"IndicationAndUsage": "Diclofenac sodium topical solution is indicated for the treatment of signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis of the knee(s).",
"Description": "Diclofenac sodium topical solution, USP 1.5% is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, available as a clear, colorless to faintly pink-orange solution for topical application. Diclofenac sodium topical solution, USP contains 1.5% w/w diclofenac sodium, USP, a benzeneacetic acid derivative that is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), designated chemically as 2-[(2,6-dichlorophenyl)amino]-benzeneacetic acid, monosodium salt. It is a white to off-white crystalline powder, hygroscopic, and odorless that is freely soluble in methanol, soluble in alcohol, and sparingly soluble in water. The molecular weight is 318.13. Its molecular formula is C 14H 10Cl 2NNaO 2 and it has the following structural formula:. Each 1 mL of solution contains 16.05 mg of diclofenac sodium, USP. The inactive ingredients in diclofenac sodium topical solution, USP include: alcohol, dimethyl sulfoxide USP (DMSO, 45.5% w/w), glycerin, propylene glycol, and purified water."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Fluticasone propionate nasal spray is indicated for the management of the nasal symptoms of perennial nonallergic rhinitis in adults and pediatric patients aged 4 years and older.",
"Description": "The active component of fluticasone propionate nasal spray, USP is fluticasone propionate, USP, a corticosteroid having the chemical name S-(fluoromethyl)6α,9-difluoro-11β-17-dihydroxy-16α-methyl-3-oxoandrosta-1,4-diene-17β-carbothioate, 17-propionate and the following chemical structure:. Fluticasone propionate is a white to off-white powder with a molecular weight of 500.6 and the molecular formula is C 25H 31F 3O 5S. It is practically insoluble in water, freely soluble in dimethyl sulfoxide and dimethylformamide, and slightly soluble in methanol and 95% ethanol. Fluticasone propionate nasal spray, 50 mcg is an aqueous suspension of microfine fluticasone propionate for topical administration to the nasal mucosa by means of a metering, atomizing spray pump. Fluticasone propionate nasal spray also contains 0.02% w/w benzalkonium chloride, dextrose, microcrystalline cellulose and carboxymethylcellulose sodium, 0.25% w/w phenylethyl alcohol, polysorbate 80, and purified water, and has a pH between 5 and 7. After initial priming, each actuation delivers 50 mcg of fluticasone propionate in 100 mg of formulation through the nasal adapter."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Lidocaine hydrochloride oral topical solution USP, 2% (viscous) is indicated for the production of topical anesthesia of irritated or inflamed mucous membranes of the mouth and pharynx. It is also useful for reducing gagging during the taking of X-ray pictures and dental impressions.",
"Description": "Lidocaine Hydrochloride Oral Topical Solution, USP, 2% (viscous) contains a local anesthetic agent and is administered topically. Lidocaine hydrochloride oral topical solution USP, 2% (viscous) contains lidocaine HCl, which is chemically designated as acetamide, 2-(diethylamino)- N-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)-, monohydrochloride and has the following structural formula:. The molecular formula of lidocaine is C 14H 22N 2O. The molecular weight is 234.34. COMPOSITION OF SOLUTION. Each mL contains 20 mg of lidocaine HCl, wild cherry flavor, methylparaben, propylparaben, saccharin sodium, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, and sodium hydroxide in purified water. The pH is adjusted to 5.0 to 7.0 with hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Daptomycin for injection is a lipopeptide antibacterial indicated for the treatment of: 1 Complicated skin and skin structure infections (cSSSI) in adult and pediatric patients (1 to 17 years of age) (1.1) and,, 2 Staphylococcus aureus bloodstream infections (bacteremia), in adult patients including those with right-sided infective endocarditis, (1.2), 3 Staphylococcus aureus bloodstream infections (bacteremia) in pediatric patients (1 to 17 years of age). (1.3).",
"Description": "Daptomycin for injection contains daptomycin, a cyclic lipopeptide antibacterial agent derived from the fermentation of Streptomyces roseosporus. The chemical name is N-decanoyl-L-tryptophyl-D- asparaginyl-L-aspartyl-L-threonylglycyl-L-ornithyl-L-aspartyl-D-alanyl-L-aspartylglycyl-D- seryl-threo-3-methyl-L-glutamyl-3-anthraniloyl-L-alanine ε1-lactone. The chemical structure is. The empirical formula is C72H101N17O26; the molecular weight is 1620.67. Daptomycin for injection is supplied in a single-dose vial as a sterile, preservative-free, pale yellow to light brown, lyophilized cake containing approximately 500 mg of daptomycin for intravenous (IV) use following reconstitution with 0.9% sodium chloride injection [see Dosage and Administration (2.7)]. The only inactive ingredient is sodium hydroxide, which is used for pH adjustment. Freshly reconstituted solutions of Daptomycin for injection range in color from pale yellow to light brown."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Triamcinolone Acetonide Ointment 0.1%, and 0.5% are indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses.",
"Description": "The topical corticosteroids constitute a class of primarily synthetic steroids used as anti-inflammatory and anti-pruritic agents. The steroids in this class include triamcinolone acetonide. Triamcinolone acetonide is designated chemically as 9-Fluoro-11β, 16α, 17,21-tetrahydroxypregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione cyclic 16, 17-acetal with acetone. Graphic Formula. C24H31FO6, M.W. 434.50. Each gram of 0.1 %, and 0.5% Triamcinolone Acetonide Ointment, provides 1 mg, or 5 mg triamcinolone acetonide, respectively, in an ointment base of light mineral oil and white petrolatum."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Amoxicillin is a penicillin-class antibacterial indicated for treatment of infections due to susceptible strains of designated microorganisms. : 1 Infections of the ear, nose, throat, genitourinary tract, skin and skin structure, and lower respiratory tract. ( 1.1 to 1.4) , 2 In combination for treatment of H. pylori infection and duodenal ulcer disease. ( 1.5) .",
"Description": "Amoxicillin, USP is a semisynthetic antibiotic, an analog of ampicillin, with a broad spectrum of bactericidal activity against many gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. Chemically, it is (2 S,5 R,6 R)-6-[( R)-(-)-2-amino-2-( p-hydroxyphenyl)acetamido]-3,3-dimethyl-7-oxo-4-thia-1-azabicyclo[3.2.0]heptane-2-carboxylic acid trihydrate. The structural formula is:. C 16H 19N 3O 5S3H 2O M.W. 419.45. Amoxicillin Capsules USP. Each capsule, for oral administration, contains 250 mg or 500 mg amoxicillin, USP as the trihydrate. Inactive Ingredients: CAPSULES-DRUG PRODUCT: magnesium stearate, talc. CAPSULE SHELL AND PRINT CONSTITUENTS: black iron oxide, D&C Yellow #10, D&C Yellow #10 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Blue #1 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Blue #2 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Red #40, FD&C Red #40 Aluminum Lake, gelatin, propylene glycol, shellac, titanium dioxide. In addition, the 500 mg capsule shell may also contain methylparaben, potassium hydroxide, propylparaben, and sodium lauryl sulfate; and the 250 mg capsule shell contains D&C Red #28 and FD&C Blue #1. Amoxicillin for Oral Suspension USP. Each 5 mL of reconstituted suspension contains 125 mg or 250 mg of amoxicillin, USP as the trihydrate. Inactive Ingredients: SUSPENSION: FD&C Red #40, mixed berry flavoring, silicon dioxide, sodium benzoate, sodium citrate, sucrose, and xanthan gum. Amoxicillin Tablets USP (Chewable). Each chewable tablet, for oral administration, contains 125 mg or 250 mg of amoxicillin, USP as the trihydrate. Inactive Ingredients: CHEWABLE TABLETS: cherry flavor, lactose anhydrous, magnesium stearate, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium citrate, and sucrose."

"Description": "Pregabalin is described chemically as (S)-3-(aminomethyl)-5-methylhexanoic acid. The molecular formula is C8H17NO2 and the molecular weight is 159.23. The chemical structure of pregabalin is. Pregabalin, USP is a white to off-white, colored powder with a pKa1 of 4.2 and a pKa2 of 10.6. It is freely soluble in water and both basic and acidic aqueous solutions. The log of the partition coefficient (n-octanol/0.05M phosphate buffer) at pH 7.4 is – 1.35. Pregabalin capsules are administered orally and are supplied as imprinted hard-shell capsules containing 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 225, and 300 mg of pregabalin. Each capsule contains following inactive ingredients: gelatin, pregelatinised starch, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc and titanium dioxide. Additionally, 50 mg capsules contain iron oxide yellow; 75 mg and 100 mg capsules contain FD & C Yellow 6, and FD & C Red 3; 150 mg capsules contain FD & C Yellow 6, and D & C Yellow 10; 200 mg and 225 mg capsules contain iron oxide red, and iron oxide yellow; and 300 mg capsules contain FD & C Blue 1, FD & C Yellow 6. The capsule body is imprinted with black pharmaceutical ink which contains shellac, propylene glycol, black iron oxide, and potassium hydroxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Lidocaine hydrochloride oral topical solution USP, 2% (viscous) is indicated for the production of topical anesthesia of irritated or inflamed mucous membranes of the mouth and pharynx. It is also useful for reducing gagging during the taking of X-ray pictures and dental impressions.",
"Description": "Lidocaine Hydrochloride Oral Topical Solution, USP, 2% (viscous) contains a local anesthetic agent and is administered topically. Lidocaine hydrochloride oral topical solution USP, 2% (viscous) contains lidocaine HCl, which is chemically designated as acetamide, 2-(diethylamino)- N-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)-, monohydrochloride and has the following structural formula:. The molecular formula of lidocaine is C 14H 22N 2O. The molecular weight is 234.34. COMPOSITION OF SOLUTION. Each mL contains 20 mg of lidocaine HCl, wild cherry flavor, methylparaben, propylparaben, saccharin sodium, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, and sodium hydroxide in purified water. The pH is adjusted to 5.0 to 7.0 with hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide."

Pregabalin Capsules are administered orally and are supplied as imprinted hard-shell capsules containing 25 mg, 50 mg, 75 mg, 100 mg, 150 mg, 200 mg, 225 mg, and 300 mg of pregabalin, along with pregelatinized starch and talc as inactive ingredients. The capsule shells contain gelatin, titanium dioxide and sodium lauryl sulfate. In addition, the orange capsule shells (75 mg, 100 mg, 200 mg, 225 mg and 300 mg strengths) contain the colorants FD&C Blue 1, FD&C Red 40 and FD&C Yellow 6. The imprinting ink contains shellac, black iron oxide, propylene glycol, and potassium hydroxide."

The chemical structure of pregabalin is:. Pregabalin USP is a white to off-white powder with a pK a1of 4.2 and a pK a2of 10.6. It is freely soluble in water and both basic and acidic aqueous solutions. The log of the partition coefficient (n-octanol/0.05M phosphate buffer) at pH 7.4 is – 1.35. Pregabalin capsules are administered orally and are supplied as imprinted hard-shell capsules containing 25 mg, 50 mg, 75 mg, 100 mg, 150 mg, 200 mg, 225 mg, and 300 mg of pregabalin USP, along with corn starch and talc as inactive ingredients. The capsule shells contain gelatin, titanium dioxide, and sodium lauryl sulphate. In addition, 75 mg, 100 mg, 200 mg, 225 mg and 300 mg capsules contain red iron oxide. The imprinting ink contains black iron oxide, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, and shellac."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Adults and Pediatric Patients. Adult Patients only. Triple therapy for Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori)with clarithromycin and lansoprazole :. Amoxicillin capsules in combination with clarithromycin plus lansoprazole as triple therapy, is indicated for the treatment of patients with H. pyloriinfection and duodenal ulcer disease (active or 1-year history of a duodenal ulcer) to eradicate H. pylori. Eradication of H. pylorihas been shown to reduce the risk of duodenal ulcer recurrence. Dual therapy for H. pyloriwith lansoprazole : Amoxicillin capsules, in combination with lansoprazole delayed-release capsules as dual therapy, is indicated for the treatment of patients with H. pyloriinfection and duodenal ulcer disease (active or 1-year history of a duodenal ulcer) who are either allergic or intolerant to clarithromycin or in whom resistance to clarithromycin is known or suspected. (See the clarithromycin package insert, MICROBIOLOGY.) Eradication of H. pylorihas been shown to reduce the risk of duodenal ulcer recurrence. Usage. It may be represented structurally as: The amoxicillin molecular formula is C 16H 19N 3O 5S3H 2O, and the molecular weight is 419.45. Each capsule of amoxicillin with blue cap and pink body, contains 250 mg or 500 mg amoxicillin USP as the trihydrate. The body of the 250 mg capsule is imprinted with ‘A44’ in black ink. The body of the 500 mg capsule is imprinted with ‘A45’ in black ink. Inactive ingredients: D&C Red No. 28, FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C Red No. 40, gelatin, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate, and titanium dioxide.
