"Description": "ARNUITY ELLIPTA is an inhalation powder drug product for delivery of fluticasone furoate (an ICS) to patients by oral inhalation. Fluticasone furoate, a synthetic trifluorinated corticosteroid, has the chemical name (6α,11β,16α,17α)-6,9-difluoro-17-{[(fluoro-methyl)thio]carbonyl}-11-hydroxy-16-methyl-3-oxoandrosta-1,4-dien-17-yl 2-furancarboxylate and the following chemical structure. Fluticasone furoate is a white powder with a molecular weight of 538.6, and the empirical formula is C27H29F3O6S. It is practically insoluble in water. ARNUITY ELLIPTA is a light grey and orange plastic inhaler containing a foil blister strip. Each blister on the strip contains a white powder blend of micronized fluticasone furoate (50, 100, or 200 mcg) and lactose monohydrate (12.45, 12.40, or 12.30 mg, respectively) for a total powder blend of 12.5 mg per blister. The lactose monohydrate contains milk proteins. After the inhaler is activated, the powder within the blister is exposed and ready for dispersion into the airstream created by the patient inhaling through the mouthpiece. Under standardized in vitro test conditions, ARNUITY ELLIPTA 50 mcg, ARNUITY ELLIPTA 100 mcg, and ARNUITY ELLIPTA 200 mcg delivers 46, 90, and 182 mcg, respectively, of fluticasone furoate per dose when tested at a flow rate of 60 L/min for 4 seconds. In adult subjects with asthma and a mean FEV1 of 2.55 L/sec (range: 1.63 to 3.97 L/sec), mean peak inspiratory flow through the ELLIPTA inhaler was 103.2 L/min (range: 71.2 to 133.1 L/min). In pediatric subjects with asthma aged 5 to 11 years and a mean peak expiratory flow rate of 242 L/min (range: 130 to 420 L/min), mean peak inspiratory flow through the ELLIPTA inhaler was 51.8 L/min (range: 26.8 to 89.9 L/min). Therefore, the ELLIPTA inhaler is able to deliver the dose of fluticasone furoate in patients with asthma. The actual amount of drug delivered to the lung will depend on patient factors, such as inspiratory flow profile."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Tribenzor is indicated for the treatment of hypertension, alone or with other antihypertensive agents, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular (CV) events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions. These benefits have been seen in controlled trials of antihypertensive drugs from a wide variety of pharmacologic classes including the class to which this drug principally belongs. There are no controlled trials demonstrating risk reduction with Tribenzor. Control of high blood pressure should be part of comprehensive cardiovascular risk management, including, as appropriate, lipid control, diabetes management, antithrombotic therapy, smoking cessation, exercise, and limited sodium intake. Many patients will require more than one drug to achieve blood pressure goals. For specific advice on goals and management, see published guidelines, such as those of the National High Blood Pressure Education Program’s Joint National Committee on Prevention, Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of High Blood Pressure (JNC). Numerous antihypertensive drugs, from a variety of pharmacologic classes and with different mechanisms of action, have been shown in randomized controlled trials to reduce cardiovascular morbidity and mortality, and it can be concluded that it is blood pressure reduction, and not some other pharmacologic property of the drugs, that is largely responsible for those benefits. The largest and most consistent cardiovascular outcome benefit has been a reduction in the risk of stroke, but reductions in myocardial infarction and cardiovascular mortality also have been seen regularly. Elevated systolic or diastolic pressure causes increased cardiovascular risk, and the absolute risk increase per mmHg is greater at higher blood pressures, so that even modest reductions of severe hypertension can provide substantial benefit. Relative risk reduction from blood pressure reduction is similar across populations with varying absolute risk, so the absolute benefit is greater in patients who are at higher risk independent of their hypertension (for example, patients with diabetes or hyperlipidemia), and such patients would be expected to benefit from more aggressive treatment to a lower blood pressure goal. Some antihypertensive drugs have smaller blood pressure effects (as monotherapy) in black patients, and many antihypertensive drugs have additional approved indications and effects (e.g., on angina, heart failure, or diabetic kidney disease). These considerations may guide selection of therapy. Limitations of Use. This fixed combination drug is not indicated for the initial therapy of hypertension .",

"IndicationAndUsage": "Indapamide tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension, alone or in combination with other antihypertensive drugs. Indapamide tablets are also indicated for the treatment of salt and fluid retention associated with congestive heart failure. Usage in Pregnancy: The routine use of diuretics in an otherwise healthy woman is inappropriate and exposes mother and fetus to unnecessary hazard (see PRECAUTIONSbelow). Diuretics do not prevent development of toxemia of pregnancy, and there is no satisfactory evidence that they are useful in the treatment of developed toxemia. Edema during pregnancy may arise from pathological causes or from the physiologic and mechanical consequences of pregnancy. Indapamide is indicated in pregnancy when edema is due to pathologic causes, just as it is in the absence of pregnancy (however, see PRECAUTIONSbelow). Dependent edema in pregnancy, resulting from restriction of venous return by the expanded uterus, is properly treated through elevation of the lower extremities and use of support hose; use of diuretics to lower intravascular volume in this case is illogical and unnecessary. There is hypervolemia during normal pregnancy which is not harmful to either the fetus or the mother (in the absence of cardiovascular disease), but which is associated with edema, including generalized edema in the majority of pregnant women. If this edema produces discomfort, increased recumbency will often provide relief. In rare instances, this edema may cause extreme discomfort which is not relieved by rest. In these cases, a short course of diuretics may provide relief and may be appropriate.",
"Description": "Indapamide is an oral antihypertensive/diuretic. Its molecule contains both a polar sulfamoyl chlorobenzamide moiety and a lipid-soluble methylindoline moiety. It differs chemically from the thiazides in that it does not possess the thiazide ring system and contains only one sulfonamide group. The chemical name of indapamide is 4-chloro-N-(2-methyl-1-indolinyl)-3-sulfamoyl benzamide, and its molecular weight is 365.8. The compound is a weak acid, pKa=9.35±0.60, and is soluble in methanol, in acetonitrile, in glacial acetic acid, and in ethyl acetate; very slightly soluble in ether and in chloroform; practically insoluble in water. It is a white to off- white, crystalline powder. Each tablet, for oral administration, contains 1.25 mg or 2.5 mg of indapamide, USP and the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous lactose, colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polydextrose, polyethylene glycol, pregelatinized starch, sodium lauryl sulfate, titanium dioxide and triacetin. Additionally, the 1.25 mg product contains D&C Red# 30/ Helendon pink aluminum lake."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Major Depressive Disorder– Sertraline hydrochloride is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder in adults. The efficacy of sertraline hydrochloride in the treatment of a major depressive episode was established in six to eight week controlled trials of adult outpatients whose diagnoses corresponded most closely to the DSM-III category of major depressive disorder (see Clinical Trials under CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY). A major depressive episode implies a prominent and relatively persistent depressed or dysphoric mood that usually interferes with daily functioning (nearly every day for at least 2 weeks); it should include at least 4 of the following 8 symptoms: change in appetite, change in sleep, psychomotor agitation or retardation, loss of interest in usual activities or decrease in sexual drive, increased fatigue, feelings of guilt or worthlessness, slowed thinking or impaired concentration, and a suicide attempt or suicidal ideation. The antidepressant action of sertraline hydrochloride in hospitalized depressed patients has not been adequately studied. The efficacy of sertraline hydrochloride in maintaining an antidepressant response for up to 44 weeks following 8 weeks of open-label acute treatment (52 weeks total) was demonstrated in a placebo-controlled trial. The usefulness of the drug in patients receiving sertraline hydrochloride for extended periods should be reevaluated periodically (see Clinical Trials under CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY). Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) – Sertraline hydrochloride is indicated for the treatment of premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) in adults. The efficacy of sertraline hydrochloride in the treatment of PMDD was established in 2 placebo-controlled trials of female adult outpatients treated for 3 menstrual cycles who met criteria for the DSM-IIIR/IV category of PMDD (see Clinical Trials under CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY). The essential features of PMDD include markedly depressed mood, anxiety or tension, affective lability, and persistent anger or irritability. Other features include decreased interest in activities, difficulty concentrating, lack of energy, change in appetite or sleep, and feeling out of control. Physical symptoms associated with PMDD include breast tenderness, headache, joint and muscle pain, bloating and weight gain. These symptoms occur regularly during the luteal phase and remit within a few days following onset of menses; the disturbance markedly interferes with work or school or with usual social activities and relationships with others. In making the diagnosis, care should be taken to rule out other cyclical mood disorders that may be exacerbated by treatment with an antidepressant. The effectiveness of sertraline hydrochloride in long-term use, that is, for more than 3 menstrual cycles, has not been systematically evaluated in controlled trials. Therefore, the physician who elects to use sertraline hydrochloride for extended periods should periodically re-evaluate the long-term usefulness of the drug for the individual patient (see DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION).",

<IndicationAndUsage>ARNUITY ELLIPTA is indicated for the maintenance treatment of asthma in adult and pediatric patients aged 5 years and older. Limitations of Use. ARNUITY ELLIPTA is NOT indicated for the relief of acute bronchospasm.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>ARNUITY ELLIPTA is an inhalation powder drug product for delivery of fluticasone furoate (an ICS) to patients by oral inhalation. The actual amount of drug delivered to the lung will depend on patient factors, such as inspiratory flow profile.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>Tribenzor is indicated for the treatment of hypertension, alone or with other antihypertensive agents, to lower blood pressure. This fixed combination drug is not indicated for the initial therapy of hypertension .</IndicationAndUsage>

<IndicationAndUsage>Indapamide tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension, alone or in combination with other antihypertensive drugs. In these cases, a short course of diuretics may provide relief and may be appropriate.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Indapamide is an oral antihypertensive/diuretic. Additionally, the 1.25 mg product contains D&C Red# 30/ Helendon pink aluminum lake.</Description>

<Description>Levofloxacin is a synthetic broad-spectrum antibacterial agent for oral administration. Chemically, levofloxacin, a chiral fluorinated carboxyquinolone, is the pure (-)-(S)-enantiomer of the racemic drug substance ofloxacin. The chemical name is (-)-(S)-9-fluoro-2,3-dihydro-3-methyl-10-(4-methyl-1-piperazinyl)-7-oxo-7H-pyrido[1,2,3-de]-1,4-benzoxazine-6-carboxylic acid hemihydrate. Figure 1: The Chemical Structure of Levofloxacin. The empirical formula is C18H20FN3O4½ H2O and the molecular weight is 370.38. Levofloxacin is a white to light yellow crystalline powder. The molecule exists as a zwitterion at the pH conditions in the small intestine. The data demonstrate that from pH 0.6 to 5.8, the solubility of levofloxacin is essentially constant (approximately 100 mg/mL). Levofloxacin is considered soluble to freely soluble in this pH range, as defined by USP nomenclature. Above pH 5.8, the solubility increases rapidly to its maximum at pH 6.7 (272 mg/mL) and is considered freely soluble in this range. Above pH 6.7, the solubility decreases and reaches a minimum value (about 50 mg/mL) at a pH of approximately 6.9. Levofloxacin has the potential to form stable coordination compounds with many metal ions. This in vitro chelation potential has the following formation order:. Al+3>Cu+2>Zn+2>Mg+2>Ca+2. Excipients and Description of Dosage Forms. Levofloxacin Tablets. Levofloxacin tablets are available as film-coated tablets and contain the following inactive ingredients: : 1 250 mg (as expressed in the anhydrous form): colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, iron oxide red, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, povidone, propylene glycol, sodium starch glycolate and titanium dioxide., 2 500 mg (as expressed in the anhydrous form): colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, povidone, propylene glycol, sodium starch glycolate and titanium dioxide., 3 750 mg (as expressed in the anhydrous form): colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, povidone, propylene glycol, sodium starch glycolate and titanium dioxide.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>Major Depressive Disorder– Sertraline hydrochloride is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder in adults. Therefore, the physician who elects to use sertraline hydrochloride for extended periods should periodically re-evaluate the long-term usefulness of the drug for the individual patient (see DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION).</IndicationAndUsage>

<IndicationAndUsage>Major Depressive Disorder– Sertraline hydrochloride is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder in adults.
