"Description": "Dronabinol is a cannabinoid designated chemically as (6aR,10aR)-6a,7,8,10a-Tetrahydro-6,6,9- trimethyl-3-pentyl-6H-dibenzo[b,d]-pyran-1-ol. Dronabinol has the following empirical and structural formulas. C21H30O2 (molecular weight = 314.46). Dronabinol, the active ingredient in MARINOL (dronabinol capsules, USP), is synthetic delta-9- tetrahydrocannabinol (delta-9-THC). Dronabinol is a light yellow resinous oil that is sticky at room temperature and hardens upon refrigeration. Dronabinol is insoluble in water and is formulated in sesame oil. It has a pKa of 10.6 and an octanol-water partition coefficient: 6,000:1 at pH 7. Each MARINOL capsule strength is formulated with the following inactive ingredients: 2.5 mg capsule contains gelatin, glycerin, sesame oil, and titanium dioxide; 5 mg capsule contains iron oxide red and iron oxide black, gelatin, glycerin, sesame oil, and titanium dioxide; 10 mg capsule contains iron oxide red and iron oxide yellow, gelatin, glycerin, sesame oil, and titanium dioxide."

"Description": "Tadalafil USP is a selective inhibitor of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP)-specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5). Tadalafil USP has the molecular formula C22H19N3O4 representing a molecular weight of 389.41. The structural formula is. The chemical designation is pyrazino[1′,2′:1,6]pyrido[3,4-b]indole-1,4-dione, 6-(1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl)2,3,6,7,12,12a-hexahydro-2-methyl-, (6R,12aR)-. It is a white or almost white powder that is freely soluble in dimethylsulfoxide, slightly soluble in methylene chloride and practically insoluble in water. Tadalafil tablets, USP are available as oval-shaped tablets for oral administration. Each tablet contains 2.5, 5, 10, or 20 mg of tadalafil and the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous lactose, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, iron oxide yellow, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, poloxamer, sodium lauryl sulfate, titanium dioxide, and triacetin. In addition 2.5, 10 and 20 mg tablets contain talc. USP Dissolution Test Pending."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Levothyroxine sodium is used for the following indications. Hypothyroidism - As replacement or supplemental therapy in congenital or acquired hypothyroidism of any etiology, except transient hypothyroidism during the recovery phase of subacute thyroiditis. Specific indications include: primary (thyroidal), secondary (pituitary), and tertiary (hypothalamic) hypothyroidism and subclinical hypothyroidism. Primary hypothyroidism may result from functional deficiency, primary atrophy, partial or total congenital absence of the thyroid gland, or from the effects of surgery, radiation, or drugs, with or without the presence of goiter. "IndicationAndUsage": "Fluconazole Tablets are indicated for the treatment of: 1 1.Vaginal candidiasis (vaginal yeast infections due to Candida)., 2 2.Oropharyngeal and esophageal candidiasis. In open noncomparative studies of relatively small numbers of patients, fluconazole was also effective for the treatment of Candida urinary tract infections, peritonitis, and systemic Candida infections including candidemia, disseminated candidiasis, and pneumonia., 3 3.Cryptococcal meningitis. Before prescribing Fluconazole Tablets for AIDS patients with cryptococcal meningitis, please see CLINICAL STUDIES section. Studies comparing fluconazole to amphotericin B in non-HIV infected patients have not been conducted.",
"Description": "Fluconazole USP, the first of a new subclass of synthetic triazole antifungal agents, is available as tablets for oral administration. Fluconazole, USP is designated chemically as 2,4-Difluoro-1′,1′-bis(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl) benzyl alcohol and has the following structural formula. C13H12F2N6O M.W. 306.27. Fluconazole, USP is a white crystalline solid which is slightly soluble in water and saline. Fluconazole Tablets USP, for oral administration, contain 50 mg, 100 mg, 150 mg, or 200 mg of fluconazole, USP and have the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, croscarmellose sodium, FD&C red #40 aluminum lake, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and talc."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Metoprolol succinate, is a beta 1-selective adrenoceptor blocking agent. Metoprolol succinate extended-release tablets, USP are indicated for the treatment of: : 1 Hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and non-fatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions. ( 1.1) , 2 Angina Pectoris. ( 1.2) , 3 Heart Failure - for the treatment of stable, symptomatic (NYHA Class II or III) heart failure of ischemic, hypertensive, or cardiomyopathic origin. ( 1.3) .",
"Description": "Metoprolol succinate, is a beta 1-selective (cardioselective) adrenoceptor blocking agent, for oral administration, available as extended-release tablets. Metoprolol succinate extended-release tablets, USP have been formulated to provide a controlled and predictable release of metoprolol for once-daily administration. The tablets comprise a multiple unit system containing metoprolol succinate in a multitude of controlled release pellets. Each pellet acts as a separate drug delivery unit and is designed to deliver metoprolol continuously over the dosage interval. The tablets contain 23.75, 47.5, 95 and 190 mg of metoprolol succinate equivalent to 25, 50, 100 and 200 mg of metoprolol tartrate, USP, respectively. Its chemical name is (±)1- (isopropylamino)-3-[p-(2-methoxyethyl) phenoxy]-2-propanol succinate (2:1) (salt). Its structural formula is:. Metoprolol succinate, USP is a white crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 652.8. It is freely soluble in water; soluble in methanol; sparingly soluble in ethanol; slightly soluble in dichloromethane and 2-propanol; practically insoluble in ethyl-acetate, acetone, diethylether and heptane. Inactive ingredients: sugar spheres, povidone, ethyl cellulose, polyethylene glycol, hydroxypropyl cellulose, triethyl citrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, titanium dioxide, polydextrose, hypromellose, and triacetin."

"Description": "Oxcarbazepine Tablets USP are an antiepileptic drug available as 150 mg, 300 mg, and 600 mg film-coated tablets for oral administration. Oxcarbazepine, USP is 10,11-Dihydro-10-oxo-5H-dibenz[b,f]azepine-5-carboxamide, and its structural formula is. [structure]. Oxcarbazepine, USP is a light orange to creamish white or off-white powder. It is soluble in acetic acid, sparingly soluble in chloroform, practically insoluble in water. Its molecular weight is 252.27 g/mol. Oxcarbazepine film-coated tablets contain the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, ferric oxide (yellow), hypromellose, magnesium stearate, meglumine, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, and titanium dioxide."

"Description": "Abiraterone acetate, USP, the active ingredient of abiraterone acetate tablets, USP is the acetyl ester of abiraterone. Abiraterone is an inhibitor of CYP17 (17α-hydroxylase/C17,20-lyase). Each abiraterone acetate tablet, USP contains either 250 mg or 500 mg of abiraterone acetate, USP. Abiraterone acetate, USP is designated chemically as (3β)-17-(3-pyridinyl) androsta-5,16-dien-3-yl acetate and its structure is. Abiraterone acetate, USP is a white to off-white, non-hygroscopic, crystalline powder. Its molecular formula is C26H33NO2 and it has a molecular weight of 391.55. Abiraterone acetate, USP is a lipophilic compound with an octanol-water partition coefficient of 5.12 (Log P) and is practically insoluble in water. The pKa of the aromatic nitrogen is 5.19. Abiraterone acetate tablets, USP are available in 500 mg film-coated tablets and 250 mg uncoated tablets with the following inactive ingredients: 1 500 mg film-coated tablets: colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose PH101, and sodium lauryl sulfate. "Description": "The barbiturates are nonselective central nervous system (CNS) depressants that are primarily used as sedative-hypnotics. In subhypnotic doses, they are also used as anticonvulsants. The barbiturates and their sodium salts are subject to control under the Federal Controlled Substances Act. Phenobarbital is a barbituric acid derivative and occurs as white, odorless, small crystals or crystalline hydroxides and carbonates; sparingly soluble in chloroform. Phenobarbital is 5-ethyl-5-phenylbarbituric acid. Phenobarbital is a substituted pyrimidine derivative in which the basic structure is barbituric acid, a substance that has no CNS activity. CNS activity is obtained by substituting alkyl, alkenyl, or aryl groups on the pyrimidine ring. It has the following structural formula. Each phenobarbital tablet contains 15 mg, 16.2 mg, 30 mg, 32.4 mg, 60 mg, 64.8 mg, 97.2 mg or 100 mg of phenobarbital. In addition each tablet contains: colloidal silicon dioxide, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose and sodium starch glycolate."

"Description": "Thermazene® is a soft, white, water dispersible cream containing the antimicrobial agent silver sulfadiazine in micronized form for topical application. Each gram of silver sulfadiazine cream contains 10mg of micronized silver sulfadiazine. This active agent has the following structural formula. Silver sulfadiazine cream contains 1% w/w silver sulfadiazine. The vehicle in which the active ingredient is dispersed consists of water, stearyl alcohol, white petrolatum, polyoxyl 40 stearate, propylene glycol, isopropyl myristate, and sorbitan monooleate with 0.3% methylparaben as a preservative."
