"IndicationAndUsage": "Zolpidem tartrate tablets are indicated for the short-term treatment of insomnia characterized by difficulties with sleep initiation. Zolpidem tartrate tablets have been shown to decrease sleep latency for up to 35 days in controlled clinical studies [see Clinical Studies]. The clinical trials performed in support of efficacy were 4 to 5 weeks in duration with the final formal assessments of sleep latency performed at the end of treatment.",
"Description": "Zolpidem tartrate is a gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) A agonist of the imidazopyridine class and is available in 5 mg and 10 mg strength tablets for oral administration. Chemically, zolpidem is N,N,6-trimethyl-2-p-tolylimidazo[1,2-a] pyridine-3-acetamide L-(+)-tartrate (2:1). It has the following structure. Zolpidem tartrate is a white to off-white crystalline powder that is sparingly soluble in water, alcohol, and propylene glycol. It has a molecular weight of 764.88. Each zolpidem tartrate tablet includes the following inactive ingredients: hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, and titanium dioxide; the 5-mg tablet also contains FD&C Blue #2 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Red #40 Aluminum Lake, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, and talc; the 10-mg tablet also contains stearic acid and triacetin."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Atorvastatin calcium tablets are indicated. To reduce the risk of: o Myocardial infarction (MI), stroke, revascularization procedures, and angina in adults with multiple risk factors for coronary heart disease (CHD) but without clinically evident CHD o MI and stroke in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus with multiple risk factors for CHD but without clinically evident CHD o Non-fatal MI, fatal and non-fatal stroke, revascularization procedures, hospitalization for congestive heart failure, and angina in adults with clinically evident CHD As an adjunct to diet to reduce low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in: o Adults with primary hyperlipidemia. o Adults and pediatric patients aged 10 years and older with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HeFH). As an adjunct to other LDL-C-lowering therapies, or alone if such treatments are unavailable, to reduce LDL-C in adults and pediatric patients aged 10 years and older with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH). As an adjunct to diet for the treatment of adults with: o Primary dysbetalipoproteinemia o Hypertriglyceridemia.",
"Description": "Atorvastatin is an inhibitor of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase. Atorvastatin calcium is calcium(βR,δR)-2-(p-fluorophenyl)-β,δ-dihydroxy-5-isopropyl-3-phenyl-4-(phenylcarbamoyl)pyrrole-1-heptanoate (1:2). The molecular formula of atorvastatin calcium is C66H68CaF2N4O103H2O and its molecular weight is 1,209.41. Its structural formula is:. Atorvastatin calcium USP is a white to off white powder that is insoluble in aqueous solutions of pH 4 and below. Atorvastatin calcium USP is insoluble to very slightly soluble in distilled water, in pH 7.4 phosphate buffer, and in acetonitrile; very slightly soluble to soluble in alcohol (99.9%); and soluble to freely soluble in methanol. Atorvastatin calcium tablets, USP for oral use contain atorvastatin 10 mg, 20 mg, 40 mg, or 80 mg (equivalent to 10.36 mg, 20.72 mg, 41.44 mg, or 82.88 mg atorvastatin calcium anhydrous) and the following inactive ingredients: calcium carbonate, croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropyl cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, Opadry White YS-1-7040 (hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, talc, titanium dioxide) and polysorbate 80. Meets USP Dissolution Test 3."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Olopatadine hydrochloride nasal spray is indicated for the relief of the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis in adults and pediatric patients 6 years of age and older.",
"Description": "Olopatadine Hydrochloride Nasal Spray, 665 micrograms (mcg) is a metered-spray solution for intranasal administration. Olopatadine hydrochloride, the active component of Olopatadine Hydrochloride Nasal Spray, is a white, water-soluble crystalline powder. The chemical name for olopatadine hydrochloride is (Z)-11-[3-(dimethylamino)propylidene]-6,11-dihydrodibenz [b,e]oxepin-2-acetic acid hydrochloride. It has a molecular weight of 373.88, and its molecular formula is C21H23NO3 HCl with the following chemical structure. Olopatadine Hydrochloride Nasal Spray contains 0.6% w/v olopatadine (base) in a nonsterile aqueous solution with pH of approximately 3.7. After initial priming (5 sprays), each metered spray from the nasal applicator delivers 100 microliters of the aqueous solution containing 665 mcg of olopatadine hydrochloride, which is equivalent to 600 mcg of olopatadine (base) [see Dosage Forms and Strengths (3)]. Olopatadine Hydrochloride Nasal Spray also contains benzalkonium chloride (0.01%), dibasic sodium phosphate, edetate disodium, sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide (to adjust pH), and purified water."

"IndicationAndUsage": "PREFEST is indicated in women who have a uterus for the: : 1 Treatment of moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms associated with the menopause., 2 Treatment of moderate to severe symptoms of vulvar and vaginal atrophy associated with the menopause. When prescribed solely for the treatment of symptoms of vulvar and vaginal atrophy, topical vaginal products should be considered., 3 Prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis. When prescribing solely for the prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis, therapy should only be considered for women at significant risk of osteoporosis and non-estrogen medications should be carefully considered.",
"Description": "The PREFEST® regimen provides for a single oral tablet to be taken once daily. The peach tablet containing 1 mg estradiol, USP is taken on days one through three of therapy; the white tablet containing 1 mg estradiol, USP and 0.09 mg norgestimate, USP is taken on days four through six of therapy. This pattern is then repeated continuously to produce the constant estrogen/intermittent progestogen regimen of PREFEST. The estrogenic component of PREFEST is estradiol, USP. It is a white, crystalline solid, chemically described as estra-1,3,5(10)-triene-3,17β-diol. It has an empirical formula of C18H24O2 and molecular weight of 272.39. The structural formula is. The progestational component of PREFEST is micronized norgestimate, USP a white powder which is chemically described as 18,19-dinor-17-pregn-4-en-20-yn-3-one, 17-(acetyloxy)-13-ethyl-,oxime,(17α)-(+)-. It has an empirical formula of C23H31NO3 and a molecular weight of 369.50. The structural formula is. Each tablet for oral administration contains 1 mg estradiol, USP alone or 1 mg estradiol, USP and 0.09 mg of norgestimate, USP. The inactive ingredients are as follows. The estradiol, USP tablet contains anhydrous lactose, croscarmellose sodium, FD&C yellow no. 6 aluminum lake, magnesium stearate and microcrystalline cellulose. The estradiol and norgestimate tablet contains anhydrous lactose, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate and microcrystalline cellulose."
