was established in four short-term and one maintenance trial in adults [see Clinical Studies (14.1)]. A major depressive episode (DSM-IV) implies a prominent and relatively persistent (nearly every day for at least 2 weeks) depressed or dysphoric mood that usually interferes with daily functioning, and includes at least 5 of the following 9 symptoms: depressed mood, loss of interest in usual activities, significant change in weight and/or appetite, insomnia or hypersomnia, psychomotor agitation or retardation, increased fatigue, feelings of guilt or worthlessness, slowed thinking or impaired concentration, or a suicide attempt or suicidal ideation. 1.2 Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Duloxetine Delayed-release Capsules are indicated for the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). The efficacy of Duloxetine Delayed-release Capsules was established in three short-term trials and one maintenance trial in adults [see Clinical Studies (14.2)]. Generalized anxiety disorder is defined by the DSM-IV as excessive anxiety and worry, present more days than not, for at least 6 months. The excessive anxiety and worry must be difficult to control and must cause significant distress or impairment in normal functioning. It must be associated with at least 3 of the following 6 symptoms: restlessness or feeling keyed up or on edge, being easily fatigued, difficulty concentrating or mind going blank, irritability, muscle tension, and/or sleep disturbance. 1.3 Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathic Pain. Duloxetine Delayed-release Capsules are indicated for the management of neuropathic pain (DPNP) associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy [see Clinical Studies (14.3)]. 1.5 Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain. Duloxetine Delayed-release Capsules are indicated for the management of chronic musculoskeletal pain. This has been established in studies in patients with chronic low back pain (CLBP) and chronic pain due to osteoarthritis [see Clinical Studies (14.5)].",
"Description": "Duloxetine Delayed-release Capsules (duloxetine hydrochloride) are a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SSNRI) for oral administration. Its chemical designation is (+)-(S)-N-methyl-γ-(1-naphthyloxy)-2-thiophenepropylamine hydrochloride. The empirical formula is C18H19NOS∙HCl, which corresponds to a molecular weight of 333.88. The structural formula is. Duloxetine hydrochloride is a white to slightly brownish white solid, which is slightly soluble in water. Each capsule contains enteric-coated pellets of 22.4, 33.7, or 67.3 mg of duloxetine hydrochloride equivalent to 20, 30, or 60 mg of duloxetine, respectively. These enteric-coated pellets are designed to prevent degradation of the drug in the acidic environment of the stomach. Inactive ingredients include ammonium hydroxide, black iron oxide, hypromellose, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion (methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer, polysorbate 80, sodium lauryl sulfate), potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, shellac, sucrose, sugar spheres (maize starch, sucrose), talc, titanium dioxide, triethylcitrate, and hard gelatin capsules (gelatin, titanium dioxide). The 20 mg hard gelatin capsule colorant is yellow iron oxide. The 30 mg hard gelatin capsule colorants are FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C Yellow No. 6, and FD&C Yellow No. 10. The 60 mg hard gelatin capsule colorants are FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C Yellow No. 6, FD&C Yellow No.10, and yellow iron oxide."

"Description": "The active ingredient in pantoprazole sodium delayed-release tablets, USP is a substituted benzimidazole, sodium 5-(difluoromethoxy)-2-[[(3,4-dimethoxy-2-pyridinyl)methyl] sulfinyl]-1H-benzimidazole sesquihydrate, a compound that inhibits gastric acid secretion. Its molecular formula is C16H14F2N3NaO4S x 1.5 H2O, with a molecular weight of 432.4. The structural formula is. Pantoprazole sodium sesquihydrate, USP is a white to off-white crystalline powder and is racemic. Pantoprazole has weakly basic and acidic properties. Pantoprazole sodium sesquihydrate, USP is freely soluble in water, very slightly soluble in phosphate buffer at pH 7.4, and practically insoluble in n-hexane. The stability of the compound in aqueous solution is pH-dependent. The rate of degradation increases with decreasing pH. At ambient temperature, the degradation half-life is approximately 2.8 hours at pH 5 and approximately 220 hours at pH 7.8. Pantoprazole sodium is supplied as a delayed-release tablet, available in two strengths (20 mg and 40 mg). Each pantoprazole sodium delayed-release tablet contains 45.1 mg or 22.56 mg of pantoprazole sodium sesquihydrate, USP (equivalent to 40 mg or 20 mg pantoprazole, respectively) with the following inactive ingredients: ammonium hydroxide, basic butylated methacrylate copolymer, calcium stearate, hypromellose, iron oxide black, mannitol, methacrylic acid copolymer, polyethylene glycol 400, propylene glycol, shellac glaze, sodium carbonate anhydrous, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium starch glycolate, talc, titanium dioxide, triethyl citrate, and yellow iron oxide. Pantoprazole sodium delayed-release tablets (40 mg and 20 mg) complies with USP dissolution test 3."
