"IndicationAndUsage": "Desoximetasone ointment USP, 0.25% is indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses.",
"Description": "Desoximetasone ointment USP, 0.25% contains the active synthetic corticosteroid desoximetasone. The topical corticosteroids constitute a class of primarily synthetic steroids used as anti-inflammatory and antipruritic agents. Each gram of desoximetasone ointment USP, 0.25% contains 2.5 mg of desoximetasone in an ointment base consisting of fractionated coconut oil and white petrolatum. The chemical name of desoximetasone is Pregna-1, 4-diene-3, 20-dione, 9-fluoro-11, 21-dihydroxy-16-methyl-,(11β,16α)-. Desoximetasone has the molecular formula C 22H 29FO 4and a molecular weight of 376.47. The CAS Registry Number is 382-67-2. The structural formula is."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Triamcinolone Acetonide Dental Paste USP, 0.1% is indicated for adjunctive treatment and for the temporary relief of symptoms associated with oral inflammatory lesions and ulcerative lesions resulting from trauma.",
"Description": "Triamcinolone Acetonide Dental Paste USP, 0.1%, contains the corticosteroid triamcinolone acetonide in an adhesive vehicle suitable for application to oral tissues. Triamcinolone acetonide is designated chemically as 9-fluoro-11β, 16α, 17, 21-tetrahydroxypregna-1, 4-diene-3, 20-dione cyclic 16, 17-acetal with acetone. The structural formula of triamcinolone acetonide is as follows. C 24H 31FO 6 MW 434.50. Each gram of triamcinolone acetonide dental paste contains 1 mg triamcinolone acetonide in an emollient dental paste containing carboxymethylcellulose sodium, gelatin, and pectin in a plasticized hydrocarbon gel (a polyethylene and mineral oil gel base)."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Clotrimazole cream USP is indicated for the topical treatment of candidiasis due to Candida albicansand tinea versicolor due to Malassezia furfur. Clotrimazole is also available as a nonprescription item which is indicated for the topical treatment of the following dermal infections: tinea pedis, tinea cruris, and tinea corporis due to Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Epidermophyton floccosum,and Microsporum canis.",
"Description": "Clotrimazole Cream USP, 1% contains clotrimazole, a synthetic antifungal agent having the chemical name {1-(o-Chloro-α, α-diphenylbenzyl)imidazole}; the molecular formula C 22H 17ClN 2; a molecular weight of 344.84; and the structural formula:. Clotrimazole is an odorless, white crystalline substance. It is practically insoluble in water, sparingly soluble in ether and very soluble in polyethylene glycol 400, ethanol and chloroform. Each gram of clotrimazole cream USP contains 10 mg clotrimazole, dispersed in a vanishing cream base of cetostearyl alcohol, cetyl esters wax, 2-octyldodecanol, polysorbate 60, purified water, sorbitan monostearate, and benzyl alcohol (1%) as preservative."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Diclofenac sodium topical gel is indicated for the topical treatment of actinic keratoses (AK).",
"Description": "Diclofenac Sodium Topical Gel, 3%, intended for dermatologic use, contains the active ingredient, diclofenac sodium, in a clear, transparent, colorless to slightly yellow gel base. Diclofenac sodium is a white to slightly yellow crystalline powder. It is freely soluble in methanol, soluble in ethanol, sparingly soluble in water, slightly soluble in acetone, and partially insoluble in ether. The chemical name for diclofenac sodium is. Sodium [ o-(2,6-dichloranilino) phenyl] acetate. Diclofenac sodium has a molecular weight of 318.13. The CAS number is CAS-15307-79-6. The structural formula is represented below. Diclofenac Sodium Topical Gel, 3% also contains benzyl alcohol, hyaluronate sodium, polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether, and purified water. 1 g of diclofenac sodium topical gel contains 30 mg of the active substance, diclofenac sodium."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel, 1%/5% is indicated for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris.",
"Description": "Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel, 1%/5% contains clindamycin phosphate, (7(S)-chloro-7-deoxylincomycin-2-phosphate). Clindamycin phosphate is a water soluble ester of the semi-synthetic antibiotic produced by a 7(S)-chloro-substitution of the 7(R)-hydroxyl group of the parent antibiotic lincomycin. Chemically, clindamycin phosphate is (C 18H 34ClN 2O 8PS). The structural formula for clindamycin is represented below:. Clindamycin phosphate has molecular weight of 504.97 and its chemical name is Methyl 7-chloro-6,7,8-trideoxy-6-(1-methyl-trans-4-propyl-L-2-pyrrolidinecarboxamido)-1-thio-L-threo-alpha-D-galacto-octopyranoside 2-(dihydrogen phosphate). Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel, 1%/5% also contains benzoyl peroxide, for topical use. Chemically, benzoyl peroxide is (C 14H 10O 4). It has the following structural formula:. Benzoyl peroxide has a molecular weight of 242.23. Each gram of Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel, 1%/5% contains, as dispensed, 10 mg (1%) clindamycin as phosphate and 50 mg (5%) benzoyl peroxide in a base of carbomer homopolymer type C, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, and purified water."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Desoximetasone Topical Spray is a corticosteroid indicated for the treatment of plaque psoriasis in patients 18 years of age or older.",
"Description": "Desoximetasone Topical Spray, 0.25% contains desoximetasone as the active ingredient. Desoximetasone is a corticosteroid with the chemical name of pregna-1, 4-diene-3, 20-dione, 9-fluoro-11, 21-dihydroxy-16-methyl-, (11β,16α)-. Desoximetasone has the molecular formula of C 22H 29FO 4and a molecular weight of 376.47. The CAS Registry Number is 382-67-2. The structural formula is. Each gram of Desoximetasone Topical Spray contains 2.5 mg of desoximetasone in a clear, colorless liquid with the following inactive ingredients: glyceryl oleate, isopropyl alcohol (23.4%), isopropyl myristate, L-menthol, and mineral oil. Desoximetasone Topical Spray is co-packaged with a manual spray pump for installation by the pharmacist prior to dispensing to patients."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Clindamycin phosphate gel USP, 1% is indicated in the treatment of acne vulgaris. In view of the potential for diarrhea, bloody diarrhea and pseudomembranous colitis, the physician should consider whether other agents are more appropriate (see CONTRAINDICATIONS, WARNINGS and ADVERSE REACTIONS).",
"Description": "Clindamycin phosphate gel USP, 1% contains clindamycin phosphate, USP, at a concentration equivalent to 10 mg clindamycin per gram. Clindamycin phosphate is a water soluble ester of the semi-synthetic antibacterial drug produced by a 7(S)-chloro-substitution of the 7(R)-hydroxyl group of the parent compound lincomycin. The gel contains allantoin, carbomer homopolymer type B, methylparaben, polyethylene glycol 400, propylene glycol, purified water and sodium hydroxide. The structural formula is represented below. The chemical name for clindamycin phosphate is Methyl 7-chloro-6,7,8-trideoxy-6-(1-methyl- trans-4-propyl-L-2-pyrrolidinecarboxamido)-1-thio-L- threo-α-D- galacto-octopyranoside 2-(dihydrogen phosphate)."

"Description": "Fluconazole, the first of a new subclass of synthetic triazole antifungal agents, is available as tablets for oral administration. Fluconazole is designated chemically as 2,4-difluoro-α,α 1-bis(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl) benzyl alcohol with an empirical formula of C 13H 12F 2N 6O and molecular weight of 306.3. The structural formula is:. Fluconazole is a white crystalline solid which is slightly soluble in water and saline. Fluconazole Tablets, USP contain 50, 100, 150, or 200 mg of fluconazole and the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, D&C Red No. 6 Lake, dibasic calcium phosphate anhydrous, FD&C Red No. 40 Lake, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium starch glycolate. Levetiracetam is chemically unrelated to existing antiepileptic drugs (AEDs). It has the following structural formula:.
